I think it wasn't bottom the bottom is around $1-$100 dollars that's a stupi bottom, not gonna happen, below 200 is a tough one already I'd bet we will go to the $100 range.

Got a New R-box coming myself actually!! I love the idea of a low power miner. Run it without worry as 30 cents a day to run it is peanuts. The true hobbiest miner . Yeah, it's perfect for starting off. Build Quality is top notch as well. Only reason I've gone into home mining is because I'm loosing faith in cloud mining. Even if it cost's more in the long run atleast I'd have something to show for it. Nonetheless it's more of a hobby for me. Cheers. -- Ross Same I just do mining as a hobby. I currently have 2 S3's and 1 S1 running. I will shutdown my S1 when my new rbox arrives.

Still down right now,I guess lots of coins would be sold after the restart.
IMO they will be withdrew not sold.

Where are the bears now? Lol. Usual scaremongering. Anything to get the price lower. Sad Are they open yet? If they survive the "bank run" it will create a very bullish situation IMO. The first time in history a "bank" has actually had the shit they claim they do?!?!?! (legit.. I don't think it's happened before they ALWAYS have less gold, w/e than they said they do.. always)

second 300mBTC
final 400 mBTC
Would you guys be interested? I'll upload a picture of the squares when complete. Just feeling out interest right now.

Exact same thing happened in the US from 2005 to 2009. Prices did not continue to go up.
How many years have Canada's housing boom been going on?
10-15...

If you get a leader in there that wants to bring value back to the CAD, they will raise interest rates.
Reagan did this in the early 80s raising interest to almost 20%. It brought a shock to the economy at first but ended with a better economy overall.
We are so dependent on the housing "market".. it would annihilate our ecom. I would even say if the housing goes below a 3% return a year things will get really bad. A country wealth is build by service and production, not inflated asset. Suppose to be.. alas ours is currently not.

It would seem interest rates will just continue to go lower. I doubt we will ever see 5% again as long as the CAD exists. It just is not possible it would decimate the ecom.
I am wondering when it only costs .5% for a loan what do you think the average house price will be?
Do you think the avg price will hit 1 mill with in the next 10 years?

If there is a bank run on stamp they might not.. IMO the longer they wait to open the more intense the run will be.

Alas the gov has ensured it is as difficult as it could possibly be to buy BTC.

It is extremely probable they'll never reopen, for the reasons OP and others have pointed out. Why reopen if a fund run (both BTC and FIAT) is the most likely scenario and the outcome of that scenario is their economical failure? Better to earn time with vague promises while the money is laundered in bank heavens.
I agree the odds are there will be a bank run. How they handle it may define the future of BTC for some time.

Your average Joe does not buy gold as a store of value to speculate on. Maybe as brand new jewelry from a shop, but he would only get a small fraction of what he paid if selling for scrap or secondhand. However, gold still holds value.
Gold is still a multi trillion dollar market despite us coming off the gold standard in 1971. Most countries still buy and hold gold. The world did not agree with the idea of leaving the gold standard.. Many people still think we are on it. If the world was educated on what money is.. shit would get crazy with PM's and cryptos as well. The odds of this happening are almost 0.
