1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Technology is Changing Sports Betting on: August 11, 2023, 05:46:13 PM
While there could be a big change for betting in sports through AI. I just want to go with the traditional one which I prefer since I'm used to it. Maybe sooner or later the changes through AI in all of its forms including gambling will also be adopted eventually. But I just can't feel it right now because I'm all for the typical setup that we're having. Maybe, just like in chatbox where there's an AI and you want to cast a bet and that's it. It will be recorded automatically and you'll be able to cast bets with simple types of words. That's how it is going to change but then, as long as there's not that much demand on it and there's more with the former, that doesn't hurt the people like me that still prefers the older system.
1022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tips that helpfull for beginners on: August 11, 2023, 05:27:34 PM
Demo account is important and practice practice practice. Don't be in a hurry.
That's even forgotten these days. Newbies are going to the actual trading without knowing that they can trade through demo accounts. Well, the exchanges should also advertise this so that the new traders can have an idea on it looks like to trade using a demo account.
That's the sole purpose of it but the majority of the newbies are going quickly with their trades because they think that they don't need it and experience is what they need to have. They have a point but it's most likely that they're going to lose money on their very first try unlike with a demo account, they can make mistakes there and learn from it unlike with actual money. Once they lose, they're actually going to lose that money they have deposited and used for it.

https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/PayPal-Community/ct-p/en

1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs that indicate you are not addicted to gambling on: August 10, 2023, 11:42:33 PM
I stopped chasing losses long time ago because I have seen on how it has affected me a lot. I am still a gambler but I am no longer addicted and I've got a control to myself. That's a hard part to be managed because with what we're usually seeing is that, there are gamblers that do struggle in maintaining their posture and control when they gamble. They think that they can handle themselves but when they're on the situation, that's when things don't go accordingly to what they have planned for.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins profits or bank profits, which best? on: August 10, 2023, 11:11:11 PM
Bank investors have more certainty because there capital is completely safe but they give 8-10% annual profits to the investors of per year. But it is comparatively less in terms of profits.
And with the inflation, the profit might not be enough to defeat it.

On the other hand you will get constant profits from crypto as if you are experienced in trading then daily profits is possible. Otherwise you can get profits by investing. However crypto investment puts your capital at greater risk (main point).
Traders might earn some and lose some. It's not always like that as if it's easy to say that they can earn quickly and do that without having problems. In fact, many traders are problematic in day to day basis because instead of making profits, they are incurring losses. It sounds nice and chill when someone talks about traders and the market, wherein reality things are too complicated and hard to do if we'll check out the facts.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 10, 2023, 04:45:34 PM
Excitement is what makes someone forget that he has to secure his profit upon winning those bets. And also being confident that he'll never lose on that day is what stops him from doing it too. Probably we're mentally strong when we're able to cash out and take the profit but I wouldn't say that those that didn't are mentally weak. But it's true that they need to control themselves and forget not that they're gambling for the money and just having fun is just next to it. No matter how hard we try to say that we're gambling for fun, when the profits are there you shouldn't neglect it and don't ruin the fun by losing more and forgetting that you need to take and cash out for a while before continuing.

The pleasure of gambling must also be based on good realism, if fun generates profits, why not. Just need to take advantage of it and continue the fun of gambling with a small amount of money left. That would be better than ignoring it.
Just do remember that when you're having fun, you don't have to sacrifice things like also making a profit if it's already there. But if you're having fun also forgetting about it and letting it lose when it's already in your firsthand, then that's the type of fun that you're having.

Sometimes a person forgets to limit how far the fun stops and doesn't take this good opportunity. Self-control was indeed very difficult, it would not be easy for someone who was too greedy and had no future plans.
This is true. When the situation is intense and exciting, the gambler forgets why he's gambling and even having fun you have to get hold of yourself and try to remember what you're up to, or else you're going to make your situation worse than the moment when you're having fun. Just do get yourself some reminders when you're not remembering things and limits anymore.
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We Are crypto projects reasearch team and here is the idea on: August 10, 2023, 04:04:39 PM

I don't feel something good with this type of proposal and asking people to be into this type of groups.

If you dont make profit with our suggestions then there is got be something wrong we have very good ways to find exacly 10x-1000+ gems.
The project what we suggest now is wall Street meme coin and thug coin both of them have huge price gain potential

Can i post here my Telegram link so it don't get deleted ? So you all can join and we can build up together profit making Community.
If you're making a lot from finding those gems. First things first is that why don't you focus on making yourselves rich? There's a likely that you'll be getting something huge from the people that joins your telegram and everything you share there could be crap or hit or miss predictions and projects.

