2621  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the global currency cannot be 100% internet based and if we will have one on: March 25, 2019, 07:20:00 PM
We already have a lot of currencies that are used by most countries and can be considered world currencies.
World currency can hardly be based on the Internet. If it is a generally accepted world currency, it should have guarantees of security, stability, security, and so on. The currency that will exist on the Internet cannot meet such criteria. In any case, a decentralized cryptocurrency can hardly be a world currency. I admit the possibility of a world centralized cryptocurrency of one of the most powerful state or union of states.
2622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Winklevoss brothers suggests more regulations for cryptos on: March 25, 2019, 06:27:54 PM
I agree that we need more rules in cryptocurrency. However, the rules are not for changing the essence of cryptocurrency, but clear rules for its circulation in each state. Now we see that the lack of clear rules in the activities of the ICO led to the permissiveness of the ICO team, who are no longer shy to write in the conditions of the bounty hunters joining that they have the right to change any conditions in the ICO at any time. That is, these arbitrarily established rules will correspond to the fact that they can change their mind to pay us the earned tokens or select only a few tokens. This can not last long. We need clear rules for all participants in the cryptocurrency market.
2623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins in cryptocurrency? on: March 24, 2019, 08:28:13 AM
How many stable coins have been registered at Coinmarketcap to date? And what is the cheapest price. Please provide your knowledge, Thank you for contributing to this comment.
Stable coins don't have the cheapest price. Each stable coin is equal to one unit of that ordinary currency, the digital copy of which it represents. It can not differ much in price from one, a deviation in price from one already means that something abnormal happens with a stable coin. Stable coins are not intended for profit, they only provide ease of use of cryptocurrency.
2624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luck is the opposite on: March 24, 2019, 08:18:18 AM
I have a very good intuition in the other direction.
If I buy something, then it falls in price. If I sell, it grows almost immediately. Am I following the crowd and losing, or are I being harassed (curse)?
Am I the only one?
I think that you exaggerate the negative moments in working with cryptocurrency. In cryptocurrency, it is impossible not to make mistakes. They are inevitably made by everyone who deals with cryptocurrency, because the price movement of cryptocurrency is very difficult to predict. You just focus your attention on these negative points, and you should not do this. In a cryptocurrency, losses should be treated philosophically and rejoice in success. Then your opinion on this matter will change.
2625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: March 24, 2019, 08:06:12 AM
Nothing is impossible in this world. There are no ways to end scams or fake things. What can be done is just control it through various means. The process to verify identification I think is very much good idea and it will help the clients as well. But there are still such persons who are always on the look out to cheat. In my case, I have filled out many forms for KYC verification and I am always genuine.
In this case, you do not show sincerity, but naivety and stupidity. Look, the Internet is filled with confidential data of naive persons who gave their personal data and copies of their documents to fraudsters. They can be bought for a hundred pieces for ten dollars and even cheaper if if you need several hundred of such data. So do not be surprised if you are called to the police station and accused of complicity in murder or other serious crimes, because your confidential data was used. If such data and copies of documents were used by officials for their criminal purposes, then it will be very difficult for you to prove your innocence. I know many cases when such naive persons spent a long time in prison. So I advise you to be very careful in this regard.
2626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: March 24, 2019, 06:54:34 AM
First of all, the KYC check on bounty hunters is illegal. No state requires that the ICO collect confidential information about those who promote the ICO project on the Internet. The KYC check is carried out with the aim of preventing dirty money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism and cannot be carried out for any other purposes, since it violates the right of citizens to the confidentiality of the individual. By requiring us to undergo a KYC check, ICO teams abuse and abuse their rights, taking advantage of the fact that this activity is not yet regulated.
2627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOPE FOR SHIT COIN on: March 23, 2019, 06:17:27 AM
Hello

