Leverage trading is for professional traders because most of traders have loses, not profit by trading. If they have loses, they will have bigger ones by using leverage.

Even you learn a leverage trading course from a professional trader who really earn lots of profit from Leverage tradings, you probably won't be able to practice it so well. However, your loses are not because what you learn is wrong, it is just only you can not practice and control your emotion so well.

Nearly 2 years ago I made a topic about different client types here which is worth mentioning here. I also just edited to make some parts more clear. I think it is a good categorization of all types of bitcoin clients that exist.
I did not know your topic, thank for informing about it today.

It is very old topic and answers can be found in many topics inside my collection.
2826  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it legal to do BitcoinTalk Accounts - Buy Sell Trade ? on: December 09, 2021, 02:54:19 AM
If you don't have shady plans, it is best to start with a newbie account and rank up with merit system by making good posts & contribution.

If you are representative account of a company and have demand to make posts with images, you can buy Copper membership to get both Whitelisting and be able to display images.

Buying or selling account is not prohibited but discouraged. Because most of bought accounts are use to spam in bounties or to scam with new projects.

2830  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tor browser Bitcointalk members read this on: December 08, 2021, 03:15:10 PM
Not good news.

It is how freedom is broken in such countries: China, Russia, Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Cuba, Vietnam. They are controlled by communist parties which claim to be parties for people but unfortunately what they say and what they do are totally different.

Communities always find ways to get out of government control. They can not win against power of community and collective brain of community.
2831  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will there be no more topics to write about? on: December 08, 2021, 02:59:01 PM
Is the possibility of all reasonable possible topics on a subject being exhausted getting realer by the day?
We will have new newbies in crypto and on this forum. So they have free rights to make posts, topics to ask newbie questions. I am sure, questions will be repeatedly asked because most of them don't do searching before asking.

An annoying issue is some of them know questions but try to create non-sense topics to ask, just for hunting merit.

For newbies who don't know how to search, let me invite them to read

Are we going to be seeing more shitty post soon?
There are shit posters and good posters who will mix the forum and badly most of posters are shit posters.

Overally, quality of forum is contributed by good posters and I think they are about 20% or less of all posters (current and inactive or abandoned / passed away members). It matches with Pareto principle and I proved it again in Merit earners & the Pareto principle
Final result:
Once again, we see another good example and usecase of the Pareto principle.  Cheesy
  • The top 20% merit earners have earned 87.8% of total earned merits on the forum.

Code:
     +-----------------------------------+
     |      cat   earned       te   p_te |
     |-----------------------------------|
  1. |  top 20%   595288   678082   87.8 |
  2. | rest 80%    82794   678082   12.2 |

2832  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Source Aplication for Local Board Indonesia- skarais on: December 08, 2021, 02:49:18 PM
I know you for long on this forum but did not know you are from Indonesia.

Your local community is one of most active local ones on the forum and if I am not mistakenly recall, there are a few great members from your local such as joniboni, Husna QA. I know them because they are in or used to be in Chip Mixer campaign.

Kudo, I support your merit source application.

2834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar Cost Averaging Question on: December 06, 2021, 02:37:11 AM
I would advice to do it weekly or even monthly. Every month, you will have bitcoin fall that can be big or small but you can take advantage of such fall to maximize your DCA.

It helps you to save trading fee and to have better entry price. Patience is key, even if you are doing DCA. DCA means you regularly accumulate Bitcoin for your portfolio but it does not mean you should not wait for good price to enter.
2835  Other / Meta / Re: Interesting facts about the merit system on: December 06, 2021, 02:33:11 AM
I thought it was interesting to discuss when I just realized that merit senders are mostly dominated by signature campaign participants [bitcoin payments] compared to bounty campaign participant [token or coin payments]. Check every profile of the Top 200 merit senders in this thread, you know the facts.
Because of two main reasons
  • They are mostly from top merit earners
  • Many of them are merit sources

Quote
This fact does not necessarily prove that there is not a single bounty hunter who does not care about the merit system because I think some of them still care about the quality of posts and the merit system.
There are very little good posters from bounties. I don't say all participants in bounties are shit posters but it is very hard to find good posters amongst thousands of bounty hunters

Bounty managers don't require minimum earned merits to join and they even accept newbies. It is most common reason. You give shit posters chance to join and earn, so why do they have to care about their post quality and merit?
2836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over any other assets and dips don't panic me.... on: December 05, 2021, 03:46:55 PM
Purchasing power of the US. dollar (more details to read)
If you look at price in Yearly Lowest price, that will eliminate ups & downs and gives you better overview on what happen over years. Tell me, what do you see? Bullish or bearish?
40% of US. dollar in circulation was printed in last 2 years. It is good evidence to wipe out all belief in fiat system?

2838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC anonymously on: December 05, 2021, 11:01:36 AM
For using P2P transactions for buying Bitcoin, there are already a lot of ways these days depending on your location, you can use;
https://paxful.com/buy-bitcoin
Paxful is good to use but it requires KYC.

To buy Bitcoin anonymously, the best are Bisq exchange or hodlhodl but volume on Bisq is very low. A better volume on hodlhodl exchange.

2839  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk on mobile phones: A sight for sore eyes on: December 05, 2021, 10:55:29 AM
All these are not advisable in my opinion. The reason is because if you check your above link which is hidden under words, the three mobile options did not include the link, all were in plain words. This will be a means someone can mistakenly skip many such hidden links and missing vital information. Also that the other links are not well displayed
I don't recommend those hidden pages. It is given because of OP question.

Personally, I don't need a mobile application for a text-based forum, to be honest. It will be another burden for my device. In addition, typing text on mobile is painful and if I only in read-only mode on mobile, an application is unnecessary for me.
2840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IF I SEND BTC TO A FRIEND/FAMILY, DOES IT MEAN THEY CAN KNOW MY WALLET BALANCE? on: December 05, 2021, 06:29:19 AM

Practically, to protect your privacy, you should avoid to reuse address. You should use change address and Coin Join transaction. With Wasabi wallet, you have both Coin Join transaction and Tor.
