341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in and losing the bet on: March 29, 2024, 05:58:39 AM
That Ace deal happening when you suddenly go all in is probably the goofiest thing but a tragic coincidence for you too because I guess you're just unlucky at that time and yes that kind of moment can really make you blame that the casino is manipulating the game to some degree but I got to tell you though that if you've been playing there for awhile or a long time now, you'd probably see the manipulation and cheating that they do and it should've happened to you more than usual but in the case that it didn't happen, it's probably just an unlucky/tragic coincidence.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The power of HODLing BTC on: March 28, 2024, 05:14:09 PM
Woah. That is indeed crazy. Such a huge respect to whoever that person
for having the patience and trust in bitcoin. They have gained so much profits.
Makes me kind of jealous I was not yet aware of bitcoin at 2010 but hey, at least
now I am holding it and I intend to hold it for dear life Grin
Definitely biggest respect, if this person really did hodl this long then that means that this man trusted the process and that they believe in the technology and the utility of bitcoin. I guess your faith in bitcoin doesn't really need to be that strong but you need to have that faith because if you did, bitcoin would eventually deliver and give you the profit that you deserve for hodling and waiting it out. That person is probably ecstatic right now with the value of the bitcoin that they've got, they're celebrating right now even if they don't sell anything right now.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The marvellous events that shaped bitcoin history on: March 28, 2024, 04:12:41 PM
This is really a wall of text, such an epic. I believe you learnt this from JJG. sincerely speaking I dont even know where to start from, you can make it more interesting just like @maus0728 have said. People don't fancy or put interest in a luxury of text.  if it was 3 lines or 5 It will be easier to attent to. But anyways let see how it goes.

3 lines or 5 lines of what, the history of bitcoin, your joking right?

Still working on it, I'm not really good at this
@Pi-network314159 is probably talking about each events, you can probably do some condensing and compressing so you're not overloading too much information, the goal should be fast delivery in as quick time and as much information in a short time. You don't have to be discouraged and say you're not good at this, you can always come back to this and maybe even learn about how to do a thread by exploring other large text posts all over the forum, it's not a big deal that you're not getting the perfect post now, what you're doing isn't that easy especially if you're typing it out but once this is done, you're going to be making yourself really proud.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to the common man. on: March 28, 2024, 03:27:13 PM
If only the common man would have to be patient, then a guarantee of life long success can be attainable.
Patience is a virtue but you got to understand that not everyone can afford to buy large quantities of bitcoin anymore, even the respectable satoshi amount is too expensive for the common man so even if the common man has a bitcoin or starts investing now or maybe even at the last lowest price of bitcoin, they wouldn't still be able to afford to buy a decent amount that wouldn't hurt their wallet, it's a really difficult thing to say anymore to be patient about bitcoin especially if you've only started to invest in it now, you got to be as patient as possible or else you'd be getting nothing. Bitcoin isn't for your average income common man anymore, even if you can do a slowly but surely consistent DCA, you'll have a hard time doing the hodling and saving, it's full of frustration that you don't have enough bitcoin.
345  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Finally! on: March 28, 2024, 02:29:12 PM
Took them a long time to call out, it seems that their new weapons systems testing are on halt or there's some sort of moral intervention that's dawning on this people that US finally decided for a ceasefire, it's a sad day for Palestine but a victory for them to not be exterminated off the face of the Earth, this is the biggest break that they're going to get and I hope that from here on out, it's going to just improve for the betterment of the country of Palestine. Israel really needs to check up on their issues because they're not on a war, they're doing a genocide.
346  Other / Politics & Society / Re: National Guard to be deployed on April 8 during Solar Eclipse on: March 28, 2024, 01:56:51 PM
They're just there to probably lower the chances of a riot, it's always a likely thing to happen in a lot of crowded places so that's not really surprising that they do this, what I'm questioning is that they're using the National Guard to do this when most of the time it's police or riot police. Maybe they do got an intel that something's about to go down on the April 8 Solar Eclipse. Kind of looking forward to it but worried at the same time because riots are a possibility.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my gambling life started. on: March 27, 2024, 04:22:55 PM
The story is not much different from what I experienced but all gambling is just for fun because playing it doesn't involve making money and only bets very small amounts and the development of the times makes more people gamble online and actually there is a quite striking difference from gamble together with friends by gambling at online casinos, if we really gamble for fun usually playing with friends will feel much more enjoyable than gambling at online casinos, but the advantage of online casinos is that they can be played anytime and anywhere so when we feel bored, even without friends we can immediately get rid of boredom by gambling.
Such a relatable story and I do agree with you regarding gambling being an entertainment thing not a profit prospect but a lot of people don't know that anyway, they don't know it yet but they don't gamble for fun, when money's involved, that's going to be your only main focus, you will never be able to move your mind out of the gutter created by greed, the only people that can get out of the bind that is gambling for profit is those that are aware of what they're doing and what effect does their gambling problem has on other people.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dana thought he lost $80k one night and his advice for gamblers on: March 26, 2024, 04:22:34 PM
When you lose some money, you needs to stops playing gambling and not thinks to recover your lose. You needs to check your money and if it's almost runs out, it's better to stops playing gambling rather than lose all of your money.
