1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Secret God on: February 05, 2018, 11:04:26 PM
If it costs 1000 SGD tokens for membership, and there is a total of 3,000,000 SGD tokens being sold in the sale, isn't the theoretical maximum number of members 3000 instead of 3500?
Shouldn't you be charging way more?

Please make sure you read the whitepaper.

...

Once again, Secret God is not for 'noobs' but rather people who have been in crypto for some time and understand crypto

...

So... A secret society (on a transparent, centralized, mutable, blockchain) made up of people stupid enough to get in on this staggering opportunity.  Why not just call it Secret Tards?    I would say it is exclusively for noobs.

For crying out loud!

I go to sleep and then work for a couple of hours and come back here and there is 22 pages to catch up.
Doesn't anyone here have a life?

Says the guy who's just wasted his life reading the last 22 pages....

Nope haven't read them all yet, still have 19 to go, I might just skip them.
It's been a beautiful day here and for a change I was up early enough to catch half of it. So I'm in a really good mood and might just do something useful instead.

It's something I need to embrace.  I might even take on a job or 2, if crypto is not going to bother entertaining me with up moves.  Still a beautiful day here, maybe a bike ride, to squeeze some of the crypto bubbles from the blood.  Or was it blood being squeezed from the crypto bubbles?  Not mine, anyway.
1043  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 05, 2018, 10:40:11 PM
Doesn't anyone here have a life?

Not when their lambo dreams are even futher delayed  Cool

With all due respect, we lost our imaginary Lambos weeks ago. Roll Eyes

But Bob's still got his new Porsche.  And the old one, it sounds like.  Seems like best bet is to skip the imaginary ones, and get a real one.  They last longer!

Bwahahaha!   Shit happens when you are making it up as you go along to scam retards.  But there are always more sheep to fleece.  Potential for $50000?  Fuck ya, sign me up twice!  Shouldn't you be charging way more?

...
... find the film that was made "The Forecaster".  Banned in USA, of course LOL

Why's it banned?  I found this not sure if true but downloading movie now.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Documentaries/comments/3ixvww/the_forecaster_2014_this_documentary_is_banned_in/

Banned for truth telling.  Not prohibited banned, just wouldn't let them show it in theaters or TV.  Most of the sheep won't go beyond that to see it anyway.

Congratulations explorer and thanks phishead for the work you put in. This was a cool game.

Can anybody tell me if Shelby is insane, like schizophrenic maybe? I spent a lot of time reading his posts a while ago and came out of it feeling like I'd been duped into wasting my time. He writes so much and says so little, it's really frustrating. Also do you have any concrete recommendations you've taken out of Armstrong's research? Are any of his paid products worthwhile?

Shelby is a little full of himself, as many intelligent people are, and does a lot of tail chasing.  Sanity is harder to nail down.  Stupid unimaginative people may appear sane, but maybe they are just stupid and unimaginative, hmm?  Crazy people may just be on another wavelength, not necessarily having a short circuit.  I'm certainly not going to point any fingers in the sanity field.  Not until I get out of this I Love Me jacket, anyway  Cheesy

One of my favorite quotes ever  Grin  :
“The thing about smart mother fuckers is that sometimes, they sound like crazy mother fuckers to stupid mother fuckers...”
-Robert Kirkman

I haven't paid for any Armstrong products, but his major calls on world/economic/social/political events are astounding,  years or decades ahead, and he sells out his conferences to a very high powered crowd.  I don't trade anything in the legacy system,( just watch what's locked in bleed) so trading calls don't interest me, just the trends and reversals for their prescience.  His understanding of crypto seems cursory, at best despite being a coder and an economist/trader, but there's not much history for him to work from, and he's old.  Worth a dive down the rabbit hole, just to see the depth and breadth of his data sets.  Don't worry, despite the horrible lack of proof reading, he's much easier to read than SM3.

1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: February 05, 2018, 07:02:41 AM
Can someone tell me anything about monero gold?
Of course, I got it from airdrop. gold monero still sat sweet in my wallet until now. the price of XMRG falls very far now, if i sell it now then i will not get anything. I can only hope gold monero will soon go to the moon.

