321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 14 hours still no confirmations on: February 25, 2016, 01:39:42 PM
From what I saw last ,the transaction has 31 conformations now.You have got the amount. However I feel the delay might be due to the transaction fees that you have paid is quite low as compared to the transactions amount.Casinos would not care about it anyway.

Might be the fee on a previous unconfirmed transaction input too.
@OP, you should always check where your funds are coming from. If a transaction uses unconfirmed funds, it can take a long time before your specific transaction confirms.

That is true, a lot of inputs make the transaction size bigger, hence a bigger fee is required to carry it to the other side promptly and unconfirmed funds in previous transaction adds more delay.

I would imagine that Bitcoin casinos get a receive a lot of small deposits from the guys using faucets. Your large transaction size could be as a result of spending those, rather than a deliberate attempt to annoy you.

Could have been a little deliberate Cheesy but hey! its confirmed, OP you got the money, everybody is happy (except for the casino maybe) but all's well that ends well. Congrats to you, now spend it wisely.
322  Economy / Services / Re: Testers Wanted! ★ on: February 25, 2016, 03:34:32 AM
I received the 0.01 as well and here are the things I noticed while testing:

1. The letter of Guarantee says "We hereby confirm that WWW.BITMIXER.IM has generated the address" when infact it should say "[banned mixer] " but the address shown on the FAQ Page "For your peace of mind we always provide this and sign it from our main bitcoin account 1CrypMixXWtTjYGCM5ZJmyQYP1Y39P7aLM You may verify our digital sign using your Bitcoin wallet. " is the one it was signed from (verified the signature in Electrum), so I went ahead with the mixing.

2. Another thing I noticed in Letter of Guarantee is, it says "100% to -- after 30 minutes." But on FAQ it says "Your bitcoin mixing will be done instantly as soon as we have received your coins.", So one of those needs to be edited. Apart from that, this also needs correction: "with minimum amount of  BTC per single transaction and maximum amount of 2001.02 BTC total", it should say "minimum amount of  BTC per single transaction 0.01".

3. The QR code and the address shown to send the coins to, mismatch, which could cause problems, although sender should only send to the address listed in the Letter of Guarantee.

4. After sending the coins to the site, the page still shows "Waiting for Payment", when right below that it says "Received 0.01 BTC", it should change to "Waiting for confirmation(s)", OR maybe since the address is valid for 24 hours, it can say that since I can use the same address to mix more coins, so not a big problem.

5. Received the coins seconds after it was confirmed on blockchain, which is good and it did showed a confirmation on the webpage that the mixed coins were sent. The calculator works right, the coins I received were exactly as it showed.

6. Ran Taint  Analysis and coins don't show any signs of the original address, which is again good and it passes the mixing test.

The site so far works like it should but requires little tweaks here and there and some correction in QR Code generator and text in Letter of Guarantee. Apart from the things mentioned above, didn't had any other problems.

Thanks for letting me test and please let me know should you need more testing done.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Strip Club Visitors Told to Pay Bitcoin Ransom or Risk Character Assassination on: February 24, 2016, 07:25:41 PM
Yesterday, Fritz Mueller, the Strip Club director told media, that somewhere around 50 and 60 benefactors of the Globe near the Swiss city of Zurich, in Schwerzenbach, were being threatened by a group of “moral” hackers. It seems that the hackers somehow got hold of the clients’ personal information and are now threatening to send their pictures to their family and companions.

The nightclub manager Fritz Mueller said the sender may have gotten the personal information of the Club clients through their car license plates since it is perfectly possible for someone to request the names of Swiss vehicles owners.

The hackers were also able to get pictures of the people attending the club, but Mueller said that the photographs might only be from outside the club because the strict rules of the club don’t allow customers to use cameras and mobile phones within the building.

Source: http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/02/24/hackers-demand-swiss-strip-club-clients-a-2000-bitcoin-ransom/

This I think is worse than the Ransomware, hacking systems is much difficult than just taking photos of people going into strip clubs and more copy cats will soon follow this trend, is my concern.  Angry
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Uncovered - I've just reg'd the name. on: February 24, 2016, 06:47:50 PM
Bitcoin Uncovered is a good name and imho should be used for more greater use then just a site explaining about bitcoin to newbies, there are already a lot of that and newbies don't even bother to read those.

Since Uncovered means to discover something secret or hidden, maybe it should be about things about bitcoins which aren't too basic or maybe just explaining things which are too complicated in a simple manner.
325  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★BetBTC - Bitcoin Sports Betting | More Sports | Instant Payments | Like Betfair on: February 24, 2016, 06:32:39 PM
There are 2 different things that shouldn't be confused:

  • Fee / Commission on BetBTC Market Gross Winnings (not only to affiliates but every bettors) - 4%
  • Affiliate commission - 30%

Example: If your referral wins 1 Bitcoin on a market (Match Odds - Real Madrid vs Barcelona) you will win:
BTC1 X 4% (deducted to betbtc) X 30% (betbtc will share with you) = BTC0.012

This amount is 100% guaranteed, there's no possible way that any posterior referral activity can nullify this previously earned profit.
If you have the structure to bring some active users like other affiliates are already doing, I tell you that you can win a guaranteed constant monthly income.

Hope this clarified

I was already clear about this but your explanation made it even more clear. Its basically, the 30% of the profit site makes (which is 4% from the winning side) from your referral, simple as that.
326  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of users scamming WITH escrow! on: February 24, 2016, 06:24:13 PM
This forum's escrow services are really that much better than not using an escrow at all. First master-p and now this. The forum is seriously going down fast.

Case of master-p was different but how is this escrow's fault?

