you really didn't get burned that hard, or maybe you did? but the most important thing is to stop trading and hold to your coins now, when you face such a lost this is best strategy, the thing is that most of us posting these charts and some may tell you that they have an analyze "a good one" but to be honest If I learned something from Bitcoin is that it is unpredictable, you cannot predict directions , you can just speculate and get lucky.

I started as a miner with my PC (a couple of ATI 5970, didn't mine much though) and the ASIC era forced me to stop mining ( BTW best decision ever) I decided to buy few bitcoins mostly between 10-130 $  I didn't spend so much money on buying which I regret today, at the time I thought I was late to the game. I didn't even take Bitcoins seriously or even searched the concept but I took time and read more about it and register on this board just than I knew what innovation I was missing... etc

but let me tell you about my first trade, long story short I managed to lose more than 30 BTC instantly on stupid moves..... but than I held to the rest of my bitcoins and it paid off, nowadays I do not daily trade, my last trade was a couple of days ago but before of that I was just holding ...

and I think this is what you should do as well, do not daily trade hold until you need the money really bad...

$700 today, $850 till the end of the week and then another breakdown. My dog told me that.

ask your dog what does the fox say ? than ask again what does gox say ?

holy... Bitstamp will over perform Mtgox not only by volume but soon by price as well.... Mtgox is trying to stay in the front so hard but is not addressing the one and most important issue "withdrawals" they are working on Midas Deposits implemnting LTC new OTP so many stuff that could wait but ignoring the most thing that people needs

but I have to admit users not being able to get cash out of gox helped Bitcoin price so much....

I sold 13.21 GMT+1
Not all, but most of the stash I bought @ 350 Euro!
Exit price was 495 and 510 Euro. Sold a little bit before the top.

would you bet on that ?

I did the second I sold.

I hope it will work out for you, always be prepared for surprises, this all what I learned from trading, I have beeen burned so many times that I've learned one big thing, Bitcoin is unpredictable and anything you try to do based on any analyze is pure speculation.....

many of "smart traders" here come and post where the price will head and whatnot... they have no clue... it is a total BS, this is all I can say, we all just speculate....
2625  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 19, 2013, 01:35:16 PM

Only tards hodl!
Pros sold 70min ago.

But you can still sell NOW!

would you bet on that ?

BTW, I am really amazed how can the price rise at this rate when Chinese can not deposit funds, and when you compare the price between USD exchanges and RMB exchanges there is at least $100 dfference, this only means that people understood the Chinese situation and they do not pay much attention anymore .....

Loaded showed up with a suitcase full of cash to buy all the cheap bitcoins in china

this is the problem with Bitcoin market today, it is still so small community that people gives so many fucks about single individuals, when the community grows even more and the buy support become larger, such individuals wont effect the price that much, because when they try to dump/manipulate the market there will be tons of investors waiting for a sweet entry.... and they will get burned trying to manipulate that they will just quit doing it...

meanwhile this is an important news, that can make the price go up really fast http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/2013/12/19/chinese-bitcoin-exchange-accepting-deposits/

deposits are back again, we need to confirm that from someone who has an account on a Chinese exchange.

edit: BTCChina and OKcoin still not accepting deposits
2629  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 19, 2013, 01:10:02 PM
The immediate trend is strongly UP. On daily basis we are way oversold. I expect an advance to 666 area in the following hours/days. After that, the downtrend resumes and visiting the long-term trendline at about 450 is a strong possibility.

EDIT: Bitstamp

you have no idea of what you are talking about, everyone took your advice is heavily burned, I would like to see a screen shot of your trades from your account at gox/stamp, this is the only way for me to believe that you really stick to what you say here in which is really really bad strategy ....

Do you guys think we are finished with the China crash now? Or will we see new lows before the dust settles?

I had no fiat when the big crash happened, selling a bit on the way up now to be ready for cheap coins if we go back down. I personally have a strong feeling we will go back down hard.

I think that if it is going up now the crash is done, most interesting is that China is going up without fresh money, all deposits are temporary stopped, so this is the selling denial faze ,  people are buying back now that everything is clear....

Can you explain how you made this chart?

I dont know what you mean by "how", I made it out of speculation....
2635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 19, 2013, 10:55:21 AM
Bitstamp beating all exchanges only $20 less than Gox Mtgox, and look at that volume

2636  Economy / Speculation / Re: the " stage of a buble" looking so accurate on: December 19, 2013, 10:43:19 AM

From this chart can is it safe to say yesterdays low of $380 won't be seen again?

Anymore dips below $500 before Christmas?

I have no Idea, Bitcoin is unpredictable, we are just speculating, so if there will be no more bad news and if the trend will continue this way, I think we are recovering slowly, if I think there will be new lows ?  the best thing is to spread the risks, you buy some now , you open some low orders just in case and you keep some fiat in standby for fast reaction, at least this is what I've done lately....

2638  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 19, 2013, 10:10:08 AM
even with China without a cash flow into the exchange there is some progress, I would guess that the price should drop even more, but I think that the negative trend is done...

2639  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 19, 2013, 09:55:15 AM
you know that Bitcoin will skyrocket when there is so many bears here...
2640  Economy / Speculation / Re: the " stage of a buble" looking so accurate on: December 19, 2013, 09:20:08 AM
HODL GUYS, we are going to fly without China Smiley

I was buying all the way, I am out of FIAT, as much as that Chart is scary but I think Bitcoin is a whole different story....
