341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't react to the fluctuations on: November 08, 2019, 03:26:40 AM
Do react. Go the other way.
You know there are FOMOs around then why not go do vice versa of what they are doing.
The good thing is you have been around crypto for a long time and base on experience it might go the other way.

So that is profit waiting for you.
But, they do think they did the right thing and same goes for you. So who will be wrong?
Since the volatility is too much, no one can predict it. They are risking that prediction for some money.
In other markets this could be a good strategy since I have seen many contrarian traders in other markets, but in the market of cryptocurrencies that is asking for trouble, just look at the movement that happened a week ago if you saw that movement and decided that it was a good idea to go against it at the wrong moment you could have lost 10% or more in hours while in other markets losing or earning 10% could take you whole year and if you used leverage your losses could be even bigger.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of tokens on: November 08, 2019, 02:48:49 AM
So regarding the fact that what it takes to create a token for example an ERC 20, i ahve found a gig on Fiverr.
Check the link.
https://www.fiverr.com/wedowo/create-your-ico-website-and-erc20-token?context_referrer=search_gigs&source=top-bar&ref_ctx_id=34a69322-cdbf-40a4-98e6-b9f51a1be52f&pckg_id=1&pos=3&context_type=auto&funnel=657f18cb-30b9-4ede-a7f7-139b402768ed

Seller is creating an ICO website as well as the token for just 50$. So your basic invetsment is 50$, Now you just need to do marketing by just making a telegram group and launching a scam bounty scheme and give members greed to give 10% commissions. And you are ready to scam people.
People choose these scammers to scam them and thats all. Not saying that all of the tokens are of this type but most of them are of indeed.
What an awful thing, it is precisely because of things like this that the interest in icos is never going to be high again, if they can invest only 50 dollars to create their coins this means that in order for this scam to be profitable the scammer only needs to deceive one person and that could be enough to give him profits, and once the scammer gets profits out of this he is incentivized to keep doing it, and this is probably the cheapest service out there, there must be other services that charge a lot more than that to create a fake coin that will pass many of the checks we will make to try to detect scam projects.
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: November 08, 2019, 02:06:35 AM
Learning by experience is a very effective way to learn but it is also incredibly painful, it is better to try to learn all what you can before you try to become a trader, if people did this I am sure we will not see as many traders making the same mistakes all the time, another factor against trading at this moment is that many choose to invest in altcoins because they want to multiply their bitcoin in a fast way but with altcoins in such a bad shape it is better to wait until things change.

Thats the thing about trading though, you can't really learn it from reading books (except for some TA basics), you have to learn from experience. One way to get experience without suffering losses is just trading without any money, write down every trade you would make but don't actually do them, then after a while you can see and evaluate what your result would have been. Or you can also just start with a small amount, that'll feel more realistic and you won't have to worry about losses.

And then when you feel you're experienced enough you can start trading real money  Wink
You can learn in that way but very few traders take the time to paper trade, what I see most of the time is that they make a few of those trades and if things point out to a favourable outcome then they get convinced they can make money in the market when their sample size is too small to make those kind of conclusions, you need to do this for long enough to understand how your system behaves under many different circumstances, after all you may have a system that makes you a fortune in a bull market but if it losses everything during a bear market than that system is useless.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL Bounty campaigns Ever Keep to their Rules and Regulations on: November 07, 2019, 04:25:38 AM
Can we ever have a bounty campaign that stick to its Rules from the beginning to the end of the campaign. can that ever be possible just like the old days. bounty campaigns of early 2017 use to plead with participates. Ran a bounty of 3 weeks without any additional weeks. maintained a fixed number of token or pay amount without altering the total pay budget. stick to their rules of paying immediately at the stipulated time. Most of these projects are successful and remains top notch.

The truth about New projects these days is none of them are real. all are fake and copy cats. Knows that they have nothing to offer. they are just after the Money. if they are fortunate to raise the money, fine business starts.  but if not;everything scrap to the scratch.  it all depends on the money. money first. once it is realized, they do everything possible to protect the money not the project. from the project CEO to CEO. to the legal team and the rest.
Bounty participants are the LEAST in the list of Payment. before you join that bounty. Make sure you have the free time and won't regret in case target was not met.
It seems you can see the market for what it is but for some reason you are unable to accept it, those days are gone and it does not matter how much you want them to comeback it does not make any difference, the only person you can control is yourself and when there are so many projects that do not fulfil their promises to the ones that made their project a success and they have no problem stealing from them then there is only one solution and that is to never participate in bounties again.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good projects/hard to reach softcap on: November 07, 2019, 03:33:02 AM
Few good projects i have seen are having hard time to gather funds, they are still far behind to reaching their target softcap
1. Bitwings
2. EZ365

