261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: January 29, 2023, 05:09:12 AM
Alts are usually high-risk high rewards. You can buy bitcoin and get +50% with a high probability, or you can get +200% with alts but with the risk of losing your money.
262  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we end the *VOLATILITY OF BITCOIN* on: January 29, 2023, 05:03:27 AM
Bitcoin is an asset and people will always treat it like an asset so it won't be stable anytime soon.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Main reason government won't fully accept bitcoin on: January 29, 2023, 05:00:54 AM
I think they will adopt bitcoin right after they will find a way to tax it. Yeah, you are right, they hate it because they can't trace it and get money from it. The fact that bitcoin is called freedom money should already implement that officials will hate it.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Sam Bankman-Fried go to jail? on: January 28, 2023, 07:58:28 AM
At this point, it feels like he won't go to jail. Feels like everyone is covering for him. I think he might manage to pay some users back before the trial so they will go easy on him. But I want to see this dude in jail cos if he will be out, he will make FTX 2.0 in no time.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: January 28, 2023, 07:55:51 AM
I think because bitcoin is the future of money, we should treat it like this all the time. So everyone should educate people around them in one way or another. So yeah, I think we should speak with our children about bitcoin.
266  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: BitCrack - A tool for brute-forcing private keys on: January 25, 2023, 10:31:03 AM
As for right now, it's nearly impossible to brute force private keys. You literally need a quantum computer that will work 24/7 for that. So I think it's literally easier to just fish for the private keys.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin always shames social media experts. on: January 25, 2023, 10:26:37 AM
Happy bull run bro. It's crazy how everyone on social media thinks that they know sh*t about bitcoin lol. In reality, these guys are just "bullish" all the time and lose money by investing in "good" projects like blockfi or they just promote scam projects and casinos. I think bitboy is the best example, the dude literally promotes a scam saying that it's a scam and he never promoted it. Sometimes I feel like folks on Twitter don't remember what happened yesterday and ignore all red flags 24/7.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the core dev team plan to fight Quantum computers? on: January 22, 2023, 09:23:30 AM
Why should Bitcoin devs waste their time on a threat that is powerless today, will be powerless in the near future and unclear when or even if it will ever be serious enough to put private keys at risk. And this threat is not unique to Bitcoin, your credit card and Internet connection also could be hacked by a quantum computer, yet cryptography researches are not rushing to shift towards quantum-resistant cryptography, because they know there's still a lot of time left.
I'm not sure that it will be really powrless in the near future. A lot of money in the QC industry, sooner or later it will become more powerful. We should think about a long term treat for BTC. Hope to see more quantum resistance algos in the future
269  Economy / Economics / Re: ECB starts 24 month digital euro project. on: July 26, 2021, 06:04:13 AM
Why they need 24 months for digital euro? Is it so hard to create gov level blockchain?
270  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OWNR wallet. Buy, exchange and store crypto. Order Visa prepaid card. on: April 25, 2021, 07:08:53 AM
I decided to order a card and test it. Although the commission seems a bit high to me. I hope this will be fixed.
Fees are acceptable if you want to use it everyday because you dont have more fiat left

273  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: March 05, 2021, 06:35:43 AM

276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Appeal to Everyone to secure your future on: February 06, 2021, 02:50:48 PM

279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Litecoin stay as "Blockchain silver" an important coin? on: January 15, 2021, 02:39:47 PM
