341  Economy / Exchanges / Re: SimpleSwap, instant cryptocurrency exchange with more than 175 coins. on: March 14, 2024, 01:50:34 PM
Is it possible to prove the source of funds without KYC? Meaning to say that they are the profits of a signature campaign or that I withdrew them from Y exchange?
Based in their: 4. Client checks as long as they're low risk which can be categorized that came from a signature campaign is possible that they won't do so. But as usual, they're free to ask for full kyc if it's needed as said on their rules and as per their discretion. If you're going to exchange big amounts that you've accumulated through campaigns, it's best to do it with smaller amounts just to be safe.

4. Client checks
4.1. It is a part of SimpleSwap's commitment to providing efficient and streamlined services without compromising on compliance. Defined as ‘free from sign-up’ or ‘no KYC’ approach is applied exclusively in scenarios identified as low risk. In instances where our monitoring system identifies potential red-flag indicators, we will escalate the checking procedures and conduct a client check.

4.2. SimpleSwap may at its discretion require clients to complete mandatory KYC checks on any transaction. This measure is in response to certain triggers identified during our ongoing risk assessment and monitoring processes. We reserve the right to implement these checks as necessary to uphold the security and integrity of our platform and to comply with regulatory obligations.

4.3. The checks are tiered into two distinct levels: standard and enhanced. Criteria for determining whether a certain transaction or client are subject to a certain type of check are solely at SimpleSwap’s discretion and are subject to our security and compliance protocols and regulatory requirements.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: Early exposure of children to wealth and investments on: March 14, 2024, 11:25:54 AM
Is it right to tell your children all the investment you've made even when they're not yet matured enough?
I think that's fine. It's best to expose our kids at an early stage of their lives about money. Most of the kids that I've seen lately aren't really into these knowledges that are being taught by their parents but instead, they're into nonsense things and just all about enjoying their childhood. I have nothing against about enjoying their childhood but if you teach them early with your investments or even by just simple savings, they've got an upperhand compared to the other kids when they grow older.

If no, At what age should they start knowing about those investment?
As soon as you teach them how to save, I think that's already enough. Start from teaching them to save money to buy their toys or their desired things because it's about the principle of teaching them on how to be responsible with their finances and at the same time, the lessons are already there and eventually they'll learn about what actually investing is.

344  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: March 13, 2024, 11:11:47 PM
I am not a mobile person too but with that award, it seems that I should try it out and see it for myself. Having a responsive feature to the mobile users is one of the features that most casinos should have and with that award, it only means that bc.game has been recognized and shown that sigma africa awards something within them. It's also encouraging us to join them through mobile but we will get there soon.  Tongue
Actually I have never use my PC to access any gambling site, I usually use my phone maybe is because I use my mobile device more often than the pc, to be frank in Nigeria about 90% should be having a smartphone or access to one but that can't be said for a PC, I believe majority of Nigerian use smartphone for accessing any gambling platform including BC.GAME
I have no idea about that metric but if you're familiar with how Nigerians do their thing through their smartphones then that's it. We've got some news last year that they're the fastest growing country in terms of adoption in crypto trades so it's really possible of what you're saying about them.

That's what actually what is mobile for and for sure that they'll maintain it, they do understand that not everyone has their own laptop and desktop and this gives comfort to those that don't have any other way of accessing bc.game but through their smartphones.
Actually BC.Game web sites on mobile works excellently well for me,  it has good user experience and I haven't really experienced any lagging when using it, I guess you will be trying it on mobile while I will be trying it on my pc  soon
Good to hear that, I'd be doing it as well although I am more convenient into desktop/laptop because I am into a bigger and wider screen for things like this. And that's why I also encourage you to visit them through your PC.  Smiley
345  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: March 13, 2024, 09:39:43 PM
Every casino needs to have certain features so they can stand out as the market is so competitive. One of the things that bc.game stands out is the playability of the casino on a mobile phone. Personally I never use my mobile to play on casino but I bet that market is also growing. Congrats bc.game for another award!
Tongue

So when I'm really lazy about opening my laptop or computer, I can gamble with my cellphone by accessing this bc.game. I also hope they continue to maintain their site so that it remains light for cellphone users because not everyone has a personal computer or laptop. and only have a cellphone, but even so, bc.game must continue to compete with other gambling sites in terms of service and also convenience for all users so that they can access their site without obstacles and slowness, at least cellphone browser users must still be prioritized in this case so that bc.game can continue to get lots of new users.
That's what actually what is mobile for and for sure that they'll maintain it, they do understand that not everyone has their own laptop and desktop and this gives comfort to those that don't have any other way of accessing bc.game but through their smartphones.
346  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Passively earning in crypto without trading. on: March 13, 2024, 08:00:16 PM
Or are there other passive ways of earning you will recommend for those that already missed the ongoing pump and are skeptical of price dumping on them?
Holding for me outside exchange is still considered as a passive way of earning, you may not earn through the quantity of your holding unlike staking and interest rates coming from exchanges but you don't hold the private keys there. I'll choose to own and have it and see it grow in paper value than of seeing it have more in small amounts through quantity based on the percentage reward that they're giving to the depositors or holders of their vaults. I just find this as a better way to increase the profit through holding and that's why I consider it as a passive income. Also, you don't get to trade with that as it seems safer than all of those options.