What do you have in mind about these two project? they are good enough to give a try for me, what do you say?
I have not heard of those projects before but even if those projects are any good investors are not interested in new projects anymore, put yourself in their shoes investors have been losing money with new coins for two years in a row and the success stories are getting more rare by the day, and even if they wanted to invest in those projects how many of them still have the money to do it? It is better for the majority of the icos to admit defeat, the age of icos in this market has ended.
346  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC still have any rally before 2020? on: November 07, 2019, 02:36:52 AM
There is a speculation roaming around that bitcoin will hit between $16k - $18k before the end of this year and i think it could happen because there is no reason it will rise quickly just like last month from 7k to 9k and were not expecting it to happen that fast.

And i think were still in a bullish market and even the price of btc is going up and down. We just need to accumulate and hodl more bitcoin and atleast were ready once the market pumps up again.
I have been reading similar numbers on different sources and I have yet to see an explanation why they think the price will go up that fast, it is not that I am against it, those kind of prices that are so close to the all time high are a dream come true, it is just that I do not see the volume for this to happen, after the price of bitcoin went up with an incredible rise in the volume, everything has more or less remained the same and if this continues we could see the price going back to 7000.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another Shit Coin Up 155.54% (24H) Today on: November 07, 2019, 02:02:06 AM
When will these shit coins go away so all the damn money spent on them can go to real projects like Ripple's XRP? We need regulations now.

Wixlar (WIX) today's price is $0.0225 with a current market cap of $53,889,162.00. Wixlar (WIX) 24-hour price change is 155.54% up.
What regulations are you referring?its every investors rights on what they wanna do with their money and if they want to invest in certain coin to make a pump and dump it’s not against the rules
As much as I do not like those kind of altcoins which are there just to speculate with them there is nothing wrong with them, no investor is being forced to invest in them and if they want to do it then that is their problem, I would advice them to not do it but when it comes to cryptocurrencies we know we are completely free to do as we wish, I just hope they do not regret their decision as most likely such token will crash to less than 10% of its value during the next days.
348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical Analysis Bullshit or Not? on: November 07, 2019, 01:32:02 AM
Despite what many so called experts claim there is no system that can make you profits 100% of the time, for that you will need to analyze all the information available and somehow predict accurately what will happen and its is not possible, this is why technical analysis also gives you tools to lessen your losses, that way you can maximize your profits and minimize your losses and if you can do this in a consistent way then obtaining profits on a period of months or years is possible.

That's the key there, minimizing losses. You can make big profits through sheer luck though loss management is a big factor in technical analysis. A lot of people see this as a way to consistently make money out of day and swing trades. For me, being aware and knowing how to analyze the market movement helps more on avoiding bad decisions and having a better timing for your orders.

Unfortunately many traders only care about entry signals  and how much money they can generate which each trade and they leave out the most important aspect of trading which is money management, if you have a solid money management strategy you could make money even if you decided when to enter the market in a no systematic way, but since money management is not attractive as a subject you do not hear about it in most trading lectures or trading books.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: November 07, 2019, 01:10:31 AM
entusdi
ICO enthusiasts are starting to decrease, and investors are starting to turn to IEO or trading and that's their way to protect their money from scammers in ICO
Enthusiastic ico investors are disappearing because anyone that dares to invest in icos is losing his money, people are not going to keep investing in something if they will only get losses and then you hear the ico developers complaining about the situation when they have been the ones responsible for the state of the market, and while some investors are deciding to invest in ieos, as long as those projects do not materialize and create something tangible then they will keep failing too.
350  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 35K$ IN 2020 on: November 06, 2019, 02:56:57 AM
Most predictions that we see in the forum do not really have anything to back them up, so instead of seeing them as predictions we should see them as just the wishes of the one making the prediction, without a doubt bitcoin could grow significantly during the next year but as you say during the last halving bitcoin took quite a while to go up in price and it can be argued that when the market skyrocketed at the end of that year it was because of segwit and not the halving.

