It's been too long, now that Pak is going to tour the Netherlands and other events like the WorldCup are going to take place by the year-end, I think the interest among the fans will automatically shift towards other tournaments.

The reason why many feel that T20 and other shorter formats interesting is that even a mediocre team can give a tough fight against a strong team as the overs are limited. So almost all the matches are more or less interesting when it comes to shorter formats. so yeah the main focus of the Boards will be on shorter formats. But if the same mediocre team goes against a strong team in ODI/Test, it will be one-sided and a bit boring. But if the team are evenly matched in ODIs/Tests, then it will be an absolute delight to watch.

One thing we should learn from the recent incident with the Pakistan cricketers is that even if you take necessary precautions to not get infected, it just needs 1 unknown carrier to spread the virus to others. So just think about the impact on a huge cheering crowd  It is evident that teh Pakistan cricket board whatever it may be did not take the necessary precautions and if they really did those then they would not have suffered like that, Soccer clubs and the UFC showed how to resume the sports by testing each and every person that is participating in the event and then give them a window to isolate themselves before the test results are out and if you are not doing that then it is bound to see disasters like these. As you have mentioned, maybe PCB didn't take any precautions but having full crowds for the games is just a stupid decision. I believe both PL and UFC are resumed without spectators so you just have to properly check your players and supporting staffs and you don't necessarily have to worry about thousands of spectators. |

I don't know how to explain, but that's the fact, I feel panic when I see the Dollar value but not the Bitcoin value. Maybe because of the decimal value. In almost all the sites I use (Primedice, stake, crypto.games, sportsbet etc), if you deposit Bitcoin, the balance will be shown in Bitcoin not in Dollar value. Moreover, we all know that Bitcoin price is highly volatile. Lets assume you deposit 1 BTC today in Roobet you will be credited with something around 9300$, what if the price suddenly shoots to 12000$ in a single day? When you withdraw you'll have ~1 BTC worth 9300$ which means you lose you Bitcoins without even betting. You can argue that you make profit if the price drops below 9300$. But that's not the point here, if the balance value is in Bitcoin you neither lose/gain without gambling because of the price action. |

My opinion is that the ICC should focus on the format which is less time consuming, more revenue generating and something which can attract new fans. And that would be the T20 format.
This has always been something which I thought of ever since the T20 format was introduced years ago which is why I completely agree with you here. The popularity of Cricket would probably soar drastically if ICC stuck to this single format in the future. I would hate it if ICC focuses only on T20 Cricket. It's true that its less time consuming, revenue-generating and a good attraction for new guys but I feel it more like a baseball game. In T20s the batsmen try to go after each and every ball and hit as many boundaries as you can something like an adrenaline rush. IMO, only in test matches, a player's endurance, skill, technique, fitness etc are exposed.
Meanwhile, PCB wants written assurance from BCCI regarding VISA and clearance to play in India  "We are also looking at the fact that the ICC World Cups are to be hosted in India in 2021 and 2023 and we have already asked the ICC to give us written assurances from BCCI that we will not face any problems getting visas and clearance to play in India"

I have been enjoying Roobet for several weeks now but I want Roobet to consider showing Bitcoin and ETH balance as it is and not in Dollar value. The reason is when I see the bet amount in Dollars, I feel a bit panic annd stress while making higher amount bets but this is not the case when I bet in sats in other sites.
Just use convert rate USD-BTC. Then you can determine the amount you want to bet with BTC rate by using USD rate, since they pegged the balance to USD when the cryptocurrency movement going down you can get more balance BTC when you withdrawal the asset. If you want to stick with your bitcoin balance estimation, then suggest you to always withdrawal after playing the game. The fee was pretty low only under 1$, so there is no problem at all when your transaction a lot with DEPOSIT/Withdrawl. It's not like that. Maybe I didn't make myself clear. Let's say I deposit 100$ worth of Bitcoin. When I place a 20$ bet on Roobet, I would feel a bit of panic as I see the Dollar value and I'm placing one-fifth of the total deposit on a single bet. But I wouldn't feel any panic when I place 2mBTC(~20$) or even 5mBTC(~50$) bet in other gambling sites as I see the sats, not the Dollar value. |
