3141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: August 16, 2021, 09:40:28 PM
I'm hoping there will be an alternative to Ethereum that is as good as or better than Ethereum. Gas costs have risen to the point where I can't even sell some coins for cash. I'm no longer able to utilize Ethereum as a Bitcoin substitute; I'm hoping that things will improve in the future.
Bitcoin substitute?

You have eyes, but you are too stubborn to see the truth. Why all the wailing and mourning about Ethereum, yet the solution is right there in front of you. Right now, Bitcoin transaction fee rates are so cheap and the mempool isn't even congested. All that matters is the size of your transaction inputs and outputs.

3142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost my tokens trying to transfer USDT from binance to exmarket on: August 16, 2021, 09:31:30 PM
There's no way of you recovering the USDT apart from the owners of the exmarket exchange that have access to the private keys. There's actually a working way to recover your USDT BSC form the Ether address, but only if the owners of exmarket cooperated.

So no one can help you here except them.

You should be very careful next time when transferring tokens and try to read instructions instead of rushing. The warnings are always there right in the withdrawal page and deposite page.
3143  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinmamba's saddest action but it is lesson for beginners on: August 16, 2021, 06:32:10 PM
What works for others may not work for you, and what works for you might not work for others. Sometimes you may just happen to buy the right coin at the right time and Viola! You get rich a few weeks or months later.

This is why one should never sheepishly follow what people say minus thinking for yourself. When some "influencer' says that he's selling at $3, yoiu shouldn't also just follow what he did without reasoning out for yourself.

So holder win always.[/b]
Not always, the question is what are you holding? How I wish you were around in 2018 to witness how some shitcoins dropped in price to zero value.
3144  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does copper membership limit rank? on: August 15, 2021, 11:50:38 PM

There is your answer, under his posts or replies, you will be able to see his Legendary rank alongside the Copper membership rank. So No, Copper Membership does not limit Rank. The purpose of  copper membership is to have newbie restrictions such as signature space lifted.

3145  Other / Meta / Re: 10th anniversary art contest as NFT on: August 15, 2021, 11:25:39 PM
I expect this event to be worth some after a few years.
The event may be historical, but I doubt if the NFT hype can go on for even more than 3 years. Remember ICOs in 2017. Anybody talking about them now?

I think it isn't necessary, just like the suggestions of creating Bitcointalk token wasn't welcome when someone suggested it, given that this is a Bitcoin forum.
3146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Honeygain legitimate or just another waste of time? on: August 15, 2021, 10:59:37 PM
Have you considered the amount you will be spending on resources such as internet data bundles?

By "sharing your internet" you are basically going to buy data to be able to earn at least $20 which is the withdrawable amount. In the end you might even spend more than you may earn. I think it's a waste of time, except for those using free Wi-Fi.
3147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 5% higher than the market price, buy USDT on: August 13, 2021, 11:58:29 PM
you are the one who's buying USDT?  5% high that the market value? that's rare lol.

are you willing to take escrow?
Didn't you see the number he provided?  Cheesy

I doubt if he will be coming back to this thread looking for responses from potential customers. His aim is to isolate a victim who tried to send him a message through WhatsApp messenger and then trick him into going first minus escrow thereby scamming him.

People like OP don't want to do deals here in public because members will spot his scam attempts in time.
3148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will governments regulate AMMs like Uniswap? on: August 13, 2021, 11:51:08 PM
So long as someone can just wake up and add a line of code overnight without even going through the voting process by the community there by blocking traders from accessing tokens, be it on the frontend. Then the exchange ceases to be decentralized.

If SEC comes knocking, the same folks can add another line of code and bend the rules without thinking twice. Speaking of decentralized exchanges. Remember Etherdelta, a popular "decentralized exchange" whose last nail in the coffin came from SEC when the slapped charges on the owner?
3149  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] heliuminers.com is a Scam site. The real site is helium.com on: August 12, 2021, 11:57:24 PM
(Pile of Garbage)
Now what was your point again?

