1141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: July 24, 2023, 01:15:17 PM
So my question is, is the percentage of the rich gambling lower than the middle and lower class?
I do think so that the rich gamblers are lesser than the other status of gamblers. But with all types of status, we will never know and we won't get the actual ratio of it. Most of the rich will protect their wealth and they're not going to do something odd that will make them lose their hard-earned money. While in most depressed areas, gambling is proliferated because of how tough life is there from those areas and people are looking for ways like gambling as their temporary to permanent way to solve their poverty.
1142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: July 24, 2023, 10:34:49 AM
Your experience wouldn't necessarily encourage people to be interested in gambling rather a lot gamblers will learn one or lessons from your mistake, personally I would have withdraw atleast half of that money and bet with rest once I lost I quit immediately and move on
Basically, that's the best thing to do if you still have got balance left in your account. You better withdraw what's the best you think that you should have. You withdraw and then continue to gamble what's left with you, that's the most satisfying decision that a gambler can always do as he takes profit and then keeps on enjoying to gamble.

Also, I heard that this online casino is a bad one, start using platforms that high-rank members are promoting, I am currently promoting Fortune Jack and I also gamble on the platform myself, so I can say it's safe, there are others too, just DYOR.
Yeah, they've got a bad reputation in the community and that's why if there are still interested gamblers going on with that casino they better find another one that has a good reputation and is known to the community.
1143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: July 24, 2023, 08:58:40 AM
Whatever your category the bottom line is that we all gamble to make money though some group claim it's mainly for fun. But who would want to be losing money all in the idea of catching fun!
Not just some group but you'll see that the majority of the people here will tell you that you should only gamble for fun. And doing gambling as a source of income isn't going to take you long. Anyway, to each their own as usually.

There are gamblers that don't place their bet not until they have gotten a certain amount as their potential win. Some do this based on their financial challenge with the anticipation that just one win they may get on such amount is a life changer for them.
That's a mistake not to withdraw if you haven't reached a limit. Because if you've won, you better take out those winnings but that's it, depending on how satisfied you are.

My main focus on this thread is in this question: as a gambler do you place your bet according to the weight of your financial need or you're always okay with whatever amount that comes out as potential win no matter how small amount?
It's like a freestyle, whatever amount is in my hand that's what I am free to gamble and if I win, I'll take out certain amount so that if ever I lose I've got already my fair share. It's all about contentment whenever you gamble and if you're a big gambler then definitely you want to have a bigger portion from it.
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: July 24, 2023, 07:49:44 AM
I not sure if everyone regret just a day or two because someone who has a healthy mindset after regret a mistake at gambling he will not come back and stay away from gambling.
If someone is like that, that's a normal thing for a gambler to experience. Regrets are always at the end of the action that we do and if it's with gambling, whenever we lose a little or a lot of money, we're there to just admit the mistake and then will call it a regret and will think of something better. It doesn't matter how long has been one able to regret his actions, be it one or two days after he has gambled as long as it's the end of his gambling activity then that should be still enough to say as a regret because it's at the end of it.
1145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first experience with gambling? on: July 23, 2023, 04:25:08 PM
I remember I was looking for the faucet to gather some satoshi and withdraw them to the faucet hub back then. I guess I had a faucet website too, but I didn't know how to attract users. I had a PTC website, but all of them were for fun purposes.
Oh, the old faucet hub. It was very popular before and that has just made me remember the old good times. I was thinking that these faucet websites are still profitable today if you're not a claimer but an owner.

Everyone know we will lose in gambling, but not everyone can enjoy some winning when they're lucky, they ended up always lose.
Those that gambles for the first time wouldn't have problem by winning at first and losing it then eventually. But as time passes, you'll just want to win only and forget about losing but then, this is one of the hardest thing to avoid when you've been gambling for a long time.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: July 23, 2023, 01:43:35 PM
Just like the typical thing that we get into with, for which on these bets that if it's too good to be true then you know what it is. Let's set aside the casino and let's say that you bet on a reputable one. And with such small bets, do you really think that little chance you're getting the jackpot and will hit it? Well, people might say that you don't say that because a chance is still a chance and there are lucky people that do win from anywhere and that's why everyone wants to take chances. I'd say that just accept the fact that there could be lucky people with those odds but it won't be us.
1147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 22, 2023, 12:48:31 PM
Usually addicts will realize when they lose everything
Not even when they lose everything but when they feel that they're not contented with a few bets and they want to come back anytime or stay for a longer time. Despite of having nothing anymore, they can't chill aside and they wish to gamble again even if they do understand that the situation isn't favoring them anymore.