The depth of human stupidity never fails to astound and entertain.  Well, the greed, too Cheesy

Congrats explorer! No idea what my numbers were until now. Oh well. It was pretty fun but we can do better next time, I think.

Thanks!  Yeah, hopefully a lot more players next time.  I hoped the double draw would at least reduce the chance of buying the pot, but I guess my luck is in  Cool  I've had a really good weekend, and a couple moneroj is a fine icing on the cake!

I don't follow this guy, is he being serious?

Yep.  Fascinating life he's had.

I've seen Shelby drop his links about but never really read them Just reading shelby's posts can become a job in itself. Smiley

Ya, Shelby is... Prolific.  Still posting?  I dropped all of the threads I was following due to time constraints, and never picked back up.
If you have time, Armstrong's life and models are well worth looking at.  Or find the film that was made "The Forecaster".  Banned in USA, of course LOL

everything gold :')))
that's been a while since last time I notice XMR, price rise so quickly.
remember that time, when I chose XDN over XMR. and time pass out, XND still rise, but nowhere near XMR. . . make me fell sad so much
but now, ONION rise as very potential anonymous coin. . .
a little bit pointless comment but...any one see through ONION? please tell me your opinion.

EVERYONE can see through ONION.  It's blockchain is transparent.

Congrats explorer!

Cool!

You want to make me look at football to find out the scoring/squares, aren't you?  Not going to do it.  Someone will detail it here eventually  Tongue

Ohhhh phishead already updated the OP.  Nice work man!  I appreciate the effort you put into this (even before the win  Cheesy )

1057  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 04, 2018, 09:07:56 AM
You know what's weird is when I came here 5 years ago we were doing the same thing and having the exact same conversations, except the price was 200 times lower. Bitcoin wasn't even known about - it was a nothing. Now magically it has manifested itself into a thing while we all just stayed here and did nothing and shot the shit. But we fully expected this and we all knew almost 100% that the next rally was coming, and then the next, and then the next. It's like we're a bunch of visionary entitled cunts.

I am very interested to hear what masterluc says next. I doesn't seem like the markets psychology can turn bullish again after this level of beating so soon. This could very well be another 2014/15

https://vk.com/wall-130254204_8317
https://ru.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/hg0S8xjw-historical-3-looks-to-be-completed/

According to google translate he thinks we are witnessing something similar to the correction of April 2013. Short term a rebound to 13-15k.
Once current correction will end next wave will bring us to 100k. Unfortunately google translate and my comprehension is not helping with determining the timing of this movement.

Excellent, thanks for catching this post. That's been my thinking as well....that we are in a correction similar to April 2013. If that fractal plays out, it means that the lows are probably already in with the Daily 200MA tag. But it would also mean the correction isn't over. If that's the case, I'd expect a bounce to the .618 or so before bleeding back down. Glad to see the master agrees!

Timing-wise, things are taking much longer than in 2013. To give some perspective: From top to bottom in April 2013 ($260 to $45), it took 3 days. By comparison, this leg down took 6 weeks.

$45 was a spike that disappeared pretty fast.  We didn't begin recovering from April 2013 until $63 at the end of June.  And 3 months after that, Silk Road and BOOM.

Anyone think the Circle acquisition of Poloniex will have any significant price impact in mid term. I expect they must be planning to become a fiat/altcoin gateway, given that Bittrex is apparently adding USD deposits and Coinbase is supposed to be adding more alts as well. Between the three, if XMR is available for trade/purchase with dollars on all three, I think it could provide a decent infusion of fresh cash.

Hi, where did you hear about circle and polo? I can't find any news or anything anywhere, do you have a link maybe? Thanks

Saw article retweeted by fluffyponzi on tweeter yesterday, but apparently it was fake news:
https://twitter.com/AriDavidPaul/status/959598411954651136

Thanks, and thank lord LOL Cheesy

So you are saying, litecoin is taking over polo, and absorbing the monero project?
1060  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 04, 2018, 05:05:16 AM
That's not how it works Bob.  You're spreading misinformation.

Thanks for that table, actually. Quite informative and does clear up many misconceptions I had.

The   **targeted time

Puts it alllll in a nutshell.  Zero correlation to reality, but such a fine goal!
