Russia is Blitzkrieg'ing ALL of Ukraine's major cities. I changed my mind on Putin, he is kind of a dick. (even though WW3 is the result of the USA meddling in foreign countries all these years for their own national interests and pushing Russia into a corner)

Taiwan will be soon taken by China, mark my words.

Looks like WW3. Not even joking.

....So... Putin just invaded Donbass.

Also, those who say why not bet on this if you are too sure, I don't trade. I look for opportunities to buy.
Saying that does not make it look like you're sure of yourself.

People won't take your "TA" seriously especially if you have nothing at stake yourself.

Your pseudo-TA bearish Bitcoin FUD is going to make enemies for you here. We are all staked in Bitcoin and we don't like to see people spreading FUD about Bitcoin. That FUD might scare weak hands into selling their bags and then hating Bitcoin because they lost money.
3124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: February 23, 2022, 05:30:50 PM

The undercards on this fight are now confirmed. More to be filled in.

Lightweight
Isaac Cruz (22-2-1, 15 KO) vs Yuriorkis Gamboa (30-4, 18 KO)

Welterweight
Radzhab Butaev (14-0, 11 KO) vs Eimantas Stanionis (13-0, 9 KO)

Source

Current Odds: Errol Spence -350 | Yordenis Ugas +275

Source

Thanks for this, old name pops up, Yuri Gamboa, lol, it seems this dude really needs a paycheck before he retires, and now he is being used as a stepping stone for Isaac Cruz. Gamboa might be knock out here.

For the odds, no surprises here, Ugas might be used to be the underdog in the fight.

But let's see, the fight is just several weeks from know and maybe their training is already on it's peak.

I'm not really interested in the underdog, I'm solely watching the fight to see the main event and I think it will be a one-sided fight as Spence will certainly dominate Ugas here. the odds is so bad for Spence, I am not gonna take it, instead I will go for the KO on per round basis as It gives a fair odds.

Do you mean the undercard?

Well, that's really up to you, if you were able to subscribe to the PPV, then might as well enjoy all the games because the subscription is not that cheap, unless you can watch it for free.  Spence vs Ugas is really a good treat to us because it's a unification fight, lots of belts are at stake here.

I think he might be  talking about +270 underdog as in Ugas will be in the disadvantage and if he somehow manages to win, it will only count as an unexpected event in which Ugas "finally catches a break". They are just trying to push the underdog thing to make betting on Ugas appear more attractive.  Spence is being given a 80% chance of winning, which I personally think is an underestimation to be honest.

Ugas does not have any chance of winning this. Spence (27-0, 21 KO).
3125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: February 23, 2022, 04:28:27 PM
Obviously Golovkin vs Murata is going to proceed as a sure thing for Golovkin and I think Murata knows it. Maybe thats the real reason behind the constant unending reschedules and waiting. Murata wants to put things off indefinitely because he can't really win against GGG.

I also find it quite amusing that all 26 voters voted for GGG in this thread's poll. Amusing but not surprising. I may be wrong for the reason why its being rescheduled but thats just my take on things.

Has there been any news from Murata on this?

3127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia's approval of BTC on: February 23, 2022, 03:31:37 PM
Russia has already said that while it is "legalising Bitcoin", it still is not accepting Bitcoin for payments. So basically Russia is on the right track but this all is just a pseudo legalisation. And Ukraine is incredibly poor, so, not that big of a bull move legalising Bitcoin. Notably, the both bills do not recognize Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as legal tender.

All in all, people in Russia and Ukraine were buying and mining Bitcoin before, and are still doing so now. The only things that have changed are the new regulations and the perspective that it will become legal tender in those countries someday.

I don't want to risk waxing prophetic or anything, but I just wanted to remind some of you folk, that I will actually be in a position to handle a pasture of real, live bulls, in about thirty days, so, put that in your pipe and smoke it kinda deal... i guess...

Teacher, what must I do to have eternal life?

Do not commit any of the 10 sins of Bitcoin

1.  You shall not sell Bitcoin.
2.  You shall not commit shitcoinery.
3.  You shall not steal
4.  You shall not bear false witness against Bitcoin.
5.  You shall not covet your neighbor’s coins.
6.  Honor Blockchain and Satoshi Nakamoto
7.  You shall not take the name of Bitcoin in vain.
8.  You shall not trade false coins.
9.  You shall have no other coins before Bitcoin.
10. Only accept Bitcoin as your money.
3129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banning Bitcoin is Like Banning the Internet, Says Russia’s Finance Minister on: February 22, 2022, 04:45:47 PM
It is generally known that the Russian Central Bank’s stance is to ban crypto-assets, cryptocurrencies, arguing that they creates risks, primarily for citizens, and financial institutions, banks, and create an obscure settlement market.