Your scam site is now offline, and you haven't talked about it?
Why all the useless rants? Business going bad?  Grin Grin Grin

I bet you won't be able to count sats from this forum through you Heliuminers scam Mr @satcounter, will you?
3150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Prices rises - Tx fees stay low? on: August 12, 2021, 11:24:09 PM
Mempool size means nothing. Even during a price drop, the mempool size can become huge, leading to high transaction fees. The current situation is actually normal. We haven't broken through new all-time highs, so why would you expect a spike in fees, just like it was in the 2017 all-time high of 20K?

Personally, I think the bull run is still on until maybe towards the end of this year.
3151  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What's the size of Bitget compared with that of Binance, Bybit and FTX? on: August 12, 2021, 10:55:52 PM
Been trading for almost over 3 years, but it's my first time hearing about Bitget. I don't know how long it has been operational, but with other much more popular exchanges. I wouldn't use it,

I have use Binance for Spot and p2p trading. Experience has been smooth with no major mishaps. Their support is a little slow these days, and the exchange tends to freeze during times of high volatility.

I use Bybit for trading derivatives. Again, smooth experience and withdrawals. The spot market pairs are still very few for people who like spot market trading.
3152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crex24 kicking me out on: August 12, 2021, 10:31:10 PM
Where? No volume for my coins except on crex24.
I know this may not sound a nice idea to you, but I think it's about time you just abandoned those tokens and moved on it something else. Even if you were to get a partner, someone is going to lose money with crex24 sooner or later given their reputation.

The reason you have the volume of some of those tokens in crex24 is probably because the have a habit of listing random coins. check out their trust.

JollyGood    2020-05-01    Reference    BEWARE: crex24 is scam exchange that needs to be shut down to protect gullible and newbie investors from getting "selective scammed" or "out-and-out scammed"

I have added this user to my IGNORE list and recommend you do the same
JeromeTash    2020-04-27    Reference    Beware of this Exchange. There is no known information about who runs them or their Company address, and yet they hide behind Shady KYC procedures to defraud their customers.
bitbollo    2019-05-16    Reference    They list shit/scam coins.
ICOEthics    2019-05-16    Reference    Doesnt do due diligence when listing cryptocurrency on their platform - see reference:
COOLCRYPTOVATOR    2019-04-04    Reference    Crex24 listing scam token without investigation. Even they are not enough responsive about questions raised by forum users. Better to stay away from this exchange.
3153  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] hotspotsminers.com is a Scam site. The real site is bobcatminer.com on: August 10, 2021, 11:56:15 PM
They're a decent scammer to be honest, they didn't stick to becoming a look alike of the site that they are copying so as to make it look like they're a different website and at the same time make them legitimately looking. Good job catching these really early OP hopefully no one has fallen for this website.
They are not decent at all. If you look closely the site is actually an exact copy of the original site, the only small difference is that;
1. Some white parts of the webpage have been changes to gray
2. Original sales email has been changed to the scammer's
3. Link to the official store has been changes to the scammer's
4. Bobcatminer.com has been replaced with hotspotminers in terms and conditions and FAQs
3154  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] heliuminers.com is a Scam site. The real site is helium.com on: August 10, 2021, 11:44:06 PM
How stupid and ignorant can you really be? You and a few other mutant retards are the only people on this forum, or in the world as a matter of fact, that are blatantly lying and slandering me, accusing me of being a scammer
The only person stupid here is you. You have been outsmarted. Just give up already  Grin

Well, I guess business is going well on your side, isn't it?

I have already interacted with many on this forum and provided information towards any potential dealings,
You mean like this attempted Paypal scam or the BTC for ETH, XMR exchange Scam in Telegram with a 10% "profit"?

Using a photo and data of the SAME item does not prove intention to scam anyone, these units are pre-ordered units, so its not as if the site owner has them in his possession and he has been transparent in giving the manufacturing company's info
It's not just a photo or data. It's everything except your shitty email address. You are pretending to be some other legitimate business you are not.

Anyway, word I am hearing from the website owner is that you slanderers better lawyer-up, because you may have a court case on your hands, and if you cannot prove that anyone has been scammed, you better sell your possessions, if you have any, because it won't be a cheap ordeal. I would recommend you just chill-out before its too late.
Bring it on you twerp.
3155  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I have Paypal to trade for Bitcoin on: August 10, 2021, 11:09:22 PM
I see many people here have BTC and want Paypal, I have Paypal funds and need BTC, lets trade.

