1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Why some gambling sites allowed my IP and why some restrict it? on: September 27, 2021, 11:00:29 AM
I'm just curious because AFAIK gambling is not totally illegal in my country, so I have the liberty to gamble on the sites that I like to use.

I just came across a new site https://www.btc365.com/ since I also applied for the signature campaign.

Actually, it's not the first gambling site that blocks my IP address or country, but it does not worry me as most of the reputable gambling sites that I am still using until now are accepting my bets without a problem, mind you, I gamble anonymously.

So I'd like to hear from you guys, please shed some light on my concern as I just like to get an accurate answer about my curiosity.

1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 26, 2021, 08:02:08 AM
The drama made it more appealing to the media, it doesn't even matter whether whose fault that was I just wanna bet. Caleb seems confident but I can't see him winning when Canelo is still a very young man as he is. You can tell how fast the response to hit back after a slap to his face.
Indeed, regardless of the reason of that incident the fact is it gave an extra spice of their upcoming fight. Its not started yet but Canelo seems ahead already to Caleb leaving him with a visible cut. But I think it can be prevented if only there's someone close who can calm their heated argument.

Oh well this is a must watch fight that we cant be missed.
I hope Caleb was not worried about what happened to him as he could get more cuts during the actual fight. There's a reason why he is an underdog because he is not really good in boxing although is undefeated, he is good with trash-talking only.

Disrespect a champion and you will experience revenge from him in the actual fight, he should fear what would happen to him as the last time Canelo fought, his opponent got surgery because it was badly beaten.

Expect that he is worried because he got a cut in that day, and he felt how strong Canelo is that he had a cut even it's not the actual fight yet.

Meanwhile, Callum Smith the fighter that Canelo beat in his past fight just had a big win by brutal KO against Lenin Castillo.

1284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Bitcoin dump, Ethereum pump! on: September 24, 2021, 10:06:43 AM
Big investors are dumping bitcoin futures and pivoting to ethereum as expectations for the world's largest cryptocurrency soften, JPMorgan says

Quote
Big-money investors are shying away from the bitcoin futures trade and pivoting instead to ethereum futures as expectations for the world's largest cryptocurrency soften, JPMorgan analysts wrote in a note on Wednesday.
In September, bitcoin futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange have traded below the price of an actual bitcoin, the analysts noted.
"This is a setback for bitcoin and a reflection of weak demand by institutional investors that tend to use regulated CME futures contracts to gain exposure to bitcoin," the analysts wrote.
Under healthy demand, futures usually trade at a premium to actual bitcoin. This happens because high bitcoin storage costs and the juicy yields available for passive crypto investing push up futures prices, according to previous JPMorgan research.

The question is, do you think in the long run the dominance of bitcoin will significantly drop and Ethereum will try to compete with bitcoin?

It's interesting since it's coming from JP Morgan which IMO is not a big fan of bitcoin.

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon says he’s still a crypto skeptic: ‘I’m not a bitcoin supporter. I have no interest in it’

1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is not Legalized Despite the Many Benefits on: September 24, 2021, 07:42:04 AM
Simply because the government or bank doesn't trust cryptocurrencies. The government or bank has no control of these cryptocurriences because it's decentralized and they can't be the middle man who control/maintain the blockchain. Thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto who invented it.

Even if it has many benefits still other countries doesn't legalize it mainly because they can't oversee it. But this won't be long and there are already other countries that are starting to legalize bitcoins.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic on: September 23, 2021, 02:46:30 PM
Panicking will result in losses even before you realize it, but on the other hand panicking will become your advantage if you think the right way and convert your losses into profits. Even professional traders or gamblers still panic but they don't show it because they know how to handle the situation in the right way to avoid losses along the road.

Instead of selling, you must study and think of buying when the market is at its lowest. In that same manner you will gain when the market recovers again.
1287  Other / Off-topic / GGG will have a fight this year! (BOXING) on: September 23, 2021, 06:27:59 AM
Looks like we can still see Gennadiy Golovkin fighting this year.

This is the article that says he is going to fight this year.

Gennadiy Golovkin and Ryota Murata agree to December 28th unification in Japan
16

Golovkin holds the IBF middleweight title, Murata the WBA

Quote
Gennadiy Golovkin’s long-brewing unification match with Ryota Murata is right at the finish line. Mike Coppinger reports that the pair have agreed to meet on December 28th in Kobe, Japan “and are simply waiting for DAZN to sign off on the bout.”

