301  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S1 on: April 09, 2015, 05:36:13 AM
Hiya, not sure if this is the place to ask but i'm having a problem with connecting to the antminer web page, i can ping the ip address but can't access the interface.

help plz lol

Are you sure the ip belong to S1. If yes, then try to clear your browser cache.
302  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S3 / PSU problems on: March 29, 2015, 03:26:31 AM
There is EPS cable that come with the psu right? It's unused & you can buy EPS to PCIE converter. Or you can cut unused molex then solder them to PCIE cable.
303  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Please help with Antminer S2 setup on: March 27, 2015, 06:10:21 AM
I recently purchased an Antminer S2. It has been connected to my router and is registering on my network. I have typed in the ip that show up on the display into my browser and have set it to DHCP. I then took the information needed to mine in a pool and input it where it needs to be url, worker name, etc. I then hit save changes. It hashed for about 15 mins and then stopped. Now i cant get it to start hashing again. I have tried resetting the unit and inputting all the needed info into the browser again and yet still cant get it to hash. Any help would be great thanks.

Try to use lower setting. Try several setting & see the behaviour.
304  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: help on: March 26, 2015, 04:10:30 AM
Please stop, mining using GPU only wasting your power & shorten your laptop lifetime. Nvidia is not good at mining though.
With today's difficulty, even small asic will hard to ROI.
305  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S1 on: March 26, 2015, 04:07:45 AM
they use nothing basically, i tried with two g-blade asic and they were using about 60kbps at peak and only when finding shares, so not always

i think it will be the same for the s1 or every other device

I want to thank everyone for their input . All the searching I did , I could really find nothing . After the wallet was mentioned , it kind of made sense to me since its downloading the block chain nonstop , especially when staking . Result , wallet got shut , I now have internet with a 300gb cap , and an internet with no cap at
1 mb download , but that one is on a trial of if I like , I keep it .

So in short thank to everyone for their input on this problem .

Yes, if you run wallet core, then it's will used many data since it's always updating. I am using mycelium wallet on android phone, it's didn't used many data  Grin
306  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What its PSU Model for Antminer S4?? on: March 26, 2015, 04:03:44 AM
Hello, thanks for your help.

Now I have another question.

How do I connect the cables to the card antminer s4 ?? because the original cables are not equal to those who bring the psu you said ( external).

have over there some tutorial ??

Thank You

You need some cut & soldering work. Just cut the original wire then solder them to new psu wire.
307  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S1 on: March 19, 2015, 11:27:04 PM
I just have a quick question , hopefully someone can give me some advice .

I have and Antminer S1 and a gawminer Bitfury , , now here is the catch , my internet has a data cap of 300gb a month , How much of that 300gb would my 2 little miners use ?

Don't worry dude, with 300Gb quota you will be fine  Smiley
308  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer s1 Powers Supply on: March 14, 2015, 02:12:22 AM
So my power supply that I was using for the miner dead on me and, now I don't know what is the recommended power supply I have a 650 watt power supply from my old gaming computer http://www.amazon.com/KENTEK-Black-120mm-Supply-EXPRESS/dp/B0083Y7JUY

Is this a good power supply to power the antminer s1 with out having hardware errors?

The psu is not good. You should not use cheap psu since the miner will run 24hour.
309  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Help with Bfg miner, or USB miner stick or website? Don't know yet on: March 13, 2015, 11:46:54 AM
It's seem running normally. Since the hashrate very low, there is no accepted share yet.
310  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: NIC CARD not working?!!! How to connect via Serial Port on: March 12, 2015, 10:55:41 AM
Can someone answer the question?

That's mean it's not possible. Most of controller design is strip down version of linux small box which contain only hardware required for mining.

am i only one who get 0.0008 rate on bot instead of 0.001?

My rate should be 0.0014 instead of 0.0011 :/

I can see 0.0013 instead of 0.0016, looks like a bug.

Ive now been paid just working out the withdraw Smiley

Yes me too, i see 0.0013 instead of 0.0016.
Please fix the problem.

Try to check if there is any loose connection from controller to hash board.

315  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S5 Setup [HD] on: March 11, 2015, 02:26:41 AM
Hello everyone!Just a newbie miner question i bought an antminer s5 and for psu a corsair rm850 i also bought 2 fans corsair, one sp120 and one af120 and i want to plug them with psu to operate full all time.... my question may sound stupid but i want to ask where i have to plug it as i didnt found any cable for those in corsair psu box. What cables (adaptors) i need to buy to work with my psu?One is 4 pin and the other is 3pin.Any advice will be appreciate it.

Kind Regards,
BTC-Bank.

I am not quite understand of your question. Are you asking about cable from wall to psu or psu to S5?

My appologies i was in hurry..I am asking for what cables/adopters i need from psu to (extra) 2 fans wich one is 3pin and other 4pin wich i will use for antminer s5.  :-) i want to replace the original as it is too loud!

I tried the fan (4pin) direct on s5 but is not stable goes from 1600rpm to 2160 rpm and i want it to work full runing all the time so this is the reason i am looking from psu to fans direct.Thank you for your responce!

Kind Regards,
BTC-Bank.

Ohh, you might need to cut fan wire then connect to molex or you can buy something like this:

hello I'm new in the world of mining I wanted just to try to undermine with my cpu on gnu / linux but do not know how to do ( see attached pictures ) are joined this site https://mining.bitcoin.cz in a pool , but not I know (see images below) what to put in the host .
ps : sorry for the mistakes are Italian Smiley

Hi, you are wasting power if going to mine using cpu/gpu.
You won't get any shares since the difficulty already too high.

318  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: HELP - My Antminer S2 has stopped working !!!! Just blank blue display !!!!! on: March 10, 2015, 01:18:49 PM
Well i just checked my miner and the speeds are all over the place, if you look at pic one of the asics, chain #1 has a - instead of a 0.

The miner status page speed matches the speed on the mine display.

Which card is this, at what end of the machine, can i just remove it, clean it etc.....

Cheers

I don't think cleaning the card will solve the problem. It's seem like failing chip.
As long as it's didn't cause problem to the chain, you are fine.
319  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Please, I need help to start mining on: March 10, 2015, 01:06:51 PM
Hi guys, sorry for this lol question but I have read every tutorial for bitcoin mining and I dont have very clear how to mining.
I have a computer (normal computer) I want to test this thing of mining and if it works, I will buy an antminer s4 or similar.
I tell you what I did:

1) I installed bitcoin core as local wallet and sincronized, its up to date.
2) I installed P2Pool and its running well I think
3) then I installed bfgminer and runs with the command bfgminer.exe -o http://127.0.0.1:9332 -u user -p password, I suposed its working fine but:
   a) I dont know how to send the payments to my local wallet
   b) I dont know what user should I use (the password its not necesary for the bfgminer)

I cant understand when and how the payments go online and when and how goes local... I want to have it locally.

Sorry if this question its very stupid...
and thanks a lot guys.

best regards.

I don't believe you will get any payment using cpu/gpu to mine even if you mine on a pool. The difficulty already too high.
Of course the mining work if you use asics to mine. You even don't need computer if you buy antminer  Smiley