Nope, you don't. You are too broke and desperate to own any funds. Get a job.

Regardless to how my profile here may appear, I am not a ripper,

Yes you are. A very desperate one who will look for all avenues to try and scam the hell out of anyone on the internet.

I even tried Paxful and I will not return there, there are just a bunch of african scammers there and I lost alot of my funds thru scams there, Anyway, lets deal, cheers.
You must have gotten some things mixed up in your mind, I think you are talking about your self here, pal.
3156  Economy / Services / Re: Real (Non-VOIP) USA Numbers for SMS Verification on: August 10, 2021, 10:57:05 PM
I was trying to check out your site to see the list of verification websites or services you support, but I must first sign up, which I think is not a good move. Signing Up should be an option once someone already knows if the type of verification they want is available on the site or not.

Maybe you could list the sites you support here for verification, if you don't mind.
3157  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 🌍 Biexbi Exchange 🌍 on: August 10, 2021, 10:19:34 PM
If they have the nerve to just plagiarize content from different exchanges into their exchange, then I wonder how secure the platform is. Half-baked I guess. Nobody should trust them with their money.

Guess what;

Crowdsale Will Open 25 Aug But!!

1. 3,271.62 ETH RECEIVED
2. 335.73 BTC RECEIVED
3. 3471 BACKERS
4. 3471 DAYS LEFT

3471 must be a magic number. 3471 days is 9.5 years, The crowdsale is going to take place for 9.5 Years  Grin

3158  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex exchange charged by SEC on: August 10, 2021, 09:11:36 PM
He is not so smart, and being rich or having lot of Bitcoins doesn't mean he is smart by definition.
I didn't say he was smart; I said I didn't think he was a fool, and by that I meant he generally knows what he's doing in the world of crypto--and I don't think the guy is an idiot or even dumb for that matter.  I certainly didn't think he would have been foolish enough to try to operate Poloniex in the US without complying with the regulators, but apparently he was (so maybe I'm wrong about him).
He's just one of those lucky shills who succeeded into selling his shitcoin to clueless newbies and investors during the ICO boom and after raising millions, he felt he could buy anything he wanted. I guess Karma is catching up with him.

Justin Sun is a marketer, nothing more. Tron is complete trash, with large parts of the code plagiarized from other projects and poorly mashed together,
Spot On, I have never seen a completely plagiarized project get shoved down newbies' throats like Tronix
3159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Free helium miner for your home on: August 10, 2021, 08:41:14 PM
There have been so many scam sites claiming to sell helium miners of late. I would be careful with this one too, though it looks like someone is trying to earn through affiliate links.

ihub.global as a third party vendor or manufacturer is also yet to be approved by Helium community

Here is a list of third parties that have been approved so far.

But even then, there is a warning

Quote
Below are the Hotspot models that have so far been approved by the community and the Manufacturing Oversight Committee, which governs vendor onboarding. Please do your own research as a vendor listing does not equal endorsement or recommendation.

3160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any Legitimate Vendors to Buy Asic Miners from?? asicminermarket.com?? on: August 10, 2021, 07:44:55 PM
I tell you responsibly. asicminermarket.com is a true and reliable product provider.
Are you one of the representatives of the said service?

Why have you come so late to respond to replies if you cared?

If anyone has been deceived, you can come and talk.
Don't you have eyes? How about you start by giving quick responses to scam accusations. If you were really legitimate, that wouldn't be hard given that you have been in the forum for almost 5 years

like this case

How i was SCAMMED by the AsicMinermarket.com

I placed an order on that site Order #5672 and after making the payment using bitcoin 0.12316524 btc (1000 usd) Txid: c3a9008905e78cb480a648f22c8ba2950c62c2187ad6065d1b77710be535e876 my order show up as Canceled.I wrote to the support but i havent received any response.
How that happened? Simplly when you make a bitcoin payment the amount of that order changes after you made the pay and say that never received initially payment and cancel the order as unpaied but the blockchain cannot be lied there appears all the money received and send.
For me that site is a SCAM have taken my money and never responded after and also no send it the miner that i ordered as a test purchased.

Or maybe we should leave you some negative feedback for scamming people?