348  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe in savings or investment on: March 13, 2024, 10:53:41 AM
For quite some time now we have been hearing about savings and most people who are working in some oil firm or some civil servants so much believe on saving and their pension. What if those savings are turned into investment what do you think could be their results by now extremely rich or wealth?
While we are investors, there are those people mostly in the past that can't attain to invest and their only last hope during their retirement is their pension. We don't have the same tolerance with risks and that's why there are people for investments, and there those that are just chill and will rely to their life savings and pension when they're at their retirement age.

No wonder teacher or lecturers are not wealthy due to their this mentality of thinking we hardly finds out a very wealth teacher across or locality.
Sad but true. However, they're also the ones that are honing us since we were young so I'd give credit to them for enriching each and everyone of us on top of our experiences. And on this matter, it's why it is a must that wages of educators must be increased. Otherwise, they have taken the career because it is their passion.

For long have been around here seems like people who belongs to this world think much of investment than savings while the real world focuses more on savings but if I could recall correctly, any money in savings doesn't yield and add to the account while investment is what gives us money or profits at every end of the day week or month irrespective of how little it could be it's better to have investment than savings.

What do you think?
I think it's also about what's injected by the wealthy people and the owners of the banking institutions to the public. They all want us to save our money for them to use it for their investments having that guarantee our money is safe with them.
349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pump|before halving on: March 12, 2024, 07:21:41 PM
No one knows until the time comes of halving and whatever is the price by that time. Talking about JP Morgan? Is his opinion really matter to you anymore? He's been telling tha since long time ago and even said about Bitcoin is fraud for so many times. My advise to you is don't take him seriously despite him a known banker and financial guy, his opinion doesn't really matter if you're long term on Bitcoin. But of course some of the news when it's published about his opinion it might make some impact but you don't worry with such.
350  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A mistake you would surely regret on: March 12, 2024, 05:38:59 PM
You can't stop them and they're more aggressive this bull run. I have no idea who has put in the minds of mostly beginners about having x100-x1000 with their investments. They truly are prone to scams with that mindset whilst the ones that are into safe investing by having their money in Bitcoin doesn't have to think about such. A lot sure will get into new projects thinking that they're early on those but, they should be wary about the rug pulls aren't gone and those developers that have been doing that will just repeat the process trying to lure these poor investors that have no idea of what they're up to.
Newbies have seen more believing and relying on crypto influencers for their decision making that’s why its not surprising anymore to see them hyping in the market, trying to turn out impossible things into reality like seeking for 100x-1000x profits in such crypto coins, but still end up losing all their funds because they rush into investing without prior research at first. Although I have no big issues with this type of newbies but if they won’t learn from their mistakes, they’ll possibly end up losing consistently because of greed and wrong information gathered.
Crazy influencers as they seem to be relevant only this season but when the market is in bear, they're gone and no longer relevant and giving tips. When a newbie starts to rely on these hypes and crypto influencers that are telling them they'd make xx money investing on a shilled project, that's already where they're going to see how their money will be gone easily. Some may profit but most of them are just quick money and if they wouldn't man and wise up with how they make from those shilled projects. They'd repeat the process and the second or third time around, they'll be the ones that are going to be eaten by this whole market losing them money and will make them realize that they'd been doing it wrongly.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Marketing Strategies for New Casinos? on: March 12, 2024, 03:41:57 PM
But in saying that, this was years ago. I know the environment has changed and the market is more competitive and saturated than ever because almost daily I seem to come across a new game.

More of a question of curiosity than anything, as I said I’m new to the scene and am really keen to learn more.
You're right that many have changed over time but if signature campaigns aren't effective then there won't be any existing casinos that will choose it as a way of their marketing through the forum as their specific niche and target users that are into crypto and are also gamblers and investors. Aside from that, you can run a review campaign where you'd give some rewards to the reviewers for being honest to what they think about your casino. It's not that easy at all to start out but with these ways that you are already aware, they're one way to increase your exposure to your target market.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is worth more than Silver on: March 12, 2024, 01:09:54 PM
Crazy indeed and this is a slap to those people that still talk shit about bitcoin. They think that it's a scam until now but despite all of their skepticism, Bitcoin is doing records that are proving that this is a very reliable and worthy asset than any of the other. It's still new to be honest and many haven't been get to hold and taste how it looks like by owning it. Soon, it is going to break the other stocks from the FAANG and will be able to make it to the top 5. Who knows if in less than another decade if it's going to reach the top 1, it is going to take time and quite hard I guess but it's possible.
353  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Mexc wont unfreeze my account on: March 12, 2024, 11:12:26 AM
Every time I see stupid comments

