2221  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase is absolute shit. on: June 19, 2022, 11:45:18 PM
I was using Bittrex and decided to jump over to Coinbase to give it a try.

What a mistake. Coinbase is so shitty and generic compared to Bittrex. Coinbase you have ZERO options in regard to buying at a set price or putting in your sell price at higher than the current price.

Bittrex for Example i can put in a BUY order for BTC when it hits $15K and just go about my business and once bought i can put that SELL order in for whatever price i want and walk away.

Coinbase you have 2 shitty options buy or sell right now at the price right now.

Why would anyone use this shitty generic welfare exchange? How is it still in business?
Here comes another ignorant trader

I also have the same problem.
and even to change the cell phone number then we have to kyc first (maybe that's normal). so I now leave coinbase and prefer to trade on other exchanges.
And another one  Grin

You two definitely don't know there is coinbase.com and coinbase pro

About KYC, when you use a centralized exchange that is highly regulated, what else do you expect?

Bittrex is even far worse than coinbase. Ask around people from different countries.
2222  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 24/03/2022 on: June 19, 2022, 11:25:39 PM
Thank you both, I appreciate it.  I try to do my best as a merit source.  It's not a paid position, but I believe in the system as a mechanism to curb shitposting and account farming and I believe it's helped significantly since 2018.  Helping worthy members (like both of you) to rank up is rewarding to me, and the gestures of gratitude are just a bonus.

But yeah, it'll be quite some time before I hit 10,000 merits.  The merit system has been around for over 4 years now if I've got my math right, and I'm just over halfway there.  That's OK, though.  I wouldn't mind if I never received another merit, ever.
I don't know who is the biggest merit source at the moment, but it looks like you had an upgrade from the initial Merit source status you used to be. Suchmoon seems to have toned down a bit from initial status. It will be interesting to see who will hit the 10K mark first after the "mighty bot" LoyceV  Grin
2223  Economy / Reputation / Re: [[ Multi user & Wallet Connected   ]] on: June 18, 2022, 10:27:50 PM
Did you know that having multiple accounts is allowed according to the official forum rules?
18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.

So far, you haven't shown us what rule the accounts broke that makes you think the accounts deserve to be tagged by DT members
2224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin do you "trust" the most? on: June 17, 2022, 11:53:26 PM
Worse frozen because USDT is centralized and this freezing event already happened before.
But even the likes of GUSD, BUSD and USDC can be frozen even in your very own address. I think the only one that is less likely to be frozen at the moment is DAI, but who knows what the developers might think in the future.

2225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chia and decentralized trade on: June 17, 2022, 11:26:07 PM
stablecoins
https://www.stably.io/usds/
Stably USD (USDS)
"The future is here! Introducing Stably USD (symbol: USDS), a one-to-one U.S. Dollar backed, redeemable stablecoin. U.S. Dollar collateral is held in FDIC-insured trust accounts managed by Prime Trust¹ through Stably’s platform. USDS is our inaugural token in a series of stablecoins developed by Stably."

It seems we have another Unstable "stablecoin" here
I would never trust a stablecoin whose chart looks like this;

Does anyone else believe in the success of CHIA? I'm looking at the price, at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/chia-network/, and clearly see a graph like the usual ICO scam of 2017. The price collapsed in 1 year from $1,600 to $70. I remember someone in the Russian local seriously bought for mining this koin. But personally I think, that it was just another hype and nobody needed it, like other coins, that were mined with similar type of algorithm, for example BURST. It, by the way, has a similar trend of losing value.
Now trading at $31, I think It will just continue dying a slow death until people move onto the next hype.
2226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Circle Announces Euro Coin (EUROC) on: June 17, 2022, 11:05:44 PM
Circle has taken on the stablecoin market in earnest, and they're probably on their way to the top. I think that in the near future USDC may lead the leadership in the stablecoin market, given the way the whales are leaving Tether.
True, If you look at their current marketcap, they are just $15M shy of USDT. There has been a mass exodus from USDT as people don't trust, and I am one of those folks. It's just a matter of time before they overtake USDT as the top stablecoin

I have always asked myself why we don't have any popular or well-known "crypto coins" that are pegged to the Euro, Pound, Yen etc
2227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What are non-custodial wallets? on: June 17, 2022, 10:54:46 PM
IT isn’t a term that rolls off the tongue,
however, the meaning is very simple once you understand it.

