2961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 30, 2022, 06:42:40 PM
I don't find it hard to predict because the betting odds clearly say that Spence is the heavy favorite. It's only hard to believe if you believe that Ugas has a decent chance of winning, if not, then you know who is gonna win the fight.
Unless you have determined a pro-win for one of the boxers then you will judge the exception for the opponent, the prediction was exactly in the Ugas vs Manny Pacquiao match in the last match, because there was no chance for Ugas to win, but in the end Ugas won based on numbers. I'm still neutral in judging the two boxers, maybe I can determine the potential winner after fighting after three rounds.

I would not say there was no chance for Ugas to win in the Ugas vs Manny Pacquiao match. Although I really have to give respect where respect is given, Manny Pacquiao did defend his WBA welterweight title. Ugas may have thrown roughly half as many punches as Pacquiao, but his blows were more precise and more effective. So I would not call that "no chance". Ugas quit boxing for two yearrs halfway through the last 10 years, but revitalized his career and then got his best chance by earning his 12th victory in his last 13 fights.

Can't call that "no chance"
Even though his not a solid puncher having 12 KOs out of 27 wins but making victory speaking with points is really still crucial. This man is indeed throwing off punches on precise manner
Its true that he might have some break but having that comeback did  really prove out that he could still able to make some good damn fight which is really respectable.
against Spence? This is not pacquiao on where most people do tend to compare which it would really be a hard wall to be break if you do ask me.

That depends on what your understanding of what a solid puncher is. A solid puncher, should he have strength, swiftness or accuracy behind his punches? Out of those 3, I would dare say that strength is the smallest of the three factors in terms of importance. I think it would do better to say Ugas definitely knows how to aim his lightning speed punches at the right moment. And to be honest, thats all that counts. Strength behind the punch is important but it still won't help you win against a faster opponent who knows where to hit.
2962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VIETNAM AGAIN CONSIDERS LEGALIZING BITCOIN on: March 30, 2022, 06:24:24 PM
There is no doubt that Vietnam, Singapore and the Philippines are 3 very active countries in southeast asia, many projects and exchanges have made Vietnam a target market because the growth of crypto users in Vietnam continues to improve, what the government is certainly doing is proper support because cryptocurrencies are proven effectively improve well-being.

Singapore has amazingly easy and lenient laws when it comes to paying taxes and crypto regulation. Especially if you are doing something like ICOs or opening online gambling using a cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. I myself was quite surprised at how many people open their businesses in offshore countries like Singapore just because the pros outweigh the cons so heavily.

The APAC has always been more friendly towards Bitcoin, historically. And if Vietnam legalizes Bitcoin just as El Salvador did, then that would be great news, but also very expected. No surprises.

2965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEX ruins the true value of Bitcoin on: March 28, 2022, 10:18:43 PM
CEX is not here to stay. Sorry, centralized boys and girls. Centralized Exchanges are not going to be part of Bitcoin's future. They are just in place currently because we have not found a better way. But we are looking for better ways to make Bitcoin more decentralized. Decentralized Exchanges are the future. Its just a shame that you can't use DeFi with Bitcoin... Yet. But I have full faith in the increasing technology breakthroughs, especially when it comes to Blockchain.

We'll get there. Grin
2966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DiceBot Script! on: March 28, 2022, 09:53:24 PM
Interesting. I will definitely check this script out, but I am not expecting much since I have always busted in the short term as well as the long term using any form of Martingale which is why small amounts of Doge is the best way to try this out.

I still don't have a clue on how to use a script. It would be nice if anyone from this community can explain to me how to run this script and which website are compatible for it. Thanks in advance.
A script is basically a manually tweaked version of the auto-bot on gambling sites and you can find many different versions through the link that the poster above me posted. Don't rely too much on them though since there is always a degree of risk associated with them. Manual bets are almost always better in comparison.

The degree of risk is quite high. Too high, if you ask me. If you use someone else's script, it might have bugs or mistakes which can easily be used against you. If you want a good script, learn how to write script. And then write your own script. After your have finished writing your script and trying to find bugs and exploits yourself, you can put a budget aside for third party auditing. Im not sure as to how much that would cost.

Thats the safest and best option for you. I would not depend on someone else's work.
2967  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: March 28, 2022, 06:25:21 PM
in essence that is what I said. With KYC you do not need to worry about having to prove where the money came from and where it goes. I think we might see true decentralised online gambling casinos in the future or perhaps there already are a few in the world, but until then KYC will be the safest option to keep yourself and your clients safe.

In the future, decentralization will play a much bigger role and many casinos will adapt. Smart Contracts will be safer than KYC.

Remember the famous words "Don't trust, verify".
There are a few places that you could use right now that would be decentralized. When the first defi world came out, the defi type of casinos came out with it as well. It is automatic and based on blockchain itself.

