321  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to calculate how much the price of BTC? on: October 15, 2022, 08:34:42 AM

BTC's circulating supply is now 19 billion out of the 21 billion caps.

Is it possible to calculate how much the price of BTC will go up until it hits the 21 billion cap?

I know there is some complicated math you can do about circulating supply, market cap, price etc, it's all connected,

How can I calculate the price potential of BTC within the next 1-10 years?
You can speculate the price of Bitcoin 10 years from now but no way you can calculate it. There is no such mathematical calculation that will send you exactly 10 years from now, not like we solve common mathematics problems. It is better for you to speculate then rather than bother your mind thinking about what will happen a few years from now because you will just fail. You can't project where it stops and how far it reached, even Satoshi can't make it.

322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It An Easy Transition From Gamer To Gambler In Casino. on: October 14, 2022, 10:10:59 PM
I always consider gaming as gambling I have seen many gamblers spend a lot of money for their character and to level up their account for future profit, like selling their stuff and their character.

If you're a gamer or someone is a gamer and would like to try to gamble in online casinos will it become an easy transition as all the elements of gambling are present when you're a gamer, or does a gamer have to start all over again, and have a different motivation and mindset?
Might the transition is not fast but I know that was not hard for them. In fact, some online games had turned to gamble, there is money involved already. But I see there is a different approach when regards to gambling in casinos, it was more intense than you are just having fun playing games like a usual thing we do when there is money on the table.

324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: October 01, 2022, 08:56:58 AM
This question is has already answered itself. We live in an age and time where the only the only restriction which the government of a country can put in place is the ban on vehicular and personnel movement. Aside this, as long as whatever you need to do is on the internet the government can do nothing. We already know that there are sophisticated software that can bypass whatever online restriction is in place. In the case of gambling, if ever there is a restriction, gamblers will always find a way.
Not is uncontrollable now, the government will just get tired of regulating casinos or even banning them because of new technologies that can use to bypass connections unnoticed.  Now, it was an individual consideration if they will fall and get addicted to gambling or not, it was not the government who will be blamed for whatever happened to these gamblers. As we are old already in this particular, I think we don't need help from the government but it was us to help ourselves back and think about what is better.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woman Abandons 4-year-old Child In Gambling Shop As Collateral After Huge Losses on: September 30, 2022, 10:30:57 PM
That was a crazy addiction. I condemned such action and unconditional behavior for this is no good anymore. I think the said casino will also help gamblers to set their limitations and discourage debts, not just for their personal benefits. We have the same scenario as well in our country but the baby has been saved because of some concern citizens help it.

And for you also who take a baby as collateral, I don't know what is in your mind.

Just to update you all, UniJoin sent me the funds for the other day so we're all good there. They have however told me that for the time being we are ending this campaign and perhaps we'll relaunch it in one form or another in the future.

Thank you all for these past weeks, it's been a pleasure!
Good thing that they are paying you, boss  Grin... they truly deserve the trust, unlike the others.

Well, anyways, thank you so much also, and for the UniJoin for the 13 weeks being a part of this campaign. I hope we contributed something to the company and looking forward to seeing this campaign running again in the future.

328  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Manipulation looks like on: September 23, 2022, 01:09:00 PM
Such market manipulation is a common practice by many whales. They even use bots to do it. In I also found several bots that actively buy and sell simultaneously. But if the manipulation is done by the whales of course they will do the game by pumping it first, then if everyone gathers and starts buying it and the volume goes up they will dump and take some profit. It looks very easy to get a lot of profit, but they also use a lot of capital. quite comparable but the casualties that will be caused are also many. So you need to be vigilant and don't be tempted to join FOMO.
Whales have found out that this crypto market is easy to manipulate and now, it become a common practice that always appears on our minds when there is a pump in prices. I'm not going to wonder why this gonna happen in the market but to think is that this is also the way these whales make a profit from moving it up and down, and taking advantage of those who are new and emotional investors. I'm not going to say it was threat to us but honestly, on the other hand this manipulation makes some people to earn more profit.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 23, 2022, 11:49:12 AM

My principle is not like that, but gambling games are fun if there is a balance then it must be spent, but if we win it must be withdrawn and I don't need to keep it in the casino if I want it to be safer in my personal wallet which in my opinion is better than the casino, but whatever from the many explanations of course they have their own different reasons.
Perhaps, it was unusual to hear someone, a gambler will leave his/her money in the casino. Just like you, it was not my practice as well to do what OP had and even though that casino is reputable, still I have no feeling about leaving it because I was not sure also if I can play tomorrow or the next day for I was not everyday in gambling, it was only when I have ample of time to focus on.
Maybe it was the fees that gives some concern, well, but it was not big enough and a thing to consider.
Well, anyways, it was also our choice.
330  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Awareness of scam on social media will help reduce scam on: September 22, 2022, 11:19:15 PM
Scammers are very smart on how to get peoples attentions and they are also smart in inventing new strategies that can be so real to easily convince people . My worries is about beginners who are coming up, and if you make research most beginners in crytocurrency and on social media were once a victim to scammers and till date some beginners still fall for scammers.

