201  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-09-20] 24 Signs You’re Obsessed with Bitcoin on: September 22, 2014, 12:55:15 PM
Guilty of these:

1. You check the price within five minutes of waking up
5. You feel a sense of pride whenever you convince someone to embrace digital currencies
6. You daydream about what life will be like once you can use bitcoin to buy everything you need
8. You’re not fazed by price swings anymore, and ‘bad news’ no longer sets you off in an immediate panic
202  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Legit Bulk Amazon accounts with balance @ 80 % on: September 22, 2014, 12:47:51 PM
I have found that my starbucks supplier was scamming me and selling me carded cards, but these amazon accounts are without any single problem, some guys have used it to order and everything went very ok and I won't sell something I got a single problem.

But you'll probably be saying this about these cards a month from now. Just think about it. You have no idea where the guy you are buying them off is getting them from and they may be working now but once the person they've been carded from finds out they'll soon go the same way your Starbucks cards went.

Yes you are right, cannot make out any of their tattoos  Roll Eyes.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Scotland’s currency be bitcoin? on: September 18, 2014, 05:28:20 PM
IT would be a nice idea but it's not going to happen. Maybe a cryptocurrency will become the defact currency of a smaller nation but Scotland is too large to experiment with bitcoin at this moment in time. Besides, they'll either just keep the pound, create their own or join the euro.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we prevent similar tragedies in the future? on: September 18, 2014, 05:25:29 PM

Want to know how to stop these scammers? Don't give your money to ponzis? Problem solved. They'd go away if nobody "invested" in them.
206  Economy / Services / Re: Cloudbet Signature Campaign will end on September 16 on: September 18, 2014, 05:19:52 PM
I just received payment, thanks, however I received 0.06btc which is the Full Member payout whereas I was signed up as a Sr member (see your own updated post on the first page)

I would appreciate being paid the missing 0.06, I am sure this was just a mistake and that you will address this shortly

Thanks

Same situation for me. Seems like a few members got paid half of what they should. I am marked down as a Snr on your list.

My address is 1BboFVHxkocfZHSEwvwG8NkqJRve7qwVeP

Thanks.

Can I reserve a spot? I'm just waiting for my payment from Cloudbet which should be sometime today? If so:

I can add the signature as soon as I receive payment from Cloudbet. Thanks.
208  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 100$ in less than 24 hours! on: September 14, 2014, 11:43:52 AM

I didn't get a single pm from any hero members! Please there is someone that want to review it ?

Send it to a couple a Snr that has offered to vouch then. Most Heros don't care for giving vouchers to such ebooks.
You are a hater! Would you vow that you will post a unpartial review without spoilering the method?
[/quote]

A hater is what someone calls someone else just because they have a differing opinion to someone or are sceptical of their claims. I have no interest in reading or trying out your method. I've seen them all before and they're usually always not what they promise. Give one to the guy that already offered to do a vouch review.
209  Economy / Lending / Re: Full Member needs to loan 0.025BTC %15 rate for 7 days. (NO Collateral) on: September 14, 2014, 11:35:23 AM
I'm not really doubting the Silverfox loan but the other ones. It's those that look like shills to me.
210  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 100$ in less than 24 hours! on: September 14, 2014, 11:33:15 AM
I don't think the guy selling it is impartial or should be trusted as to wether this is indeed 'legit'. Sure sometimes there is ways to make money from these things, but most of the time they're shady or you have to put in quite a lot of work. Just another get rich quick scheme probably at the end of the day. Lets see what some impartial vouches say.
YOU WON'T BE RICH!

Well this is true of any and all get rich quick schemes lol. I'm sure there are many ways to make $100 in less than 24 hours but that doesn't mean someone should be paying for something like this.

211  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Teen in Pennsylvania sentenced to two years for deep-throating Jesus on: September 14, 2014, 11:27:56 AM

He better be glad it's just Christians calling for a jail sentence.

If this had been a statue of Mohammed there would be a couple of Billion Muslims calling for his death.

