I think it's fair to say that Jon Jones changed some of his fighting style because he's aging. It's the same with other champs who manage to defend their belt for a very long time. You no longer see their explosiveness in the octagon like what we used to see. I think GSP is also a good example of this. I remember him being criticized for not finishing his opponents later in his career. He was even being booed before he retired (right after his fight with Hendricks).

As for Adesanya, I'm not sure if he really wants to fight Jones while he's still dominating. He only had one title defense and it was quite disappointing too.

~
Ethereum is like an inflated balloon and has remained in that state ever since the ICO market got destroyed in 2018. If anyone thinks that a new ATH will be reached within the next 2-3 years, then I have to say that he is just day-dreaming. The hype which we had in 2017 is never going to repeat. And worse still, the promoters won't be able to keep ETH alive for too long by propping up the Ethereum 2.0 idea. People are just running out of patience with ETH 2.0. Do they have any concrete plans for that?
Concrete plan? I don't know about that. The last time I checked, released dates are being pushed and proposals from different ethereum devs were being discussed. This is the best I can give you - Ethereum 2.0 Phases

I'm not sure about being inflated since the 2018 crash. It's still a speculative asset like many other coins/tokens. Whether eth will reach new ATH of get close to its previous ATH depends on the launching of eth 2.0 (and bitcoin price of course).

Edit: This thread was recently posted and you might want to follow it too - ETH 2.0 testnet is alive and running
3103  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PH Lending History/Summary (as of Apr. 19, 2020) on: April 19, 2020, 06:23:32 AM
@finaleshot2016 & @cryptoaddictchie can any of you clarify kung magkano ang nabayad / natanggap dito? Is it BTC0.0013 or BTC0.013? Reading the comment, mukhang final payment na siya but the amount stated is kulang for full settlement. Ewan kung typo.

@cabalism13 - regarding your loan & payments to @Coin_trader, hindi ko na sinama yung Php500 sa table dahil hindi na-post sa main lending thread. Just to clarify the balance in the OP, eto yung computation:

Loan - Php4,000
Less:
Partial 1 - 1,995 (2,100 less 5% interest)
Partial 2 - 1,900 (2,000 less 5% interest)
Balance - Php105

^ Hindi pa kasama yung 500 at 2,600 dyan.

3104  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know is someone real and trusted for Bitcoin trading? on: April 18, 2020, 05:18:01 PM
My Question Is, How to trust someone in Bitcoin Transaction?
Lots of people offering Lot's of things but whom to believe and how Huh Huh
Ask for proof that what they are offering is legit. Whether it's good or services, there is always a way to verify like asking photos and other proofs. If you haven't done any deal with that seller/buyer before, you just have to rely on other people's opinion/feedback. If you can't do that, just use escrow as Coyster suggested.

I don't know what's gotten into you but it looks like you are putting too much pressure on yourself. It could be because of that idealism and enthusiasm from your youth or it could be that you are wanting to make a name for yourself. Whatever the reason, understand that you have to put effort to achieve the result that you want. I first heard about this formula from a guest speaker and it's still stuck into my head "Effort = Result" In any field, you are not going to get it in just one sitting (unless you are some monster genius). Keep going until you become good at it. I hope my short answer helps.
3106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum going upwards brace yourself, and simply hodl now. on: April 18, 2020, 04:48:39 PM
So are we gonna see another hype for the upcoming ethereum 2.0 if it continues? Even if it's the highest gaining coin right now, I still think that it's because of Bitcoin. All these altcoin charts becomes useless every time Bitcoin dives. Investors would instantly sell and we have all seen that in the past.

Honestly, I'm more interested on the co-main events than the Ferguson vs Gaethje fight. Because the hype of the match already lose plus the disappointment I felt of cancelled Khabib fight  Undecided. Nonetheless, I'm so excited to see how Cejudo and Nunes dominate their opponents again lol Grin.
There was no hype lost in Ferguson vs Gaethje because the fight was cancelled almost immediately after it was announced  Grin

I haven't heard about Dominic Cruz since his loss to Cody Garbrandt. Talk about being lucky to step in and face Cejudo for the bantamweight title because Jose Aldo is out since his Visa expired.

Nunes has destroyed every legendary figures in women MMA (Rousy, Cyborg, and some others). No disrespect to Spencer but I don't see Nunes dominance ending soon.

I am doubting the legitimacy of your casino (check below comments).

~
The deposit is limited to BTC and LTC, why € currency got involved?

According to their "Banking" policy, only Euro is the accepted currency.
I wonder why they started promoting here, a bitcoin/cryptocurrency community, but don't accept it as payment method yet.

The casino was made 5 days ago.
~
Yeah and if you look at their TOCs, it is updated last January 2020. Huh
I am inclined to believe that they plagiarized this whole thing from another legit casino.

3109  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🎲 Simpledice.com 🎲🔥 - The simplest but most advanced bitcoin dice game on: April 18, 2020, 05:05:37 AM
I wish potential users can access the demo mode without having to sign in. I mean, if they dig it, they will sign in after.

I also tried to sign up using a legit email (protonmail) but your site rejected it and says "The domain of the provided email is blacklisted." Why is that?