Per Coppinger, Golovkin’s (41-1-1, 36 KO) long stretch of inactivity came about due to “a battle with the platform connected to its expectation that [Canelo] Alvarez and Golovkin would fight a third time.” “GGG” has fought just twice in the last 24 months, narrowly edging out Sergiy Derevyanchenko for the IBF middleweight title and subsequently defending it with a December 2020 rout of Kamil Szeremeta.

WBA champion Murata (16-2, 13 KO) is coming up on two years out of the ring himself. His 2019 campaign saw him decisively avenge a loss to Rob Brant with a two-round mauling and beat down Canada’s Steven Butler soon after.

GGG fought last year, so in this scheduled fight if it happen, he will be inactive for over a year.
I hope this is not his last fight, as though is not getting any younger, many are still hoping he would fight Canelo Alvarez one more time.
1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good Time to Buy? on: September 22, 2021, 08:44:49 AM
No need to be hasty at all, learning to control when to buy or invest is also a win on your side as well. Before you buy, you need to study it first and make speculations on when is the best time to buy or invest because if your predictions went wrong or you bought it hastily well chances are you'll lose. So be careful and be mindful always.
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How crypto currency change your Life? on: September 22, 2021, 08:38:42 AM
Because of crypto currency, I have my own money now and could invest or buy what I need. But at first, I find it hard to study how this crypto world works but later on I know how it works and got paid about it.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: More women addicting problem in UK on: September 21, 2021, 02:55:51 PM
Personally, I never thought that women are also addicted in gambling via sports or casinos. I only thought that some or most of women are only addicted in shopping or food.

In this modern world, no matter what gender you are in, everyone are also indulged in gambling or have been addicted already. Maybe because of their desire to have that money quickly rather than working on shifts like office or something. Everyone have their own ambitions that's why many people are seeking on fast money.
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impact of underage gambling? on: September 21, 2021, 06:55:19 AM
Gambling of any form or in any platform is still highly addictive especially if your underage. I think the best age is 21yrs old and above, I mean there's no harm if the young ones are curious about crypto or gambling in any form. They just have to be fully informed that gambling isn't something you have to do everday ans it is not something that can be your livelihood. Even adults can't barely manage when it comes to gambling.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for being in crypto. on: September 20, 2021, 10:20:10 AM
My answer is B to make profit and my main reasons for being in the crypto world is to understand how this works and invest in the proper time or make money in plain language and also I'm curious and amazed how this crypto curriences run in the market nowadays. In todays world, technologies are so advanced and so is the crypto world and I would like to be knowledgeable before this thing is publicly used worldwide.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Timing is important on: September 20, 2021, 10:07:22 AM
Timing is indeed important before you invest in the market and it is not something you can do any everyday or anytime you want. You also need to study the market you like to invest and make speculations on when is the best time to invest.
1294  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to choose correct coin for Day Trading on: February 22, 2020, 11:03:39 PM
And for now, I'm focused on the top listed coins in the market. We don't need to be greedy enough having a huge number of coins to trade, having 2-3 coins is quite good enough to start with and could surely we can focus on it.
Some newcomers are attracted to new coins that showing a sudden pumps but we must have to be careful to this cause this only a hypes scheme which many noobs been fooled to this and suffer losses after the hypes are done.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can never be a means of making money. on: December 08, 2019, 04:47:15 AM
Gambling can never be a means of making money. Gambling is just a game for spending time. After all day work is a bit of fun to gamble. I think If you don't gamble to make money, then gambling will be more effective. Because if the purpose of gambling is to make money it will create additional tension on the head. There will be no gaming fun in the meantime. So I think the purpose of gambling is to have one purpose and that's just fun.