But, Anton Siluanov (Russia’s Financial Minister) believes that banning cryptocurrencies is like banning the internet. He argued that although the risks the Central Bank is raising are understandable, but he once again reiterated that banning the sector is considerably worse than regulating it.

There are still debates on this issue and President Putin have encouraged the two financial bodies to find a solution to the deadlock.

https://cryptopotato.com/banning-bitcoin-is-like-banning-the-internet-says-russias-finance-minister/

I don't believe that I am the only one who understood what the Russian finance minister meant by "banning Bitcoin is Like banning the Internet". Obviously, to me, it means as much as "its impossible to ban Bitcoin just like it is as impossible to ban Bitcoin". So anyone talking about banning Bitcoin is just proclaiming something that they cannot follow up on and never had the ability to ban it in the first place.

Its all just a bunch of talk.

Thats just my take on it.

But I am glad that someone as important as Russia's finance minister is backing Bitcoin Grin
3130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun alone? how true? on: February 22, 2022, 03:36:38 PM
Gamblers their choice. Everyone comes into gambling with different motives so respecting their choice is best be it for fun or for the money it's a personal decision because if it turns out negative the bear the consequences alone and if it's positive many will want to associate with the wins so it's a choice

Everyone is indeed responsible for their own choices and they all react differently to the different outcomes of those said choices. But then again everyone is a different person with a different personality.  I for example do not mind losing small amounts for fun. Because thats what gambling is to me, basically just fun. But then again, I am not someone who would bet his lifes savings for anything.

So I guess it really depends on how hardcore you are willing to go.

Of course, winning hundreds of thousands of USD is way more exciting than winning few hundred bucks, but that does anyone really care about having fun at that point? At that point its basically an obsession, unless you are rich. Then its relative fun.
3131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 22, 2022, 01:17:40 PM
Once upon a time people thought Walker could defeat Jon Jones today proves its just not the case. Its heck of a fall for him. Its a one punch knockout. I think his legs will dance on its own if he had gotten up quickly. It'd be more embarassing. Jahamal saved him from that by throwing another hit on the ground. Lost some of my bets but sure made big win thanks to Hill.

That might be a bit of a illogical statement, if you look at the fight experience between Jahamal and Walker. Its obvious to me that this might have been a one-time, lucky win. Jahamal Hill's reaction to the "amazing knockout" on the UFC post show really just goes to show that he himself was quite surprised about the event. He was not really expecting it himself. Although, Hill's 10-1 wins/losses are nothing to scoff at.

Maybe Walker just had a bad day or got unlucky, who knows? These things happen in any sport, especially a close contact one like boxxing. Maybe its just me as a Walker fan who has the wrong notions but I still see it as a lucky fluke.

Lets see how Hill does in his next fight.
In this case, athletes go through different stages that affect them psychologically, sometimes the state of mind can determine if a fighter is fit or not for a fight, according to this it may be that if he is somewhat low in spirit, sad or worried greatly affects the moment of fighting, of course a knockout is not far from the possibility of happening, for now I would expect more fights from him, not all are good days, the truth is that the knockout was impressive.

Oh you are completely and utterly correct in your assumption that the knockout was impressive. You very rarely get to witness a knockout that beautiful. Knockouts themselves are quite rare, even with the most professional boxxers with years of training behind their belt. And Jahamal Hill is far from a boxxing legend with astonishing experience, which in itself, makes the knockout even more impressive.

As far as psychological evaluation goes in boxing? Its really more like a questionaire that nobody bothers to check. Or at least it seems that way to me.

3132  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: February 21, 2022, 07:59:23 PM
We have heard all the news about countries deciding to make bitcoin as legal, the latest being Russia and Ukraine as they both are also in some political problem. Obviously with this new statement that has been made on bitcoin status in those countries, it could be regulated by the government.
What is your expectation of bitcoin ?

Currently my only expectation is war FUD and all whales who gleefully try to help push down the price so they can put themselves into a desirable position to buy even more Bitcoin. After that I think we will probably see a huge and steady rise to over 100k especially once Russia starts giving crypto more attention. Although we may have reached a good bottom to buy in at already. Either way, I don't think its wise to panic sell over any oncoming news anytime soon.

Thats just my thoughts on the matter. #Stronghands
3133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to calculate Gross gaming revenue for online casino on: February 21, 2022, 06:54:33 PM
The basics of the of your mathematical formulae foundation seem to be fine, however I feel that such a simplistic way of revenue calculation might not be optimal. Unless we are talking about a very simple skeleton of an online casino, there should be a few more additions to be concerned about. Maybe not now but definitely in the future, when your casino goes big. Perhaps if you were to add a few variables in your equations like bonuses, rebates/discounts, referral payments.

The small things do add up, over time.
3134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun alone? how true? on: February 21, 2022, 03:37:18 PM
Have you heard that some people gamble for fun and not necessarily to make money?

I find it hard to believe completely because who doesn't like to make some more money even if it is not needed.