It's a good advice but the only problem is that it's not working so far, people seem to care more about doing a breakeven rather than stopping and taking a pause in their gambling to either stop the bleeding of money from the losses or to rethink a new way to do things. People have no self-control and most of the time, it's detrimental to whether they'd follow a logical advice like this one and with a lot of people that's becoming financially unstable because of their messy gambling habit, it seems that the theory that a lot of people don't have any kind of self-control seems to have to some ground.

What happened to Dana is a really devastating thing for him but a prosperous day for the casino definitely, that amount that his lost in gambling is probably enough to make me retire right now so damn, I can't even begin to fathom how expensive that loss is, don't drink and gamble kids, you will never know how much you've lost until you're sober.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are crash games profitable??? on: March 26, 2024, 03:23:35 PM
I don't think it's a good idea to associate profitability when you're gambling OP, it's definitely not going to go that way when you're a casual gambler that don't have an unlimited amount of spare money at disposal to use when you're gambling, that's not how it's going to be with crash, sure it can make you multiply your money really fast but you've got to understand that sometimes it's not going to go your way and you can easily get greedy with crash and try to think that it's going to go up even higher and then it suddenly goes down, that's what has happened to many people that's played crash before, they got too greedy and they lost, what makes you think you're going to be different than any other people that have played this game before.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: March 26, 2024, 02:46:03 PM
You here speak like Jake is already a dead man Cheesy But the last time Mike has knocked out a professional boxer was more than 20 years ago. Of course in his weight class just a slight connection is enough to put to sleep unprepared person. But will he be able not to run out of stamina during whole fight? Jake isnt a stupid guy who will go straight with hands down against such a boxer. Of course he is going to make Mike tired by running away from him or clinching.
Exactly, I'm thinking that even if he's an animal on the boxing ring, the fight against old age will never be a win for him but the wealth of experience that he's got, I'd probably say that's his biggest advantage, or this could be a stunt and no one's going to really fight, someone might cancel it out the last minute, who knows what happens next. I've seen some videos of Mike training and I'm not an athletic person but basing on what I've watched, he's still spry for his age, he's in his 50s right? Which means that if he's keeping up a physique like that, it means that he's still somehow training, maybe not boxing oriented training anymore but just body maintenance type of exercise. What I'm looking out for is his punching power, would he still be able to release his power punches back in his prime or maybe even in his later years as a boxer?
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Get one btc right away or 5 btc with a bet? on: March 26, 2024, 01:51:17 PM
Funny how there's about 28 current vote that they'd take the 1 bitcoin and not risk a 50/50 game to get the 5 bitcoin but I think that those who've chosed including me are trying to do the most logical thing to do, get the money and quickly get out, that's how I see this dilemma that we're into, we choose whether we go the difficult route or we choose the easy way which is already profitable, I hope that someday, someone's going to tell me to choose between this two or any similar dilemma game, I'd choose the wasy money 10 times out of 10.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your worst nightmare in a casino? on: March 24, 2024, 11:42:18 AM
Worst nightmare for me would be that I'm accused by the casino of cheating and that casino isn't your typical casino but a mobster or mafia owned casino, that's going to be anyone's nightmare I think especially if you didn't do any of the things that they're accusing you of, you'd be scared to death of this one, your imagination will be going through all the worse things that they're going to do to you just to make you pay for what you've done.
353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best way to go about making a crypto casino. on: March 24, 2024, 11:02:20 AM
Even though this is the gambling section, I don't believe that this is the right place to ask. You need to ask for assistance from professionals who specialize in this field. Moreover, I'm not quite sure if you have understood how complicated it is for an individual; you'll also need to acquire a license and, certainly, a legal team or practitioner to represent you. These two by themselves are costly procedures, let alone the game and website development. I think you need to think this through. Maybe you could consider developing a single game, like Bustabit's Crash, in case you have any unique ideas.
I think it fits just right in my opinion, it's about gambling after all, it's not like the people involved in building a business doesn't frequent this board, I'm sure that they do since this is a really populous board with thousands of people posting here daily, it's only a matter of time that a businessman that's been a member here will see this, also there's probably some other people in this forum that do other businesses, they can legitimately give advice on how you start a business, most of the time there's some similarities in gambling business and any other businesses out there, anything gambling should be on this board in my opinion.
