281  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum server question on: March 05, 2016, 06:13:33 PM
Does the electrum server i connect to see's all the addresses in my wallet (currently generated+ change address), even if they didnt had a transaction?

Yes, as explained above, electrum sends the request to update the balance of all the address in a wallet, this is what sync does, so server does knows all the addresses of a wallet. And maybe some of the servers do keep logs, there's no way to know for sure whether they do or not, I think this might be the reason why during a privacy rating review recently, electrum had a very low rating as far as privacy is concerned.
282  Economy / Speculation / Re: You got screwed once again on: March 05, 2016, 06:00:22 PM
I don't know how will this code fixing be done but for sure this dump have nothing to do with it.
This is normal few weeks rise then few weeks falling..Predictable.
If we  see 100$ then you can start to panic.

Just saw couple of more threads like this and I get their motive now, anytime price drops even just a little, Bitcoin core is going to be blamed and more fud is going to be spread.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 05, 2016, 05:45:13 PM
Don't know why but for some reason I chose Zimbabweans for the victory today and they did but what do you guys think about tomorrow's matches.. Can Ban defeat India? And can Aus defeat SA?

In other news, I just saw this on twitter: Pakistani Man Loses Bet On T20 Match, Commits Suicide  Shocked

Tl;dr: Bet only as much as you can afford to lose.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asia Cup T20 cricket matches discussions and predictions on: March 04, 2016, 03:25:14 PM
151 runs is really huge target for Pakistan it has very poor batting line because top order got failed in all matches consistently so that Sri Lanka will get it under pressure easily and will win this match.

I agree, too bad I had them in a parlay but its not over until its over, so let's see if they can win a match for their reputation, which is really down atm.
285  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Escrow Partner got tricked on: March 04, 2016, 02:58:04 PM

So, you're trying to say someone sent a fake email to both you and the escrower to release escrow before deal was complete? Not sure I follow.

If that email is legit (check the message headers) then someone did indeed hack your account.

I think he's talking about the notification email, which one gets to their registered email address when they receive a PM.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 0.001 BTC to 1 BTC Challenge [sports betting] on: March 04, 2016, 02:52:42 PM
Winning 1 BTC from 0.001 ?? I don't think so, not possible, even the best sports bettors can't do this. To make 1 BTC one would atleast need 0.1 according to me.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Today's parlay. The odds is 4.66 and I've put $2 ( btc equivalent) on it on: March 04, 2016, 02:47:23 PM
Looks safe enough and odds are certainly better but one can never be sure of parlays, there's always something unexpected. GL to you but I don't bet on this sport.

Also, you might want to keep one thread for all your predictions, making a new one every time can get you banned.
288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i just managed to make 75 $ on: March 04, 2016, 02:23:13 PM
thats the largest i have ever managed to make in such a short amount of time.
Like every tom, dick and harry i want to make some more money. I buffed a few of my other investments so i have around 50$ to invest. Any good ideas ?

I say do whatever you were doing that made you $75 in the first place. Don't want to recommend anything because nothing is safe as far as BTC investments are concerned.
289  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★BetBTC - Bitcoin Sports Betting | More Sports | Instant Payments | Like Betfair on: March 04, 2016, 02:01:11 PM
Is it a possible to have a chat for users on the site? I see a lot of active users now all the time and a little chat where they can discuss, converse could be good?
290  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you like to be able to buy with BTC online? on: March 03, 2016, 03:50:52 PM
Chaturbate tokens, I know there are so many Bitcoin accepted cam sites but CB is the one I've been a part of from a long time and ever since they stopped accepting BTC, its become a pain in the ass to purchase tokens.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantage of bitcoin debit card? on: March 03, 2016, 03:42:24 PM
Advantage is being able to spend your bitcoins where they're not yet accepted, disadvantage is, you're trusting a company of which you know nothing about with your money.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 15btc transaction fee, big mistake on: March 03, 2016, 03:38:02 PM
Which wallet were they using? I think wallets should have a warning system, if you put in too much fee, they should notify you prior to sending the transaction, that the transaction fee is too high, just like some of them do with low fee.

