301  Economy / Economics / Re: Sometimes tips the securities at the mall or local shops on: December 30, 2023, 08:33:44 PM
I haven't worked as a security before, but from my observations, I would say the securities are really doing a pretty good job. Securing whatever we go to the mall, we keep an eye on shoplifters to avoid thefts and nuisances. Personally, I am scared of that kind of job because you have to sign an agreement that stipulates that anything could happen while you are on duty, and only your family will be compensated on your behalf if it eventually leads to death. But i see those guys do their jobs with passion and happiness.

When we walk into a mall, I believe they are the first person we see, and i have seen most of them with a lovely smile and welcome message. While you are leaving as well, they say goodbye and thank you for shopping with us. Don't you think they are worth tipping? Sometimes we should tip them and appreciate them for their services because it is not an easy one and their salaries are low as well. Tipping them will help solve some other needs, or if they have a family, it will help provide extra money for the family.
There's this incident in our country when a security guy have taken hostages because he just want to get the attention of the company that he's working for. He has said that he's been fired and the company was very corrupt with their practices and he can't take it anymore. I know that their job is hard and they are also like the cops that are assigned into one details. But if you ever guys are interested with that story that I have mentioned that has happened in our country pre-pandemic, you'll get to understand why in our country this job isn't given importance because many belittles them. There's the video that I've watched from CNA (Singaporean news) that has made a flash back about it. I think if you want to tip them, you can tip them but it depends if their agencies allow it.

302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not everyone deserves to hear of your winning in gambling. on: December 30, 2023, 03:07:19 PM
I don't think that sharing your success story should be taken like that by those who are struggling because of their habits. It is not your problem if they are in debt because of gambling. And don't let others cut your fun and happiness to share what you have achieved, you can share it to anybody as you wish and you're not going to let them cargo their burdens upon you when you're just there to share what you have won and the amount you profit. But anyway, it is to each their own and if OP thinks that it's not right to share it like that when you have no idea what others are dealing with, it's just best to keep yourself lowkey.
Indeed will not be the winner's problem. It is not being insensitive, the ones who are taking it negatively, does. For sure we know to ourselves that upon entering this industry, luck won't be equal to all of us and that there'll be times fortune would be hard to most of us. If you did not have this mindset then you are wrong in the first place. It also depends on how the message is delivered and how it is being received; always a two way interaction I guess.
And if that person is the one to engage and start the conversation, it's not your fault if you've told him good winning stories of yours. Maybe actual on that day or from the past and it's not your problem if currently that guy is struggling or has got problem. But if he's not the one to start the conversation and you're the one that just want to tell it, you'll notice it as well that they will feel a bit uncomfortable with your talks. And when that happens, that's the time for you to just walk away and lead the conversation into an end because you want no drama and you just want good vibes because of how you've won on that day.

304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another year is going to end. Bitcoin isn't dead on: December 30, 2023, 10:50:52 AM
The skeptics have another heartbreaking year when they've thought that Bitcoin is about to get dead but then, it's not yet dying. They're going to get old with hatred on their hearts. And no matter how die hard they're going to wait and say that Bitcoin is dead, it has been dead on their minds for hundred times and yet it's becoming stronger every time it is bouncing back after the ATH that it has reached. They have to look at the institutions that have already said it once or twice that they dislike Bitcoin but look, they eventually started to like it and even invested millions of dollars on it. And we're also about to see the possible approval of Bitcoin ETF by this upcoming January 2024.