Well I doubt if any of them at all has basis lol. We see all sorts of price predcitions every year regardless of what's the status of the market and BTC. Most of them, we probably won't see until a decade or more. A lot of these predictions won't likely be fulfilled as well. It's better to just let them pass in your feeds. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion on what trajectory this market is going to take.
When it comes to take decisions on what I would do based on what the market is doing I always prefer to do my own analysis, however it is really fun to see what other traders are thinking about the markets and why they think the way they do, the markets can give all kind of contradictory signals and everyone is always looking for a way to predict when the next bull market will come and the only instance when this is not true is when we are already in a bull market and everyone is trying to tell when it is going to end.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin and alts on: November 06, 2019, 02:20:21 AM
If bitcoin goes up, altcoin should also go up, because altcoin is too long at the bottom and only moves a little. So Bitcoin must be stable after it experiences an increase later, maybe after that altcoin will turn green all and maybe it will be the season, because the movement of bitcoin is at a good price. Now actually if we are patient everything will be repeated again like 2017, because that is history and history can be repeated again.
Too many suppositions, altcoins are not going up because investors do not want to get scammed anymore, more than 90% of the altcoins in the market are scams, with that kind of odds who is going to want to invest in altcoins and if for some miracle we see an altcoin season before the end of this year you can be sure that only good altcoins like ETH will be affected by it while the rest of the coins in the market remain stale and do not move at all.
352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be careful with margin trading. (story) on: November 06, 2019, 01:51:03 AM
I guess I’ll say a few commonplace things, but I can’t be silent.

My friend lost a lot of money in the last bitcoin move. The story is that he traded on signals.
Having a deposit of several thousand dollars, he received a signal (these were signal from one very famous trader, he trains him) to open a short position with a leverage of 2.5x at the level of approximately $ 8000 (I may be slightly mistaken).
As you know everyone was waiting for the fall of Bitcoin. My friend shared information with me, but I decided that I would spend this weekend without trading.

In general, before going to bed, my friend decided to check the market, and was delayed for 5 minutes. These 5 minutes decided everything.
He saw how the price of bitcoin began to grow at a frantic pace. He was shocked. At first he wanted to give the debt back to the exchange,
but it didn’t work out because he was sitting on the phone, and in the application from the Huobi exchange there was simply a disgusting procedure for returning the debt, absolutely not intuitive.

In general, when the price reached $ 10,000, he was already in a panic, did not know what to do, because the liquidation price was displayed as $ 10,200.
He frantically begins to buy Bitcoin for the remaining USDT, thereby increasing the liquidation limit, but he did not have time, and his position was liquidated.
He lost a significant amount, and fell into a rather severe upset.
Another story of a person using margin trading and suffering the consequences, even famous traders have lost everything when they were margin trading and they probably knew more about the markets than what we are going to know about the subject during our lives, with the volatility of this market using margin trading is asking for trouble, and your friend was using a manageable level of leverage I have seen traders claiming they use a lot more leverage than that.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: November 06, 2019, 01:30:31 AM
The most reigning form of scamming is not less of ICO/IEO related. Most of them are now come in form of airdrop. They conduct an airdrop and inform the participants to pay a certain amount of ETH as gas fees for the airdrop earnings to be sent. They all end up in nothing but scam.
The best way to avoid being scammed is to check one's greed towards making unrealistic earnings.
The number and type of scams is infinite, another thing that airdrops are doing is to ask for KYC just for a few dollars worth of their coins and then they can sell this information later on the the dark net or even use this information on later scams, we need to be very careful scammers are using every resource at their disposal to take advantage of the honest people of this market and we cannot let them tarnish the image of cryptocurrencies anymore or we will never get to the level of adoption we have dreamed of.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin growth too slow? on: November 06, 2019, 12:18:22 AM
Altcoin market was struggling for one big reason. There are too many altcoins which people can buy and trade but very few that have a potential in the future and this alts was not been getting popularity because of slow movement in price. That's the reality and every new alts in the market was a pump and dump the tendency the altcoins keeps growing but the odds or the good projects was left behind in terms of price. In addition, the bear market was a big downfall of disappointment or dissatisfaction for most of the investors in the past. Altcoin market needs new money flow when bitcoin market starts to be alive once again.
Not to mention that in order to see an altcoin season we need new investors to come to the market and invest in those coins, but new investors seem to only be interested in bitcoin since they can see what has happened to the altcoin market and they are not interested in putting their money in a bunch of coins that may disappear in a matter of months, so if we want to see an altcoin season then most altcoins need clean their act and begin to show they can achieve something and stop being just a way to speculate with your money.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to go crazy again once Bitcoin reaches 20k? on: November 05, 2019, 02:15:54 AM
Is it possible that we see another altcoin season, if Bitcoin breaches the all-time high and go above 20k? Do you find a direct correlation?
It could happen but then the question becomes when bitcoin is going to surpass the previous all time high? And that is a difficult question for which no one has the answer, many are predicting this will happen at the end of this year or during the next halving but if it does not happen then when we are going to see an altcoin season? I believe that after the crash of 2017 and 2018 many of those which believed in altcoins lost so much money they do not have the means to keep supporting their favourite coins and this is showing in the lack of demand.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin at the end of 2019? on: November 05, 2019, 01:44:57 AM
if at the end of the year there is a pump, maybe Litecoin will be one of the altcoins that will experience a high increase. After halving Litecoin yesterday, LTC has not yet increased in price, but there are still many people who believe in this coin. So it means if there is a pump, there will be many people who will go back to buy LTC because ltc looks profitable.
If there is a pump then litecoin will go up in price, but we do not know if there is going to be a pump there could be a dump as well and if that happens you do not want to be holding any altcoins, the market is in a state that is difficult to predict, it could go either way since there are many mixed signals which makes difficult to predict its direction, it is better to not risk it by investing in a coin that has not been performing that well for years like litecoin.
357  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: November 05, 2019, 01:15:17 AM
Re: Topic

