321  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLoto.org - daily crypto lottery on: March 12, 2024, 04:38:07 AM
As I see it you expect to raise $500 if you sell all the tickets and pay out $400 in prizes. If you give away some tickets the profit is reduced. I guess you are just starting out because such a low prize is not likely to attract a lot of customers. People go crazy the bigger the potential prize, even if the probability of winning is much smaller.

What system do you use to make the draw?
322  Other / Meta / Re: Why Do Some Posts Disappear? on: March 12, 2024, 04:29:54 AM
I guess the OP is looking for the posts where he posted them, and that's why he doesn't see them, since they have been moved, as Cyrus has said. But when they are moved there is a link on the boards that takes you to them. The other possibility would be that the boards where they have been moved he has them on ignore, although I don't think so because he is a newbie and I don't think he would have just registered to ignore boards.
323  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] MetaWin.com Signature Campaign | The First WEB3 Casino | Sr Member+ on: March 11, 2024, 04:36:13 AM
i think you should pay more attention to the people you pay to spam the forum with low quality posts

do you really pay for a person to post such a things
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5483159.msg63764712#msg63764712

you are giving a bad image to Metawin

Look, I'm going to explain it to you so that someone who has the intelligence of an orangutan, like you, can understand it.

If you really think that what I write are low quality posts just report them and the moderators will delete them, according to rule 1:

Forum rules

1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads. [1][e]
324  Economy / Reputation / Re: o_e_l_e_o Such a life you will build/Laugh at death You will cry. on: March 11, 2024, 04:29:54 AM
The post I am writing now is very sad. I am writing this post with great pain. I feel so bad, I'm mentally broken.

Are you broken by a member of a forum that has not been active since you registered? It has happened to o_e_l_e_o what is going to happen to all of us, that's life. I agree with the other members who have expressed that you should lock this thread, otherwise you are going to earn dislikes from a few that this thread is nothing more than an attempt at merit fishing.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Try to stick to your instincts as a gambler on: March 11, 2024, 04:21:44 AM
Today i decided to try one of my sweet predictions in the EPL games. So, i predicted in 4 matches and placed my net. However, during this time i watched my games played so well but two games were holding it and i felt i would lose this game. It was already 83 minutes and i needed these games to play at 87 minutes i gave up and decided to cashout the amount i used to stake since it was the amount that was showing there. I thought it was clear and instead of losing i should rather just get my money back. Just in 15 minutes after i checked the live score and found out that the game played. I felt so angry and unhappy because i have not trusted my instincts if not i wouldn't have cashed out at that time.

This is one of the reasons I hate cash out. This is also one of the reasons I do not like to watch any of the matches or their live scores until the matches ended.

You are putting the spotlight where you shouldn't be putting it and in this I agree with Outhue.

The lesson you should tell others shouldn't be about your instinct, because you will not going to be right always, the only thing that I could call a lesson here is to learn how to take small risks in gambling, if all you have as risk management is your instinct you will burn yourself up and you will be full of regrets later on.

Although I would express it differently. Agbamoni and Oshosondy have broken the first rule of the good gambler: gamble with money that you don't need, that you can afford to lose. If the possible outcome of the game is making you nervous to the point of rushing to cash out, it is an amount of money that is important to you, and therefore you are not respecting that rule.
326  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 11, 2024, 04:13:15 AM
Do you think that the majority of the people come to freebitco to claim the hourly faucet  Huh Whos is willing to earn 3 sat per hour and 30 sat in 10 hours ? There are some better skills out there which can make you make good money than to earn money through faucets.

I think freebitco has lot of traffic because it has Multiply btc games, lotteries, Reward Points and all such other stuff like sports betting etc. Not to mention the sections of "Earn BTC" and " Win a Lambo".
These are the reasons why people visit the freebitco and not because it offers an hourly faucet in the form of free Roll. Maybe you do not know but there are people who are earning only through their REFERRAL COMMISSION program.

