2641  Economy / Economics / Re: Sharing and helping others on: December 19, 2021, 08:47:02 AM
For me this forum is the best about crypto currencies. Almost all of the things I know about cryptos comes from here. There are so many different people here, from all around the world with so many different backgrounds. This forum is great way for beginners, intermediate and experts in cryptos to share their problems and solution. I am grateful to be part of such a nice community.
As for Christmas it's hard for me to find good presents. My cousin asked me a lot about bitcoins this year, for him I will setup a small walket with some BTC as gift. Maybe I can convince him to join this forum as well.
2642  Economy / Economics / Re: Indonesia's 0% Tax on foreigners and digital nomads on: December 19, 2021, 08:30:17 AM
Seems like Indonesia just found a way to attract "the money" into their country. Not yet sure what this entails but I suspect Crypto users may still get taxed. What Indonesia needs to do now is upgrade their Internet infrastructure so that digital nomads and crypto traders can settle there.

Great news, I love Indonesia and going with the flow of innovation is remarkable. This could mean a lot of tourism and expat increase in their nice areas. Who wouldn't want to live in a house directly at the beach and finance it all with crypto currencies. Or imagine creating some crypto flat sharing on Bali. Renting out individual rooms with a full crypto trader setup for a vacation plus good aceess to the market. All it would take is some decent house with modern PCs and high speed Internet access. Especially for the next look down this would be perfect.
2643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: December 19, 2021, 08:23:54 AM

Do you mean not even single scatter in 150 spins? Frankly I cant believe it, but it is possible although the the chance to not hit even a single scatter in 150 spins is so low. What slot you are referring to? I have never experienced such bad streak without a scatter, a scatter should be easy to come but scatters (3-5) as a requirement to get the free spins is harder.

Not even one scatter Symbole in 150 spins seems very unlucky. Not sure what the chances are up get a scatter but it's definitely higher than than in his last session. It seems that chances for getting 5 scatters is  0.000016, so very low. But the chances to get 3 scatters is much higher. Pretty sure if he would play another 150 spins he would get all the scatters he missed out previously. I  not really playing so much spots lately but I tend to always get a some bonuses. Free spins are usually programmed into the games and come after a certain number of spins. For a casino having free spins for slots is a good way to keep players engaged and interested for more.

2645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fundamental goal of bitcoin on: December 18, 2021, 02:12:15 PM
Unfortunately you can only pick one point out of your list. I wanted to choose "To provide alternative to traditional currencies" and "To provide freedom". In my opinion bitcoins were not created to replace traditional currencies, but rather to provide an alternative and reduce the pressure on fiat money.
With bitcoins and other crypto currencies we have a lot of freedom compared to highly regulated fiat currencies. When bitcoins first came out most of us wouldn't have believed how far bitcoins will come in such a short period of time. The only problem that I see is that governments are still trying to figure out ways on to deal with bitcoins. The freedom we have now could be limited in the future through thougher oversight and regulations.
2646  Economy / Economics / Re: Did you realize in real life how Bitcoin gave us financial freedom? on: December 18, 2021, 02:02:49 PM
So far I didn't full realise my financial freedom yet. Crypto currencies are a big part of my investments, the rise in crypto prices shows the power of a decentralised financial system. But to reach freedom I need to buy physical things again. The most important one is probably owning a house. Only after living in my own 4 walls without paying back a bank loan I could fully feel financial freedom. Even if we make decent money with cryptos, as long as we need to pay large monthly bills in fiat money are we stuck in the rat race. Escaping the rat race from Robert Kyiosaki would mean freedom for me.
2647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing with dices on: December 18, 2021, 01:43:08 PM
Sounds like a decent trading strategy. You are right that a martingale strategy can fail over time and is not a guarantee for winning. I just wondering did you actually start betting with your strategy or is it just paper simulations?
Saving your earnings seperate from your bankroll is a good approach to avoid going bankrupt and losing all money to start again. I just wonder how much money you made on average per day and how many times did you actually lose your 150 doge coin? Both pattern analysis and martingale are no winning strategy. In the long run the casinos has its house edge. So the longer we play and the more games we have the higher the chances to go bust. Its important to keep the potential winnings in mind compared to the total bankroll. Having a chance to win 20% with the risk of losing it all is not great.
2648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fast place/cancel trades question on: December 17, 2021, 10:13:10 AM
Hello Gurus of trading Smiley

I am curious about the following:
Sometimes, I notice that a trade is placed in the orderbook and then the next second is canceled, then placed again etc and the process repeats.

