Yeah, low 0.06x seems reasonable, but in an active subject to such wild changes, I'd rather not take too many chances, I have entered at half load. If it does go down as elrippo predicts, I'll buy the other half. But I don't want to get excluded from the trip up just because a few whales decide to do something funny.

0.006434 (binance) is officially low .006x already.  I bought with half of my allotted BTC in the .007's for the same reasons, but my margin account is still short  Tongue  I guess now is not the time to go to work.  According to elrippos friend I will have to let a couple jobs float until December, just to be sure.  Working is a poor life choice anyway  Grin

Well, I just went a whole 8 minutes and 27.58 seconds without checking the ticker.
Top that, wo bros.
( my previous record was 7 minutes 5.68 seconds)

I'm not saying it can't be done.  But...  Can it be done?
303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 20, 2020, 07:54:45 AM
So, after yesterday's bear talk here on WO we can still witness $18k+ and lil pump underway. No 20-25% correction is possible until $50-70k in my opinion. Go BTC go. Cool

At the current trajectory, that's only a couple months out.  50K in January would be amazing.  And 15k in February not as much Grin

i still have working PATA computers for those Ye Olde DOS Games days. and a REAL monitor none of that new fangles flat screen majik.

I paid $1000 on sale for my first flat monitor...  It was amazing.  Nineteen inch square screen WOW!  Still works ~20 years on.  ALL intervening cheaper ones died in a handful of years.  They just don't make them like they used to.

We have roughly 2 weeks for levelling out the bottom, so let´s see how it develops  Wink

I know you’re bullish.

But at 0.0068, if BTC goes on a run, how can we ever expect to get back to 0.015-0.02?

The tried and true way.  By going on a bigger run.

Not necessarily...

I like to think of this as the sling shot method. BTC rallies, all alts pull back, BTC stagnates for a month or two, alts rally in the meantime. That seems a little more tried and true Cheesy

Monero doesn't follow the alts very well.  It does slingshot rather well though  Cool

Hello again, 18000 my old friend!

Goodmorning Explorer how are you doing?

While asleep (woke up on the dinner table, blaming the Whiskey, lol)  the prise rose to $18,500 followed with a nice $1,400 dump and back to $18,000.

Bitcoin is a beast not to play with, i wonder how many people getting rekt.

Wonderful!  My favorite season! Plenty of time to sleep in 2022.  I will probably relax a little around 35k.

The time-series plots (charts) give you enough visual data for daily high price (in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020) and daily volume.

That is only three years, the last time that I measured.. even if there are four lines being shown.

Go figure??

Note that one line is incomplete, as is one year.

2016 should be included, for better comparison of the 4 year cycles.

Personally, I don't think Monero will go to the 005s or even low 006s.  If it does, it will be because BTC rips up (or corrects suddenly) and it will be temporary.  Absolute worst case is bouncing off 0.0063 - but I can't see that in all but 10% of scenarios.

I see strengthening support in XMR/BTC around the .007 mark, even what looks like a double bottom. The XMR/USD chart looks healthier still.

We shall see, but the buy side XMR/BTC is strengthening again slightly (from what looked to be the worst ratio in a long time).  I will agree it's early to be saying so, the volume is still low, but I am thinking there is a good chance of this being the local bottom.

Gonna cull a few alts and throw the proceeds in.  Hope I am right Wink

DYOR - I did sell the top a bit, but bought back in far too early.  Props to elrippos friend for a better take on the drop than I had.

Support has been very strong.  I've been waiting for that btc-rocket fuelled spike down, but instead we gain strength.  I don't know.  A few more days and that may be it.

I've been watching this develop:

Is this whole bitcoin thing now in full FOMO mode? Asking for a friend.

My FOMO indicator is still at an all time LOW...

Family > Only 1 has asked me about it.
Friends > Only 1 has asked me about it. (same friend from last bull market)
Acquaintances > NONE

It does feel like May-June 2017 again!....

because 78k is the price needed to be equal to 2017 19900 price.

we simply are not at the right level for true fomo.

This is from your mining returns calculations?

Going to buy a brand new car next year.  Already playing with the Mercedes configurator, ending up with the new updated E class coupe with all kinds of options, total cost over 80,000 Euro..lol. Next year i'll press the buy buttom that's for sure.

Great choice been looking at the new E classe (not coupe) as well. However I'd never (not really never BTC at $100k will make me change my mind)  buy a brand new I prefer 1 year old cars. A car loses ~35-40% of it's value just by driving off the dealership's lot.    Grin

#NoFucksGiven2021

More than likely I'll get two.   Grin

The other thing to think about is an airplane. Back in the day I wouldn't be able to afford a 152. Now a Beech Sierra or a Dutchess  is starting to sing at me in the back of my mind.....

The air travel idea is also looking good again.  It would alleviate the only drawback to living on an island.  How much does a pilot cost, these days?  Would I need to buy more than one?

Oh yeah, I forgot, at what price point do we all fly our black helicopters to the meeting place with the fire pit and the massive rave?
Oh.  Did you miss it?

The battle for 20K continues

Disagree it is not a battle.

Much like the tides or the rising and setting of the sun it just happens time and time again.

20k is a certainty.

25k-30k will be correction time.

with a strong, powerful, bigly rebound close to 78k late 2021.

Prepare for this!!

And then MOON.

Its only a one year rental, Brad.  Then you pay her half of everything to GTFO.  Or lose her in a boating accident.  Not sure how that works.

I don't post too much but today I couldn't help myself.

A memory came up on my FB wall today, something I posted 3 years ago.

The price of BTC, I must have been pretty excited.  Three years ago this day:  $7,971

It only proves that we're lagging behind on this bullrun. Back then an ATH was how much? ~$1000-1200? And around this time we were already at ATH x7! So we should have been at $20k x7 = $140000! It looks improbable we'll reach $140k this year but what about May-June next year? Why not?  Cool

But we are on a 4 year cycle, not a three year one.  Your number would be for Nov 2021 I think?

So try it on in 2016 now to match the cycle timing...

About <$750 level.  Translates to about 12k this time around.  Yes, we are earlier.  Hence my call for ATH this month or next, rather than last cycle's February ATH topper.  We could go back to sleep for a couple months, but I doubt it.
