301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin | Scrypt N | Beat ASIC on: June 09, 2014, 12:14:09 AM
This guy is not trolling, calling fud instead of replying with logical answers is childish, at best.
All I'm gonna say.

Hi, I've been using this pool without a problem for a long time, but recently I switched one of my rigs to X13 and left the other two at Scrypt-N.
I failed to notice I had the same worker name on both ports at once...I changed it recently but I'm not getting the payouts one would expect from 7 r9 280x cards and 4 r9 290s...
I only got 0.083 btc or so, and it's been a week already.

Can you double check this?
My rigs have really good uptime in general and they've been sending shares since last Sunday.

Thanks.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTL] Bitleu - Romanian investment cryptocurrency - ASIC-MultiPool proof ! on: June 08, 2014, 08:42:37 PM
Or if enough people feel like it there can be a hard fork...I think the dev team and main contributors can work some more on the technical and promotion side to make BTL shine, it still has a chance.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin | Scrypt N | Beat ASIC on: June 08, 2014, 08:39:21 PM

A funny sign, LTC is going down even faster than VTC...VTC might still have a shot, LTC's screwed for all I know.

Do we have coins for testing or do we have to request some?

I'm on the members' spreadsheet...

Thanks.

EDIT: found the tx...now to test the client.  Cool

750 ti can mine a lot of other coins faster than an r9 290 too...just not scrypt and scrypt-n...and no x13 for now, but well.
It's the ultimate mining card, in every possible way.

With the proceeds you can go and buy vertcoin and get more vert per day that way.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] YACoin ongoing development on: June 07, 2014, 04:10:56 AM
uTC guys are whack...

I'll still mine and dump it if it gets to n factor 14 anytime soon.

What about merge mining monero or others with fantomcoin Beave?
That HAS to be the most profitable cpu coin...even with Christian's monster nvidia miner out there.

Another thing I love about this yacoin community... someone is always on top of new developments. I guess I have to wait for this fantomcoind to synchronize? Are you merge mining fantomcoin, ivan? I'm wondering best way to calculate profitability with it.

Let's say the block reward settles and YAC is by far the most profitable. One would think that would garner some (newfound) serious attention and interest...

Yacoin is far easier to setup than cryptonight, and the publicly available gpu miner software is fair and free for all to use, unlike the private gpu miners which are far more optimized compared to the publicly available one for monero and co.

Although monero is an interesting alt, the algorithm makes it 100% botnet prey.

I haven't set up fantomcoin merge mining yet, I won't until you can gpu merge mine...don't have enough cpu power for solo mining it vs 999999999999999999 aws instances and a gazillion botnets.

Wow, the are pretty expensive retail.

I wish Asus would put 2 or 4 750Ti cores on one card and call it MARS IV or whatever.

I'd buy a dozen. Price doesn't matter Wink

Christian

This would be uber amazing...nvidia multi-purpose crypto asic.

That's my stance with monero as well...

Whitepaper looks real good, has a cool esperanto name and it is the first (big) cryptonight coin come on! :p (bytecoin...never heard of it before so yeah)

Sounds good...I'm back into folding with my main rig.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ASIC-RESISTANT] UltraCoin (UTC) - Ultrafast 6 second transactions!! on: June 06, 2014, 07:22:12 PM
N factor 13 is nice, but 14 will run great on low power cards such as the GT 240 4gb and R7 240 4gb cards (or gtx 750 ti 2gb's)
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] YACoin ongoing development on: June 06, 2014, 07:10:10 PM
Groestl algo coins, probably...or monero?  Roll Eyes

Good read for my fellow nvidia miners Wink

Yessir...currently mining some monero on gpu and cpu to hold, then back to folding at least on cpu.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin | Scrypt N | Beat ASIC on: June 05, 2014, 08:48:39 PM
Indeed, look at Litecoin now...not so slow, and steady decline. Not enough interest in it to absorb the inflation rate.

PPC has a nice approach, destroying tx fees and having a hybrid PoS/PoW minting method.

VTC favors miners, but miners in general want to pay bills and electricity, and maybe make some extra $...they don't care about securing a network or whatever. :/