305  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2024 price prediction on: December 29, 2023, 11:17:08 PM
I voted for $50k-$59k and I think that's just a safe prediction. Of course I want to see Bitcoin go $100k by the end of 2024 but I think that we'll see that on 2025. But if that ever hits before the end of 2024 then that's a good thing since these are just predictions and we're not obliged to predict it very well or be accurate with it. I just want to take some safe assumption although the one that I have voted is quite high as well and that's even near to the past ATH that we've seen. That's why a ten grand of increase for the entire year of 2024 is possible just as what we've seen this year and it's more than that. So, after the halving, we're expecting it to rally that much and can blow up its price again.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale betting system on: December 29, 2023, 07:11:17 PM
This is a common system that some that are into gambling use... it's a system where you double your bet after each loss in hopes of getting back or recovering previous losses when you eventually make profit..it might not be beneficial to everyone
Before venturing into this system make sure you have a significant bankroll,  cause you may need to stake larger amounts to recover losses
You can't do this without having enough funds to spare.
Exploring this system doesn't always guarantee 100 percent success..many have lost a lot with this system and many have also made a
Lot of profit from it.. remember to always stake what you can afford and set limits for yourself
I would like get more ideas from my readers
Thanks for reading
You don't need any more ideas about martingale because you are aware of it fully. It's not a good strategy in the long run because it will just make you lose a lot. But if you think that you have no worries with this strategy and it is giving you more profit then that's so much good for you. Because for the majority of us, this really doesn't work at all. We've tried to do this and then thought that it's going to end up with so great results but no, we were wrong about it and if you haven't tried it. You'll see what we are saying so better not to try it and just listen to the experience of other gamblers.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 29, 2023, 11:43:35 AM
That was a game in Boston tonight. The Celtics almost got caught lacking as the Detroit Pistons took them into overtime. I thought they were going to beat the odds and bring and end to their losing streak but tonight wasn’t meant to be the night as they couldn’t hold on in overtime. They ended up losing 122-128 to the relief of Celtics fans.
It's like the entire world has watched to this game of Celtics and Pistons. Yeah, we all thought that it's going to be Boston Celtics that will end Pistons losing streak but that was just another crucial moment and even led to an overtime. We will see if the Raptors is going to be the team that will help Pistons to end their losing streak. I guess this series is becoming more fun and Pistons is getting more viewership on this time despite the negative situation that they're having right now due to the losing streak saga. Maybe they can convert this situation into a more profitable scene through viewership, no other thing than that.
308  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unless the prime suspect is caught, everyone is a suspect. on: December 29, 2023, 09:28:38 AM
That's actually a good set of list of factors on how someone should look into everyone on this market. Since the community is growing and many people getting in and joining this entire crypto community. Many of them are prone into scams and that's how weak they are when a total stranger approaches them as if they're a hero and wanting to teach them something how this market revolves. But the motive is there and that's to take them out of control and to deceive them with ill intentions and to mislead them. All of the questions are good guides for someone who's not yet familiar on how to spot on some typical scams.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 28, 2023, 11:15:48 PM
That's right, they all have the rights to stop someone they think are suspicious and will cause a ruckus. But I think that each customer that they see will be given time to be observed before they do any action like kicking him outside the premises or will keep him inside and continue to gamble. Usually, if these people that don't dress well have got mone and it's seen at the entrance or have been checked, they'll just allow these people to enjoy their day and win or lose, they'll still get that person's money through losing their games.
It's indeed wrong to make hasty judgments based solely on appearances. Inclusive approach should be adopted that allows people a chance to demonstrate their behavior and intentions. It's important to maintain a secure and orderly environment within establishments. Security measures are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of both customers and staff. Addressing potentially disruptive behavior is a valid concern, and intervention may be necessary in certain situations.
It's because there are big time people that don't dress very well so that the suspicious from bad actors will be gone if they've got money or none. That's what they are doing and that's not going to draw attentions from those people that are just observing the premises and looking on who's got money and who are the ones that they can potentially eye for them to extort money or do something bad. You'll never know that the well dressed ones are also bad actors and that's why some dress codes are fine as long as it's not that bad at all or these people are just dressed simply, as long as it has no problem with the casino, they're good to go.

The contention that individuals who may not dress well should still be allowed to enjoy their time and engage in activities like gambling underscores the principle of fairness and non-discrimination. Making assumptions about someone's character solely based on their attire can lead to unfair treatment and exclusion. The financial capacity or the ability to engage in the activities offered by the establishment should be a primary consideration.
They are allowing it as long as they're not wearing vulgar dresses and they are still looking fine but just simple with their looks. IMHO, that's going to work perfectly when you've got a lot of money and you know it. But you're also careful going outside in any premises whether it's on the casinos or malls or anywhere you go. Just dress simply and let the people judge you by your looks but they don't know what's inside you. But on the other hand, we shouldn't really judge people by the way they dress.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 28, 2023, 09:33:23 PM
So the question again is: how many hours do you gamblers think are more appropriate to spend while gambling?
Any amount of time spent that you think you're enjoying is more than enough. But to me, as long as I am in mood and I have money left on my balance, that's when I'll continue to gamble. So I don't have the numbers on how long I'll be spending my time in casinos, as long as everything to me is fine and I can stay as much as I can and as long as I have money ready to gambled. However if the time comes that I am no longer in appetite to gamble and it just happened all of a sudden, no doubt that I'll stop even if it's just for a few minutes.