for those who have a strong mentality he will get up and get out by himself but if he doesn't have a strong mentality he will definitely end his life without thinking about his future, but as a friend I still pay attention to him so he doesn't do anything that harms himself.
Sometimes when you're too confident, that's also dangerous. Many of those addicts have been comfortable and believed that they've got a strong mentality until they've been beaten themselves up.
1148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you quit that's when you lose! on: July 22, 2023, 07:30:24 AM
If you quit that's when you lose is the loser mentality, in my opinion.
To me, that's more of an intense gambler that doesn't have the time to think of quitting. But then, losing will make him realize that there's a need to rest and they can no longer uncuff the chain that has strangled them.

So many gamblers have lost life savings before on gambling to chase losses and that is how they thought about quitting gambling. I don't recommend applying this logic since there is no guarantee the next big multiplier will save all previous losses while you can add up more on the loss side. Gambling is all about the fun and nothing else, so forget this point of view and don't chase losses.
That's for real.
Those that don't realize that everything is taken from them has probably the ideology that when they quit, they're all losers. Well, we're all losers in different senses and from the different battles that we're having, and not just with gambling. Stopping and realizing your losses does make you understand that you're not doing well and you need to stop but that doesn't mean you're a total loser.
1149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: July 22, 2023, 05:53:28 AM
That's true because it can't be gone too quickly and yet those people that prefer to discriminate based on the belief that they've grown will remain on them. Despite the world's changing in terms of these feminists and masculinity beliefs, we can't remove those people that choose to be intact with such belief.
And yet, it's their opinions and belief that they wanted to practice, even there are many places as well who already encourage the kind of fairness but still in a culture insight coming from people who continue to practice the old style of living, this discrimination will remain and will stay as long as they are still alive.
A sad truth that we'll never be able to remove but we can start with ourselves and be the kindest person that we can ever be. Since it's gambling, there's no bias on it and everyone is able to do that. While those people that can't change themselves, I believe that someday they'll change for the better.

Just the same, with those open-minded there's nothing wrong to have an equal treatment and allow women to practice their rights
to enjoy and be entertained or to whatever extent that they choose to gamble.
That's a practice that we've grown up with. If we're treating people equally, there are others that don't have the same attitude and treatment as us. That's hard to change and that's why even if you'll be the kindest person in the casino and treats everyone fairly. You don't expect the same thing comes back to you.

But this time talaga for long term.

1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: July 21, 2023, 06:18:33 PM
New technology will always be found while technology will be replaced by new, better technology. And of course, the casino will also implement the new technology into its system and replace old technology that is not by the times. There may still be casinos that haven't been able to update their systems, but they won't let their guard down in watching every action of their users. And if there is any abuse using GPT Chat or any other AI, the casino will try to recognize it with its latest system. And even though the casinos haven't made the reform, they can still identify it as a form of gambler cheating.
It depends to the demand of the customers, if there will be complaints and feed backs about the new technology being adopted such as with AI and it's not liked by the majority. Then, the casino will have to choose what they think is best for them and their business and that might delay the adoption and will retain the old systems that they're using. There's even no need for the most of them to upgrade if most of their customers have been used to the tech that they've been using over time.

He has taken care of himself and not just taking care but investing in the health and we can see the results of it. Despite his age, he's still like before although of course there's still the difference between his prime and his current status. But looking at the health that he's got, that's because of how he invested his money into his health and not just a few amount of money but IIRC, that's like around $1M annually. Those young calibers should do the same as his if they're having a good amount of their contracts. I am sure that if one of his sons or both of them gets in, that's one tip that he's going to teach them.

With the money that they've got from those huge contracts, they should follow what LeBron did to his health, investing to make sure that
he can last up to date and still competing.

Though it's not just investing but also taking care of it in terms of discipline, having that will and make sure that you are caring
about your future and your career, that's the legacy that he will leave from this league.

Not the same as he is from his prime, but compared to other players, it's undeniable that he is still exceeding and still capable
to play.
Not all does have the same mindset as Lebron. I was even shocked and sad that I'd watched a video of a man that has been interviewed living in the streets he said he's played with Lebron before and he ended up in a bad place for bad spending habits. That guy was Delonte West.
That's why even with those examples that they're seeing in the league itself, the habit and decision really depends on the athlete's thought and mindset.

NLEX wins against Converge no need for a handicap and then Gin kings ML is really sweet as they beat the unknown reason to be a favorite after that win against Phoenix, but today they didn't possess that aggressiveness to win against the Gin kings.
Was too late to watch this game and it's already too late for Converge to make even a comeback. Yeah, NLEX has won, and congrats to all of those bettors.