1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: August 09, 2023, 11:47:00 PM
They should consider removing the Ravena brothers instead.
It should be Chot should consider removing the baldog brothers. But you know what? He won't because Chot is ninong of Thirdy IIRC and it's his ninong. So it is impossible to remove these two from the roster. It's been called for so long and as you can see, there's always a lot of playing time for these two despite of how they're wasting the time they're inside court. There should really be a revamp on the roster if it's about these two but I am not expecting them to be gone as per Chot who's the most powerful coach of them all that keeps on learning and learning until nothing is happening. LOL, pun intended.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn an apartment in a bear market on: August 09, 2023, 11:14:55 PM
I'll buy more only two, ETH and BTC.
With that, I don't have to be problematic what to choose because they will for sure going to be the starters of the bull run. And if the bull run has been there, I'm totally safe because they'll for sure going to be up. The others could also be part of the bull run but I'll choose what I wanna choose if I have that goal of buying an apartment for the next bull run. Having $500/mo. budget to DCA is a huge amount to consider that you'll start with but it's up to you if you want to diversify a lot of it.
1033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any methods to do it? on: August 09, 2023, 06:24:05 PM
Yes, that's very likely to earn that much in trading if you've got a bigger capital. I'd just say that it's possible but making it in actuality is where the real challenge starts. I don't know how many mistakes you'll have to make for you to make that amount that you're targeting.
Here's a piece of tip, most of the people that are day trading are getting rekt. Now, that's the reality that has to be taken into consideration if you've got that plans of making that much daily in trading. It sounds easy but it isn't and once you're able to make that then you can consider yourself a legend.

90% of people do fail to make any profits from trading but there are still 10% who do make profits. I want to be in that 10% and I am not a newbie in this sector. I just need some guidance to find my way to do that. I just want to hear how other are doing it so that i can improve my own strategy.
I'm not successful in it but based on what I am reading from the other successful traders, they're into the charts actually and applying most of the methods that you probably know and how they read it. There's no secret or exemption to what they're applying to their trades. I know that you've got already some experience on how it goes but you really need to make a trial and error run for your trades. Test every possible method that you know and see to it on which of them is the most applicable and working to you, you'll see that on which is the most effective when you've made some wins.

I am in crypto for a few years and i have good knowledge of the crypto markets and their behavior. For the past few years, I am mostly invested in some top crypto project and held it till I get decent profits. You can say i am a holder. Now i want to try something different. I want to try day trading methods to generate a daily income from the spot market.

Is that even possible to earn 50$-100$ every day with spot trading? If yes then what methods you are using and how do you manage your risk?

1036  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: August 09, 2023, 12:21:45 PM
I reset my password the other day because they asked me to, no problem, but now when trying to do a cashout I'm getting a brand new error I've never seen before:

"Looks like there's a problem

Your cash-out has been rejected because of our risk policy. Please try again later."

WTF is this? Have you guys ever seen this one before? Somehow the 'risk' might go down later? No instructions were given on how to resolve it.
I went back to coins to do some transactions again and everything went smoothly. I've never experienced this problem, what outlet/bank you're trying to do the withdrawal? And is that withdrawal quite big? It's best to reach them out and talk about this problem or email them at help@coins.ph.
1037  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: August 09, 2023, 11:43:24 AM

Haha.
1038  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: binance vs decentralized exchange on: August 08, 2023, 11:29:05 PM
I have been meaning to get back into trading and futures for a while. I left binance do with KYC but thinking of sucking it up and excepting it. Looking at alternatives though dydx came to my attention. What are they like and is there any other good Perpetual exchanges that are non KYC
With decentralized exchanges, even the said low fee chains are likely going to hit a bit on you. You might feel the fee when you do actual trades and that's what's saving you from doing it in centralized exchanges like Binance. Thing here is where you're comfortable doing the trades, you can choose whatever you want and do an actual experiment on what's costing you less for the fees and what's saving you more. The rate could literally vary as that's what most of the exchanges, cexes and dexes differs in most cases.
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be watchful it's not yet time on: August 08, 2023, 11:09:56 PM
Many people fall for those even today. I think there should be some sort of "entry to crypto 101" type of class everyone must take if they want to start trading or investing into cryptocurrencies.
As much as that should be a requirement for exchanges, they want the fastest way for people to get into them deposit and then have their respective trades.

It's obvious that too many people get in without knowing much about anything and that results with not great returns.
A sad truth that many wants to get involved in the market and do it the quickest that they can without learning the basics and gets down too quickly without knowing that much of what they're entering. The risk is greater with that approach and basically they're aware of the results that might not be good for them.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 08, 2023, 10:27:46 PM
Quote
They are locked into Lebron and AD and both are older and on the downward trajectory of theor careers.
This is so true. It cannot get better. I don't understand what Lakers are doing and what are they thinking for the next 2-3 years.
It's simple, they've got their own terms and still trust the two. That's why even if they're older, they're putting a bet on that roster and won't change anytime soon or have them traded. As long as they can still see the value in them, they'll continue to work with them until these two are the ones to demand a trade. We do understand that the value of these two are not that at its peak anymore and there are better options. But, that's what Lakers are for, they're impressed with what just happened on the last season when they're actually in the deepest and still managed to the play-in/playoffs.
Let's think this way: if the Lakers had beaten the Nuggets in the WCF, they would certainly have won the championship. So, probably what the management is thinking is that there's still a chance for both AD and LeBron to win a championship. The roster is still complete, at least with the starters, and they have added more depth, so it's expected to see this team improve next season.

Personally, I don't find any problem with retaining these two. Besides, LeBron is nearing retirement, so they just want to honor what he has done with the Lakers before his retirement. Having LeBron on the team also makes the Lakers more popular, which will result in bigger ticket sales and more views.
Yup, I think that retiring as a Lakers and also being labeled as one of the greatest players with them, that's such an honor. Basically, there are many criteria as to why they're doing that and it's not questionable on their side why they want to retain both. Just as other teams retaining their main stay, there should be no problem if that's decided and soon these two will be passing the torch of the team to the other younger generation and players that they're with together.
