1161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what do you think about post rules and merit bitcointalk on: December 30, 2018, 05:53:58 AM
Complaining about newbies not getting merit is not going to get you any. Not from me, at least. All that I can recommend is that you start reading all that you can about Bitcoin/cryptocurrency. Once you become more informed, your posts should become more interesting. Unfortunately, I cannot judge the quality of your other posts because I do not understand your language.
1162  Other / Meta / Re: Autoban on: December 30, 2018, 02:56:30 AM

Good advice, I always do. I agree with you but I  believe in second chance even if I am not allowed anymore in signature campaign.

There is some discussion of that in another thread. However, it is not implemented at this time. For now, you will just have to live with the status quo. Also, you will be unable to chime in with your opinion on that thread since that would be considered ban evasion and this current account may get banned. Also, if the proposal to just ban signature ever goes through, I'm not certain it will be retroactive.
1163  Other / Meta / Re: Autoban on: December 30, 2018, 02:32:09 AM

I think it's unfair to instaban without warning or a restricted ban for example.

There is a warning. It's called the rules which are posted as a sticky here is Meta. Going forward, I recommend that you actually take the time to read the rules of any website that you use. Also, copying someone else's work is never OK without proper citation. If you tried to do this at school, you are likely to get a failing grade and potentially expelled. If you did this as part of your job, you are likely to get fired or sued. I know that copy/pasting someone's shitpost seems like a minor infraction. However, Bitcointalk has to draw line somewhere. Even with this policy, many of the boards here are inundated with shit posting. If we just let people get away with copy/paste, the forum would be practically unreadable.

Already done, I waited 2 weeks no response I remember reading that they no longer answer ban appeal email so I decided to open this thread.
Well, now you have a response. I am sorry that you don't like the answers. Maybe a champion for your cause will show up shortly. However, I doubt it.
1164  Other / Meta / Re: Autoban on: December 30, 2018, 02:16:13 AM

Many accounts have been banned for copy/paste going a year or more back. The policy against copy/paste is pretty stringent on this forum. Also, since it appears that you are a bounty hunter; so, your posting is financially motivated. Your chance of appealing this and getting it overturned are less than you being able to walk through the entire Earth, intact, due to quantum tunneling.

I only participated in 2 signature campaign Rebellious(6 months-voluntary) and Ubcoin(paid 2 months) sorry for bothering with details but I wanted to say that I am not here for money only.

Well, then follow the instructions on your ban message and attempt to appeal it. Only the administrative/moderation team can overturn your appeal. However, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a favorable response. In fact, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for any response at all.
1165  Other / Meta / Re: Autoban on: December 30, 2018, 02:02:19 AM

Indeed you're totally right but what's your point, the post you're mentioning are old and it's obvious I was banned for something else.

Also, it appears that you are a bounty hunter; so, your posting is financially motivated. (Nothing wrong with that. However, copy/paste is shitty way to do your "task." You really think people are stopping and pausing enough to read your one line copy/paste post long enough to notice the signature?)Your chance of appealing this and getting it overturned are less than you being able to walk through the entire Earth, intact, due to quantum tunneling.
1166  Other / Meta / Re: Autoban on: December 30, 2018, 01:44:08 AM
Well, if you are curious, you can start going through his posts and goggling them to verify none are copy/paste. I poked around a little. However, I'm not very proficient at it. I suspect other people have better tools to find these things. I already checked the OPs posted eth address and can't find any other accounts linked that way, so it wasn't for ban evasion.

If you start from the first post it won't take long:

I just sent a pm and downloaded the wallet.
Hope I get some coins, looks like a great project!
I will do what I can to help.
THANKS!

You must use a better tool than Google. When I Google "I just sent a pm and downloaded the wallet." I just get an entry on the beloved bitcointalk.to site.

His profile is https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=riosakamoto in case you didn't see hyperlink.

looked at a few of his posts, he is not a shit-poster in fact the quality of his posts is not bad at all. and he didn't seem like a copy-paste person, i am interested in knowing the ban reason  Grin.

1168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin allowed to continue? on: December 29, 2018, 05:50:38 PM
The reason Bitcoin is "allowed" to continue is that any reasonable effort to destroy or stop it would cost the attacker(s) billions of dollars. In the end, I do not see how any entity would be willing to spend billions of dollars destroying or stopping BTC when the efforts would likely fail anyway. Some say the attacker could benefit by shorting the market. The markets are too illiquid at this time to possibly recoup the costs before most persistent bulls either get REKT, or give up, making the market even more illiquid.
1169  Other / Meta / Re: Please show Trust in Project Development on: December 29, 2018, 02:47:09 PM
@MS69 rather than replying to an old thread with an off topic post, you should open up a thread in Reputation to discuss this matter there.
1170  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Was Abraham mentally ill? on: December 26, 2018, 04:05:52 AM
The smart move is to believe in God, not saying I do though.

