I made this post to be able to ask some help. My BTT account was hacked just the other day. Someone reset my password first then he/she changed my email right away. But since I wasn't online that time he/she easily took over my account. I was able to locked my BTT account after I found out. Only I can't access it anymore because it was locked, changed email and password. I was instructed about the signed message but the problem is the Bitcoin add that was link to it was not allowed to do signed message. But I can prove everything in my account it belongs to me.
Is there any other way I can get back my old BTT account? Please give me some help about this. Thank you very much and have a blessed Sunday.

Where you found the wallet? and the imgur shows my escrow thread wallet all from okcoin,i have asked okcoin manager on wechat they dont help for sign a signature ;/
And yes theymos could retrieve the post .To be honest ,i was thinking of doing a market promotion for my account i didnt know you guys could doubt my account security.
For now,i am unable to sign any signature of my previous wallet since most of them are from exchanges like okcoin years ago.
If someone of my old customer could help me tomorrow and send a tiny bitcoins to my trezor wallet then i am okay to sign.
When you deviate from normal postings, change your PW, add in an assistant, can't sign a message and delete posts, that will tend to draw concern. As long as you have been here, you shouldn't even have to ask that and you should also have known from all the posts, about having a hard time or not being able to verify an exchange addy. Lot of little things add up quickly. |

I do believe we have had enough of these complaint threads. There already are many with the exact same questions, statements and answers. Also, several of these replies and that of the OP prove they have not read the main theymos thread nor understand how Merit works. Stop with the never ending loop of garbage posts please. hi guys, i am new to this forum. discovered this section so decided to lend out what little coins i have
i have around 1 btc that i am willing to loan out at any given time (so around 11.000 usd as of today)
my rate is 0.5% interest daily. if you can find any reputable lender here lending cheaper, i will match their rate, but this negotiation must be done before the terms are set.
i take 110-120% collateral in altcoins and if the collateral dips to 105% of principle loan + interest then i will sell the collateral and you can keep the loan
as i am new please use escrow with me and pay the fee
I would look for a reputable escrow and be very careful with your loans as scammers are everywhere. If you are wanting to be the escrow, I would forget it as you simply do not have sufficient reputation to do so. Good luck! |

Some of them even capitalise the titles.  Actually those stupid glyphs that they include are worse. I've found the answer, you just put the poster on ignore. It's amazing how much it cleans up the threads. Of course it means the poster has a reduced chance of earning merits, but tough!! Exactly what I have been doing. As you also said, no chance for sMerit though. |

It is heavily frowned upon by many in the community and looked on as reputation stealing. Many leave a Negative or Neutral once the accounts are found and had you spent any time here learning about the community, you would have know this. I am pretty sure that most of the users here in the forum are still against the new system......
I used to think the same but I have created a poll to check whether my thinking is right or wrong and guess what the result (so far) is totally different. 32.6% out of 43 participants voted for both Happy and sad. They agreed with, "Happy coz shit posters are not just posting for rank up and Sad coz not all the good posts are not merited, limited merit source etc.". I used to think everyone especially low-ranks are against the merit system coz it's really harder for them to rank up but after this servery (still i need to see more data though), I fairly believe that merit system is doing what it was here to do for the forum in the first place. You can see people are focusing on writing good contents. You can not actually blame the merit system. The forum members are abusing it both intentionally and unintentionally. I think as the days go, we will start seeing better impacts of merit system. Those who want a sig spamming job forum seem to be against it.
-Absolutely correct ...but it's good to have a research how does individuals interact with it.
- As the time goes we will automatically can figure out what to do. For the time being I think we are fine Polls are highly inaccurate because of heavy account farming. I actually laugh when someone cites a poll to advance their beliefs knowing all too well it is skewed and you pretty much wasted your time. |