To me,  the social media would have been the easiest way to fight against scam, to make beginners get aware "the strangers  you meet is at own risk ". This can always be in the mind when one encounter a stranger who want to offer free money or do business, one will have to think how real can it be.

Beginners don't get awareness of scam on social media,  some mostly get aware of scam with personal experience.

You're very right. Some bunch of Scammers always come after newbies trying to scam them off the little they have. On one or two occasions, I've encountered them especially on Telegram. Once you ask a question as a newbie, you will see a lot of them flooding your DM and claiming to have good intentions meanwhile, they are there to scam. Very pathetic.
Yes, scammers are not restricted and that is because no one well taught it was a scam in the first place. They are actually smart that can hide their true colors and intention until someone becomes a victim. I'd never know what are the precautions that these social media are doing to combat these things but for sure this can never be stopped and the only we do as in individuals is to be more responsible for our doings and never trust those huge offerings in social media as this is a very known scam trick.
331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Microstrategy purchased again 301BTC. Is this a sign? on: September 22, 2022, 10:45:41 PM
MicroStrategy buys 301 BTC at an average price of $19,851.00 or worth 6M$.

Everyone knows this is the ultimate bearish indicator. The price is now bearish due to the upcoming Feds meeting regarding interest rate too. Are you shorting the news? What price do you think is the bottom considering the interest rate that Feds released is too high to what economist expecting?

Is this a sign? Yes, a sign that we need to accumulate also just like what these bug companies are doing now. We have to know that the situation can't change it true magic that we think it will pump instantly after such a huge buy, not the way it works.
If we hear Microstrategy are buying it means that they are preparing for the future and taking this opportunity while there is still time to buy at $19,851 for you can expect it will happen again. This is how investors understand the market and they are still in the "buy low and sell high" strategy.
332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A newbie with 100$ on: September 21, 2022, 10:54:03 PM
If you're wondering whether this investment will make you obscenely wealthy and set you up for life, the answer is probably not. That shouldn't deter you from investing in bitcoin and switching to altcoins, as that's a common error made by beginners who believe it's too late to make millions with a few hundreds or thousands of dollars' value of bitcoin and start losing all of it on some shitcoin.
We can't really think about earning millions if we can't afford to loss a small amount. Just like any for of investment, putting a huge amount will also gives you back more. But what we can do for $100? Make use of this to familiarize the market and it serves as trial and error in order to assess if we can really manage the risk and stress in here.

Newbies are too speculative and thinking high, and it was the time to stop thinking easy money here. We actually can make some earnings from $100 but not to the extend of earning thousand dollars.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: September 20, 2022, 10:36:46 PM
Have you ever had an experience betting in which you knew that you were going over the limits of you finances and still continued? I have one playing a game, it was absorbing plenty of my time and despite me knowing it, I was kind of hooked on it. It was not a financial problem, but left me wondering how easy is to actually fall into a bad habit and how difficult is to break it.
I'm not and that was because I always put a limit on how much I spent.
But, I see some people just like you ended up overspending, and for some reason;
 - financial capabilities
 - betting addiction
 - no limitation