In my case, as a bounty hunter, I used the money I got from bounty hunting to buy some coins with potential. Unfortunately, I sold all of ‘em because of an emergency.

Now, I am going back again to bounty hunting to use the money I get from it to invest to maybe BTC or some potential coin in the market.

Have not used credit cards ever since.
In addition, i think that if you have only one source of income like low fiat salary than it would be very risky to invest your money in crypto. Only wealthy people can truly allow themself to take a risk of investing in high volatility assets.
Anyone can benefit from investing in cryptocurrencies regardless of your income level what it happens is that those that have high salaries can take bigger chances by investing in crypto simply because they have more money but if you are convinced this market is for you and you can hold your coins even when the market is not very favourable then it is fine to invest in this market, what happens is that many of those that believe they can hold their coins find out they cannot at the worst possible time.
358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: November 05, 2019, 12:49:07 AM
Yes it is, if done correctly of course. Daytrading is a way of life and it's not the easiest job you know.
Did it for 2 months but didn't turned out as planned. I was using tools on sites like Blackfolio/newscrypto etc. Will probably get back to day trading when i stop working.
And that my friend is the issue with day trading even if you are skilled enough to make profits with day trading you need to make it your main occupation and if you have a job or other kind of occupations then you cannot really day trade at all because you may miss an important movement in the market while you are doing something else, it is better to become a swing trader that way you only hold your coins for a few days to a few weeks and you can perform your trades in minutes and it combines really well with whatever job you may have.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are to be blame for what happened to them on the internet on: November 05, 2019, 12:15:07 AM
When it comes to money people like trying out things the way they see fit, try first learn later is the rules of newbies and thats why they always get scammed easily, HYIP, Pyramid Scheme, as dangerous and alarming these two are people still join them till date, both crypto and internet is not the evil here, people are to be blame for what happened to them
They share a great deal of the responsibility for losing their money to scammers, after all we know very well why those people invest money in websites that promise them to get great profits in a short amount of time, they do it only for the money even if is obvious that obtaining those kind of results is impossible, however we must not forget either that the ones that are directly responsible for this are the scammers which are taking advantage of people like them and they keep doing this because no one denounces them so they can be prosecuted.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has alt season started? on: November 04, 2019, 05:21:54 AM
Do you believe that it has started? I have a good feeling that I should buy them before winter. Prove me wrong.
Follow your instincts and why need to prove you wrong?seems like there’s no seriousness in your plans lol, because the tru investors don’t look for negatives but instead the positive is what they wanna here if they are already decided to buy the said coins
Not unless they are in doubt then that’s the time to ask for another opinions
There is no need for anyone of us to prove the op wrong, the market will do that, if he is correct then the market will have to go up during the next weeks but if that is not true then the market will remain at the current levels or even go down, personally I do not see how this is an altcoins market when bitcoin is still in complete control of the market and altcoins are just following it in a weak way, it is better to remain invested in bitcoin than to waste our time with altcoins which do not grow.
