Baka pwede na ma-unlock itong thread - [Off-Topics] Pilipinas para iisa lang.

O mas preferred ang separate thread for each topic na unrelated sa crypto or financial in general at palitan (off-topic)?

edit: Kakapansin ko lang na disabled ang signature dito. Ayos.

Edit: I spent last 10 to 15 minutes to find the tweet but it's not there: https://twitter.com/rohangrey/with_replies
Please post me the link if anyone has.
Most likely deleted when someone corrected him.

That particular tweet is probably related to the Stablecoin Tethering & Bank Licensing Enforcement (STABLE) Act. I think he's comparing full nodes to banks where funds are being channeled to.

I'm not sure if he's trolling but he doesn't know what he's talking about for sure.
2123  Economy / Gambling / Re: CSGO500 - $17000 Christmas Raffle + $62500 Scavenger Hunt - Wheel & Casino on: December 03, 2020, 05:43:13 PM
No, but maybe you triggered our antifraud. Send me your CSGO500 ID/SteamID and I'll see what's up.
Support responded and fixed the error.

What I see now is a pop up message that I have to make a deposit before I can claim it and I wasn't expecting that. Any deposit would do?

@UserU youu got yourself a new ref  Wink

We don't have a deposit bonus mechanism for select users yet, but anyone that has an account can redeem the code "BITCOINTALK" (top right of the deposit page) and they'll get 10.000 BUX added to their balance (~$6).
The code has 50 uses - Enjoy.
I'm getting an error when I entered the code. Was I too late?

This was a very nice greeting btw Grin
You have been banned. Hah. Just kidding.

Hi,

I'm the owner of CSGO500 - I haven't thought about creating a thread in Bitcointalk. I knew about this community, but it hasn't crossed my mind for some reason.
Welcome to Bitcointalk. Since @UserU introduced you here (and probably invited you to this thread), maybe you can make him your representative or promoter? Just throwing the idea there.

~ If you have any issues feel free to reach out to me here, Twitter (@TheSuspect500) or contact our Support team on-site.
I checked your website at the time it's under a quick maintenance as I said above but that's been resolved.

Anyway, this is not an issue but how about a little promotion like deposit bonus for new players like us? As you can read from previous comments, not many here knew about your platform despite operating since 2016.

Never knew about them. Do they have an old thread here?

I checked the site and greeted with "wheel be back".

The code was sneaky. Now I get why this topic

2128  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - asu u=519783 on: December 03, 2020, 02:27:01 PM
~
Contacting Law Enforcement in the Philippines could be helpful.
I did some reading (I'm not a lawyer or a law student). asu's loan could be classified as small claims because the value does not exceed 300K or 400K in Philippine Peso.

BTC0.3 * $20,000 * PHP50/dollar = PHP300,000 though I doubt the basis of conversion would be in $20K. The rate would probably be at the time the loan was granted/sent.

Small claims in the Philippines are considered as civil cases. The procedure is much simpler and less expensive compared to criminal cases which is good in a way but the entire procedure could still be tedious for a foreigner like you.

8. Can lawyers appear in the hearing?

Lawyers are not allowed to appear in behalf of or represent a party.

9. Can a representative appear in the hearing?

Yes, provided that appearance by representative is for a valid cause and the representative must be a relative of the individual party and NOT a lawyer. Furthermore, the representative must be armed with a Special Power of Attorney.

Needless to say, you'll have to come here personally and file a case.
2129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction can be lost? forever stuck transaction in mempool on: December 03, 2020, 01:48:33 PM
I guess it's common when the market price of bitcoin is pumping just like what happened at the end of 2017.
Not this again! How does your price theory explain that between the 20th and 30th of November we had less than one day with fees over 50sat/b? Common, let me know how that fits with your scenario!
Grin Was it also you who said it was tiresome to explain this subject over and over? I read it some days ago but I can't remember who.

I guess not everyone is willing to read on the effect of hashrate and difficulty adjustments on the transaction fees.

If Facebook launches LIBRA then nobody will invest in it
Facebook won't be launching Libra as the group is going to rebrand to Diem and the target launch is next year (source)

Roll Eyes Get a job and put your money where your mouth is. Buy bitcoin from your salary and trade. That way, you won't need to beg or talk about tips.

You've no idea how traders use stable coins as already pointed by @Jawhead999. They (27 firms) won't need the community to invest because it's not something that will pump in price. They only need them to use it just like how USDT, DAI, USDC, and other stable coins.

2132  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Peter helping bitcoin pump? on: December 03, 2020, 12:21:15 PM
That's just the typical Peter Schiff. He knows a lot about bitcoin yet can't accept those facts that he knew.
Which I find odd actually. Gold must be too boring now that he has a lot of time monitoring what's happening to bitcoin price and adoption.

Why not he tries to attack and give his bias through those companies that just adopted bitcoin and showing interest that they'll use it in their platform in the future?
Maybe he's criticizing them indirectly. He's also tweeting about Grayscale but not the institutional investors partnered with it.

On another note, here's one reason why he's fuming against CNBC:

In an interview with CNBC, BlackRock CIO says ‘Bitcoin will take the place of gold to a large extent' (video)

In a seprate interview, Blackrock CEO says:
Bitcoin has caught the attention and the imagination of many people. Still untested, pretty small relative to other markets.

Can it evolve into a global market? Possibly.

Man United will likely win today's match against PSG.
I hope so.

~ I think PSG will win tonight and set up a cracking last game for all the teams;
For sure that's what most neutral fans would like but I hope not as a bettor.

~
I want to bet on  Inter Milan.
They already played yesterday and won.

~ I can't trust this team.
You can't trust any team when you are gambling. I was confident Inter would lose draw or lose yesterday but they surprised me.

Group H

Man U vs. PSG
RBL vs. IBFK

RBL will most likely get all 3 points and have a total of 9.

And if PSG wins at Old Trafford, it will be:
Man U - 9
PSG - 9
RBL - 9

Assuming that ^ happens, I expect PSG to move to the next round as they face IBFK on match day 6. Man U and RBL will be a do-or-die match  Grin

This contest is not about losses but a negative streak. As mentioned in OP a negative streak is when all your bets crash below 1.99x
My bad. I misunderstood that rule.

@Bttzed03 you can post your btc address or PM me the same to receive the amount.
Thanks! I wasn't expecting to win tbh.

2137  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Negative Streak Contest | 0.001 BTC up for grabs on: December 01, 2020, 05:16:28 PM
I'm pretty sure I had more than 10 consecutive loses before I stopped betting but I don't know how to view them all as bc.game only allows me to view the last 10. It was on auto bet btw.
Your screenshot doesn't show if the bets crashed at less than 2x
That's what I see on the screen. It's kinda tough to really get what you're asking as different platforms have different ways of showing personal bets history.

The only other way now is to provide a screenshot of every bet like this:

^ Roll is 2.22x but my multiplier bet is 10x which means I lost.

But even if I send you a screenshot of the remaining 9 bets as show in my previous post, how to verify that all my multiplier is 10X Huh Some of the rolls were under 1.99x

Hey @BC.GAME, sorry if this is kinda simplistic but how do I view my other bets in a game (Crash for example)? I can only see the last 10 but I want to check even the previous ones.

Your bet should be equal to more than 2.00x
Can you clarify this rule? Is the multiplier limited to 2x only or we can increase it to 10x for example?

I'm currently playing on bc.game, the same platform where I had a 100 rolls losing streak for 100x multiplier  Grin
