Yep... it's an issue.... probably for a certain high percentage of us... hopefully, I am not overusing the royal "we" here.
I've been trying to cut back on using 'we' myself lately. You were the case in point, years ago. I learned from that, but not enough You can't 'make up' on lost sleep; only cut your losses and start again. Did I tell you about how I started hallucinating during the Dec 2013 crash? I just remember you got really fucked up, then disappeared. I took the warning, then. It has faded some since, but I've had a wake up call these last 6 months. Next to no sleep for the period, and I ended up pretty ill, and made some really bad calls that were uncharacteristic. I've started working again, but I still don't like it, so I'm going to New Zealand for a month

Love is more risky than investing in crypto I don't know why i scared with love so guys choose crypto Than your love Love will destroy you But loving crypto makes you happy forever -100 merit haha I think you under estimate how much crypto can affect you too, especially if you let it interfere with sleep. You were the case in point, years ago. So, just sent an email to our CTO to set up a meeting/brief-chat, to let him know that I'm resigning.
Shit just got real.
Don't like the circumstances under which I'm leaving, but nothing I can do about it. My hand is being forced. (They want things their way, I want things my way, no way to meet in the middle...)
I'm likely to be throwing a small wrench into the works with my resignation, but I just can't deal with my manager and constant reorgs anymore.
End of an era approaching for me.
Kinda depressed, and then I think "Why you so depressed dude ? You're fucking retiring early, dawg ! Going to live the dream and so-on-and-so-forth. Get a fucking grip."
Will be nice to step away and focus on me for the rest of my unnatural life.
Soon.
Never imagined I would be dealing with this sort of existential angst with retirement mere weeks away...

Well what is the highest price do people think monero could become. Does anyone think it could possibly hit 5k or 10k or even more?
So transaction fees were about 4 dollars or so when the price was 500. That was just for lazy/ignorant/generous/impatient/urgent people. It barely topped a dollar for anyone willing to push (literally) one or two buttons and risk (small risk) <4 minutes vs <2 to confirm. So I would multiply your findings by 4... note: I've been here since early 2014, and I did (guessing) more transactions in the last 6 months than the 3 prior years combined. I paid a tick over a dollar once, and something like $60 once when I fucked up on margin and was desperate to cut every second possible from the confirmation time by guaranteeing the next block.

I think this crash was planned and orchestrated, many things came together and created this perfect storm:
- The mid January (Asian New Years) sell off.
- CMC removing Korea without announcement.
- Whales dumping and weak hands jumping in.
- The mainstream media (and even Cointelegraph and others) writing fake news FUD articles every other day (whenever it went up a little). So many fake news articles: Korea bans Crypto, India bans crypto, the list goes on.
- Tether FUD. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? People just assumed that they are scammers. The reserve banks of the world print unlimited money and pump it into the economy, stock market etc. But Tether is the BIG problem?
- The 100 richest Bitcoin adresses have increased and not decreased their holdings during the last four weeks.
Anyway, this correction / crash might also be a good thing, a lot of people came in for the wrong reasons, not caring about blockchain technology at all, expecting to get rich in a few month. This might be a needed cleanse and gve a fresh start. At least thats what I’m telling myself.
good to be a contrarian. it helps during difficult moments. I do hope we see a bottom soon. The charts keep on going down other simultaneities: -financial crisis beginning in US the world-political mess in the same country world

I wouldn't expect more than that this year. My personal bull thoughts are 1500 worst case, 10K euphoria. If there is a raging wild fire through cryptoland, then the bull may get grilled as steaks, and who knows how it plays out. Still optimistic though currently down 50% for 2018. There is a lot of 2018 remaining. As for beyond that, highest price I'd be pretty stunned to see it over 10 000 000, ever. The $ comparison would fail before that happens, because nobody would be using $ for anything but paying taxes in the US, maybe not even that.

I like Martin Armstrong's blog and I read it occasionally. Some very interesting stuff there. Do you know the best way to see his data sets? Would subscribing to his Socrates thing be useful?
Not for crypto, but if trading forex or really anything else from stocks to real estate, I imagine it would be well worth it. I've been reading his blog for years. I quit for a year or so during the US elections, because WTF. Just like all other media, it was 4/5 posts and I just don't fucking care. You can only register so much corruption before it all sounds the same. Anyway, as I said before, I don't trade, so I get what I need from the free blog. Try it and tell us how it goes The fact that everything moves in cycles, often complex cycles within cycles, is not new. What Armstrong has done is link the cycles of EVERYTHING together, for a more complete picture, finding new cycles along the way. Its like a big puzzle, and the more pieces you have the easier it is to guess or recreate the picture.

Ahhh, excitement and loss... Just had a fun phone conversation with an oldster who couldn't understand why the bitcoin didn't arrive at the (alt) exchange. Much fucking around later, I find it was sent to a BCH address. Said exchange explicitly warns against this "but it doesn't apply to me, because I'm sending bitcoin" wat? 'the address was different than the normal one I use, but I double checked, and it's what they gave me' Fucking clone shit can't die soon enough. Oldster makes astute trades, but can't seem to get the knack of transfers for some reason. I've salvaged more than one jumble there, but not sure if this is going to end well.