Thank you

The only way you can make a stream of money from gambling is if you are the owner of the gambling site, you will only concentrate on promoting your site and not on gambling itself, but if you are a player, your chances are slim, you can enjoy the game but you can't make a stream of money here.
The credits will be into the owners that is why they keep on growing and established their business. But sadly to think that those gamblers can't understand the way they look gambling is all about.
But to believe that some people aren't tired of being hopeful and they keep playing for the chance that luck may give its favor and win the jackpot. This is why they keep their spirit and put some bets.
1296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tools to improve your trading on: November 01, 2019, 01:28:39 AM
These tools have been effective in helping traders make headway in crypto trading and help traders to maximise profit.  But i still think that one of the most important tool a traders need is its instinct and the its ability to stay of greed and resist greed while trading.  Greed is one thing that makes traders loose funds while trading,  if a trader can tame greed then the trader can maximize profit from crypto trading
Greed is already a part of our life, not to mention that person don't have cause he/she have it already but only in the other way.
Being in trading it is important to know our capabilities and to know also where could find a way to help us to be more profitable in this field.  Yes,  it takes time to develop and change our mindset into a positive. We can't just simply put our money at risk without having assurance for returns and using charts and trading signal is a helpful thing to acquired.
1297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin can not become a global currency on: October 24, 2019, 12:07:33 PM
One of the reasons why bitcoin cannot become a global currency because it is not recommended by government officials. Some countries are banning it because they do not have the power to handle it. Thus, if government do not accept it, people cannot use it officially.
That is why they need to pursue the regulations process in order to regulate crypto and from then, they can control the entire crypto market. But they have failed already, crypto holders never think that it will be the solution of scamming and illegalities happen around with crypto.

Bitcoin's development still going on, it may be the adoption aren't enough for the goverment to reconsider and gives support to us. But we can't just be hopeless, the time will come that they'll open up their mind and could appreciate the importance of Bitcoin to us now.
1298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are People Losing Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2019, 11:35:22 AM
yeah, newbie weak hands are leaving bitcoin handing over their small amount of bitcoin to others who understand the true purpose of bitcoin, at a discount just to try and buy it back a couple of months later at a much higher price. Wink

Very true, these are the newbies who have weak faith with bitcoin because they only invest in bitcoin because it can give big profits but with todays price that is sometimes bearish then they will loss faith in bitcoin. The only people whose with bitcoin are those who have been with bitcoin through thick or thin. Bitcoin is very volatile and that investors should know better.
This is capture what would be that bitcoin it is. The volatility of the market keeps going strong and it makes those doubters losses confidence with Bitcoin. Being profitable is the most reason people investing Bitcoin/crypto but it makes them difficult when the market turns like this( dumping). If the market will fall down deeper it absolutely affects the interest of the people and most likely they'll find other stuff to work with but they'll turn back in crypto once the market recovers.
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i trust new IEO on the new exchange? on: October 23, 2019, 01:05:06 PM
I know it was not easy to give trust to IEO and much more if it was listed in new exchanges but somehow, giving time for them to prove something is also reconciliation cause nobody knows that it have potentials. But its something we need to put at high-risk in dealing with new projects today even it was listed in any exchanges. Our assurance for this is quite thin that is why we should be careful and tried to evaluate the project before we've got into it.
1300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Reasons why I am buying Bitcoin!! on: October 23, 2019, 04:58:14 AM
A quick summary of what the five (5) reasons are:

1. I Listed Bitcoin Halving
2. I Mentioned all these Powerful Figures speaking out about Bitcoin (President Trump, Fed Chairman, and Jamie who is the Chairman for JPM and Chase)
3. I mentioned the recent reports on Bitcoin ATMs growth. And Included the chart with the data.
4. I mentioned Facebook Libra coin and some of the big institutions that are onboard.
5. I mentioned the current chart analysis of BTC/USD and how we should buy when everyone is in a panic.

You can read the full article at: https://medium.com/altcoin-magazine/5-reasons-why-i-am-buying-bitcoin-1f1ad0c9dbf

Thank you and please take part in the poll.
The current conditions as you mentioned are all true, but the reason I'm also buying some bitcoin is just halving. In my opinion, figure talks, bitcoin atm growth, and analysis have all been written down from a few years ago. Bitcoin value should continue to rise if according your mention, but the market is not so, up and down market demand continues.
bitcoin halving will be main trigger for bitcoin price next year.based on historical data, after halving bitcoin price rise smoothly and able to create new all time high.moreover bitcoin fundamental supported by other news such as bakkt trading.demand will created when halving, investod without any doubt will start accumulate their stock.
That only be a hopeful thing but its gives no assurance for a bullish market. As it to know that the market is not the same as what it runs before and also there is possibilities that the upcoming halving won't act the same before. For this, I'd better not to think what it should be, but rather to accept any possibilities may happen next year.
