2361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alphr Token - Market Cap 37k dollars on: May 08, 2022, 11:12:05 PM
Can Alphr token be reviewed for an account called AlphrToken   Shocked
Nice catch.

OP created an account to shill his token indirectly

Speaking of the shitcoin. It's going nowhere. It died a long time ago, once you look at the coinmarketcap chart.
The 24 hours volume used to be in millions of dollars, but right now it's just $30K

2362  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Lots of scammers on binance p2p on: May 07, 2022, 11:31:43 PM
It should be a valuable lesson for her to learn.

Even when you click on the confirm payment button, there is another dialogue box that comes up for the seller to confirm if they have actually received the right amount and then 2FA. By the time someone clicks on all those check minus finding out if they really received the funds. Then I consider them quite careless and not paying attention to anything.
2363  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: May 07, 2022, 10:47:23 PM
i have an verified account that i used for years.
bittrex send me lot of mails to write an customer form.
i have ignored this because i think this was scam or spam mails

last month bittrex disabled my account.

i send this customer form to the bittrex-support 2 days ago, but my account is still disabled

i will never use this exchange, go away from bittrex
This is why they always say that one should never use an exchange as a wallet, especially if they are not going to trade for a very long time. I do hope you didn't have any funds left in there because Bittrex and their support are so messed up.

If you don't have any funds there... Just ask them to delete your account.
2364  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam accusation : Gamdom fake/ unlicensed copy of games on: May 07, 2022, 10:35:49 PM
I honestly thought this was scam accusations.
No, this is the right board >>>> Scam Accusations

Quote
Sorry I’ll close thread and re-open with evidence.
You don't need to close this one, just move it to the other board and then edit the OP with the required Scam Report Format (Use it to make scam reports properly)
To move topic, the option is at the bottom left.

Problem with Gamdom live support is it’s from bottom to top, new messages come above. But of course I’m happy to share direct screenshots too.
Just share them how they are with a note stating that one should read from bottom to top
2365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Liquidation Price when shorting on Binance Margin on: May 07, 2022, 12:06:35 AM
If I have $1000 in my Margin account and I put it all in a 10x Isolated short trade for $10000 (meaning I am borrowing $9000), the Liquidation Price is then worked out at the exact point where I have lost the full $1000 from my Margin account and I cannot lose any more than this on this trade? is my understanding correct?
True if it's isolated margin. Even if you had $2,000 in your margin account. You would lose only the $1,000 you used as collateral to borrow the $9,000. It's a different case however for cross-margin. Any other funds left in your margin account could end up getting liquidated or lost if the price moved in the opposite direction of your open position.
2366  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam accusation : Gamdom fake/ unlicensed copy of games on: May 06, 2022, 11:56:29 PM
Of course I have proof;

Everything from screenshots of win, deposits, chat with VIP host, chat with “live support”,

......

Screenshots on CasinoGuru,   Imgur and Instagram from full conversation.

They do not accept fault for any action on their website.  They are crooks.
You should start by making a proper scam accusation. Foremost, this thread should be in scam accusations

Post all the screenshots for chat, not just lines of texts and replies, which anyone can create if you want to be taken seriously.

People don't have time to check out casinoguru or any other website back and forth. Once you decide to create a scam accusation here, then you should also add screenshot images here.
2367  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Standard of a Meritorious post on: May 06, 2022, 11:34:32 PM
It is a problem for the newbies getting merits, the eagerness is endless as they anticipate merit in any content they have put up effort with.
I just checked out your post history, and it seems you are talking out yourself. Out of 10 posts you have made so far, you have started 5 posts, which means your sole focus is on getting merit.

My advice is, don't force things, and you won't be frustrated. Focus on making good content, and especially try helping members via constructive discussion. Merits will come along your way with time
2368  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Forget about exchanger search! Use BestChange! on: May 06, 2022, 08:31:08 PM

Perhaps if they asked one of the admins to restore the account (if they lost access to it) or edit the post, it would be better.

tasted it on tor and it works
No biggie... I am more than certain they have access to the account. It's just not actively engaging in discussion. Last time that account woke up, it was to edit something in the OP, and then it went back to sleep.

I believe they could still do the same.
2369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 19,400 BTC on: May 05, 2022, 11:32:08 PM
during the period from 2012 to 2016 I went through a difficult period in my life and I forgot that I had bought bitcoin it was since the year 2021 that I remembered everything and I do my better to recover my bitcoins

Don't judge a person without knowing their story first.
You went through a difficult period in your life but so some reason forgot that you have over $6M worth inside your laptop,  and just sold it for just maybe around 1,000 dollars to save you out of the bad situation you were in (the motive behind selling a laptop in a flea market is obviously money)... really?

How messed up you must have been?  Shocked
2370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Wallet Recommendation? on: May 03, 2022, 11:56:12 PM
Electrum LTC is open source. Why would you not want to use it?

