1181  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: July 17, 2023, 09:23:12 PM
So people need to understand that a game that you play to win some reward and lose nothing if you don't win can't be and shouldn't be considered gambling but it is just a game that you play for some reward, even if it involves making predictions on real life events like sports matches, etc.
Different opinions about considering gambling without a stake. That can be true in some forms because you've got nothing to gamble with. But we can't also deny that winning and losing is part of gambling and that's why we do something and you're expecting to win, the risk is already there. And it's up to you whether to consider it as gambling or not when you're not putting a lot of pressure and risk on what you do. Considering that we also play gambling and we also could have some reward if ever we hit our bets and we're lucky enough. So, that's it, you do you in considering topics like this.
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto betting on: July 17, 2023, 08:57:03 PM
Stake. It's known in the forum and outside. They've got a sportsbook and that's what they're popular for. But aside from them and if you're not yet content to try them. Check the whole gambling section for which you're already here and many announcement threads have already been made here as well. It's only a matter of time until you can each of the announcement threads and from there, start to choose and think which bookie is the best and suits your satisfaction.
1183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: July 17, 2023, 12:44:52 PM
The span in which one might complete the lowest level of a VIP program basically depends on how much one is wagering for each bet or in each session, if the size of the bet is too small, it will take more time for the level to complete but if you are wagering with a higher base bet
It's simple the more you bet, the more XP and level you'll get.

you will definitely complete the level more quickly, and obviously, every bet counts towards the XP for the level of your VIP status within the platform.
If the rewards where you're gambling are enticing for an account to have a lot of rewards, you'll for sure going to gamble more and have that goal as you wager more bets.
That's the reason why some gamblers keep on going despite the losing streak that they've got. It's not just all about winning and losing but also reaching the goals through the account status that you have and perks that you'll get mostly for VIP status.

1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: July 17, 2023, 10:15:55 AM
You probably know that almost all new meme projects are coming out now. Do you think it is really risky?
Yes, they're risky.

what effect do you think this could have for the bull market!
Nothing.
They'll be adding some volume to the market and that's the normal move that altcoins have like with meme coins. There's nothing special about meme coins anymore. Do you think that there's something special still with them? Because I think that even if the bull run comes, some may emerge and becomes a hype again to the market. But then, that won't last long as the typical market will drop a bomb to all of these altcoins when the dump comes which is going to start by the whales that are playing on these alts like meme coins.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 17, 2023, 08:09:24 AM
Dude, being an advocate of people who wants to quit gambling is a good one. But you don't force people in quitting just because you hate it and you're not for it. Any person can stop at their own will but if they don't want to, you don't have a say in whatever decision a gambler makes.
Join you or not, at some point in individual gamblers' lives, a time will come when we'll all realize what we like to do and what we are up to. You may not like gambling and that's why make your own ways of avoiding it and if you're trying to attract people follow what you did, that's in you. There's no need to push everyone to dislike it just because you hate and despise gambling. If it didn't do good to you then just really avoid it for a lifetime.
1186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie - advice? on: July 16, 2023, 09:28:56 PM
Before buying a trading book, look at those links that have been given to you. There are free resources that you can read and search for them first before deciding to buy.
Aside from those reading materials, check on exchanges that have a demo account. From there, you will have the idea on how it looks like to trade and how much risk you're willing to take.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: July 16, 2023, 08:25:52 PM
You're right, I've experienced this several times when really expecting or having confident thoughts of getting lucky I even got a losing streak but when I wasn't thinking about a win and was gambling happily suddenly luck came and got a big win.
I think this happens for many gamblers, when we're not expecting to win, we win. And when we're expecting to win, we lose. That's how it goes but I think these are all coincidence that has nothing to do with whether we're lucky or not.

Thinking that is too confident is sometimes always untrue and makes us unable to stop gambling out of curiosity with thoughts that are confident in getting big wins.
Well, being too confident boosts ourselves and that's why for those that are using gambling as a source of income, that's how they feel that they'll make it. But for the many of us, we don't think that it's ever going to work because we've tried it already yet we failed.
1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Help to rescue on: July 16, 2023, 07:26:37 PM
You only have a very limited option, if you're at a big loss now. It's either accept that loss you've made or be patient and wait until it recovers and while waiting for its recovery, you can add more so that you'll also be able to capitalize on that whenever the time comes for it to be up again.
Everyone's idea is good if you're going to read all of them but at the end of the day, only you can know what option is the best for you. Many of us here have been in the same position and we just did what we think is right, to cut loss or DCA and hold.

1189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer? on: July 16, 2023, 07:03:31 PM
There's no need for any scientifical explanation why people like to see the bull market. It's because we want to see our portfolios grow. And opposite at the same time for those that haven't accumulated yet. There's really no need to shred it into parts why people prefer this or that.