God Exists:

Belive in God you go to heaven.

Don't Believe you go to hell.

God Doesn't Exist:

Believe in God nothing happens

Don't believe nothing happens

Unfortunately, it isn't that simple. Many religions put requirements on what it takes to get to heaven or a state of Nirvana or whatever. Even many Protestants who claim you can just say a prayer to God and accept Jesus in your heart to go to heaven then proceed to give sermon after sermon placing questions on how "sincere" your faith really is. I say the most logical choice is to enjoy life now and forget about the afterlife. Of all the religious dogma out there, I think the Wicans actually make the most sense with "do as thou wilt but harm none."
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of Keys / Proof of Trust / Bitcoin Independence Day on: December 25, 2018, 04:08:37 PM
Isn't that gonna fuck the market up ?

Of course it would fuck the market up if everyone withdrew their BTC from the exchanges. It would probably have the effect of driving the fiat value up, since bids would be piling up and no asks. However, there are quite a few day traders involved in the markets. I doubt that everyone is going to heed this advise.
1172  Other / Meta / Re: Happy Belated Hanukkah to the forum. on: December 24, 2018, 04:50:30 AM
LOL. Hanukkah is over.... I'm laughing so hard, I'll throw the OP a bone. WTF not?
1173  Other / Meta / Re: Alternatives to Permabans for plagarism on: December 24, 2018, 02:41:34 AM
I'm not in favor of restoring signature privileges based on how many merits someone earns. All this board needs is for one (or more) merit sources to go bad and game the system. Yes, it is prohibited for merit sources to sell merit. However, when greed comes into play, there are all sorts of ways to obfusticate what is really going on and go quite sometime without getting caught.
1174  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: December 23, 2018, 07:31:01 PM
....I think it is quite possible a technologically superior extraterrestrial being could pull much of this off. ....

That statement has been guarded against in the various creeds by making the JC "the son of god" with a bunch of mumbo jumbo about trinity, and various other beliefs such as "personal relationship with God," eg, not a low level representative of him.

But there is no question, the universe is far wider and richer than we can ever know, and we have only seen a small amount of what is likely out there.

Exactly. Modern science doesn't even fully understand exactly what the universe is made of, hence "dark energy" and "dark matter." The explanation may be that our mathematical theories are inadequate or there truely is "stuff" out there that we have absolutely no idea of what it actually is.
1175  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: December 23, 2018, 07:22:34 PM

That should be enough for anyone to stop believing in Bullshit 1.0, and all other versions that were based on it.

Did you know that there are magic stones inside the Moon's core that influence our mood swings?  Go ahead start your religion.  Call it Bullshit 4.0

Hmm, if we found rocks in the moon core with a high content of lithium, this may be possible. Don't you know that modern pharmacology has it's roots in people performing "magic" and brewing up potions? Some of that "magic" actually worked.  Cheesy
1176  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: December 23, 2018, 06:55:35 PM

But if you come out and believe in all major religions, all I can say you are definitely delusional as the fundamentals of each religion are based on nonsense.  Pregnant women cannot be virgins, people don't come back from dead, horses do not have wings to fly to outer space, people cannot part oceans to cross on land.  If you can demonstrate that any of it is possible, please post a youtube video.

Perhaps not 2000+ years ago; however, with the modern miracle of science, it is quite possible for a pregnant woman to be a virgin. Also, emergency rooms bring back people from the dead all the time. Perhaps not people that are dead for more than a few moments, but brought back nevertheless. Furthermore, science is getting better at genetic engineering. It may be possible to create a horse with wings that can fly. Probably not all the way to outer space though and the horse probably could not be full size. (Although some pterodactyls were quite large.) Also, we cannot part the ocean at this time. However, a few more advances in science may make even this feat economically viable.
Personally, I consider myself an agnostic. However, I think it is quite possible a technologically superior extraterrestrial being could pull much of this off. What we can do today with our fingertips would have been considered quite magical one hundred years ago.

1177  Economy / Reputation / Re: A boycott of replies to the recent extensive trolling by cryptohunter on: December 23, 2018, 05:24:49 PM
Can somebody tell me in just one simple line what his real objective is?
This theory proposed by suchmoon in another thread seems compelling.

This all feigned concern about plagiarism bans etc was also just your attempt to whitewash your own copypasta.
1178  Other / Meta / Re: Threats to inflict bodily harm on: December 23, 2018, 05:03:43 PM
I'm not quite certain of the context of the message though. Is the person who posted it associated in any way with "the very rich serbians." Otherwise, it's equivalent to someone speculating what another party may do.
1179  Other / Meta / Re: Threats to inflict bodily harm on: December 23, 2018, 04:43:37 PM
Yes, I'm sure that what they are implying is that they want to treat the person with an ugly face to a makeover.  Roll Eyes

1180  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: December 23, 2018, 05:26:18 AM
