1841  Economy / Reputation / Re: [INVESTIGATION] tranthidung seems to be doing the same thing Dabs does. on: July 28, 2022, 05:02:17 PM
It's much more useful for the DT-system if you don't get excluded, but also don't include users just because they've left you positive feedback. I can only speculate why you included some of them, but this is what it looks like.
Thank you Loyce but it's done, now I am free to use my trust list when I am not DT1. I remembered after another drama, Hhampuz left DT1 too Smiley

About the discussion in another topic on how many inclusion from DT1 will promote a member to DT2, I think it makes sense. If the threshold for DT2 promotion is 10 ie., no drama with DT1 members and their trust list.  Grin
1842  Economy / Reputation / Re: [INVESTIGATION] tranthidung seems to be doing the same thing Dabs does. on: July 28, 2022, 11:07:01 AM
My trust list
Is anything wrong when I trust people I worked with and all goes smooth ?

Tell me, if excluding me out of DT1 gang, resolve the drama. I don't wait for your opinion to send my DM to theymos. I don't beg theymos to be in DT1 and it is not my dream. Things I have done are what I have done. The community recognize it or not, it is not a matter with me.  Cool

Many drama like this in the past right? Nothing is wrong if a member is not in DT1, and when they are in DT1, you guys look at their trust list, and start drama. You guys make the forum like a circus.  Cheesy

My DMs

In my DM to you and LoyceV and others in that thread, I think I wrote my reasons clearly. In fact, that is my topic and when I created that, I did it without any bad intention to bring troubles to anyone. Then, just recently I thought that something can happen so I deleted all my posts in that topic.

I know things can not be erased entirely on the Internet after it was published. But back in days ago, I did not know how to change title of all posts in my topic and because I thought post titles can be keywords for search engines. That is why I sent DM to some posters in that topic.

Later, Loyce taught me how to do this, so I changed all post titles by myself. So is it fine?

When I received your DM, you instantly asked why I sent that DM. Is it on behalf of other forum members? Can't understand why you thought like this.

Hello everyone I just created an account recently on this site. A friend of mine informed me about this website actually I am interested in cryptocurrency.
Welcome to Bitcointalk forum.

He also earns from this site.
Any earning source for beginners? And what skills should I need to work on this site?
I think you can get some clarifications from the welcome message. Briefly, forum is not an ATM so you can not earn and withdraw money from the forum if you don't contribute anything. Contribution means help other members, provide a service and so on.

I visited my profile I'm seeing My position : Brand New and others things is 0 , I am not Understanding, the Activity ,  Merit , Position , ICQ , AIM , YIM And  trust Can

1844  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Insert Quote vs Source links on: July 28, 2022, 03:32:03 AM
I am just wondering if by referencing and supporting my post, maybe I can use "insert quote" rather posting "source link" like this :
Both are fine.

Quote
By using insert quote, i think you can highlight the text to everyone rather than posting a source link which can be a time consuming to find the quoted text. By the way maybe i am wrong, but is there any difference?
This is the point.
It is not only time saving for readers because readers don't want to spend their time to find and differentiate what is your opinion and what you got from other sources. If you don't clearly use 'Insert quote', you try to trap readers and somewhat unofficially try to make your post like original one with most of content is from yourself. By doing this, it looks like you are trying to hide original authors and what they wrote.
1845  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 28, 2022, 03:25:16 AM
Looks like the bear market has reached the signature campaigns as well.  Embarrassed
Snowball effect is coming but if you look at signature campaigns on the forum in the last bear market, worst has yet come (possibly)
  • Worst might be around if we assume the crypto industry including signature campaign industry has grown after the last bull run.
  • Worst has yet come if we assume the worst should be something like in past bear market

Guys I have a question... is 1 mBTC a normal offer for renting an avatar?

Let's say it's a long-term partnership.
Good enough I think but very few members are available for it. You can also check the rate from Crypto.Games that offer $40 per 4 weeks for both avatar + personal text.
1846  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Overview] Bitcointalk Services from Bitcointalk Members on: July 28, 2022, 12:11:53 AM

As far as I know, he no longer designs.
Yeah I know about SFR10 services but it is reason I skipped them.

I am also renting my signature/avatar/personal text and I have my own dedicated forum page for that, so you can add me if you want, but I am currently hired for everything except for personal text.
Added. Cheesy

I do like animated avatars and I think some members would pay or donate just to get animated avatars back in profiles
It was free but due to over use of animated avatars from members and some campaigns within a few months (2 - 3 months) and community complaints, theymos restricted it. Then only grandfathers can have animated avatars like yahoo62778, and similar to grandfather newbies can wear avatars.
OK, APNGs are now detected. Old ones are grandfathered for now, in part because people have ongoing campaigns, but in the future I might (or might not) go through and remove them.