Please i want make a quick inquire please. can there be any possible hope a shit coin to come back alive. i participated on an ICO that are responsible for reinventing dead coins. the project is known as coin janitor. they believed that there are tokens that are good but was closed down due some factors like market dump or no finance which lead to the demise of the token.
Could there be any means by which a dead coin can be resurrected again ?
Shitty coins are useless to resurrect. But really, I agree that many good ICO projects have now failed due to the current stagnation of the cryptocurrency market. Perhaps these ICO projects can be of some help. You just have to see what happens with such a coin or tokens after the cryptocurrency market starts to recover.
2628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new look to KYC, from a customer's perspective. on: March 23, 2019, 06:09:23 AM
I have been suggesting something similar for a while now to avoid fake and scam icos, it should be a rule that the project that intends to raise funds should post company registration documents alongwith team's kyc documents verified from government agencies and i think this is the only way to filter out scammers from ico community.
Now you can fake any documents and show them on the Internet as your own. We experimented to create a new document on the basis of any other document, changing the information and photo in it, and then print, put in a special cover and present it for verification by KYC. Such documents are tested by KYC, they are very difficult to distinguish. I think that the publication of documents and other information about yourself by members of the ICO team will not solve the problem of fraud. We need government regulation of ICO activities, only authorized state bodies are able to qualitatively verify the documents provided in the original and completely eliminate the problem of fraud in the ICO.
2629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if every country has its own crypto currency on: March 23, 2019, 05:34:14 AM
Many states are taking certain steps to release their own cryptocurrency. I do not think that this will adversely affect the decentralized cryptocurrency. On the contrary, citizens will be more familiar with cryptocurrency and trust it more. Interest in decentralized cryptocurrency will increase significantly.
2630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH?? on: March 22, 2019, 08:08:00 PM
It's a good question, and if you look closer you'll see that ERC20 price movement is more in line with ETH than BTC.
But I don't think ETH and BTC are truly detached so it doesn't impact analysis all that much.
The price of altcoins is still dependent on the price of bitcoin. This will occur as long as Bitcoin will maintain a high level of its capitalization. However, the level of Bitcoin capitalization tends to a steady decline. The day will come when its level of capitalization will fall so much that it will cease to dominate in price terms over other types of cryptocurrency.
It seems to me that this will be the best time for the development of cryptocurrency.
2631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin shortage - Is it Possible? on: March 22, 2019, 07:52:55 PM
I personally don’t think it would ever come to that point, since the value of bitcoin adjusts to satisfy the demand. I’d like to hear other opinions?
There can be no shortage of bitcoin or other specific cryptocurrency in cryptocurrency. If demand for cryptocurrency rises, and supply cannot meet demand, the price for this cryptocurrency rises and buyers and sellers come to an agreement based on the increased price of cryptocurrency.
In addition, the cryptocurrency market will always contain many homogeneous coins and tokens with similar functionality in the future. Therefore, the choice should always be large and diverse.
2632  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrency regulation? on: March 22, 2019, 07:21:37 PM
No doubt about the future of fiat money: it's gonna be replaced by cryptocurrencies.
But does virtual money need a REGULATOR?
There is no doubt that the national paper money of the states will remain in the near and distant future. Cryptocurrency, especially decentralized, can never replace the national money of the states. It is not intended for this and is not capable of it. States will never refuse to use their national money, because they are a reflection of the state’s economy and interact with the economy. Cryptocurrency in general can not be tied to any state economy.
Agree, I also think that fiat will never be replaced because the government will always manage fiat to exist. but regulation does not mean crypto will replace fiat right? regulations are made so that crypto is free to use without any restrictions and I think it will be applied in the future

Of course, the regulation of cryptocurrency does not mean at all that it will replace the national money of the states. Regulation of cryptocurrency is inevitable and necessary and, as a rule, it means determining the official status of cryptocurrency, establishing the order and conditions of its circulation within the state and solving the issue of taxation of this type of activity.
I also agree that cryptocurrency will not replace fiat with itself, it is simply not capable of it. It will go along with other types of ordinary currencies and they will complement each other's capabilities.
2633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long does Ico last? on: March 19, 2019, 05:35:26 AM
Now with the duration of the ICO is a big problem, as with other specific points in this activity. Previously, ICO projects lasted a month and a half - yes. Now, it has become almost the norm to hold an ICO for six months, or even more. Of course, the cause is in most cases objective reasons. With such a stagnant cryptocurrency market and low investor activity, even promising ICO projects cannot even collect a minimum amount of funds. So they are trying to solve this problem by increasing the duration of their ICO. The situation will improve significantly when the market starts to grow.
2634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the king of Altcoin? on: March 19, 2019, 05:23:22 AM
The king of cryptocurrency is Bitcoin. But who is the king of Altcoin?

