2161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now in deep now what future traders need to follow? on: November 26, 2020, 12:55:28 PM
Now i noticed that market condition is soo much dangerous.
Price is going down but it's not as dangerous as you think it is. I don't know why but it seems people sell their btc during "Black Friday" (happens every year from what I remember).

Now what can we do so that we can't in loss plus we need your suggestion so that in future we can handle that type of situation easily. Now what you want to suggest us?
Don't panic.

Here are some of the points you need to see:
  • More and more institutional investors are buying bitcoin. There is a stronger support now compared to the 2017 bull run.
  • We are in the year of the halving and based on past performances, price tends to shoot up even more the next year.

And yeah, if you have extra funds, BTFD (Buy The Fucking Dip).

2162  Other / Off-topic / Re: 5g Dual Sim Android Phone with additional microSD slot recommendations? on: November 26, 2020, 12:11:10 PM
You can't have it all it seems.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has all the features (including 1TB capacity) you want except the dual sim with extra slot for microSD card.

Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G lets you use 3 SIMs, or 2 SIMs and a microSD card "but you will only be able to keep the eSIM and SIM slot 1 active at the same time".

Asus Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro are both dual sims with dedicated slot for microSD card but I don't know the capacity.

Thanks for the input @tyKiwanuka

I was getting greedy and almost went for +0.75 but I had to pull back because of the injury woes you mentioned. It's always nice to have a one goal insurance with pretty high odds, +1 Shakthar at 2.19 it is Grin

One parlay and one single, I'm done for tonight's games.
2164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 25, 2020, 01:29:56 PM
~ Many gamblers have won quite some money yesterday so let’s hope today the same is repeated.
Yup, me included. I had two separate parlays for last night's matches and both won.

^ That means I have more freedom to play with my bets tonight. Done betting parlay on Ajax-Man City-Bayern Mun-Atletico Mad-Liverpool wins at 4.26  Grin

I'm still pondering on single betting for Shakhtar Donetsk at 6. Is Borussia Monchengladbach really that good? I don't know this team. I'm avoiding too close to call matches like Inter vs. RM and Marseille vs. Porto.

~ Blockchain are asking me to pay the uk Capital Gains tax upfront of just over 5G. Is this normal practise or is it not.
I find this strange. Regardless of the amount, are they asking you to pay them or they're asking to deduct the supposed CGT from the sales proceeds?
  • If it's the former, that would be the first I've heard of and I don't think that's right.
  • If it's the latter, that's not uncommon for transactions involving capital assets but this is is still the first I've heard for crypto CGT.
It might help if you ask their support what specific tax provision in the UK that mandates blockchain.com to withhold or act as a withholding agent.

For reference, you can also check this https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/tax-on-cryptoassets/cryptoassets-for-individuals

Disclaimer: I don't know much about UK taxation on cryptocurrencies.

I'm also with others that Luckybit hasn't taken anything from you because you haven't met the requirements. I understand your frustration though especially if you are a legit player going after the reward.

Can you address this?
  • yahoo: OP hasn't made any deposit since September
  • OP: My latest deposit is Oct. 8

My first impression is yes, under 1.5 since Blaydes' last 3 out of 5 bouts finished under 1.5 and same with Lewis.  But also have a gut feeling that it's a trap line.  Dunno..
Yeah why do we have that same gut feel. It's the reason that I didn't pick them as fight of the night. Something tells me that both fighters will be cautious in the early rounds and they'll just end up swinging for the fences while catching their breath later on Grin

Stil undecided but we'll see if the odds remain or goes higher.

Moving forward from the "LUTO", what are your thoughts for game four? Close out games can get tricky because no teams are ready to be eliminated yet. GSM is understandably the favorite but I'm not sure why Phoenix is coming off as an underdog. Are bookies thinking of Matthew Wright's ankle issue here? Regardless, I hope they don't collapse from the TNT pressure.
2170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 24, 2020, 03:26:36 PM
That looks fun @tokeweed  Grin You have the lowest chance to win that parlay but I'm choosing Anthony Smith vs. Devin Clark as fight of the night just in case.

I'm still undecided whether I put a single bet on Blaydes or Lewis. I might just go with the no. of rounds. I'm liking the odds for under 1.5 at 2.37 so far.

2171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 24, 2020, 03:12:02 PM
Placed a 10€ combo for today:

Manchester United vs Basaksehir, PSG vs Leipzig and Dortmund vs Club Brugge
I also made the same bet (apart from the fact that I make 2 euros, so it is only for recreational purposes)
I was planning Man U-Dortmund-Chelsea parlay and have PSG on Single ML instead but I'm just gonna follow yours just this time for $9+ (Total odds at 2.79) Best of luck to all of us Grin

Dynamo Kyiv vs. Barcelona is tricky. A lot key players are missing but they have bench warmers who are hungry and willing to prove themselves every rare chance that they get.

3. There was a dominance of Asian investors and money in 2017 and now with PayPal, CME, Square more money is coming from America.
do you have any data to back this up or is it your personal guess?
i am curious because i still see bitcoin grow all around the world the same as before, in Asia or any other continent.
The only catalyst in the Asian market that I could think of was when the Japanese Financial Services Agency allowed some exchanges to operate under their watchful eyes. This was in addition to Japan's legally accepting bitcoin as a form of currency earlier that year. The news on Japanese exchanges also came after the Chinese government ban on ICOs.

I received an email containing a free coupon the other day for the Nitto ATP Men's Final (Tennis for those who are unaware) but I was unable to use it unfortunately. I would have lost either way because I would have gone for Thiem. Still it was a nice gesture from Bitsler and looking forward to receiving more in the future  Grin

I think that today will win the Crystal Palace and Wolves...
I bet on the victory of Crystal Palace with odd 2.7... I do not understand why the odds between Burnley and the Crystal Palace are the same...
Crystal Palace is understandable pick but why Wolves? Is it because they are playing at home? I don't think it's that much of an advantage at this time. The odds aren't the same from what I see on Bitsler but they're close. It's not a problem if they're identical.

My bet: DNB for Crystal Palace and Southampton (Parlay at 4.07).

My answer from questions 1 to 21 is BTC (letter B)

From 1-1 to 1-2 real quick  Grin

I had to redo my comment (at 1-1). Villa is now back at 7.75.
2179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 21, 2020, 03:48:07 PM
I'm tempted to place a bet on Bayern Munich at 2.4 but with almost 60 minutes gone and their opponent seems to be playing better, I don't think they can mount a comeback. A draw at 3.2 seems a good option but Werder Bremen is likely to have another one  Grin

edit: 1-1 Now I'm having regrets  Grin
2180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 21, 2020, 03:39:03 PM
~ I'm still waiting for Brighton to get the results they deserve.  They been playing well but it hasn't really translated with their results so far.
They might fulfill your wish as they are now leading 1-0

What do you think about Totehnham - Man City? Totenham plays very well recently - 4 wins in last 5 league matches
and Man City only 2 wins and 3 ties.. but Man City in last years was better; so IMO very interesting match. Hard to be sure who win
Ignore the "last years" because it has zero bearing in this game. They're not a team that's feared just because of their past performances.

It could go down to which team is more patient. I don't know but I'm expecting a lot of fouls and yellow cards in this match.