Anyway, there's still a long way to go, plenty of games to come, and tomorrow is a rest day. Betting will resume on Sunday, where Hotshots will play again. I'm wondering what the spread will be against the Phoenix.
Money on the line on Sunday and looking forward also to the spread for Blackwater and Rain or shine. I've looked at stake and there's no spread yet. Maybe tomorrow we'll see.
1155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: July 21, 2023, 02:30:49 PM
That's hard to see it being changed. There's still this masculinity figure from men and that belief is okay to do such things as gambling. And as for the women, gambling isn't really for them.

Gender discriminations still depends on how the society looks on it and what kind of people are speaking about it.
That's true because it can't be gone too quickly and yet those people that prefer to discriminate based on the belief that they've grown will remain on them. Despite the world's changing in terms of these feminists and masculinity beliefs, we can't remove those people that choose to be intact with such belief.

After careful consideration, we have decided to close bloomx.app.

We initially created BloomX App to address a growing need in the play-to-earn space in the Philippines and provide cheaper access to cryptocurrencies for the everyday Filipino.  It was an experiment for us and our first foray into the crypto retail space.

There are now more options in the Philippines to buy and sell crypto.  It’s great to see.  So we’ve decided to wind down bloomx.app and re-focus our attention on our remittance and OTC services.

To close your account, log in and follow the instructions on your account's settings page.

We’d like to thank you for being an Early Access user.  We’ve learned a lot developing this application and hope to be in touch again in the near future!

Note: functionality on the application will be closed in stages:

On July 24, 2023: deposit functionality will be suspended.  As a user, you will still be able to trade and withdraw but will no longer be able to top up your account with crypto or Pesos.  You can use this time to transfer your crypto to another exchange or wallet and withdraw your Pesos to your bank account.

On August 7, 2023: all trading functionality will be suspended.  You will still be able to access your account, but only to withdraw or liquidate your funds.

I understand that this decision may affect some of our more regular users. Please reach out to me by replying to this email so we can explore how our other services could address your needs.

Thanks again for all your support and understanding.

Israel Keys

CEO of BloomX

Mga kabayan kung mayroon mang user dito ng BloomX.App tapos may pondo pa na naiwan sa kanila, withdraw niyo na.
1158  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: July 20, 2023, 11:41:35 PM
A gambler may still be able to find some loophole but casinos are no dumb when it's all about with these matters. They'll be having those triggering alerts if an account/user is doing something off the coast and that's why there's always those complaints that we're seeing posted here about their delay of withdrawals. The blame goes to the casino where they're gambling but in the first place, they are aware that money laundering is prohibited in most of them because they're being regulated by the country where they're operating.
1159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: July 20, 2023, 11:25:00 PM
Greedy will always lead to severe losses. It is applied for any field, not only in gambling. In investment and trading, many people also experience the severe losses because they are too greedy. However, it is a valuable experience, you must take a big lesson from the story. I guess you will think more realistically whenever you put your bets again in the future.
That's what made me stop from winning big. Like already bagging $100 within several minutes of playing dice and then when I thought that luck is with me all of the time, I just roll it automatically and then went back with the little amount left. So I pull out and realized that when something like that has already come to me, I should manage to take it out before anything else. Being greedy is going to put you nowhere.

It is gambling, don't think more efforts guarantee more wins. Since it is mostly about the luck, just get the prizes whenever you think the prize is enough for you. The casinos won't ever stop to give you more offers of bigger prizes, but you need to think realistically and control your emotion. Always remember that the chance to win won't increase although you put bigger money, especially on the betting.
Right on, even if you're exerting a lot of effort for your bets. Well, at the end of the day they don't matter because what matters most are the results whether you win or lose. While it is intriguing of having the thought in our minds about what if we stop, what if we continue, that's when the argument starts on our heads.

He's different and has a different approach towards his body, he invests a lot on it and if every player is getting a huge contract as his. Then, for sure that they'll also the same self care with their bodies and will invest $1M on it yearly.
LeBron is a good example because, despite being an exceptional player, he still ensures to take care of his body. You can really tell that he is a disciplined man, unlike other superstars who love to party and enjoy their fortunes made in the NBA, which can lead them to forget about their future. At Lebron's age now, he still a decent player who could easily average a double double, so I'm sure he'll stay for awhile.
He has taken care of himself and not just taking care but investing in the health and we can see the results of it. Despite his age, he's still like before although of course there's still the difference between his prime and his current status.