At least initially it was, the main attraction to the site was the faucet. Today I doubt it because of what you say: freebitco.in already has a name and many people who bring customers to the site through the referral system, besides it has evolved to be a very complete bookmaker. Anyway, they will have the concrete data of what percentage of the people who arrive and start playing only the faucet end up becoming a player of the rest of the games of the site, and based on that they will be able to make decisions.
327  Other / Meta / Re: [REQUEST] the wall observer thread should be pinned. on: March 11, 2024, 04:06:49 AM
I agree with virasog. First, it is always on top, because of the traffic it has and the ChartBuddy updates. And second it is a fun thread and part of the history of the forum but lacks essential information. Tu pin a thread that usually contains jokes, memes, and a lot of off topic replies I don't see it.
328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anxiety in trading (heart disease) on: March 10, 2024, 05:57:03 AM
This is nothing new to me. Stress is a silent killer, and trading, especially intraday trading generates a lot of stress. Particularly in retail investors who start in it incited by all the publicity that is given to it. If you add to the general stress that the vast majority are going to make losses, apart from screwing up their finances they are also screwing up their hearts. Another reason for those who want to start in trading moved by the influencer of the moment to think twice.

329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling : Next Generation Challenges on: March 10, 2024, 05:48:31 AM
Well, those who want to socialize they have the opportunity of the physical casinos where they can go out with friends and and family.

Yes, but physical casinos are not an example of sociability either. No one has ever seen people go alone to the casino, and play slots all the time alone, for example? Or play other games, such as roulette, without crossing words with anyone? As far as I see it, this is part of a battery of measures among which is to give a twist to the Latino market, so that Latinos have a better experience. In the end, this "challenge" and these measures are part of a project they have to earn more money.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: March 10, 2024, 05:39:00 AM
Does this really happen a reality or it is just some sorts of mental reasoning fellas?

Luck's just something we made up to explain the weird stuff that happens sometimes.  If you wanna know the real truth about gambling, here it is: the games are set up to let the casino win over time, no matter how lucky someone feels.

Sure, in blackjack or poker you can use some skill to do better.  but there's always gonna be randomness mixed in there too. and  Even the best players can't escape it.

You have summed it up very well. The fact is that reading threads like this one reaffirms my belief that setting up a casino is a very profitable business unless you do a couple of things right. Just look at this thread as an example, there are a lot of people who do not figure out anything, starting with the OP, even though we are in the internet era, and the information is available to everyone. It also doesn't matter that some people like me have explained how the subject works in this section several times.

That the energy and concentration you put into gambling will make you win, or will bring you "luck" is a load of crap, but it doesn't matter how many times we explain it. People still believe in it. That's why there are so many successful casinos and we see a good part of them in this forum.

331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Create a player list of rights on: March 10, 2024, 05:29:11 AM
First, it is not clear to me that this belongs to Meta. To me it would be better placed in Gambling Discussion because it is about casinos that are external entities to the forum, not something about how the forum works.

Besides, I don't think that something like this would work at all, because if the casinos have so much clientele and make so much money working as they do now, why would they change? In any case I hardly play in crypto casinos. I have done it from time to time to see how they work but I am not the right person to "champion" this.

332  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC created new ATH before Halving: are you surprised? on: March 09, 2024, 03:51:01 AM
Bitcoin again created a new ATH albeit narrowly at $70,083.05. What is happening is to be expected. When the price approaches resistance like this, the moment it reaches the figure it goes back down because many sell orders are triggered. But I am an optimist and I believe that the buying pressure will make the price go up like crazy very soon. Next stop, the $100K (although it is not going to be a straight line from $70K to $100K).
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people still using bitcoin ATMs? on: March 09, 2024, 03:43:27 AM
I occasionally use Bitcoin ATMs without KYC to sell small amounts of Bitcoin. They are easy to use, and fast, and without KYC it is worth paying the fees. Basically every time I use them I think that maybe this will be the last time, as I think it won't be long before they impose KYC 100% and then I will stop using them.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many satoshis are there per person in the world? on: March 09, 2024, 03:38:29 AM
wealth distribution has always been unfair for everyone.

Well, no, it hasn't been. In open societies that allow private initiative to drive the economy, have a strong legal system and low taxes, the distribution of wealth has been mostly a result of the effort, talent and dedication of each human being. Those who speak of an injustice in the distribution of wealth dream of totalitarian regimes like the USSR or China in the 20th century. If we want more recent examples, let us look at the example of Venezuela and we will see how this tale of redistribution of wealth ends.