~BCX~

Well making statues or images of Mohammed would be against their beliefs anyway so you're unlikely to see that, but what's the relevance here? You're comparing people who behaving irrationally to other people who behave even more irrationally as if that somehow justifies it. Christians need to get over themselves and so do Muslims and anyone else who gets offended by such instances of 'disrespect'.

If a bunch of christians or jews or muslims or any other religious peoples decide to desecrate atheist bill boards you better not make a sound.

Who said I was an atheist? And people are free to complain and cry all they want, but they can't or shouldn't be able to do fuck all about it other than whinge and whine. Meanwhile any rational people will just pity and mock them for being so sensitive and butthurt about a joke which they obviously can't take. Feel free to deepthroat any deity or person or billboard all you want and I wouldn't care.

213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Winklevoss COIN ETF to push price above 10,000 on: September 14, 2014, 11:17:48 AM
It's not going to have much effect on the price, maybe a little spike, but not by 10k. Is there any further details on when they plan to release it? End of the year is pretty vague, and is that from the Winklevi themselves?
214  Economy / Lending / Re: Full Member needs to loan 0.025BTC %15 rate for 7 days. (NO Collateral) on: September 14, 2014, 11:15:05 AM
Still can be shills accounts and trabsactions. Where did the loans take place? On the forum? Links to evidence of discussions on that? Newbs don't normally just go around lending money freely.
215  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-08-14] Is The Paypal/Braintree Deal Good For Bitcoin on: September 14, 2014, 11:07:52 AM
Me: So how much of a pain in the ass was it to deal with Paypal on this bitcoin issue?
Braintree Employee: Not at all. We told them that we wanted to do it and they pretty much just said go for it.

So, if that is true, Paypal was neither an impetus, nor a hindrance, for this decision.

They're probably just really interested to see how it could work and it's a safe experiment for them. If all goes smoothly hopefully they'll take the plunge and implement it directly into Paypal somehow.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Power Company Tip Leads to Bitcoin Mining Raid on: September 14, 2014, 11:04:37 AM
I'd be so pissed if they broke into my house with loaded weapons simply because the electric company gave them a "tip".    Those rat bastards got their money for the bill but then ratted him out.  It isn't their job to report electricity use to the police, their not cops, that guy should be suing them and the cops.  Cops are to lazy to do any kind of investigation and just kick in doors from miscellaneous tips.  What did they find computers and some weed, tax dollars well spent I'd say.

I agree they should've collected more evidence before going in, because is a large electricity bill really proof of guilt of anything? In this case, obviously it wasnt.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We could position Bitcoin as a currency for Kids on: September 14, 2014, 11:01:55 AM
I'm not sure we should be specifically targeting children to be honest. Bitcoin has both pluses and negatives for kids, but kids in the uk can still get a debit card pretty young which you can't spend more than you have in there.

219  Economy / Lending / Re: legit loan request on: September 14, 2014, 10:49:12 AM
i understand that its alot to trust with someone. theres not much to say, my heater core stopped functioning and the hose came off and i had no idea until it was too late burned the water pump and blew a head gasket. simple as that if anyone is willing to help it would be greatly appreciated im not going anywhere man lol im simply asking the help of this fine community and members i know if i had the btc to give some of the more honest people on this forum i totally would. to each their own i guess?

Take a picture or provide some evidence of this problem and maybe someone will sympathize with you, but without any documented evidence this just seems like just another sob story here which there are many of regardless of whether it is true or not. People say all sorts of things here to try get a loan but without collateral they all have one thing in common and that's they wont get filled.
220  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a loan on: September 14, 2014, 10:45:58 AM
Hey there Penner, thanks for the reply. I'm seeing that term used more and more since coming back to the forums. What is considered valid collateral? Forum's become a different animal since I last left it.

-Logan

That's because of the amount of scammers here now. You wont get a loan of this amount without collateral equal or above to the loan you're after so it's pretty pointless to be honest. Also barely having made any posts since May will arouse peoples suspicions into loaning to you.
