281  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who is the winner of World Cup 2014 on: July 10, 2014, 01:32:58 PM
If Germany play like they did the last game then Argentina will get destroyed. Argentina have been pretty boring throughout the tournament and especially in the last game. I'm really looking forward to the third place play off now. I think Holland will beat them comfortably too.
282  Other / Off-topic / Re: The N Word Prank on: July 10, 2014, 01:30:57 PM
i hate it how (and i speak from experience) that if you call a black person a N word then they get all defensive and its racist but if you call a white person a cracker then its cool and it's just a nickname.

Cracker is offensive and most people would get pretty pissed off if a non-white said it to you, but I don't think you can compare the words. Does the word Cracker have over 200 years of enslavement and murder behind it?

I never understood why black people call each other niggers and get angry if a white guy says it.

How can you not understand it? And probably the majority of black people tend not to be ok with anybody saying it.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Islamic State Really Using Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2014, 01:19:29 PM

answer to topic question:
someone or more then one in every country is using bitcoin, but the ISIS bitcoin propaganda only began by words of a single blogger writing a paragraph on a website. not provable words or speeches of a militia

I wonder if it is just propoganda? Is the blog 100% a genuine ISIS affiliated site? Anyone can create a blog or website and start peddling their fud. IT wouldn't surprise me if this was just someone with an agenda against bitcoin.
284  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular Bitcoin Game! | 700M+ Bets | 390k+ BTC Wagered | on: July 10, 2014, 01:17:18 PM
Many people say gambling is just luck. But it isnt just luck! There are techniques of guessing what should come next (above or under) The script calculates the probability of the next roll. It analyzes the last 100 rolls! Sure, you can never give a guarantee that its right, but you can increase your probability of winning! Also the script isnt using martingale, as we all know that martingale is bullshit.

Martingale is not bullshit if you apply it cleverly (not necessarily doubling your bets with each roll). I guess (lol) you assume that the faucet remembers previous rolls too and levels out the chosen probability (payout multiplier) with the next ones, i.e. after a series of consecutive losing rolls (that would skew the probability) should necessarily come winning ones, right? Grin
Is bullshit ,trust me you can lost all your money very easy is just a time question  Wink

Yes but surely you can say that about all gambling? Doesn't matter what system or what you're betting you can still lose all your money very easily. Obviously there's no guaranteed method to win money with gambling, and Martingale is no different, but it's usually safer if you just make a couple of bets but keep playing and you'll lose eventually.
285  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-07-09] Supporter Of Extremist Group ISIS Explains How Bitcoin Could Be Use on: July 10, 2014, 08:24:12 AM
Does anyone think that this could be propaganda? Is the blog actually 100% a Jihadi website. I'm sure I read that they have been set up  before by people in western governments just to spread their agenda. Obviously the powers that be are worried about bitcoin and what better way to tarnish it than associating it with terrorism, drugs and peadophillia.

This is a serious escalation in the threat to bit coins existence. If the mudahagin talk of using the crypto currency to buy arms and supplies for their jihad or proclaim that the coinage will be the Islamic States first choice of currency then is just the pretext worldwide governments need to close down the bit coin servers.

Bit coin servers? Hello, paging Prof. Bitcorn! You seem to have misunderstood the topic and think it can be shutdown like Napster. This is bitcoin, the bit-torrent of currency and contracts. Shutting down the internet would be easier.

Bitcoin servers lol. Not sure if troll.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me atleast 3 reason why someone should hate Bitcoin Foundation? on: July 10, 2014, 08:18:24 AM
Because it's centralised
Because we didn't vote for them nor do they represent us
Because you seem to be able to buy your way into it if you have enough money.

I'm not sure wether they'll do more harm than good in the long run.
287  Other / Off-topic / Re: Argentina vs Netherlands on: July 09, 2014, 06:05:22 PM
Im with argentina too, i dont think the dutch can make goals, against costa rica did nothing.

