321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia Claim without KYC on: December 12, 2020, 06:30:27 PM
First as a centralized exchange, the team can change the terms and conditions whenever they like all in a bid to convince the users its for their own good, well, there is nothing that can be done about it when such issue arises. Every centralized exchange, can set in terms and conditions or remove terms and conditions whenever they like or if it is required of them by the law enforcement; I think this is the case with Cryptopia exchange.
Secondly, I guess the hack has forced the exchange to take several steps and hence they are trying to put everything in place so as to refund the actual users. Also, I guess they are doing such in order to be line with the regulation set before them, hence I think if you really want your funds back, and if they are worth it, you can go ahead with the requirements, this is just my opinion.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bnb is cheaper faster then eth and btc on: December 12, 2020, 06:21:55 PM
I find it quite hard understanding your post, but I think when you say BNB is cheap, you are referring to the transaction fee; yes the transaction fee is cheap and friendly, and also it is somewhat faster than ETH, but that's it, there is nothing more that can be said about the BNB coin. Also, BNB coin is not low, looking at the price when it was created and the current price, there is every reason to believe that, the team did a tremendous work on that platform.
Nevertheless, Ethereum is slow and is quite understood, but yet people find it more worthy to invest in, because the blockchain is efficient than that of other altcoins, amongst other reasons.

324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many old coins are dead and abandoned by the developer, WHY? on: December 11, 2020, 04:17:43 PM
If a project is dead or abandoned, let it remain that way because it means that the team never had what it takes to build it in the first place. Also, if the team later comes back to revive it, that would be the best time to dump everything if you are holding and move on, because what they couldn't do in the first place, there is every possiblity they won't succeed in the second place. In addition, one of the things that lead to the death of old coins is, lack of ideas from the team; if you look at other old coins, you will realise the team are always looking for ways to keep it growing and valuable unlike others.
Furthermore, the aspect of investing what you can afford has been stated on frequently but most people still chose not to listen. The fact still stands that, not all projects are worth it, hence invest what you can afford to lose just in case it goes against your expectations, and funny enough in most new projects today the team are only here for themselves, just very few are here for development.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: December 11, 2020, 04:04:15 PM
I wonder the basis of your predictions, for it to be top 3 on market cap within a year.
When I read all these, I will just be wondering the fate of those who follows these predictions only to be disappointed at the end. If an upcoming project is good and have the potential to beat whatever existing projects, it is the duty of the team to make it happen through constant Improvements and so on, and these Improvements will be visible to all and sundry. Come to think of it, Ethereum has been there for a very long time, and even till date more projects are still eager to leverage its blockchain not only that, the team are also on top of their game through bringing more upgrades to the blockchain, hence with these and many more, I don't actually think another will beat it.
Lastly, there have been many projects tagged Ethereum killer but instead, they are no where to be found; let the team continue their development so that they can last long term like others but for beating Ethereum, it will be difficult for them.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season probably won't happen like the past? on: December 10, 2020, 03:28:41 PM
Is there a possibility that only bitcoin will remain bullish this year? Can altcoin season be left out? The reason why I'm asking is some are already doubting, what if only very few altcoins grows higher in value and things failed to go the same way as that of 2017? What's your answer?

In my own opinion, I would say you shouldn't expect the anticipated altcoin season to be like that of 2017 with reasons. The first reason is, during that 2017 there were few coins and most project team then were after value and Integrity, hence developing a good number of projects of which a good number of them are still working. Secondly, that was also an era when a good level of attention was channelled to Bitcoin which grew up well and later led to altcoin season.
But nowadays everything is different, first we have a big load of altcoins here and there, wherein most people see some as just pump and dump, where a good number do not have anything to offer just hype the token and it dumps. Also, the DeFi trend currently taught many people a lesson hence with this market growth this past days, a lot of attention where paid on old coins, hence the reason they were the ones enjoying a good pump. Lastly, people having learnt that a good number of coins and tokens have nothing to offer, focused only on coins that are worth it, hence as some are dumping others are growing.
Furthermore, in a bid to answer the question, only Bitcoin will not remain bullish but all top coins.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 19-Year-Old Ukrainian Politician Owns 185,000 Monero (XMR), Bought In 2015 on: December 10, 2020, 03:13:35 PM
He is currently 19, going back 5 years shows that he bought the coin at a very young age and also took a big step in buying such amount, thus I will say he is very brave to make such investment and his parents of course will be very proud of him to having spent his money well at a very young age unlike most teens. Another thing to consider is the fact, he made the investment in a good coin like Monero hence was able to get such profit now, the question is what convinced him to go for Monero, nevertheless he made a good call. But nowadays, can someone make an investment in most upcoming projects today and be relaxed, I guess not because most team are only here to get rich; this is the fact that differentiates a lot of old projects from the new ones, and also the reason a good number of old projects are still standing strong unlike it's counterpart.
I really commend the guy's bravery and smart investment.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is about wake up as sleeping Dragon on: December 10, 2020, 03:02:30 PM
The pump and dump in the market has made many people to overlook most worthy coins, well you can't blame them quick bucks always is attractive, but nevertheless there are still coins that are worthwhile and LTC is one of them. Looking at it, it is clear it is not performing well like an old coin of which some are already performing well like ETH and so on, well we can call it market sentiment but soon the attention will shift once the team makes a big move. However, talking about 2021, it is already close but even at that, making any predictions pertaining to LTC will only be personal because the market always have a mind of its own, hence I will say as you are accumulating LTC also, do it from a wise point of view (investing what you can afford) while knowing anything can happen and it might go sideways.

