How high will this go xmr/btc ?

Excluding Bithumb ATH was half year ago at 0.035. So if it breaks that can go really high. Monero March Madness will be here.

Interesting times.  Obvious question is how much of this is being driven by the hot air of the fork.  Then again Monero is a chronically undervalued crypto.

Running at the top of the stack at polo.  Been a while!

And below 11K again,150 BTC wall inserted at 11K @ GDAX

Seems impossible to break

My prediction is we go sideways until the g20 summit and hopefully get good news from that

wat?

Have you guys noticed this pattern:

1.  Upward price movement in XMR that looks organic and metered.
2.  Then very quickly thereafter one or two giant market sells that flatten the price back down.

I have seen this over and over for years now.
Isn't that the entire crypto market?

I suppose so.  And perhaps I am being a wee bit paranoid.  But maybe some other old timers here know what I am talking about.

Ride the waves  Wink  It's all been pretty orchestrated for years, IMO.  Just like every other market.  If there's money to be made, someone will...
I am no good at wave riding.  I will lose both of my moneros.

But I see you use the word orchestrated.  Care to unpack that a bit?  Wink

Nice!  When did you get another one?!

Unpack?  Nothing to add to your comment, really.  Allow it to rise, dump it back down.  Shorting XMR on poloniex has almost always been free (unlimited coins at .0000000000000001%).  Until it levels up and shorts get REKT Cheesy  As for waves,  I've lost count of my buy at .027x  sell at .028x  rides recently.   I should really get a bot or something, but I don't know enough to do it myself (yet) and I don't trust anyone else.  No worries, I have time on my hands, and spending a lot of time at my computer lately, so I just keep an eye on my one trade at a time Wink

If you haven't been using the Monerujo wallet for Android,  You're missing out.  It was good, worked as described, no fuss.
And then...  the integration of XMR.to has made things ridiculously simple.  XMR.to was always easy to use, but still required some inputs.  Now, you open Monerujo wallet, scan the BTC QR code to pay, tap confirm and done.  it just works, every time.

Binaryfate, you're awesome.  Glad to see you on the Core Team!

Oh yeah, don't keep too much crypto on a phone, and blah blah blah, surely you know the drill...

It's good to see more and more exchanges listing XMR.  I see that Upbit (#2!) has higher volume than Poloniex.  What's an Upbit ?!?

I have been using Cryptowatch.

I used to use it, but I can't make it work in firefox.  I'm resisting installing chromium....

that...is odd

I run Firefox here...

None of the drop down menus will show, and can't scroll...  If I didn't have them bookmarked, I couldn't even navigate charts/timescales.  Frustrating.  Maybe time to just dump it and reload from scratch.  Bitcoinwisdom and everything else works tho.  Even poloniex runs smoothly.

I find that when it is stuck on Firefox that I have to clear the cache.

No luck there either.   Undecided

Mr Cent also seems to have lost his thumbdrive

Or it's on an exchange/custodial wallet...

If YOU don't hold the keys, YOU don't own it...  Pretty easy work around, really.  Entails some risk, but preserves your oath   Tongue

XMR breaking long-term resistance vs DASH  Cool

Yeah, their whole ToS scared me away when i was about to open an account there last year.  I mean, they are ALL bad, but for some reason, that one actually stopped me.

Oman guys. Did I ever just stumble upon something great. Forget Edward Snowden, who needs that twerpy little millennial cuck anyway. We now, apparently, have the full weight of John McAfee behind us, a serious candidate for the most bad ass man in the world. I copied this transcript from an interview he had with cliff high. It's a mirror so I'm not sure how old it is, I couldn't find the original. I hope it's not old news. https://youtu.be/33nYy7Iu4Jg?t=20m9s

Well, there are thousands of crypto-currencies now, literally thousands. The top are things like Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero. Of those Monero is the one that needs to be watched the closest and here is why. The dark-web is where Bitcoin first got it's use. If you wanted to hire a hitman, buy illegal drugs, to get a live tiger from the jungles of Asia, you would pay in bitcoins. Now it's 100% Monero. Why? because Bitcoin can be unwound with enough computing power and enough will, if the FBI wanted to, they could figure out who a person was that did a specific transaction. But with Monero it is impossible utterly impossible it is completely anonymous and completely private. So that is why in the dark-web everybody is using monero. But what I have discovered is, what starts in the dark-web, in terms of crypto-currencies, leaks out into the world of white, the world of above board business. Because all people, I believe, all people would like to have anonymity and privacy, in terms of their financial transactions. And if I'm right than Monero bares watching, very closely. ... Bitcoin has now almost universally been accepted as, ok, its above board, it is open, it's a currency, people are using it and your not going to stop it. Monero, when Monero hits the light, and it has in many cases, were going to have a serious problem with governments because there is nothing, nothing, that the government can ever do to determine who is doing what and this scares governments, obviously. This does not scare me, I think this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. ... And if bitcoin does have a competitor, or will have, it will be Monero.

This guy regularly gets air time on national TV and it appears that there is a very good chance that he will be using said airtime to sing our song. You know how everyone always says the reason we arent higher in market cap is because we lack marketing? Well, time to test that theory because here it comes.

Psh, what only one? Who hasn't used their Monero to buy at least one tiger?

I wonder if he lurks. Hit me up John!

I don't recall a Cliff High interview, but the transcript is suspiciously similar to other interviews I've heard JM do in recent history.

edit:

That ain't Cliff High, that's why  Cheesy

Is there any phone wallet that supports Tether?

I don't know how good this one is, or if it's safe.

https://play.google.com/store/apps

Freewallet is a known scam in the Monero community.  I'm assuming there is only one...

Does it steal your coins? I have never used it, just heard the name.

One might assume as much...  I'm not going to test it.