Not helping to solve issue fk you and fuk mexc
Honestly, no one can help you out with your concern here but everyone who's looking into your case concerning your situation will just give the idea on how they've gone through with the same situation if ever they've met that before. Sorry about that OP but since you've sent your details to them and you've asked them to block your account due to unforeseen situation of losing your phone. Didn't they give any next procedure on what you should do aside from waiting and verifying everything that it is the actual you have requested to block your account and now trying to unblock it as the situation becomes neutral again. Another thing is you should have your credentials recorded somewhere else so you can basically back it up when the same situation happens since it's just going to require you your login details and if activated, your 2FA.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Day i have lost my 100 bitcoins on: March 12, 2024, 09:46:36 AM
You're just one of the many that have forgotten their private keys and didn't care that much about the Bitcoin that they've held. Just like the guy that had his old harddrive wanting to be dug up on an old sanitary field but that's no luck at all because that has been dumped there for years. Also, another guy that had forgotten his password to his wallet that contains a lot of bitcoins too and IIRC, he's got 2 attempts left or else it will completely gone forever. I think that in the old days, everyone didn't expect that Bitcoin will grow this much so, they didn't protected themselves by having a backup.
355  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beyond crypto, we are being scammed by scammers. on: March 11, 2024, 11:32:12 PM
I am sorry but it was your problem that you have given willingly those details of your OTP. The banks are always giving the reminder that you shouldn't give anyone your OTP even the bank employees but only you. This is the reason why I don't entertain unknown calls telling that I've won money with the lottery or anything that are related to money if they can't verify who they are. Most of these scammers have taken our phone numbers somewhere where we've written it on forms on the malls, banks, or anywhere and the same goes when we register on a website that their database have been leaked. You shouldn't be gullible with such random calls when you don't know what they are saying and no idea how did you won such promos or giveaways that they are saying. Another thing is with these scammers email, you don't click any link from them and I hope that you have learned a valuable lesson here to never entertain random calls.
356  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Telegram channel for cryptocurrency analysis on: March 11, 2024, 06:31:27 PM
I'm looking for a group that only provides analysis, not buy recommendations.
You're unlikely to find them, the genuine ones won't be found nowhere because if they can give good analysis, they'd just keep it to themselves. And many of them are capitalizing these analysis of theirs whether they're good or not and they want people to pay for their premium just for them to get some of those doses of daily analysis. Go into the sections of trading discussion, speculation, altcoins and altcoins (speculations). You'll get to see analysis freely from those that think they'd like to share it. Otherwise, the ranking websites do give their analysis as well but most of them are likely going to shill some new projects.
357  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Potential Scams to Watch Out For in the 2024 Bull Run! on: March 11, 2024, 04:32:48 PM
Don't forget about the fake airdrops and giveaways. Many are still becoming a victim of these schemes because they think that it's not going to spend them money. But with such airdrops and giveaways, many of these scams are wanting the participants to spend for gas fees and on top of that, there's a probable commission from them. That is why I am not fond of these because those that have a high risk appetite are the ones participating with those and sometimes, out of ignorance, there are victims that are even filling out forms and they voluntarily give their private keys as if it's really a requirement.

Airdrops are all on the raising at the moment and although some pays it is like a waste of resources to me. I am not even much worried about those that loses money on gas fees but Scammers easily get people through this airdrops by giving them phishing links to connect their wallets to and they end up wiping out large amounts of their funds. It is also something I don’t think can stop but my only advice is use a different device and a burner wallet.
It's not just actually about the gas fees and potential scams that will put your effort into waste. But once you obliged and verified as required by many of them, there's a big chance that your identification will be sold on some other markets where they'd probably sell that. Only these scammers and cons are the ones taking advantage of the participants and that's why I don't join any of them. IMO, it's just pure luck when someone gets to have a decent reward with these airdrops and if they happen to be profitable with it, then I am happy for them but I'd avoid the majority of them.
358  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: March 11, 2024, 01:36:11 PM
Now there is a new feature that bc.game has where when I deposit using fiat I can exchange it and withdraw it in USDT. I rarely play on bc.game and it seems like they didn't have this feature before, I don't know if this is new or old but I really like that feature.
That's not a new feature mate, that's integrated exchange and that's giving convenience to all of the bc.game users. I've used that it's not only USDT that you can convert there but there are others too. It's helpful when the fees are quite high and you want to do some transactions so just use that conversion in any crypto you desire that's supported there. You probably haven't seen that before but if it seems new to you, you can enjoy that feature whenever you decide to comeback and play again.

360  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: where to buy crypto accounts? on: March 11, 2024, 07:51:16 AM
You don't do that because you're just putting your funds into trouble if you're not going to use your own identity in verifying your exchange's KYC procedure. Why there's a need for you to buy if you have your own IDs to be used? Are your funds comes from illegal and that's why you don't want to use your own identity? As I am talking about trouble, you'd surely don't wanna do that when the exchange finds out that you're not the one that has been verified with that account. IPs, IDs, or any way for them to track the user through additional KYC verification will definitely going to put your account and funds on hold.