Is it just me facing this issue, or do others have the same problem?
It works for me very well. I am using brave browser on this one and have no problem scrolling with what's with the promotions tab. Change your browser and see if it works. So set aside the Opera Browser because it seems that the problem is on them.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 27, 2023, 09:51:32 PM
Since you've mentioned the guy that didn't dress well, I don't think that this is all about the way he dress for assuming that he's mentally unstable or ill. But going straight to the question without the relation of the story you've mentioned, there's always the ground where the casino can stop someone from entering their premises. If that person does a lot of crazy things inside their premises, they all have the might to stop and ban him whether he is mentally unstable or not. But if it's just by the looks and judging like that, there can be some retaliate that person can do based on how he will be judged by just simply observing it without proper proofs.
If its a physical center of casino gambling can restrict anyone they feel like to stop from gambling, their is something I notice very well in gambling if you mentally derailed their is every possiblity that they will restrict the gambler not gamble with them when they notice, and they can only do so when you come to the gambling centre to obstruct their business, I know very well that if they dont have a genuine reason to ban someone not to enter their premises it will cause a shortage of patronage, that is why some centers of gambling betting environment always compromise with their customers
314  Economy / Economics / Re: Why must you used such money to purchased a car? on: December 27, 2023, 05:50:38 PM
It doesn't matter to me whether he'd listen to my advise or not. They will remain as my friend and I'd be happy to their purchase because it's rare to see someone you have a connection purchase that brand. Other than that, I wouldn't think of it as a personal matter that I should interact with their personal decisions especially if it's related to money. They are their own boss of their own money and I cannot question them whether they invest that big amount or purchase the dream cars of their lives. It's really no biggie when they decide to do that, every person deserves to satisfy themselves whether it is expensive or not.

316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 26, 2023, 11:04:14 PM
Now, I'm pretty interested on what type of fighting style could beat Inoue.
I think that one fighting style could beat him are those with accuracy hooks and has foot work too. I can see his calmness while he's beating Tapales and have a lot of opens. While Tapales, he has to improve his foot works because that will help him to cope up with Inoue's speed. Some say that it should be Tank Davis that will be able to beat him but he won't go to the US and will only fight his title defenses on his main land, Japan. While many fans and countrymen say that it's going to be Casimero that will be able to beat him but with his style, I don't think that Casimero will survive and he might even get knocked on earlier rounds unlike what Tapales did and shown that he's too sturdy despite all of those pinch hooks that have been sent by Inoue.

It wasn't that too important before to know that it's too early to invest. And you know what people were saying before? It was all for the tech, a new thing, a revolutionary internet money that we'll be part of it in the future. Something like that and I was like, there's the opportunity that can seen through it that it's just more than money but also an asset class that someone can easily understand if you're broke or even someone who has a good status of life. So, that has brought me with those reasons and I'm still with the same thought of it and fortunately, I wasn't wrong with my choice when there were too many distractions, FUD and a lot of negative stuff telling me to stop this craziness. But I am glad that this craziness and idea has brought me into a better pasture.

319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You must have a source on: December 26, 2023, 05:38:55 PM
To make your long term hodling easy for you, you need to have a good job or other business when you can be making some little money to sustain yourself until the bull run occur for you to take profits from your investment.
Just another source of income will suffice not to the point of having a really good job, as long as it is paying your bills and attending to your needs that can sustain everything. But it is an advantage when you have it and more if you've got profitable business. That's the ideal situation of an investor for which no need to be worried how he'll be able to survive holding Bitcoin. Because those that have invested without other plans and might just spend it when they are in need, the opportunity is going to be misspent by the time someone has to use it.

di naman natin alam kabayan kung before the date ng blocking eh wala pa ding court order? malay natin na inaasikaso na din ng SEC regarding this and besides legalities eh gobyerno ang kausap considering na ang Binance have operated in the philippines for how many years now yet not complying sa requirements ng gobyerno natin? i think that is more than enough reason para gawin ng SEC ang nararapat.