293  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Egyptian Student Arrested After Facebook Post ‘Threatening Donald Trump’ on: March 03, 2016, 03:26:53 PM
where is the so called usa's speech of freedom? in this world, there will be no speech of freedom even in usa.. everybody can be arrested by fbi or something because of his thoughts.. this is so insane..
You think that there is speech of freedom but not.. if you speak out what the governments want, you wont be arrested .. this is the real truth

Your sayings are so true.. you must say and talk about what the  authorities want..if not you will be a death meat..
Roll Eyes
Freedom of Speech does not mean that you're allowed to post death threats to anyone, let alone to someone who is running for president.
Quote

However, a source in Egypt’s Foreign Ministry confirmed that El Sayed was arrested for posting what authorities believed was a death threat.

And when someone is picked up on terrorist suspicions, it becomes a matter of national security and so called "rights to have an attorney, right to call" etc. are denied.

This kind of remind me of this scene though.  Cheesy
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football pics for today at 3.1 odds. on: March 03, 2016, 02:56:00 PM
GL to you, keep a watch on them as one might ruin the whole, I play parlays as well but these are too many matches for too little odds. Not worth it in my opinion.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: kRAZY Winning Horse Tips For Show...♞♞♞ [W 120/L 38] on: March 03, 2016, 02:31:04 PM
I don't bet on horses that often but you should also include the odds of the horse you're picking, that way it'd be more easy to decide whether its worth betting or not.

Like for this one, odds for placements are only  "Nexius @ 1.44"

Event : Ludlow GB

Start Time : 03/03/2016 10:40

Bet Type : To Be Placed 1 - 3

Your Selection : Nexius

Pick #3
296  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin mixers- do they save data? on: March 02, 2016, 02:49:14 PM
If i'm not mistaking, some mixers (like the one in my sig), are unknown to the authorities... They also claim they don't hold any logs.
But, like being said before, there's no way of being sure.

There's always the option to exchange your coins to a cryptonight coin, send it, and transfer it back to bitcoin in case you don't trust mixers.

They must keep some logs or else how will the bitmixer code work? Which makes sure that a user doesn't gets the coins which he sent to the mixer before.

But having said that I don't think they will share these logs with anyone, they're well reputed and they wouldn't want to do something that might tarnish their reputation.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asia Cup T20 cricket matches discussions and predictions on: March 02, 2016, 02:15:31 PM
Pakistan 28/4 (8.2/20 ov)
This ship is sinking fast, jump ship fast to make a recovery.

If I am not wrong, this was the do or die match, Pakis will be out of the tournament if they lose this one.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Please help - 2 unconfirmed transactions even though fees paid on: March 02, 2016, 01:57:57 PM

This is what I am getting at blockchain.info

Which client are you using OP?

that tx spends an input from this tx which is still unconfirmed. you'll need to wait for the first tx to confirm before the second one does.

the first tx have very low fee so it probably will take a long time to confirm. that is if someone keeps re-broadcasting it.

edit:
oh they're gone.

They're back, Shorena or someone else must've rebroadcasted them. And you're right, this one is the culprit: https://blockchain.info/tx/f01028ede3dfc7e115c390035dc337dc3729ae81f1cc4147ff2786970c447cde

299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TENNIS Match Predictions Thread.....!!!! on: March 02, 2016, 01:55:52 PM
I just checked and found that no big matches are scheduled to be played in tennis. I think the last best match that was there was between Tomic vs Thiem . Anyways I think a player who is slowly rising is Thiem, he certainly has tons of talent !

When is the next major tournament, Wimbledon is in the UK summer but isn't there one more Grand Slam before that?

Next Grand Slam would be Roland Garros aka French Open.

Dates: 22 May - 5 Jun 2016
Venue: Roland Garros
Location: Paris, France

But if you keep checking, you'll find there are various smaller events to bet on, currently these are underway.

Abierto Monterrey
BMW Malaysian Open
300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Make a prediction for April 1st and win a physical coin from Digital Space Post on: March 02, 2016, 01:25:41 PM
What's the actual value of the physical coin and if the winning person decides to, can they get the value of it in Bitcoin instead of it?

April 1st is the Fool's day, this isn't a prank, right?