Argentina haven't exactly been enthralling in any of there games. Only won by a goal in each of them and most of them were 1-0 victories. The team is Messi really. If Holland smother him there's nothing much he can do. Give him space and he'll annihilate any defenders in his path.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Addresses Need to Go on: July 09, 2014, 06:00:23 PM
If you can't use your eyes + copy and paste you probably shouldn't be using money in the first place.
Exactly. Because copy + paste is so hard that we need to completely throw away addresses.
Please. Stop being lazy.
The blog is bad.

It's not neccesarily people being lazy, but there are other disadvantages to having these long gobbledygook addresses. If you're out an about and someone asks you for your address it's not like you could just tell them it off the top of your head, so that's why I think we need some alternative way to shorten or make the addresses more memorable.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Auction winner Tim draper says "Investors should have btc in their portfolio" on: July 09, 2014, 05:57:39 PM
I agree with him. I think any investor who is smart or knows what they're doing would at least by a couple of coins, preferably a lot more. The potential is there for anyone with half a brain to see it could probably turn into a ridiculous investment over time. In fact, I'd say it's probably currently one of *the* greatest investments you could make right now.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Phishing on: July 09, 2014, 05:55:37 PM
Why are you even asking? Obviously a scam of some sort, unless you have lost a wallet with 100btc in it?
291  Other / Off-topic / Re: Argentina vs Netherlands on: July 09, 2014, 05:53:10 PM
I'm not really bothered who wins though I have taken a liking to Holland over this tournament. Whatever happens the runners up game will be a good watch too. Brazil won't wont to suffer another embarrasment so will hopefully step up their game, though they're bound to be demoralized so it could go either way. Exciting whatever happens.

did you fill in the google documents enrollment form? when you've submitted it click the submit button again until you've essentially entered it twice, then you should be enrolled.
293  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 09, 2014, 05:26:54 PM
How do i know i´m in?

As you'll be put on the list when Stunna updates it next. It seems as though if you submit the form again after you fill it in the first time that's what is required for you to be sucsefully enrolled. Did you do that?
294  Other / Off-topic / Re: Argentina vs Netherlands on: July 09, 2014, 05:22:42 PM
I actually think Holland have the stronger side or squad but Argentina have Messi, though Robben at his best seems almost as good. Both players seem to be able to run with the ball stuck to their feet. I think tonights game will be close though. I'm thinking 2-1 either way.
295  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular Bitcoin Game! | 700M+ Bets | 390k+ BTC Wagered | on: July 09, 2014, 05:15:37 PM
They have a maximum bet for this exact reason. It's been stated or will state on the site somewhere. Don't worry, PD can pay there bets.
296  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 09, 2014, 05:12:09 PM
I think that's how it works or has done in the past. Would be a bit of a hassle trying to remember which posts you made under each member group so it's easier this way.
297  Other / Off-topic / Re: The N Word Prank on: July 09, 2014, 05:08:58 PM
Romanatwood is amazing, I really like the 'Stealing gas prank' he need to have big ballz to do such prank in the hood  Grin

That's one of the ones where he gets roughed up a little. I think my favourite is the Drive By Shooting Prank. Some of the ones with Vitaly are great too.
298  Other / New forum software / Re: Option to block TOR IPs / IPs outside of Country / Account login history on: July 09, 2014, 05:03:57 PM
The things that have been suggested here sound like a lot of the features which blockchain.info has, which is a good idea. I think the forum could look at how they deal with security and take a few pointers. I'm sure if people set up two factor it will cut down on all the accounts being hacked, though obviously not everyone will use it. The only time I ever see people getting their blockchain account emptied is when they haven't set up this.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Addresses Need to Go on: July 09, 2014, 04:58:21 PM
I'm sure there will be wallets that will come out where we can have shortened addresses for our longer addresses or maybe being able to send money directly to our wallets via something else linked to the account like a mobile number or something. As mentioned above QR codes also help, but I think there needs to be a simpler way of remembering your account.
300  Economy / Economics / Re: Why does acceptance of Bitcoin has to do with the price of Bitcoin? on: July 09, 2014, 03:33:05 PM

Bingo. It's a classic model. The more people that get involved with bitcoin the rarer it becomes, especially with only a fixed amount being created. This is what makes the future of btc very exciting if the demand dwarfs the supply. Who knows where it could go or end up, especially if it takes off in the mainstream.,