Some points
  • I am not sure why they received such airdrop messages together with strange links
  • Assume airdrop is really happening, let's consider the given link. It should be not from any official project with a domain link .xyz.
  • Assume people carelessly skip the first preventive step, they should not skip the second preventive step with domain link
  • They can easily to double check by typing the project name (Osmosis in this case) on either Coinmarketcap.com or Coingecko.com and get official website link then compare it with the given link in received messages
1848  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Steps to owning sats on: July 27, 2022, 03:08:53 AM
you just discovered DCA - Dollar Cost Averaging.
That's one of the most ideal ways to stack up bitcoins without pressure of checking the price to determine the best buy in time.
Websites for Dollar Cost Averaging DCA
Amongst them, that one is the best in my opinion: https://dcabtc.com/ because OP wants to DCA with Bitcoin.

Dollar Cost Averaging can be used in both bull and bear market but I think in bear market, it shows biggest effect in long run. It helps to get rid of fear and hesitate to get in. Then when a new bull market comes, you will harvest good profit from your DCA-seed during many months of bear market.
1849  Other / Meta / Re: Spam reserved post, edit later to hit post quota is back on: July 27, 2022, 02:54:02 AM
Misclick, that's definitely rare but possible if the finger quickly pressed ALT+S instead of ALT+P.
I think I've also misclicked in the past but I immediately edited the post before it even reached 1-2 minutes. But if the date has changed, then I believe it is a reserve weekly posts.
If they reserved posts to get post quota that means post counting time is mostly ending. I am sure they will return a few minutes or hours later to edit their posts. Very likely that they make reserved posts for their farm and after they done with reserved posts, they will return to each account for editing.

I don't think they will spend days to come back and edit.
1850  Other / Meta / Re: Spam reserved post, edit later to hit post quota is back on: July 26, 2022, 04:38:53 PM
Definitely; I would encourage everyone to report "reserved" posts or ones with ellipses (og kush420 didn't even write a full ellipsis, just two periods, lol) to the mods.
Certainly we can report such reserved posts, even if they were edited mins or hours later.

Assume they return and edit such posts a few hours later, it is off-context. Because that discussion should go beyond the one happened around that reserved post. I don't say it is off-topic but off-context. Another minus point is edited content is always low or zero value, shit-post actually.

Quote
I realize this is probably just one campaign we're talking about here (1xbit)
1xbit and Stake.com campaigns. However, I don't aim at any specific campaign here. It is probably more posters like that and matter is we did not detect them.
1851  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Overview] Bitcointalk Services from Bitcointalk Members on: July 26, 2022, 04:27:21 PM
- I think DS_ won't take new projects either
Probably but he has a public service thread so he might take a new management job.

Quote
- yahoo62278 will not rent his avatar (only the signature).
Not actually. yahoo62278 will rent his avatar if it is a very long term deal. I checked and you are right. He changed his mind 3 years ago, with that post. Anyway, that category is for avatar, personal text, website, etc. so I think it is good to put yahoo62278 in. Who are interested in should visit his service thread and get more details.
Sig space and PM space available again starting 11/8/2019 Post here or pm me with offers. Looking for 2 weeks+ offers only. Normally 20+ posts per week

Avatar space is not negotiable as I lose my animated avatar if I remove it.

Quote
- I don't think roslinpl should be added to this list (I think the account has changed ownership).
I have a note about it. It is sad to see it happened because that user has a very comprehensive topic for learning BBcode.

Quote
- n0nce is not the author of my advertising avatar, he is the author of color shades.
Removed. Thanks for the information.

Quote
- May I ask you to make the columns the same width for each group?
I don't know (others can help) but I don't think it is necessary. Because each column has a specific use case so having same width does not make sense.

Does Carollzinha provide campaign management service for other project as well? I don't think so. She is only handling the stake signature campaign and she is one of their internal employee as far as I know. You can PM her to know.
No need for DM but I think you make a point here. I write my criteria in OP too so let's observe it for a while.

Quote
By the way, you have made a list of "ALL in ONE". Don't you think it will be hard for you to maintain/update the list? Just my 2 cent, TranDzung.
In OP, in introduction, I wrote clearly that this topic is made because many other topics were inactively updated or OP just possibly left the forum.

Mostly but not actually "All-in-one". There are something is missing such as Escrow, Collectibles etc. I don't think I will put everything in this topic.  Smiley

Additionally, I much appreciate community help to keep this topic updated (clearly presented in OP too). Community can do it, just like how they do it in

Quote
Great list though.
Thanks.
1853  Other / Meta / Re: Spam reserved post, edit later to hit post quota is back on: July 26, 2022, 01:31:04 PM
Maybe we should have a rule that only the OP can add "reserved" posts into his topic and a bot should have a list of keywords and report the rest of "reserved" posts at sight?
LoyceV has a scraper for unedited post (free) and a paid service for signature campaign managers.

I believe he can do it easily and it will help managers to have a list of suspicious reserved posts. Then they can compare it to editing time, check content more carefully for post count, etc.