330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Technology is rendering the fiat money system of the 20th Century obsolete on: December 05, 2020, 09:47:10 AM
It's right time people start understanding that crypto will not make fiat money obsolete rather both will work together and compliment each other, however in my own opinion, crypto will be majorly used for most online transactions since it comes with low transaction fee and fast while that of fiat will be majorly used in most offline businesses, since most people will find it hard to adopt and deal with the volatile nature of crypto. Also, crypto being out of the reach of the government will likely make the government have reserved thoughts on adopting it, but however will most likely support it in such a way it won't affect their control authority on fiat.
Furthermore, it is important to know that, crypto has come to stay and will keep growing, but let's not have the thoughts of thinking fiat will be replaced or made obsolete by crypto.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops or "Scam-drops"? on: December 05, 2020, 09:31:17 AM
Airdrops were so popular among the crypto-community over the years. One of the key features of the airdrops is, it gives every participant a chance to get some free tokens by completing few tasks. Most importantly it is totally free of charge. But nowadays we frequently see a trend where the organizers of some of the airdrops ask to send a small fee prior to sending the tokens. In some cases, they put a condition saying that in order to withdraw tokens or any fund received from the sale of tokens, it is mandatory to take part in their ICOs. I would rather call such events as "Scam-drops" as they not only dilute the meaning of airdrops, but also make people to move away from future events due to lack of trust.

That is the absolute truth, airdrop participants have no business with ICO unless they want to, but putting that as a condition means something is wrong with that platform and hence that platform or project's airdrop should be avoided because the team will not pay but rather are looking for a way to attract more investors and possibly exit scam. Also, another way to point out fake airdrops is, any airdrop asking for transfer fee is probably scam, that is, how can participants pay before you pay them their rewards and most times, airdrops like that, ends up running away with the transfer fees collected.
Nevertheless, out of all these, there are still good airdrops and when one sees them, their condition are clear and not hidden thus possessing all the features of an airdrop, which is, do the given tasks and get paid within a stipulated time; but they are just few.

333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Both centralized exchanges and dex arent perfect on: December 04, 2020, 08:24:26 AM
Centralized exchanges can easily expose users data but they have the best platform for traders, highest volumes etc and on the other hand Decentralized exchanges have nothing to do with users data, pretty more safer than centralized exchanges but lacks good interface and also has high trading fee and of course lacks good volume, is there any where else to run to ?

We humans are not even perfect, therefore I think it is somehow justifiable not to expect a perfect system but however trying as much as we can to manage the situation or imperfect system while maintaining the highest form of security and due diligence we can think of. Also, there is something to know, and that is, although centralized exchanges are not secure they can still be used to achieve our aims, moreover most centralized exchanges are now supporting fiat currencies, which now gives people more opportunity to access cryptocurrencies. In the case of decentralized exchanges, although there is no good volume and so on, but it can also be leveraged on to achieve our trading aims, moreover you do not need to worry a lot about security be it in terms of users data or assets, which is of course the most important.
Therefore, what I can only suggest is, accept the imperfect system, make the best use of it and in each case, maintain the highest form of security because you are the only one responsible for it.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is uniswap a good place for the new tokens? on: December 04, 2020, 08:10:47 AM
Hello
I see in the last few mounths that uniswap became the choice for many new projects and everyone is proud to say (our token is tradable on uniswap)
Its like etherdelta all over again
What is your opinions about that ??

There is no doubt that Uniswap has became the choice place for many new projects, additionally, it is good to know that what actually made Uniswap to be so, is the fact that, Uniswap has good liquidity, and everyone knows how important liquidity is in every crypto exchange. Also, another fact that made Uniswap the choice of many new projects nowadays is that, listing is somewhat easier unlike in most centralized exchanges, furthermore, being a decentralized exchange also added to its good attributes. Nevertheless, it is worthy of note that, irrespective of the fact that Uniswap is becoming a choice exchange for new tokens, it is also becoming the choice exchange for scammers, that is, scammers has gone to the extent of listing a clone token just to scam people. Also, since listing is somewhat easier, scammers are also using that attribute to list their scam tokens; so to be free from this, always get the correct trading link from the project team..

337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i Invest more??? on: November 29, 2020, 02:48:20 PM
You did well, but asking if it is enough depends on you though, if you believe it's enough then it is enough, while if you believe it is not enough, then it is not enough which will then prompt you into investing more. Nevertheless, asking if you should invest more? I believe this is meant to be your personal decision. Secondly, about the coins to invest, if it were left for me, I would suggest you focus on top altcoins now; the reason is, the market is more friendly now and the price increase seen in the market is mostly in top altcoins, meaning that, the bull run or altcoins season will be towards top altcoins or better put, will be seen majorly on top altcoins. Other altcoins will experience the growth though, but I think only few of them.

340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking for knowledge on: November 28, 2020, 07:46:17 AM
It is open source hence the amount of users they have. Trust wallet has built its reputation over the years which of course can be seen in the number of users. Also, one of the things that really matters when checking the wallet to use is if the wallet gives you the opportunity to own your private keys, because by owing your private key, you can be rest assured that the security of your assets is complete. Furthermore, so far I have not come across any issue with trust wallet or complaints from people about it, hence to a great extent I can say the wallet is trustworthy. Although there are still others like Imtoken which has been around for a long time as well, but it looks like Trust wallet offers more advanced and user-friendly features.
Lastly, if you are skeptical about keeping large funds, then try hardware wallets.