It’s not as fast, nor has the staff for it since it's decentralized, so the services part is a bit less worthy and could be bad feeling when you are gambling but aside from that the rest seems like a decent deal. It doesn't require KYC at all since there is nobody that can ask you to do KYC, that would require a centralized figure to ask you to do that. Still, I would prefer this place, because it provides better service for sure.

I have not heard of any "truly decentralized" gambling casino use cases for any blockchain but perhaps you could help steer me into the right direction? I would be very appreciative!

You mention staff, I would be more hopeful if they were a DAO staff, so anyone can become staff with the most votes from community hodlers of some speculative token. Obviously such casino platforms would never need KYC. Thats quite understandable on its own merit.

Do you personally have a lot of decentralized gambling experience?
2968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: March 28, 2022, 05:47:33 PM
I think that the very meaning of "value" is and ways has been nothing more than a single word without a real physical meaning. Value is an abstract feeling. A feeling of desire. Biologically, our desires are wired into us and always come down to necessary human requirements like food, love, safety and so on. So value is whatever we feel like it is. However if you are talking about monetary value, electricity, miners, internet and rent is not free. So making Bitcoin costs money.

Those Bitcoin mining costs are the non speculative, translated value.
2969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador's President Bukele gets An 85% Approval Rating on: March 28, 2022, 04:10:14 PM
An opinion survey conducted by Gallup found that El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele has received an approval rating of 85 percent. He is the most highly regarded Latin American leader among 11 Latin American countries ranging from Mexico to Peru, according to polls. In September 2021, the Central American country of El Salvador declared Bitcoin to be legal money. With the tactic of buying the drop, the nation has significantly expanded its Bitcoin holdings.

What do you think of this development?

Either he is a really really good guy genuinely or those are boosted numbers for the political clout. Honestly, I myself cannot imagine anyone other than Mahatma Ghandi or Mother Theresa being approved by 85% of the people.  It just seems a bit unrealistic to me. But then again perhaps I have grown wary of any kind of Propaganda after Russia's 140% rating of Putin (years ago).

I would love to see Nayib's contributions to society and the things he did to gain such huge approval, although...

Bitcoiners are good people, in my book, at least.

2972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender bias in gambling. on: March 27, 2022, 08:52:53 PM
There seems to be a bias in the opinions of people regarding gender and gambling. Most persons in my locale consider gambling as something more appropriate for males than females, who made that a law?

-In my locale, a man who is considered a compulsive gambler may be overlooked if he is doing well regardless, but a for a woman, regardless of her financial state, will be perceived and considered highly irresponsible if she is found in a betting or gambling place.

-A man who is known to be a gambler may still be considered for marriage by a woman, but if a woman is known to be compulsive gambler before marriage, most men will run from them or not even get close enough to consider them for marriage.

Why the bias? should gambling be only for Men?

I think that rather than it being a gender bias, it seem more to be a biological issue. Gender bias is not the right word here, I think. Men are just wired to take risks and women are wired to keep out of risk's path. Survival of the species depended on those "biases". So it does not strike me odd that more men would take risks like gambling while women would rather not lose their money (life's blood).

Women are definitely in the advantage here.
2973  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sign Up Bonuses on: March 27, 2022, 07:29:14 PM
What could be the possible caused of the companies that are not giving the sign up Bonuses?
•Whether they have forgotten.  Tongue
•Whether they dont have budget at all.

I doubt they have forgotten. A lot of people will make sure to remind them of their bonuses. So it might be bad budgeting from the side of the companies. And even if you do get these bonuses, a lot of the ones that look too good to be true are actually bonuses with hooks attached. So for example, you get a large bonus for something, next step is you need to play some game or do some thing before you are allowed to withdraw it. Ive seen it before, but only in shady gambling websites.

Most of the time gambling sites know how to inform and plan.

Are all particles decentralized? If every particle is fundamentally the same particle; produced by the same fundamental conditions, can they be produced anywhere in the
universe? That might explain both the particle wave duality and the particle pair production as a phenomenon of the conservation of energy law. Gonna try to figure this one out.

Think of it this way: red is information. Red is also a known and established color that only has one appearance attribute, being red.
A red car, a red flower, a red book. So the information "red" is decentralized but always present everywhere. It's the physical attribute to different forms which makes it something more than just red (like different particles having different quantities of energy, but having different forms)

And don't tell me to google QFT. Its not the same.

I'll tell you what.

Dumb lil me does not exactly know where you are going with this - yet since the topic does not sound bad because you used a buzz word that some of us frequently attempt to understand within a kind of relative context, there might be some possibility that your question will somehow relate to the topic of this thread...

Perhaps?