It is normal if a user reserves posts in a single topic (for updates, etc.) but it is abnormal if a user reserve many posts in many topics in short period of time.

However, it should be a paid service, not free one. So I think managers will less likely to use it.
1854  Other / Meta / Re: Spam reserved post, edit later to hit post quota is back on: July 26, 2022, 01:17:49 PM
Solosanz caught a user behaving like this a while back: (AndySt) The next abuser of stake campaign?
Another example. I think they come from a same farm so they have same posting behavior. When weekly time is ending, they make such reserved posts to avoid missing weekly payment. Then, they will return to edit it with zero value content.

Quote
I think it's a bad habit for signature campaign participant. This campaign pays participants to spread awareness on their site which should be done evenly over 7 days
With this style, they can do it 7 days a week. If a manager requires to spread posts in 5 or 7 days a week, they still can do it. No issue from lazy participants like this.

Quote
but this way I believe they have hired the wrong people.
They even don't know about that. Very few members in forum know about that approach from shit posters, not only campaign managers.

When you see such posts, there are two possibilities:
  • Misclick
  • To reserve weekly posts
1855  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Overview] Bitcointalk Services from Bitcointalk Members on: July 26, 2022, 01:11:34 PM
The ‘rank column’ stands for the current rank of the user, isn't it? Seems like you have messed up the rank of some users in the list.
I thank you for your support. Indeed, I forgot to edit the member rank after copy and paste. Only edit username, UID and topic link. It's my mistake. All corrected now.

In later posts (not OP), I remembered to do it at beginning so no or less mistakes than in OP Cheesy

Quote
I know how hard it is to maintain this type of thread by gathering the information. I hope you will try to update the list as long as you are active in the forum. Keep it up!
I am going to try my best to keep it updated regularly. It's best if the community can help if they detect mistakes, typos or any new services.

what you think about bitcointalk escrow services? (Recommended bitcointalk escrow services)
I know about this but as far as I know, most of Escrow service providers put their services on hold long time ago. Anyway, let me check.
1856  Other / Meta / Re: Spam reserved post, edit later to hit post quota is back on: July 25, 2022, 04:27:17 PM
I am aware of this, I was trying to say that the 1xBit campaign manager might not care about how the participants go about the campaign, as long as they keep on spamming. Many of the posts and replies advertising them are low value, but they are all accepted.
You are newbie but your posts make me curious. Too knowledgeable about forum and 1xbit campaign, then checking shows that

Your first post (1 day after your account registration day) in this forum is jumping to Meta and answering questions about forum rules.  Huh
1857  Other / Meta / Re: Spam reserved post, edit later to hit post quota is back on: July 25, 2022, 04:04:40 PM
The manager of the campaign most probably would not care about such edited posts
Manager (and forum users) can only see edited if they visit a specific topic to see that post. If the manager only count posts in post history of a participant, it is impossible to know that post was edited or not.

Quote
I have a question about reporting such posts, If the user edits the post before a moderator can check out the report, what would be an appropriate response to it? Especially if the new post is not worth deleting.
First, such reserved post is non-sense and should be trashed.
Second, moderators can check content history of a post.
Third, they can use unofficial resource to check, like from https://loyce.club/archive/posts/
1858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to raise funding for trading? on: July 25, 2022, 04:00:30 PM
I am doing trading since more than Four years and earning good  but i want more capital for big trade setups, so any pro trader please suggest me that how can i raise fund for my trading.
Trading is like this.
  • With small capital, it is more easily to get profit with less pressure, less headache
  • With bigger capital, more pressure, more headache, more greed and you will make more mistake. Consequently your ROI will be lower.
Anyway, I think borrowing to trade especially if you aim at big capital is bad. You will lose control someday.

On exchanges, you can do it with leverages but I don't recommend it for above reasons.
In the forum, you can borrow money in Lending board
1859  Other / Meta / Spam reserved post, edit later to hit post quota is back on: July 25, 2022, 03:47:21 PM
Old story, it repeats again.

Spammers and shit posters (nothing wrong to call them like this) use this approach to hit post quota and manage to earn money from their shit posts.

How do they do that?
  • Posting reserved posts. Likely they do it because the time of weekly post counting in their campaign is ending
  • Returning back, minutes or hours later, to edit those posts with zero-valued contents.

I think if campaign managers see such shit posts that were edited, they would have one more reason to not count those posts for weekly payment.

For other members, we can report such posts as spam.
1860  Other / Meta / Re: [CLUB] The SpamBusters! Busting rule-breakers constantly. on: July 25, 2022, 03:20:30 PM
Some minutes ago my Telegram went crazy with notifications due to this guy quoting and replying with nonsense ellipses.

User: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=142531
It is not common but it happened and was detected in the past.

Such reserved posts are made intentionally. What for? Reserve post when post counting time is closely. Then come back later to edit them with shit content.