Obviously this is a bot, but what is the point of this?  Is this a trading strategy?

Yes this is a trading strategy by bots that try to influence the market price and trade against it. I am not an expert on this, but I remember the story of the flash crash in 2010 where a single trader from the suburbs of London managed to destroy trading in 30 minutes. Very interesting story I can recommend watching a documentary about it. He basically created millions of buy and sell orders through his bot but cancelled them before they get executed. This is very risky if you don't have the best equipment and technology. Also the exchange might block you if they find your actions harmful.
2649  Economy / Economics / Re: Robert Kiyosaki expects a market crash and economic crisis - do you believe it? on: December 17, 2021, 10:05:33 AM

Do you think that a market crash similar to 2008 is indeed coming? If yes, then why? What are the indicators your follow to predict the market in general? Let's assume the crash is indeed coming then how would you like to prepare against it?

Let's discuss!

Predicting the next financial crisis is very hard, because we not only need to identify the area where the crash is coming from but also the timing. We could be right about the crash but be 2 years too early with our prediction, if we position our whole portfolio for a crash might lose money until the crash actually happens.
I don't believe that there is crash coming any time soon. We have been in this covid mess for 2 years now and the crash didn't happen. The covid recovery should have a positive impact on the economy. However I could be wrong, so having assets like gold, silver and crypto currencies would be good to protect us from a crash. Another investment that makes sense is real estate. If we own the apartment we live in than a crash will hurt us not as bad. Saving the monthly rent payments is helping a lot on difficult times.
2650  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Bitcoin vs. Alts 2021 on: December 17, 2021, 09:38:56 AM
2651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I had bought bitcoin 10 years ago, I would have been a millionaire: Not true on: December 17, 2021, 09:18:35 AM
The reality is that they would not have been able to hold for so long even if they bought 10 years ago. Very few have the patience to wait till 100x or more. Most of the investors will be sold at the idea of 2x or 3x itself. Some of the people that were able to hold for so long were those who had invested and then completely forgot about it. There is one more category of people who had complete trust on BTC and thus they stick with it for years.

Exactly my problem when I first started out with bitcoins. That was 5 and not 10 years ago but unfortunately I also got blindsided by the short term profits of Bitcoin's. Back in the days I used bitcoins a lot to buy and sell CSGO skins, but when I had enough of trading skins and I wanted to collect all my profits I did the same with bitcoins. This was my biggest investment mistake I ever made selling all my coins. At the time it was a nice profit and I felt very happy, but comparing it to today's prices it was a big mistake.
2652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Scripts on: December 17, 2021, 09:12:50 AM
Hello guys, I just wanted to ask as newbie if that dice scripts are really worth it? If all are just scams or there are really some scripts that work? Thank you for information.

What kind of scripts do you mean? The automated dice betting directly at the casino or a private developed script? The betting automaton at a casino are definitely not a scam, they are save to use. As for privately sold scripts online it's hard to say. I would expect that there are atleast some scammers trying to make easy money from unexperienced gamblers. Like in every area of the Internet we should be cautious.
2653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still makes you rich or end of trend? on: December 16, 2021, 09:08:52 AM
Once people was crazy about meme coin. After publishing lots of article, videos Against meme coins as cautioins, and after knowing that such step would be risky but they keep invested on such coins for earn quick money. Doge was pumped after elon tweet but dump again. now it seems people are more careful than before and most of memcoins got flop. so holding meme coins still make you rich or soon it'll be end of meme trend?