~
We have some blacklist of email domains mostly used by abusers and spammers. But protonmail must work, can you please drop a message to support with our email we will check it.
I just tried to sign up again and with no issues this time. Thanks.

It looks like there will be a change in leadership sa DOH.

Senators seek Duque's resignation for 'failure of leadership' amid COVID-19 crisis

They cited the following reasons:
  • Failure of Leadership
  • Negligence
  • Lack of Foresight
  • Inefficiency

Though I think nag-resign na dapat siya nung pumutok ang Dengvaxia, I'm not sure if this is the right time for this move. I would have preferred na after na ng crisis saka panagutin ang lahat ng may pagkukulang kasi baka maapektuhan lalo ang implementation ng policies to fight COVID-19 but these lawmakers probably have seen enough.

How does the lightening Network helps to solve these frictions in bitcoin transactions?
My simple answer is that transactions are done off-chain. They will only be broadcasted to the blockchain when a channel is opened/closed.

You should probably read The Lightning Network FAQ's
3113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Boogle Coin, Are they Google? Lets Discuss. on: April 15, 2020, 04:11:16 AM
They are actually real and being traded on Digifinex  Grin
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/boogle/markets/

The domain has been around since 1999 according to whois, that's two years after google was registered. I can't find any article that says Google sued Boogle since 1999 so I guess it was legal.

I bet Boogle was purchased or someone partnered with the original owner to turn it into another Brave/BAT project.

3115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the difference between Online and Physical casinos? on: April 14, 2020, 06:58:53 AM
This question pop out on my mind after I watch a video of Poker tournament on a physical casino, I guess playing physically really have some difference, we can consider the pressure from the crowd and of course, your opponent himself. There are so many factors to consider while playing online you can relax and think carefully.
I doubt that you can have the relaxation just from the comfort of your home when you are playing. Yes, the opponents can't see your body language and you can't be pressured by their "killer eyes" but that goes for everyone. It's part of the game to read your opponent and with the body language factor gone, it also becomes harder for you to read their move.

That Video I watch, the opponent is being bluffed by going all-in with 0 to 100 odds in favor of his opponent but his opponent fold because of the pressure. ~
This could have happened also even if it was done online. The player who folded thought the other guy has a stronger hand that's why they folded. The opponent can still put pressure on you whether the game was held on physical casinos or online casinos.
3116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: April 14, 2020, 06:46:50 AM
Is rolling Dice considered as gambling? I've been playing with some Doge and, right now, it is looking just like a regular video game that you play when you are bored because of the quarantine Grin I've been able to manage/control my gambling habits but with too much time in from of mobile/pc/laptop, the longest break is less than 12 hours.

3117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any good new staking coins coming on the market? on: April 14, 2020, 06:18:38 AM
There were plenty of POS coins in the 1-10 price range back in the 2017 and I even tried a couple of them. What happened is that they ended up being dead or had some issues with transitions that made the community leave the project.

Taking a gamble on low cap POS coins is too risky but if you insist, how about you check them on websites like https://poslist.org/ ?
3118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another Exchange got hacked on: April 14, 2020, 06:04:37 AM
Another crypto exchange got hacked and this time the victim is Bisq, a trading platform that has temporarily ceased all its trading services that unfortunately cost users at least $250,000 in digital funds, ~
This is old news, the hack happened a few days ago. The Bisq devs were able to fix the flaw and the exchange is already back in operation.
For those looking for the full story, here's the article https://www.coindesk.com/hacker-exploits-flaw-in-decentralized-exchange-bisq-to-steal-250k

~
is there no year gone by withouth a crypto exchange getting hacked? This one weaks me, will this ever stop?
As long as there are hackers and there are flaws in an exchange system, funds will be stolen. Having a high security in place is a must for all exchanges but it is unlikely that hackers will be stopped all the time.

What happened to Bisq proves that even decentralized exchanges, whom most of us thought as more secure, are also prone to hacks. It's a lesson that we shouldn't trust DEX developers too much. It is encouraged that we also educate ourselves on how to read codes. No system is 100% safe.
3119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Trust Wallet! on: April 13, 2020, 05:55:10 AM
~
Do you think it is secure enough?

Well, I haven't read an article that says the wallet has been breached. Take note though that no wallet is secure enough if the owner is careless when it comes to security. If you are going to use this, turn on the two factor authentication. Make sure your also that your device is not compromised and don't just download any apps (even from google play/play store).

If you don't know yet, Trust wallet is a non-custodial wallet which means you have control of your seed phrase/private key (and funds) but it's also a closed source wallet (for android). Most tech savvy users here prefer to use open source wallets.
3120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers are betting on Trotting and Marbles due to Coronavirus on: April 13, 2020, 05:37:18 AM
I can't read the article. Can you quote it?

I'm not familiar with Trotting, is it the same with Harness racing? It appears that it has been around for a very long time and it's popular among early Europeans.

Anyway, gamblers will always be gamblers. If there's a platform and there's an event to bet on, some will always try to wager be it Trotting, Marbles, and other not-so-popular games/sports.