Non-custodial means that there is no custodian; the user is the only person who has access to the funds.
It's sad that you had to copy this text from somewhere else and didn't even give any credit. Are you aware that plagiarism is against the rules of this forum and can lead to a permanent ban?

2228  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scam on bybit derivatives on: June 17, 2022, 12:59:07 AM
I have posted a full review on Bybit being scam on medium, I checked user experiences on independent review platforms and surprisingly they were mostly negative reviews, even on behalf of their own employees
Not trying to defend Bybit, but the reason you created the medium post was because they blocked you from making a withdrawal. The cause of this was because they detected that you abused their bonus system as per this email response

and yet you claim they blocked your account without explanation

What more explanation do you want apart from the one above?

After that, you started clamoring for random reviews online.

Just show us how you did not violate their bonus promo... simple.

Incidentally, your medium profile wall is full of reviews about Binance exchange  Undecided
2229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge coin in trouble? on: June 16, 2022, 11:58:38 PM
This was expected, some stupid "investors" buying a crypto asset during its all-time high due to FOMO and then when the bear market begins, they cry foul, as though someone forced them to buy the coin or token at gunpoint. I saw these kinds of cases in the last bear market.

It's like rushing to gamble in a casino and then when you make losses, you start suing the casino for being fraudulent.

I think Doge will do fine long term.
2230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stupid or smartness on: June 16, 2022, 11:42:48 PM
things will get unbearable
I like what you did there. We might really be in a teddy bear market, not a grizzly bear market yet.
Such replies are the reason I keep cursing Lord Theymos (yes, am actually cursing the "Lord") for not adding emoji reactions alongside the merit button  Grin

Time will tell if it's a teddy or a grizzly  Cheesy
2231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ☠️ If you own Bitcoin or cryptoshitcoins, use AMD or INTEL then you should read on: June 16, 2022, 11:02:47 PM
Hahaha you really couldn't help it but share BSV reddit link on a Bitcoin discussion forum, could you? To make matters more interesting, another BSV shill replied to bump the thread after you posted, and it got ignored. I know you are alts but let's just say, "BSV fans, very amusing!!!"

Secondly, who in their right mind even uses a regular computer that connects to the internet to store lots of crypto  Roll Eyes
It's fair for small amounts, but not your big stash or long term HODL.
2232  Economy / Speculation / Re: $13,000 is quite possible this week on: June 16, 2022, 10:33:38 PM
In my opinion, $13K is quite possible this week for Bitcoin. But whales are confuse for dumping more because they know Bitcoin has more value and it is undervalue around $13k. So more dumping means draining their bags so quickly. People are really hungry for Bitcoin in new inflationary era.
You really think it's that easy to break through the historical support and resistance levels?

How many weeks did it take to break through the $30K-$28K region?

It's also said that Bitcoin has never broken below an all-time high of the previous cycles. Now, there is always a first time for anything, but don't expect bitcoin to break through the historical level ($20K)on a first attempt. As you can see, right now it's holding.

$13K looks far away right now, but it's not impossible to reach but certainly not this week.
2233  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] WasabiWallet.io Signature Campaign | Up to 0.005 BTC/W on: June 16, 2022, 10:27:00 PM
Guys, what do you think about the new signatures?

Such a kind of minimalism. Cheesy
I love the simplicity  Smiley
2234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is the crash in bitcoin price a threat to forum existence? on: June 15, 2022, 11:02:36 PM
You do realize that this forum contains discussions that are not only about Bitcoin...right?