If you knew the exact sum you were going to loose gambling, and you are the type that they say " gambles for fun", will you find it fun loosing that money still? will you return another day in awareness of how much you will loose and still want to loose for fun?

The very point of gambling is solely fun. Whether its fun because you win money, because you enjoy the risk of losing/winning with something at stake or whether you just enjoy the gambling lifestyle itself. Everytime you gamble its a huge dopamine rush, even before you know whether or not you have lost or won.

So yeah, basically all of gambling is for the very sake of fun. Prove me wrong. I have yet to meet someone who gambles and hates it. Perhaps gambling addicts who don't know when to stop betting? But thats a minority just like for everything that can be addictive.

I certainly like it for fun. Roll Eyes

3136  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: February 20, 2022, 04:39:40 PM
Thats really not to say that there are no vulnerabilities in gambling websites that are experienced, have good security and know what to look out for. I believe that almost every single gambling website has certain problem areas that can result in vulnerability hacks. The newer exchanges just have a much higher chance of having more of them as well as having teams that do not understand how to protect their site...

As long as it is a legit website with KYC, your missing funds will always be legally returned to you, in the event of a hack. The website bears full responsibility for that.

Now, untrustworthy sketchy websites on the other hand....Good luck getting your money back.
3137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still not satisfied with crypto games on: February 20, 2022, 03:25:26 PM
Getting bored with crypto gaming projects, I'd like to make money out of something fun to play but with crypto games it's really about the money you will make out of the games, I've not seen real good game Devs utilizing the power of blockchain or maybe it's my taste of games that im used to, I just still prefer spending more time on my Xbox than crypto games because it's more fun than crypto games

I think its mostly because crypto games are just way too new and underdeveloped to be able to compete with the traditional gaming market. Once we start making better/more complex smart contracts that can really integrate into good games, we will only see some better stuff.

But then again, I think the only reason they are "boring" is because we compare them to traditional games that are way more developed over the years.

Blockchain as it currently is, might just be not complex enough. Or perhaps we haven't thought of a good way to make a good, new, never before seen game with blockchain technology.

3139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: February 19, 2022, 03:10:42 PM
I can't believed that Garcia has choosen Joe Goosen as his trainer for this fight. I mean he has been with Eddy Reynoso, the trainer of Canelo Alvarez and it seems he is doing good for Ryan and Alvarez and Garcia is very close.

That's why I was surprised to see Canelo criticizing Garcia at one point. Maybe he already severed his tie with Reynoso or if this is just a one time trainer with Goosen.

There should be no bitterness or something related to that. Everything changes or unexpected things really happened. Regardless of the history or issues with the trainer, the important part is, if they will be a big help to those who hired their service.

Ryan Garcia, whatever the reason he made that selection should not be a problem.

Let's see at some point if their tandem will make Ryan a much better fighter.

I didn't say though that there is bitterness from Ryan Garcia, I'm just surprised by the move and then seeing Canelo going into public and saying things against Garcia might have been the trigger point.

@Kasabus - yeah, for sure this will be a test for Garcia, but I don't think that the rounds an be extended. I'm seeing Garcia maybe winning by less than 8 rounds?

I could support your claim that of Garcia winning by less than 8 rounds, however I think it might be cutting it tight, seeing as you are underestimating Emmanuel Tagoe by quite a lot.

And as to bitterness, I would claim that there is always a certain bitterness in the air, as this fight as any fight always has a certain amount of personal feelings. Especially with the trainer history as it is.

In fact, hiring the trainer might have been motivated by personal feelings if anything.
3140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I can't access a casino while my country isn't got blacklisted? on: February 19, 2022, 02:24:54 PM
Hi fellow gamblers,

I live in a country where gambling is actually legal, but due to some religions that consider gambling is illegal... gambling is pretty strict in my country but it's still allowed if you play on licensed casino, that's just my story.

Well, I've seen so many online casino in this forum and it's really attract me to play. But I don't know why I can't access the casino, while I can access the other casinos. My internet connection is good and my country doesn't got blacklisted by the casino, what's the problem then? Does this because my internet service provider, what should I do to solve this?

I wouldn't play with VPN since it's breaking their rules, I'm really looking to solve this. It's really sad when you want to play on specific casino but there's a barrier obstructing your desire. I know there's an alternative casinos, but I have some personal reason to play in specific casino...

Now, I would not want to give you any faulty advice, however I am not aware of anyone getting caught or banned because of using any VPN services. So as far as using a VPN goes, it should be safe.

Is it even possible to tell if you are using a VPN unless a lot of people use the same VPN or if the VPN services and their IPs are public knowledge? Hard to tell, really. I would recommend doing some research on the VPN servers to find out whether or not they are detectable. Perhaps withdraw all your accounts funds first, make a new account and play around with at most, tiny amounts to see if you get detected.

Its risky but I think you don't have many other options.