There are so many other wallets that support Litecoin, but most are multicurrency wallets and are closed source
  • Jaxx liberty
  • Exodus
  • Trustwallet
  • Atomic wallet
  • Coinomi

LTC transaction fee rate is mostly at 1 sat/byte
2371  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: $1.6 billion stolen in cryptocurrency 2022 first quarter 165% higher on: May 03, 2022, 11:42:57 PM
I am not surprised it's happening, especially with the so many half-baked DeFi projects and exchanges that we have. Where there is money, there will always be scammers and hackers.
The problem is crypto is always victimized because.... we most people don't want to see crypto succeed, but I am very sure even other financial agencies have lots of fiat money stolen. However, that doesn't make headlines like any bad news about crypto does.
2372  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sell the private key on: May 03, 2022, 11:16:49 PM
I guess there no experience cryptocurrency enthusiast here that wouldn't know the outcome or your intention,
Except if you at first allow the person get access to the wallet, which I believe you aren't going to do.
Best way or alternative for you is to find a centralized exchange and get registered then sell your crypto on the platform.
He's selling the private key and not crypto and no, there are experience crypto Enthusiasts here who are well aware of the dangers and scam surround buying private keys

He's not selling crypto but rather he want to sell a private key which have a link towards tezos and cosmos. And for sure he think his wallet have a value because his wallet has potential to get airdrops conducted by said chains. But I also guess no one will buy it knowing the risk since even if he sell it he can still access the wallet anytime he want.
Indeed, it's a waste of time and money even if the address has potential future airdrops. There is no guarantee that the person who sold the private key has a bot set up to sweep off any airdropped token that lands into the address is a matter of seconds.
2373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 19,400 BTC on: May 03, 2022, 10:46:04 PM
Someone is trying to lie here  Cheesy

Fortunately for us, every post is archived; This is what you said at first before editing the post

In 2014, Bitcoin's average price was $300-$400, sometime it even reached $700- $800

Let's say we consider the lower price $300, are you trying to say you sold the laptop at a flea market with (19,400 X 300) = $5,820,000 worth of BTC in it?
2374  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Scammer In Forum Who Want to Steal Private Keys From New Users on: May 03, 2022, 10:26:57 PM
Are there risk for opening that link on your pc or phone though due to malware/keylogger?  Always heard people say as long as you don't type your seed phrase in, you are fine.  But wouldn't those links have any malware or anything like that?
It depends on the kind of link you click on. Some links are created by malicious actors, while others are from trusted sites. For example, the link above it just a form for filling up details (jotform.com) which is an alternative to Google forms

Of course, you have to be extra careful before you click on any random link
2375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OracleEasy - crypto signal on: May 03, 2022, 09:41:30 PM
Out of curiosity, I just tried checking out how your bot works and one thing I observed is that the APEUSDT pair entry price wasn't even the correct one stated by the bot. The price of APE was way below the entry position that your bot was suggesting to short

LTC long signal was a complete fail as it dropped instead.

I have never trusted "signals"
2376  Economy / Reputation / Re: Leave of absence on: May 03, 2022, 08:58:14 PM
Welcome back Mate, glad that you are alive and kicking and managed to bravely fight through whatever challenge it was.

Sorry this might be off topic but I have to ask, is this customary for one to create a thread like this when leaving the forum for a period of time to maybe prevent someone accessing the account?
it's not a must, but it's a precautionary measure by some members, especially those who feel like they have built a reputation in the forum and have been carrying out some trades or deals.

You don't want people to start getting suspicious or even start doubting if you are the real owner of the account.

Should the account suddenly come online before the supposed time stipulated, and doesn’t sign a message before posting on multiple threads. Do DT members flag the account? Thanks
Yes, if there is more than enough evidence showing that the account has changed hands. It's mostly noticeable with posting style or behavior around the forum. Of course, before getting tagged or flagged. The person would be asked to prove that he's the owner of the account.
2377  Economy / Reputation / Re: My campaign journey has ended due to this on: May 03, 2022, 08:40:48 PM
I think i have seen JollyGood change feedback before, but you have also done nothing much to show you deserve a second chance except lamenting how you are going to miss future signature camapigns.

At this point, I’m sure if the keywords 1xbit is searched on bitcointalk forum, the company has been mentioned more than a million times good and bad, mostly bad reviews associated with the company and its signature campaign. But talking about it everyday is free advertising imo. They probably have more people clicking their websites through bitcointalk because they are everywhere.
How is it free advertising if the word "1xbit" shows up with the word "scam" in most sentences. By the time someone looks up the site in the forum and even fails to read through what the threads have to say about the scam, and they end up getting scammed, then they are to blame.
2378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Signal to Start Trading and the Signal to Close Trading on: May 03, 2022, 08:23:34 PM
Trading is not so difficult as it was told.
If it wasn't so hard. Don't you think there would be lots of millionaires who have made money through trading as of today?

But the difficult part in trading is when to enter the market and when to Close the market. So when do you think one can buy or sell (enter) the market? Using the candle sticks to predict.
It's the whole backbone of trading. Identify good entry and exit points, and then execute your trades. Candlesticks alone cannot predict the entry and exit positions 100%
Sometimes you have to know that you are going to lose some trades. You should know how to manage risk
2379  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: cleo.finance - An innovative no-code trading platform for crypto traders on: May 02, 2022, 11:57:53 PM
I would really love to check out your platform during the times when I am trading, but there is a small problem. The exchange I usually use for most of my trades is Bybit. Do you have any plans to extend support to Bybit, Bitmex and more of those other popular crypto trading exchanges?

2380  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTC2FIAT.me: a lightweight Bitcoin to Fiat converter on: May 02, 2022, 11:41:51 PM
Seems like a very good calculator for a Bitcoin maximalist  Smiley
Bookmarked.

Before I started using bitcoindata.science, bitsusd.com was my favorite Bitcoin to fiat calculator.

I don't if it's a bad idea, but you could add another option for more top altcoins to USD calculator right below the Bitcoin calculator.

Also, the different units of Bitcoin would be good to add, as already suggested.