But that's not the point of my reply, my point is Bitcoin has been announced dead hundreds of times, but it just keeps getting stronger and stronger with time

Here is your place to start from
2235  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT!!! on: June 14, 2022, 11:52:38 PM
Lol, some sort of arbitrage scam

You should have been a little smart to release this. If there is an opportunity to make money, whey does some random stranger tell you to make money out of it, yet they could make it too silently?
It means they are sending you into their scam trap.
2236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stupid or smartness on: June 14, 2022, 11:26:46 PM
Not a bad move to sell some graphics cards in order to diversify, but I think you bought Polkadot and Avalanche too early. This bear market has not seen the worst moments, and I believe there is more to come.

We are not sure if Polkadot and Avalenche will be the next Luna or Solana yet  Grin
I would wait until we are deep into the bear market and see how projects survive through it before thinking of buying the promising coins.
2237  Other / Meta / Re: Bump locked topic, should this be allowed? on: June 14, 2022, 10:46:18 PM
Yeah, it's pretty annoying but with time when people no longer care about the troll, he will just give up once he finally gets to figure out that it's a waste of time.

1. If false allegations are being made against MiLkZ in the locked topics. He can simply open a new unmoderated topic with reference to the locked topic to defend himself

2. Just ignore the jackass

maybe a locked topic to loses bump power and automatically goes to the second or third page, this would eliminate the purpose of this way of emphasizing topics.
Maybe members can have limits to lock or move topics to certain boards, such as reputations not more than Twice.
2238  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitstamp Frozen account on: June 14, 2022, 10:13:22 PM
At the moment (2013) when OP send 7BTC to Bitstamp, 1 Bitcoin was worth under $100. So at the time, the OP owned that Bitcoin, the value was not so big and certainly does not deserve special checks on how he bought them.
I agree It wasn't of much value back then but with time when BTC reached close to $20k in 2017, and it was allover the news. I don't think anyone who had at least 1 BTC stashed up somewhere in an exchange wouldn't think about a much safer way to keeping it.

OP, is there a possibility that you can access the address from which you sent that Bitcoin to Bitstamp? maybe that would help.
The problem with such platforms is that they will keep on being rigid and ask for specifics such as one's employment status, how much they earn and how they got the BTC even if it's from 9 years ago.
2239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: June 14, 2022, 02:04:03 PM
How long do you think the market will take to recover?
It will recover so long after people have given up on the currently meaningless over inflated shitcoins, Defis and NFTs just like it was with the scam ICO's in 2018-2019 crypto winter. After that the cycle will start over again with a new scam type of hype.

If you have bought one of those shitcoins, my advice is buckle up, the bumpy ride is just getting started.
2240  Economy / Reputation / Re: Please rate that person (Kavelj22) on: June 14, 2022, 01:49:23 PM
I don't know Arabic but I google translated the page;

The member badluckalways had tried to insult me in one of his posts and also in a private message after I posted a warning about another member who wanted to request a loan. It turned out to me later that it was his alternate account. In addition, he left me a disparaging review on my trust page. Of course, this is not important because he is not a member of little importance and has no evidence for his allegations, and he left the same evaluation to the supervisor Omega.
Today I found out that two other accounts posted the same rating on my trust page, which confirms that they are all alternative accounts for one person, and one of them is the member bert1587 who has negative ratings after defaulting on a debt in 2021: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2852592 It is the only account that has a negative rating while the other two accounts have unreliable ratings.
The third account: killerbitsler https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3481804

I request other members to leave a rating on his trust page especially members of the DT list and this is not for me but to warn other users from dealing with Any of those accounts in the future. Personally I have left the appropriate evaluation.

I think you deserve the negative feedback, especially after creating sock puppet accounts to spam trust feedback. It looks like you are guilty of being a scammer, and now you are trying to pretend as though you are hurt.

Tell me these are not your sockpuppet accounts
1. Loveinday7
2. medomad5874
3. Lalas6378
4. bert1587
5. happybtp547
6. killerbitsler

Also what's the point of spamming the reputations board with different threads complaining about the same thing and then getting them locked?