All this without taking into account that those who talk about this bullshit consider wealth as a pie, as something static, instead of something that is in constant movement, that is created or destroyed, so that global wealth has risen enormously in the last two centuries, just after enlightened people like Marx and Malthus launched their apocalyptic messages, so that everyone is richer than 200 years ago, rich and poor.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A call to self-examining our gambling habit. on: March 09, 2024, 03:31:53 AM
Very early on I kept a closer eye on it and even went so far as to use self-exclusion tools for 12 or 24 hours to make sure I didn't gamble too much and thus also forced myself to check my game during those hours when I couldn't play. But from a few years now it's just routine, it's like a part-time job that gives me a little extra money, and every year that goes by I play a little less. So, no problems in that sense.
336  Other / Meta / Re: Icopress ' Merit Source Application 🚩 on: March 09, 2024, 03:24:48 AM
I will never use icopress as a signature manager because I am consistent about conflict of interest and would consider it a conflict of interest due to me giving him 50 and soon another 50 merits.

Please quote this.

thank you

Lol.

I think you overcomplicate your life in this regard. You don't need to give him 50 merits every time you can, nor prohibit yourself from participating in his campaigns. Although obviously as an autonomous person and merit source you can do whatever you want. But I see all this in a simpler way, and I will not repeat what I have already said about icopress postulation in previous posts in this thread.
337  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reee: Which campaign has the most spammers? on: March 08, 2024, 03:37:02 PM
In the case of the members of the Stake campaign, I would say that they excel in what I call pseudo quality. It is very typical to see in the Gambling Section responses by them on page for example 47 of a thread in which they drop three long paragraphs that have something to do with what they are quoting but in reality are pure verbiage that passes just enough in most cases so that a moderator does not delete their post if it is reported and the manager pays them for the post. There are honorable exceptions within that campaign, but I think it's mostly the payment system they have that incentivizes that.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many satoshis are there per person in the world? on: March 08, 2024, 03:29:33 PM
I see an underlying assumption here that I don't agree with: that tomorrow everyone will be using Bitcoin, so let's see how much it would cost if we split it evenly. I believe that in the future the majority use will continue to be, as it is today, as an investment, as an enhanced digital gold. And, since not everyone has investments and not everyone has gold, I think the same thing will happen with Bitcoin. In addition, as with everything, there will be people who will own and others who will own less, as happens now.
339  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nexlub.com Poker club opening on: March 08, 2024, 03:15:15 PM
We are creating T/C with the details and our KYC will not change over time and no matter how much you win in cash games or tournaments. If we get reports about player(s) for collusion, or multi accounts we will check hands, wallets and emails to keep it a fair play.

Well, first welcome to the forum and congratulations because this seems to me a decent poker project, compared to others I've seen in the past on the forum, and also the policy you are defending seems to me laudable.

The problem I see is that no KYC can lead to collusion, which is the main danger that online poker has for individuals. Even in rooms with KYC people try to make collusions and the big ones have a whole department dedicated to investigate it. Added to that nowadays is the use of AI bots, which are not as bad as the bots of years ago, which were very predictable.

So I wish you luck and if I see that the room lasts some time maybe I'll play some bucks to see how it goes, but in general I only play in fiat sites.

340  Other / Meta / Re: Icopress ' Merit Source Application 🚩 on: March 08, 2024, 03:05:49 PM
Listen I have mentioned I like icopress and I gave him 50 merits which he can give out as he pleases. once a month is passed I WILL GIVE HIM 50 More merits, but the fact remains no signature person should be a merit source....

I will give icopress 50 merits once I can.

You don't see anything unusual here? Because I do. To establish as a general category without exceptions that no campaign manager should be merit source and then give icopress 50 merits as often as you can I see it contradictory and even a bad use of the merit system.

What is the reason why you are giving 50 merits every time you can? Because it should be for his quality posts.

I could also read here that you are using your merit source status to not close the doors to icopress hiring you in the future because of the position you express here.

Not only campaign managers can have a potential conflict of interest if they are appointed merit sources. Campaign participants, like you, do too.