354  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you had bought the previous ATH you're on profit on: March 24, 2024, 09:59:22 AM
It's not a lot of profit though, last ATH before the latest ATH of bitcoin, it was around 69k and now it's only at 73k, only a 4k difference. But if you were consistently investing in bitcoin at the previous ATH even through the price dips (especially at the price dips) then yes, you would be in profit, you'd also be the envy of your bitcoin peers that never had the opportunity to invest during the dip and now they've regretted what they've done and they see you as an icon or an idol to follow but I digress, this very reason that even if you buy right now when the prices are so high and the price peaking is the most likely thing that would happen and you hodl to it and have in mind that the bitcoin that you're buying right now is for the long-term profit, you will always be rewarded with a really big profit no matter how you look at it, just need the patience to hold on to those bitcoin no matter what FUD may come through that door, your wait will always be worth it with bitcoin. At this day and age, not believing that you would profit in bitcoin in the long-term is stupidity and not skepticism anymore.
355  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might reach $100k before halviing. What is your exit strategy? on: March 24, 2024, 07:58:42 AM
If it ever does reach 100k in the near future, my only exit strategy is to take profit, all of the bitcoins that I've hodl in a while now would be quickly sold before anything happens, I know that I might miss out on a bigger profit because I didn't wait but profit is profit to me so I don't think that I'd necessarily regret selling all of it once it hits to that price point, I don't even think that it's logical for someone to not sell it when there's the opportunity to get paid big. That's just my opinion though, some people might have a different price goal but I think that I can speak to everyone that when the profit is just too much to handle, the option of selling right now should become the more apparent option.
356  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 2030 Assumptions on: March 24, 2024, 06:13:39 AM
Bitcoin gained mass popularity this year. So I don't expect any massive dumps like previously. To reach 2030, we have six years on our hands. This is enough time to be more popular for Bitcoin. During these six years, we will see more adaptation, and more institutional investors will take entry into Bitcoin. Based on my experience, we would discover bitcoin trading above $200,000. We may see more countries and central banks start using Bitcoin.
That popularity also attracted a lot of institutional investors that are mostly dealing in stocks and now they're at the bitcoin market, I'm sure that we will see massive dumps no matter what year it will be for bitcoin, I don't think that bitcoin's volatility will ever change and with more whales trying to manipulate the market, it's a certainty that we would see big dumps but on the positive side, anyone is good with expecting a big pumps too, bigger than what we're experiencing now, bitcoin adoption is steadily growing too which means that as time goes by, more and more people will know about bitcoin and with more people in it, the demand will increase more than ever, it's a cycle of more people investing and then the market would grow much crazier. 2030 is a long time so who knows what's in store for us, some of us can't even fathom what's next for bitcoin in next two months, let alone 6 years.
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC dip again? on: March 24, 2024, 03:20:39 AM
Yes I did set, my plan for buying the dip is that once my target price shows, I just buy it all in so I don't have anything to worry about, no need for DCA, I just want to get it over with and make sure that I'm getting all the bitcoin value that I want, waiting for the right price during a price dip is actually a bad idea in my opinion because you'd be constantly choosing and making the decision of waiting it out again and again because you believe that it can go lower, at least when you buy at once in a target price when bitcoin price dips, you know for a fact that you're secured for long-term and even if the price goes much lower, you can always just buy more again when you've got your paycheck because I assume that everyone's got a job and not just watching bitcoin go up all day long.
358  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is a senile, old Bitch on: March 23, 2024, 11:43:13 PM
We'll, how come you people in your ever glorious country of USA don't do anything about it? There's always the option to elect the right people to the position of a president if you ask me so how come y'all don't do anything about that? People got the power, maybe the corporate masters try to say they own us but banding together and you'll see that they're completely wrong. I don't think that Old Joe is even the person that's deciding what's the next move for the country anymore, he's senile and a bitch as you've said so there's no way that he's ever going to be improving anytime soon, maybe you guys should learn who to put in that oval office after this disgrace of an old man.
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: You have a better chance with Bitcoin now than the next minute! on: March 23, 2024, 09:46:47 AM
I really like speculation like this because it based on price history and not with other bullshit out of the world predictions. This kind of speculation on price is very to easy to grasp due to a clear pattern on the price growth.
The new ATH before halving hasn't happened before in bitcoin so I don't see how this could be a good prediction that's based on the market history when bitcoin already made history with this new one, you're right about the factor about the ETF which means that OP's prediction for the last price for this year wouldn't be a possibility since the volume is much higher than the last time because of ETF, there's more investors now although they're not directly investing in bitcoin, they're still affecting the price.
360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: March 23, 2024, 08:50:28 AM
Ive been hearing about situations where someone buys a coin for a certain rate and not quite long after,  the said coin drops in value, or  someone sells his coin for a certain rate and then it appreciates just after.
What's your take on this? Given the period we're in is it buy time or sell time?
My take on this is that person is the kind of person that easily falls for get rich quick schemes, they don't deserve or they shouldn't be in the crypto market if they don't have the patience to wait for a crypto to go up in price or have the nerves to not panic when the price suddenly drops because that's bound to happen a lot in crypto market, some of these people though are just miseducated and misinformed so it's not really their fault that they're like that, they can be change if they find the right people to teach them the things that they need to know about crypto, some are lucky enough to have this while there's others that will learn the hard way, by losing a lot of money before doing some form of research regarding a certain cryptocurrency.