So where do you belong? Is the bull market is more important than the bear market? And if I may ask, which one is the best?
Both of them are important that makes the market go round. You just go with the flow and take any opportunity and advantage that it offers.
1190  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you think MARK suspend peoples Facebook's accounts???? [Cyber crime] on: July 16, 2023, 12:54:08 PM
That's what centralization is. There's a central authority in a platform and it has the power to do whatever it wants to users. But, before doing that, there's a set of rules that they've made as a standard to be followed. So basically if an account is reported, you'll have that notice and verdict. Other than that, they'll detect if you've been doing malicious things like sending unsolicited links to others' inboxes. And on your case, you have the idea already, are you sure that you haven't done anything within that day after opening your account?
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is not Practical on: July 15, 2023, 03:11:31 PM
Literally no one has money that they can afford to lose.
Maybe that's what you think but in reality, there are people that have money that they can afford to lose and that's what gambling is for them. They've got money ready to lose.

Hey gamblers my question is to you now is, the money you currently plan to use for gambling is it money that you can afford to lose?
Yes.
I gamble with an amount that I can afford to lose. It's like a money ready to be spent for gambling and no matter what the results, you're on it and there will be no hard feelings when the results didn't go accordingly.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 15, 2023, 12:42:40 PM
Admission is a big factor, admission of being an addicted gambler. And after realizing that problem, you have to seek the help of the professionals that have been helping addicted gamblers. You may try to do it on your own but if you find it too hard, there's no need to hide the problem but to go to those professionals that will help you remove that gambling addiction as it's for your own good. Realizing and accepting that you've got a gambling problem is hard to happen for many gamblers and that's why they've been stuck into this problem.
Usually they are not unaware that they are an addict, but they are embarrassed enough to tell it to others that in the end they cannot let go because they are buried by themselves.
But whether being defeated by shame will solve the problem, of course not because after all it will be difficult when it is really an addict.
The main reason is that when telling someone else, sometimes that person cannot be trusted and tells it again to someone else, and that encourages a person's shame so that they don't dare to tell.
A person may be able to lie to others, but they cannot lie to themselves. The key is within themselves, because basically as others we just want to help.
I know how it feels to tell someone that you're addicted to gambling. You'll feel ashamed of yourself when you get to tell it to someone and even if you do trust them to keep a secret, you'll never know if they'll keep it because they may tell it to another circle of their friends and from there, it's going to know that you're an addicted gambler.

By the way, maybe we can also easily talk like this, because we don't experience it, but if we were in their position it would also be very difficult.
I've been there and it's truly tough times when you're in that position. But that doesn't mean that there's no hope and if you have that will to stop, you have to start on your own.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more ETH..... on: July 15, 2023, 10:30:21 AM
It is true that there is no need to doubt it because for long-term investment Ethereum is a safe choice,
so no need to worry when holding it in the long run,
until now Ethereum is still the king of altcoins.
ETH is still known as the king of alts because of its ranking in the market and despite that many other altcoins that are being said to have better networks, still remain the top choice of the many. I still also hold ETH and they're just a few of it and hoping that in the next bull run, I'll dispose of them and sell them so that I'll get a decent profit. But from there, I will not hold eth anymore as those are like the few ETHs that I'm holding ever since so it is like a make it or break it for me.
1194  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Make or Break on: July 15, 2023, 09:08:33 AM
1195  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: July 15, 2023, 12:05:45 AM
Though there are still a lot of room for improvement para sa bata, I have nothing but respect for Kai's hardwork para sa NBA journey nya.

1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: July 14, 2023, 03:49:33 PM
Can't wait to see how big this exchange will be in the near future.
Despite they're already big, they have to be cautious that most of the biggest exchanges in the past became obsolete.
I think that in the future Binance will suffer the same fate as the previous major exchanges. It's hard to say how and when it may happen, but if huge funds like blackrock come to this market, binance will not be able to compete with them. By the way, a possible option that sec has claims to binance is just the etf requests.
We don't know if that's going to happen. I've just been reminded that the most popular exchanges before can't even be remembered now. With SEC playing on them or it is them that's playing with the SEC, the fate of them really is unknown as of the moment. They may be popular as they can be for now but we don't know what's going to be the future. If they maintain their status for now then that's good for their business. But if they can't give what SEC is trying to ask on them and comply with some certain requirements, that's gonna keep on chasing them.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: July 14, 2023, 12:45:02 PM
True even though binance has big problem with SEC i still believe on this coin and i believe binance can showing to SEC binance is innocent.
IMHO, they won't be chased by SEC if they've got no laws to violate or they comply with what they lack of. We don't know much about these issues as they're trying to play the victim or they're really chased by the SEC. But to say that they are innocent, that's far from reality. They know their own issues and they have got what it takes to be welcomed by SEC. Anyway, Binance itself and not the token (BNB) has been doing pretty well and they've been in here for quite a while.

Can't wait to see how big this exchange will be in the near future.
Despite they're already big, they have to be cautious that most of the biggest exchanges in the past became obsolete.
1199  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bakit takot ang mga Filipino na pasukin ang crypto? on: July 14, 2023, 04:27:26 AM
Let's be honest, we, Filipino lacked in financial education. maraming takot dahil madalas wala educational background ang pinoy. Isa pa, karamihan sa pinoy is isang kahig isang tuka, they earn enough just to buy basic everyday needs.

Its like bibili n lang ako pagkain sa pamilya ko rather than invest it to something we are not sure of.
