Did you forgot to add me on the list or did I do something wrong?

You need 10+ merit to participate. People create new accounts just so they can add several guesses...
282  Economy / Speculation / Re: NEW BAKKT game on: December 14, 2018, 01:38:47 PM
My guess $ 3,450

It's my inner voice

Your inner voice didn't read the rules. $3,490 is the minimum guess, and it's already taken. Wink
283  Economy / Speculation / Re: NEW BAKKT game on: December 13, 2018, 03:08:23 PM
Awesome, let's try..

$3141
Read the rules thats a dead guess....

Be fast and change your number.....
List almost closing

What do you mean he did a "dead guess"? He gave a lower price than the lowest but on the 1st post I didn't notice any rule about it, was a rule added in another post and I've missed it?
In any case, you've registered my guess, I'm just curious about cryptofrka's guess! Tongue

Dude, I already explained it once to you. We are guessing the highest price during the game period (from topic start to 17 days after BAKKT launch).

If the price stays flat or goes lower, the highest will be $3490 making Spaceman_Spiff_Original the winner. If it is higher in the next two months, somebody guessing higher than him will win.

Anyone guessing lower than $3490, has already lost...

Triangle is old news. The question is: where we're now?

I'll tell you in six months Wink

Speaking of... my favorite 24-hour average and two parallel lines:

Two random parallel lines? Or is there a reason why certain price extremes were disregarded while others were not?
286  Economy / Speculation / Re: NEW BAKKT game on: December 12, 2018, 01:48:16 PM
2500 USD please, and Zalig Kerstfeest en Gelukkig nieuw jaar!

Read the rules. The highest price form topic start to 17 days after BAKKT launch (or Dec 31st 2019 if it doesn't launch), not the price on that exact date.

So you already lost. Pick something over $3450 Wink
287  Economy / Speculation / Re: NEW BAKKT game on: December 12, 2018, 11:16:59 AM
3390    PoolMinor
3499    stelee68
...

from NOW price put on the list is irreversible

only icygreen still have to put a valid price.... can't put in something that wasn't live from the start

LIST UPDATE

Weeee, we already have a loser. Bye bye, PoolMinor... You pessimist Tongue
288  Economy / Speculation / Re: NEW BAKKT game on: December 11, 2018, 03:55:09 PM
As of right now any price under $3390 (10:37 UTC) has already lost...

yeah THX price of creating the list was @ 3390$?

$3390 (today at 10:37 UTC) is the highest price since this topic was started (today at 10:23 UTC).

You're welcome Wink
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 11, 2018, 03:23:58 PM

What's this 3340 fucking barrier btw

It's what the man-bear-whale wants to buy your BTCs for Wink

When Bart? I want my lunch money!

A 30 bar Bart on the daily? That would be nice Smiley

Why are we still here? Bitcoin is dead.

Sentimental reasons mainly... Just letting off some steam before we go apply for welfare...

My hunch is that "manipulation" exists to the extent that it pushes the technicals that are most likely over the edge. E.g. if the indicators say sell-off or rally due, there's some twats paying off mass media and cooking the books to push us over the edge. I don't see them actually shifting anything in a direction that wouldn't naturally be possible. Craig for example always seems to announce his horseshit when a market move is due anyways, and then tries to take credit for that. Anything other than that could (and thus probably would) lead whales to cuck each other out of their coins and fiat.

Exactly! But you said it way better than I ever could Wink

Yeah, everyone is dismissing this option and only considering the 'new ATH in 2021', because the last cycle was 4 years long.

Just like they all KNEW that there will be a new ATH at the end of 2014, because 'historicaly the cycles repeat every 7-9 months'...

Wasn't April 2013 largely a Gox mirage? They certainly finished it off single handedly. I rarely see it referred to any more.

Wasn't Dec 2017 largely just a Finex/Tether mirage? Wink
You.... You... Don't say that.

I was just trying to point out that there's a manipulation explanation for every single ATH bubble we've had so far... I don't think it's the whole story, but it's certainly a part of if.

Don't forget, Nov 2013 was just 'Willy Bot' going crazy Wink

Hm... let me see... if the price would be 7550$ then the 0.115 BTC reward would be 868.25$? I like that!

So my guess is 7550$ !

Also a note about the rules: You say we'll take into account the price on the 17th day after the launch, but Bitcoin doesn't have market hours and close-price, how will we determine the price, especially if the volatility is sky-high? Also which platform's price will we take into account? With predictions being close to each other we need to have a clear timestamp and price.

I'd suggest this site: ....

Let us also call a specific timezone, by default the above mentioned site shows your local timezone.

The rules are clear:
- the highest price from the start of the topic up to the 17th day after the BAKKT launch date at 12:00 CET (Central European Time). If all is on schedule for 24th Jan 2019 then that would be 10th Feb 2019 at 12:00 CET (11:00 UTC, AM of course).
- not the price at that exact time, but the highest price of an actual trade made from topic start until then.
- Bitstamp price
298  Economy / Speculation / Re: NEW BAKKT game on: December 11, 2018, 11:02:22 AM
$7,215

so we're post that?

I still don't reckon we're there myself. There needs to be a proper titty trembling moment.

The last bubble's low was such a shocker because up until then everyone was adamant it could never go below its previous ATH. In the end it was over $100 lower than $266.

This time around I think the ultimate shocker would be a return to three figures.
I honestly don't know if those prices are possible except for a dump and a spike crash. The amount of people who know about Bitcoin is just so much higher.

I honestly hope we've grown past that. But on the other side we do still have Ver, Jihan and Wright as major players. So I wouldn't rule out anything...