If you are a rich person or somewhat financially stable, you don't need to worry about exceeding the limits for at least you are having fun and the pleasure of doing it.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to choose an online casino? on: September 15, 2022, 10:41:28 PM
Perhaps, you have a lot of choices OP. You can also check those gambling signatures worn by some of the forum members here as it directs you to their site. It was actually hard to decide which one is better as  I'd never tried them all so I have no reason to compare them to the one I currently use.
Better to choose the one that feels comfortable and friendly user, and of course, it was not restricted in your country to avoid problems.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: September 15, 2022, 10:23:13 AM
Certainly there might be some casinos that are involved in money laundering but not all. Almost all crypto casinos are now strictly adhering to the KYC norms. Such regulations would make it impossible for a money laundering to happen. I still think a lot more needs to be done. The crypto casino industry is still very young when compared to online casinos.
Money launderers will take the best option if they can and the use of casinos has no way to escape even though they will strictly be implemented KYC and everyone can make a denial of where the money comes from and nobody will suspect you if you have a business.
I'd see no chance to eliminate money laundering as these people will find another way. You can just notice that someday casinos are one of the major contributors to this criminal activity.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: MONEY IS THE MOTIVATING FACTOR, what do you think? on: September 09, 2022, 01:43:55 PM
Oh, just to say how important to have money this time in order to survive. Though in myself I'd never think to become rich at least to live in a comfortable life seems an ambition and it motivates me to work harder and show my best. Perhaps, that is actually how it looks like but too much greediness seems to have a bad influence on our minds and even a factor that someone will commit illegal activities just to pursue their dream despite the situation that it was impossible to achieve in doing the right way.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does altcoins actually have the potentials of generating benefits to investors? on: September 09, 2022, 11:32:27 AM
Making a profit from investing in altcoins really matters what coins we have chosen.
It was the fact that more people underestimate the risk and volatility of the market and even think it was too easy to make money from this. That is why it was not new to me hearing people screaming and crying about their huge losses as they fall into the wrong investment and even blame crypto for their fault.
I have no record (or maybe there is someone have) but I think out of 100 investors, more than half of them are invested shitcoins.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan with Bitcoin? on: September 09, 2022, 10:33:06 AM
Hello all,

I said £500-£1m as I was under the impression we would be in that range within 10-15 years and at only 32 I would be happy waiting that long just seeing it as a retirement pot.

Maybe £200k will be more realistic and if I am able to accumulate enough over the next 12-18 months that would still be a good return.
I wish you, Goodluck dude. Having in crypto and in yourself as well make things possible and of course, with the accompany of hard work and positivity.
Honestly, it is all about how we planned our future and what things we did to make it all happen. Some people had made it long-term as long as they still have the capability to perform. But I need you to be more aware of the risk of holding huge money, If I were you, instead of saving money for the future I use it to invest outside crypto.
339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: buying low and selling high on: September 09, 2022, 09:25:20 AM
high or low prices all depend on the planning made. Such principles are widely used for short-term investors. This can be done by taking advantage of market fluctuations. sounds easy but I'm sure it's quite difficult to do for a beginner.
it will be difficult to apply in daily trading, because in daily trading, sometimes we also have to place buy orders and sell orders at the same time. some traders may use this method.

It's not that hard actually if you have time to focus on trading in this kind of approach every day. However, doing buy low sell high without any knowledge on reading the price chart (technical analysis) could actually backfire in no time. I also happened to do this way back 2017 using ethereum and I could say that it is all about luck when making profits without using any technical analysis at all.

Day trading is the easiest way to trade in spot using your luck by assuming that every time you buy, that's the lowest it can get for that time and it'll pump a given timeframe. Again, technical analysis is a must for a higher chance of making a sure profit.
Buy low and Sell High - that is actually easy to follow but guess what, many people had change their minds when the market suddenly chance after buying. Most of the time they turn negative instead of keeping positive, and a reason why people got to panic and started selling low than their buying price. It is to say that even if it was too easy but we find it difficult because we have been disturbed by FUDs and market stress which sends us to make wrong decisions.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They have the team and good idea but they choose the wrong name on: September 08, 2022, 10:53:15 PM
Doge chain chooses the wrong name

I think they choose the same name to confuse investors into making them think that they have something to do with or are connected to Dogecoin.  The reason for the DogeChain developer approaching dogecoin offering a gift.  The choice of the name is maliciously done by the developer because of a known reason.  They can always rebrand but the impression will always be there.
This is a very common maneuver which is done by some malicious developers to try to create some sort of connection between a project that is popular and their own, and unfortunately this is something that happens to a lot of projects, this happened to bitcoin and I remember there was even a coin which had bitcoin in its name and yet it ran above the ethereum network, so whenever you see that the developers of a project take a decision like that you must stay away from that project.
And in the end, they all just fail. And all projects carrying the name Doge will never win the trust of the investors, they will probably just be ignored. But I'm sure that the developers and the team are already aware of the situation, however, they never take action and still keep that name. Well, maybe they really don't have the intention to make this project succeed but probably to scam us.
Not really a wise choice of the name but unfortunately, they use to have this and that is what they've got - full of criticism.