Anyone can PRETEND to be anyone, the simple solution to this is, talk to the person directly and ask for signed PGP + BTC address message and verify those before conducting any business. Infact this rule applies to anyone you're dealing with because this is clearly an attempt to scam and/or harm other person's reputation.
327  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Auction on: February 24, 2016, 06:06:11 PM
I found interesting website where easy to win bitcoins any amount
https://www.weigrate.com/auctions/search/bitcoin

By found you mean its your site and you don't want to take any responsibility for it and are therefore just advertising it as a third person?

It looks like the penny auctions scam to me.

328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, why do we need to use Bitcoin? on: February 24, 2016, 05:27:25 PM
Everyone can have different reasons for using Bitcoin but most people use it because of convenience and control it provides.

So instead of asking others, ask this to yourself, which actually you should have done prior to joining this forum.
329  Economy / Services / Re: Testers Wanted! ★ Try new service and get some free BTC! ★ on: February 24, 2016, 12:23:22 PM
Sent you a PM with my BTC address.
330  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: I'll buy you lunch! $20 max :) (Ends in one hour) on: February 24, 2016, 12:08:54 PM
Just find a charity and send it their if you're feeling really generous, that might buy food to more than one person who are in need.
331  Economy / Gambling / Re: First post in awhile, sorry for wrong spot, bitcoin poker sites review on: February 23, 2016, 03:59:51 PM
Absolutely anything bitcoin and gambling I'd like to review especially poker. Not going to post any affiliate stuff, so you guys know it's a legit review. I really want to promote btc and love poker, any other rooms plz post and let me do a review. If I am out of the rules at all plz let me know so I can mod post.

Feel free to suggest a new rating system this is a rough draft here. Also feel free to make suggestions. As long as it's in the rules please post some btc casino's and poker rooms for me to review, preferably poker TYVM.

You're not breaking any rules per se but I am just wondering why should your reviews matter? Are you like BTC gaming and software expert of some sorts?  And you seem to be giving trust ratings, how did you arrive at those?

slots.lv

I have been promising to write a review of this casino, when I still wasn't sure if I'd get paid.

Are you getting paid to write reviews?
332  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: I would like pay for task on: February 23, 2016, 03:12:45 PM
Why not just post it here, make a post in service section, letting people know exactly the steps they need to perform and the pay for when they complete the task.

Better yet, have an escrow hold the funds.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 22, 2016, 03:34:13 PM
I am waiting for World cup 20-20 to start. I think that the best team who stand a chance to win is India and other than them, I think England have the potential to win, but not sure of the spin tacking ability.

After seeing SA's performance yesterday and their successful tour in India last time, I think they have a fair chance too.
334  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Commonwealth Pushes Member Countries to Declare Bitcoin Legal on: February 22, 2016, 03:16:55 PM
http://thecommonwealth.org/sites/default/files/press-release/documents/P14195_ROL_Virtual_Currencies_D_Tait_V5_LoRes.pdf

Read the full report (its big!), it has some great points as to why these countries should legalize and aware people of their nation about digital currencies. If they do legalize it they can somewhat control the bad aspects of it and it makes sense.

This is the best news I have heard this year!! Let's hope that these countries take a positive step forward.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 22, 2016, 01:48:59 PM
Right now, all my coins are on Electrum, they aren't that many that I need to put them on cold storage but when I do, I plan to buy a hardware wallet this time, just checked out coolwallet and it does looks cool, though a little costly, as them all.

Well i store my bitcoin in exchange , When the price go up i go to site and immediately exchange and keep it there in my own currency if bitcoins price goes down i sell that's how i store and make profit also i save some in wallet to top-ups etc.

Bad idea. Just pray that the exchange doesn't decides to get hacked all of sudden.
336  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: February 22, 2016, 01:46:20 PM
I don't have big and long term plans, I just do my daily job and get some bitcoin as profit and also working on my blogging. I got a resolution of not spending any bitcoins. This may be considered as my plan of becoming rich with bitcoins.

you should have a plan to get rich. because the plan is a dream. and those dreams will make you motivated to always strive and work hard to become rich Smiley

I don't have a plan either but I am looking for projects and if I find something which is legit, I'll put all my effort and money into it to make it work but sadly I can't find anything that interests me.
337  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Lost Seed for electrum wallet on: February 22, 2016, 01:09:12 PM
Sorry to say but without the Seed and/or Wallet/Private-Keys back up there is no way to get hold of your Bitcoins. Seed is presented when you first make the wallet and it is used to generate keys in your wallet.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 21, 2016, 02:02:34 PM
English team going towards big total and all batsmen trying to move the score board, i think if it succeed to get good partnership than total score will cross 150 easily.
Really hoping England to win this match .I have my bets on England when the odds were @2.08 and now if you see the odds, they're other way around.Lets hope for the best.

From 12th over to the 17th they were great but they choked in the end, if they had not lost wickets the score could have been mammoth but this looks like within the reach of S.Africans.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: February 21, 2016, 01:52:53 PM
I spend whenever/wherever I can, though its hard to trust new services but you can't tell people to do what they should/shouldn't with their money, everyone is free to make their own decisions.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TENNIS Match Predictions Thread.....!!!! on: February 21, 2016, 01:31:54 PM
Now a days most of the games are fixed and it is very difficult to predict which match is fixed and which one is not. So it you really want to bet on these games than just bet small amounts to avoid big loses. Because of these match fixing now in sports also we need a luck to win our bets. Wink

Haven't heard of fixing in tennis matches, atleast not with the reputed players, the low seed players? .. maybe! but no body bets on them anyway.