The King of Altcoin who is ETH or Litecoin? I think ETH is the reason most are used in ETH at airdrop. And the price of the ETH is much higher than all other Altcoin. The number of users of ETH coins is also much higher. Litecoin also has a number of users then I think ETH coins are King of Altcoin. It is my personal opinion. You can give your opinion. I know there is many more good Altcoin but ETH is the best. I hope everyone will give feedback.

Best regards
Coin-Desk

If we say that the cryptocurrency is decentralized, then there should not be any kings in it. The leader of the altcoins is ethereum. He has always been, is and I hope will be in this status for a long time.
Now, ethereum successfully implemented the first five improvements and we expect that they will soon bring positive results for this coin, as young coins such as EOS began to bypass ethereum in functionality.
2635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: March 19, 2019, 05:12:28 AM
I do not consider altcoins useless. Altcoins are the entire cryptocurrency with the exception of Bitcoin. Now it is the Altcoins that are developing well and are able to give good practical results and be useful to people. However, in order for their projects to be divorced, a certain time is necessary, most often several years. Therefore, no need to rush to conclusions. Altcoins still show themselves
They are the future of cryptocurrency.
2636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's to stop a 'Bitcoin 2' taking over... on: March 18, 2019, 05:20:17 AM
There are already coins with better technology than Bitcoin but still people prefer Bitcoin, why? Probably, because when any company looking to integrate crypto, they will add BTC first.
As a result, the usual market economy will work. It will take several decades and only those coins will remain on the cryptocurrency market, which will surpass everyone in terms of technology, functionality, security, usability. Over time, people will stop paying attention to whether it was the first cryptocurrency or the tenth. If Bitcoin wants to stay in the lead, it needs to improve and maintain its competitiveness. This is the main law of the market. Now people just know more about bitcoin, that's why they are interested in them. Information and demand, this is all changeable.
2637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cryptocurrency banks needed. on: March 18, 2019, 05:00:08 AM
I do not see any special need for the existence of cryptocurrency banks, because I have little idea how they will work in practice. However, the bank is voluntary. If someone wants to use his services, why not allow it. On the contrary, to show the uselessness of such banks, they need to be created so that they work and go bankrupt. So let yourself be created. I think there will be no harm for cryptocurrency.
2638  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-16]Central Bank of Russia Plans on Limiting Cryptocurrency Trading on: March 18, 2019, 04:46:16 AM
In Russia, even the draft law on the regulation of cryptocurrency has not been finally adopted, and its ordinary users already want to prevent cryptocurrency trading. It is necessary to have a higher economic education and on account of not less than 915 000 dollars in rubles to practice cryptocurrency, it turns out that in this country the cryptocurrency will be available only for millionaires, and not for ordinary people. Although this is only the intention of the Central Bank of Russia, it is a very dangerous intention.
2639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you see a future with one cryptocurrency or thousands? on: March 17, 2019, 08:26:31 AM
The amount of cryptocurrencies out there is nauseating. Up in the thousands now.

Do you see a future where we're using a wide variety, or will one come out on top?

Technically, if one of these ICO projects create a be-all-end-all decentralized platform where all products and services are bought and sold, I guess it isn't impossible to one day have just one.

What do you think?
In any case, there will always be a lot of different types of cryptocurrency. Some will appear, others will leave the market forever. This will happen, because everyone has the right and opportunity to release his cryptocurrency. At the same time, a lot of cryptocurrencies will appear useless and only some of them will be in demand and will exist for a long time. This is a good way to improve cryptocurrency and while maintaining the current conditions of its occurrence, the future of cryptocurrency in its wide variety.
2640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future for cryptocurrency? on: March 17, 2019, 08:06:23 AM
Since many states have already legalized cryptocurrency, they write that 111 states have already done this, the cryptocurrency should develop well in the near future. In the future, everything will depend on how massively ordinary people will accept and use it. Therefore, the cryptocurrency must be reliable, secure and easy to use. How all this will be done in practice, time will tell.
