261  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin going up on: December 17, 2017, 04:27:20 AM
Freaking buy more!!! People sell bitcoin still? In this day and age? Are you drunk / high?!?!? No! Don't give back into the banks! They don't deserve to be trusted and you never have to again!

You're free! Welcome to true financial freedom that our parents and grandparents never got to see. You're lucky as hell to be here and so am I.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin only an advantage ? on: December 17, 2017, 04:25:19 AM
Right now it's more of a store of value because it's not scaling properly. I'm sure it'll be fixed, once more wallets start using segwit addresses and of course when the lightning network comes into play. That's going to be a game - changer that I'm sticking around for.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coins real or fake? on: December 17, 2017, 04:23:46 AM
Lol U having a look through coinmarketcap?

Most are shitcoins. Some shitcoins have lots of buzz words that make newbies feel like they're investing in something so interesting and mind-bending when it's just a polished turd (*COUGH*ETHEREUM*COUGH*). I'd do a ton of your own research before putting your hard earned money into a shitcoin.

Are they owned by companies? Only centralized shitcoins. Ripple, stellar any ERC20 token for the most part are companies. They're the shit on the bottom of your shoe, which is worse than a shitcoin. They're owned by banks and conglomerates.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are they afraid of bitcoin? on: December 17, 2017, 04:19:47 AM
People are afraid of the unknown and will assume that the status quo will always be there. Fiat is as dead as newspapers or floppy disks. Technically they still work, but they're big, clunky and unnecessary. Both where replaced by one thing. The internet. Now we have the internet of money, and the banks aren't on board because they can't control it. Much like how the internet can't (fully) be controlled (yeah I know I know, net neutrality).
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need an opinion on rejecting a job offer or crypto on: December 17, 2017, 04:16:39 AM
Uh what? 1000 in how long? A week? A month? That's not a huge amount of money so why would you move across the world for that? I'd just stick with crypto and HODL until be land on the moon but you've also got to love so do what's best for you.
266  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Viabtc Accelerator Question... Is This Safe? on: December 17, 2017, 04:15:04 AM
There's really no risk, other than their website being hacked and you downloading g malware or something like that. I mean, that could happen on any site though, so just use good judgement.

Basically, they'll include your transaction in the next block that they mine. They don't have a massive mining pool but it's a pretty big one so if you sent a very low fee (at least 10 sats/byte) you should be able to accelerate it.

Try accelerating your tx right on the hour. Apparently that's when they accept more. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't though and I'm not sure why. There could be a daily limit, although I don't know.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Wolf of Wall Street' says Bitcoin is a 'huge scam' and a 'bubble' on: December 17, 2017, 04:10:30 AM
Haha oh it's the dumbass that compared it to the tulip mania. Hey can someone ask him what the hard cap of tulips is? I can't seem to find it when I Google it. I know bitcoin has one. Actually, everyone knows that bitcoins. Has one. Also it's fungible, can be broken down to 8 decimal places... how do I sell something for 1/3 of a tulip!? Do I get only stem? Seems like that would be the worthless part.

This guy and an ancient dinosaur on his way to extinction and he's fighting for his life. Screw him and his dinosaur friends. We're going to take over the ancient financial system.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who do you think is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: December 17, 2017, 04:06:37 AM
Honestly, Hal Finney is the most logical choice. He passed away around when Satoshi stopped communicating and he would obviously want to test the transaction with himself. Sending himself emails really isn't that far-fetched. The idea was that this catches on, and obviously it did.

Whether it's Hal or not, we have to thank all of these people for their contributions. Without them, Bitcoin wouldn't be where it is today.
269  Economy / Lending / Re: 11$ BTC LOAN on: December 17, 2017, 04:03:31 AM
shouldnt be fees and if any it'd come out of my end.
So all you'd have to do is send 0.00057 to my address which is 11$
And I'll make sure to take care of you on my end

There will be a miner's fee, which he'll need to pay up front. It'll probably cost as much to send as it would to loan to you is what he's saying. Unless you're willing to wait 24h and hope that the funds arrive with a low miner's fee.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: December 17, 2017, 04:00:28 AM
If bitcoin is hacked (the protocol) then everything else in the world is fucked all at the same time so I wouldn't be too concerned. Just try not to get accidentally nuked or anything and the devs will hard for into a new algo.
271  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex ignores thousands of clients! on: December 17, 2017, 03:56:58 AM
Holy crap just look at the backlog that we can see. Imagine how many people are stuck there with no hope of ever getting out. That's a damn shame. Glad I only used them when I needed to exchange funds and didn't leave anything on there.
272  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for hard-working and fast responsive people on: December 17, 2017, 03:55:32 AM
Could you give some details as to how much you're paying and what you'd like someone to do? I may be interested but if you're expecting us to be a live chat agent 24/7 for $5 an hour I'm not interested.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friend sent me .03 BTC - what to do now? on: December 17, 2017, 03:54:03 AM
Why not keep it? Why not learn how to use it? Why not learn how your country makes your money? That'll be a shock then you'll be hooked for life. It's not logical and is not in the best interest of people, it's in the best interest of bankers and their supreme overlords, central banks.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Max Keiser: bitcoin to reach 100,000 USD on: December 17, 2017, 03:52:21 AM
I expect to see a hell of a lot more FUD and then we'll know we're really spiking. What do those morons writing about tuples mania have to say for themselves now? They're just so pissed that they where too stupid to read the whitepaper and get away from massive banks.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit 2x Activation on: December 16, 2017, 04:06:57 AM
You bought futures for a coin that will never exist. Good luck with that! That's why you just buy coins that exist! I thought that went without saying, but hitbtc is sketchy and they love to pull this crap.
276  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Speed Up My Bitcoin Transaction - Free Tool on: December 16, 2017, 03:46:23 AM
Mhm. Thanks for registering just to show us this unheard of site that we should visit if we cheaper out on a fee. Why not use viabtc's legit accelerator rather than this questionable one?
277  Economy / Economics / Re: How could futures impact bitcoin? on: December 16, 2017, 03:43:12 AM
If futures get bigger in the future I would expect big swings just like we've seen recently. It's only going to make things even more speculative than they already are right now.
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency as our Fiat on: December 16, 2017, 03:41:07 AM
Honestly not the way it is now. I'm not going to pay BTC0.00050000 for a transaction when bitcoins are 17k each and neither would anyone else. It's not even really worth buying appliances with. At some point when it stops rising so much I think things will level out, become normal and the fees will settle down to where they should be. At that point yeah bitcoin could take over the world.
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying alt coins has been a bad investment for the past 6 months, what to do? on: December 15, 2017, 04:11:58 AM
Yeah altcoins will do that. They just aren't valuable and are 100% speculative. Bitcoin is the only worthwhile coin with a real value IMO. Maybe some alts compete, but being the first and having the most developers is definitely a massive plus for bitcoin.
280  Economy / Economics / Re: What's your vision of cryptocurrencies ? on: December 15, 2017, 04:09:45 AM
In 40 years bitcoin will either be used by everyone or no one. It depends if it still competes with newer technology. There could be something better than cryptocurrency but has the same idea. A decentralized currency that somehow avoids having the government invest in it at all.