I wonder how many people actually managed to get rich with meme coins? Many people here on the forum own some meme coins and probably made a decent profit it this year. But I would expect that many investors are like me and only held a small amount in meme coins. Elon Musk made good money with doge coin, but what about all the reddit traders who bought into the hype? The HODL strategy of meme coins might look nice to your fellow traders, getting rich of it might be very hard. I don't think the meme coin hype is completely over it just gets harder to profit of it.
2654  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I not lose money in trading cryptocurrency? on: December 16, 2021, 09:00:54 AM
To what i think on my own view i don't know if i can get more knowledge and understanding to this.
You just have to understand the market, you need to be able to study and know when it’s a right time for you to invest and withdraw your crypto currency. And also remember only invest money you know you can make back even if you lose the money.

Having a good understand about the project you invest in is very important, but we also need to be aware that there is a lot of market risk involved. If bitcoins are going to drop in price so are most of the other crypto coins. There is a strong correlation between cryptos, similar to the stock market. That is why we need to define a certain risk limit we are willing to lose. For example saying we comfortable to lose 20% of our coin portfolio gives us some room to work with. Let's say our coins drop 10% then we need to decide if this is just a temporary drop and it will likely bounce back or if our views of the coins changed. Stop loss orders can help in such cases. We just need decide if a price drop is permanent or temporary since most crypto coins move in cycles.
2655  Economy / Economics / Re: This why wall street are rich and you are poor on: December 16, 2021, 08:45:54 AM
You are right that Wallstreet uses a lot of leverage to boost its returns to exceptional high levels. But I wouldn't recommend to do the same for the average investor. Sure we could also increase our returns, at the cost of increasing our risk. There can always go something wrong and leverage means that we could lose more money than we own. Being in debt can be a downward spiral.
In my opinion the reason why Wallstreet is so successful is not leverage but rather the access to the best technology and hardware. Wallstreet has the closest server to the exchange, the fastest Internet and the best support. The average investor can't compete against that.
2656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin capable to recover from Financial Crisis? on: December 16, 2021, 08:40:21 AM

But in spite of all these, Is it really capable to recover us from Financial Crisis?

I think yes, bitcoins offer a lot of benefits during crisis that we might not get from local banks. Financial crisis is usually an inefficiency in the financial markets that the government or big banks try to cover up. But markets like to regulate itself so its just a matter of time until it becomes a national and a global crisis. Once a crisis is affecting the whole world it can take down many banks leaving all the savings accounts hanging. Being invested in bitcoins and other crypto currencies makes us independent from the local financial system.
2657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know the Cards game..lucky nine, pusoy and tong its on: December 16, 2021, 08:04:21 AM

How about you do know this game? Do you play also tong its ,pusoy, lucky nine and etc in online games? Do you do gambling here or not?

Never heard about any of these 3 games  Cheesy I know that there are many card games out there which are played around the world and have different names. Maybe you could explain a little these games? If they are competitive card games than maybe casinos could pick them up. The beauty about poker is that the rules and the name is the same all around the world. So when two people from different continents meet and don't speak any common language they could atleast play poker together.
2658  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: need verified pokerstars account on: December 15, 2021, 03:55:57 PM
hello if you guys have a verified pokerstars account you want to sell i'm intrested
name your price and country   with telegram/skype information and will contact you back or pm me here

I have an old pokerstars account that I don't really use anymore. In my opinion GGPoker and partypoker are better sites, that's atleast where I am keeping my bankroll. Not sure if it's even legal to sell the accounts since we need to verify our self's. Do you only need the account for a specific tournament or permanently? I don't want to get banned by pokerstars.
2659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learn to laugh even if Bitcoin is crashing on: December 14, 2021, 01:08:11 PM
It's good to take life with a bit of Humor. Being all serious and taking things very personal is not the best approach to investing. A general market downward trend is hard to avoid. Selling bitcoins and buying alt coins wouldn't have protected us from the drop. It's not wrong investment decision. If we realise that it's out of our hands than joking about it is natural. It helps to make it less painful for us and reminds us that it's just temporary.