Perhaps?

TLDR:  Don't know if clever or just using the right buzz words.

You're smart enough to be here with us. That shines a light on your intelligence. Once Bitcoin becomes the sole world money we will see a rise of 100-125 million coiners to a world population of  7.9 Billion coiners. Thats an increase in 6320% in demand. A $20k USD investment into Bitcoin will make anyone a future millionaire if they invest @44k now. we will see a decentralized government where the people's money goes where its supposed to... to the people.

You want to know the richest countries in the world? - coming soon:

Bitcoin trading volume on online exchanges in various countries worldwide in 2020(in million U.S. dollars)

I hope Satoshi is a CIA project, not a guy. The dollar is going to be not worth the paper its printed on. All Fiat currency is now phasing out. The world's going to get flipped on its head in small timespan of mere weeks, once Bitcoin starts heavily overweighing against all the Fiat in the world. Government will realize how futile the attempt at trying to force the world to use their useless controllable "money". (I include CBDCs in this as well)

People will still prefer Bitcoin. Government dies, everybody is free. A new era begins. An Era where taxes become a vote, not a one-sided agreement.

Communism finally working because the human element of corruption has been cut out.

Russia gets to be number 2 at the top. Which  might be what the Russian-Ukraine war is really about. Theater war about having defeated communism while sharing the new world order. USA gets to be at the top, of course. Russia gets to be player 2.

Before anyone decides to take random marketing advice from a random newbie, I would point them towards hubspots and google's free marketing courses. The foundation of marketing knowledge can be easily built up this way and then you can decide how to improve your own original marketing strategies. Not everyone is a marketer but anyone can learn how to become one. Easily.

There are also a multitude of marketing tools, too many to count honestly. But the ground level stuff is always free and can be easily found on the internet.

Have fun.
2978  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukraine has legalized the cryptosector on: March 25, 2022, 06:36:32 PM

I think you might be overestimating how much money they "could have made" with Bitcoin. In fact you are severly underestimating the amount of money countries deal with. A few billion is just a drop of water on the hot pan. In the end, it won't have as great of an effect as you think. Yes, they could have bought weapons with that money, but not enough to make a significant difference.

But you are right in saying they should have adopted Bitcoin a long time ago. It would have definitely benefited their economy.

But it gives donators an easy way to help the Ukrainian army forces. Now Ukrainian officials will get all the donations directly and in times of war, every sip of help is important. For being one of the poorest countries in Europe few billion dollars is not a very bad amount for a country like Ukraine. Also, several crypto companies are running a donation campaign for helping Ukraine so it seems to legalizing crypto in Ukraine became helpful after all.

Oh yeah definitely, combined with Elon Musks satelite internet that becomes a viable and unbreakable option. However perfect, it could be used as a way for the Russians to localize UA/people providing money/services/other for the UA Military by their incoming and outgoing electromagnetic signals.

So it might be best to be rather careful with how you go about doing that, if you are the one accepting the donations in Ukraine. I think best way is to donate to charity of Russian-unfriendly countries who then find other ways to get weapons/help inside Ukraine.
2979  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: March 25, 2022, 05:03:39 PM
I can agree on the whole of this post. KYC does seem intimidating but when its demanded from a trustworthy gambling platform like Fortunejack, then I think its a much better alternative than to doing KYC on some other, new and unexperienced casino.
Rules on KYC are first ones I look for on gambling sites or on exchanges. We have a few now but I believe in future, many casinos and exchanges without KYC now will have it in future. If a platform has a vague rules on KYC, it is risky to use. Because you might lose money if you can not verify your identity successfully. For trusted platforms and if I plan to allocate big money on them for gambling or trading, I will complete KYC before I deposit and start trading or gambling.

Quote
KYC in itself is supposed to protect the casino legally, because it needs to follow regulations and it also protects the client/customer/player legally, in case there is a problem you can always prove the money is connected to your person.
KYC is necesscary to prevent money laundering and scam too. It is good to protect users and to clean the crypto area. It is not good for people who don't want to do KYC.w

Well in essence that is what I said. With KYC you do not need to worry about having to prove where the money came from and where it goes. Elon Musk won't sell his bitcoins, he tweeted this and we see no big movement in the market. There was a time when his tweets had big effects on the market. This guy is losing his value by promoting Dogecoin.

I don't think saying Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin will hold any water, especially from the perspective of a investor. It should automatically be assumed that any investing in anything, especially Bitcoin, is trying to make a USD Dollar/other fiat currency profit. Especially Elon Musk, who has proven that he does not actually support the idea and technology behind Bitcoin but rather just fanboys his way through life. Why else would he love Dogecoin so much?

Suffice it to say, I do not think he is a true coiner nor is he in it for the long haul.
