Ultimately I'll tell you why they arent on here 24/7....cause they are building a real product, a real company and have to meet a lot of real people. This isn't some guy making a clone in his bedroom and trading to pump his premine up...ie 95% of crypto.

Which is why we shouldn't bother them too much with requests. I completely trust the team, what they have come out withy recently surpasses any requests people have asked for. I think its dangerous to put pressure on the team about various features, best let them get on with their vision. I have seen a couple of decisions so far been influenced by opinon like focus on Android not iOS and move to Telegram rather than use own messenger......I don't want to get into what would of been better or worse but I do believe the dev team don't work in a vacuum so outside influences change and affect decision making how could they not..... for good or bad.

Definitely people should put forward good ideas in a casual way but don't push too hard for features that possibly don't facilitate the bigger goals of the project.

Interesting coin....my spidey senses are tingling on this one.

Any success of Paykey will feed into the getgems token AND app, I don't see why that is hard to understand?

Plus the Getgems app is pretty much finished....of course it will keep developing but I mean apart from the advertising/attention model which has already been discussed as not much point until the app reaches a much larger user base.


Put simply its all good.....why the worry and moaning from this thread all of a sudden....especially when the app really is starting to work great.

While we don't get much overt FUD I'm sure kj15 is trying his best to do a subtle 'oh this isn't ethical' form of it.



As someone who followed this project for the start it's 100% BS and so personally I would say don't bother answering them, they aren't trying to understand, as answers have been given. This project has been above board, devs names have been public, everything is what it is with full transparency.


And hey if they keep on then enjoy it and get the cheap coins cause once a few million download Paykey no FUD in the world will matter.

Nail meet head. this is exactly what I have been saying from the start with Getgems. The whole point is this project goes outside the crypto scene which for alts is tiny, even Bitcoin is pretty small. Maybe it's cause I did a year of pre college level economics (which I hated) where you study tons of Price/Supply/Demand graphs, you get to understand why something has value and how the factors interact, ie economics 101. So I think the crypto community does have some role is validating a coin before it moves wider but actually getgems leap frogs this mainly straight to newbie users of crypto. So just using an example, coins like say NXT could be the most awesome coin in the world but if it only gets used by 10,000 alts coin hoarders it will never ever grow into a billion dollar marketcap. Why do you think we don't get much fUD here?


All getgems have to focus on it the user friendliness of the app and decreasing 'friction' for new users (which they are) Daniel and the team get this 100%. Of course there needs to be a way for users to buy gems, but if we get millions of users then actually that isn't a problem as a third party would step in BUT sure I trust the team is thinking how purchases can be made. But also don't forget you are making a micro economy of gems by giving gems to Getgem users and I expect Paykey users, so they will have gems which they will see have value and can be used to buy something.....and of course the person selling something then recieve gems and then so an economy is formed with demand, supply, price and market dynamics etc. This is even before you mention the attention model which I think the team will still have a focus cause it's actually a massive selling point of paykey and getgems and potential revenue fpr the team and users ie. Advertising.


My only nagging question is if paykey brings in millions of users who become familiar with gems I would love to see a standalone getgems app that was 100% a getgems app, not relying on Telegram. I think it makes clearer the project cause later people will see gems used on all platforms then one hooked up to only Telegram, it muddies the water IMO. And makes everything about getgems and paykey kind of look parasitic being on top of other platforms rather than its own app. A standalone communicates this is THE getgems messenger app....and the paykey is a separate use across all platforms. For now though if it's not broken don't fix it and take advantage of Telegram...but later I hope we don't need them.

I was looking at how many social platforms that could use this app, its crazy but Paykey could literately own global payments if they can block copycat
 products. Almost the whole internet is walled now which could in theory use paykey. Sites like Pin-interest, forums, VK (290 million users), any blog that has a message element. Youtube? not sure if you can message as I don't have an account. All the dating apps etc etc.....Paykey could become the way people use the internet and money completely.....Maybe even if they got the users major commerce sites would accept it even like Ebay, or any online store.



If Paykey can line up the ducks of the getting the tech working. And they can block competition to some extent or at least own much of the market then actually the potential for it is so big maybe even followers might not of even grasped it. Of course we need users but if the tech works the market is there to take.

And you are completely and utterly wrong and I'm sure have a completely different opinion about paykey than 99% of gemz holders. How possibly could you be against a project that gives massive potential to the gemz you hold? You must want cheaper prices, basic FUD and a sign the team is doing something great here.


You are wrong cause so many coins like say NXt when they have an additional project (admittedly from a third party) usually does an ICO and grabs a ton of money for the extra project, same with eth and most coins. Getgems has done this with their budget from crowd-sale, venture capital and competition winnings. I for one am very happy gems will be used....only a fudder wouldnt.

Gems can be used in so many ways in paykey to attract users etc but I'm just happy it will be a payment option along for the fiat ride....... I think the reason any app is popular is solves a problem.


As Daniel said in recent competition, many people use a few social media platforms and mobile payments is a massively growing industry....so if you are the only option to pay in all your social media platforms that is a massive selling point. Otherwise you will have to hook up your bank to all your different apps. Paykey, one bank hook up all platforms...simple and and will be wanted.


Imagine it as a kind of Paypal that can make payments through a text message inside any app....basically there is nothing like it now. To say this could be a billion dollar company is conservative. I expect companies like FB might at some point want to buy them out. I mean who these days wants to put credit cards in multiple sites....people want to click paypal and do it, same with Paykey....but much much better.  



*And just incase you think well I only use FB why bother with all this. I teach Korean youth and they use at least 3 social media apps, and they all are moving into payments. e.g Kakoatalk, Instagram, FB...and that's basics.......many use more. Now you can see why banks want in on this.

Even before you look at complex opportunities, simply being able to pay cross social network platforms with its patented paykey makes it potentially a billion dollar company.

How could something that provides a service and ask nothing of you as holder of gems be on the take?


of course this is business and if they provide a service people want it and charge .5% to send money across social networks then what's the scam? If no one ever tried to provide a service competively then we would all be living in a cave hunting and gathering. 

Even if the only news was 27% monthly adoption I would be excited, with everything else especially PayKey I'm crazily excited. I also have questions and will wait for the question time. I hope the team focuses on the essentials now and gets PayKey out in the wild ASAP....my hunch is its gonna be huge.

I am glad Daniel has this viewpoint. I personally think its not incompatible with making money for yourself. People have very negative views of Capitalism (confusing it with crony capitalism) but personally I find many business people, some in my family don't actually focus on money but focus on achieving goals and achieving success rather than just money. I feel the same for crypto personally, Bitcoin for me is a way to financially secure myself away from the fiat corrupt system but I also ideologically believe in Bitcoin, I don't see the things as mutually incompatible.

Ok, I'll personally tone it down. Though I don't think the ultimate success of PAYKEY will be based on the relatively tiny crypto trading community at all personally. I'll respect another viewpoint though.


The real problem is the sick state of this forum and crypto community (some) who assumes everything is a scam or a hype. You simply can't talk about a coin these days.
