3582  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Help build a better Bitcoin logo! on: July 02, 2012, 09:52:40 AM
For the persons complainting about the current logo not existing in high resolution, here it is in SVG.

I would've uploaded it to the wiki, but it didn't let me because it doesn't allow SVG files to be uploaded Roll Eyes
3583  Other / Off-topic / Re: The mysterious 0.031337 BTC transactions on: July 02, 2012, 09:15:07 AM
In this case http://blockchain.info/address/1DYmN874o2VmuCJNhTo3q3B8FGbda2yP6F was just someone giving some props to the address owner, maybe suspecting the address balance is the product of some hack Wink

And I would say there's something fishy going on as you follow the transactions back, you'll notice that the Bitcoins are geting cleaned in chunks of 6000 BTC.

Or maybe just an early adopter... This is the originating address http://blockchain.info/address/1AYtnRppWM7tWQaVLpm7TvcHKrjKxgCRvX
400K BTC that were consolidated there on January 27, 2011, coming from various sources.
And seeing as a lot of those coins that were sent there are the 50 BTC block reward coins, it's some miner.
A very rich miner I would say lol
3584  Other / Off-topic / Re: Random stuff I've noticed in the forums... on: July 02, 2012, 09:09:31 AM
WTH... leet?  Shocked I figure that's what happens when theymos messes with the templating engine while drunk lol

I never said I wasn't going to pay you guys back. I am waiting for paypals response.
On another note If any of you contact me in anyway other than by this forum, my paypal email or my sites email I will call the police and tell the them you are stalking me.

Are you sure you want to go that way?
The fact is that you owe all this people a LOT of money. Antagonizing any of them is not the right thing to do and only makes you look bad.
3587  Economy / Lending / Re: tgmarks lending Wnd 40 BTC on: July 01, 2012, 09:21:39 PM
by the way tgmarks, i mistaken your name for tomatocage's name

he is the one that comes in to every lending thread and claims OP is scammer

Even a broken clock is right 2 times a day...
3588  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - Verified rolls, up to 64,000x winning on: July 01, 2012, 08:24:42 PM
That scrennshot tells me nothing.

Tx id's do tell the story, screenshots are nothing more than noise. Especially when you name your address "wall3t" instead of showing it.

The blockchain doesn't lie. Incredible, isn't it?

Also, do you even realise that there is no transaction with that value on the address that you say the 2cents are missing, so, it can't be the same address?

How about you go to your Bitcoin client options and mark the checkbox that says "Show addresses in tx list"?
Then you'll see that the address you so conveniently call "wall3t" is this one: 1Jc9rBK9UcBDFczSiR6sCn3KAZaKeNCvuY

Also: STOP LABELING ALL YOUR ADDRESSES WITH "wall3t"!

3589  Economy / Lending / Re: tgmarks lending Wnd 40 BTC on: July 01, 2012, 06:31:12 PM
Also, is the tx ID posted on any PM you sent him, along with a repayment address?

If none of that exists, you'll have a tough time getting him a scammer tag.

I don't remember if it was senbonzakura who couldn't get a scammer tag for someone because he did post a repayment address, so there was no proof the guy didn't really repay.
All that stuff must be made public, or at least verifiable on the persons PM's I think.
3590  Economy / Lending / Re: tgmarks lending Wnd 40 BTC on: July 01, 2012, 06:22:03 PM
why did you give him loan, when you come to each lending thread and say the OP is scammer ?

Do as I say, do not do as I do, etc.

Also, the guy said he was investing in his exchange website. Which website would that be tgmarks, do you know?
Also, check google cache for a copy of the linkedin page.
3591  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL Single and BFL mini-rig seems to have inferior performance on: July 01, 2012, 06:10:11 PM

Well. wrong point. To clarify it further - look @ transactions of BFL:

http://blockchain.info/address/1JuZT3sBomuzcFjQvVTLdXM97U6wCvazJR

Today there's 7'500 BTC is left (of total 112k BTC turnover).

That address belongs to bit-pay, not to BFL, so, you can't say for sure if that payment was for them or not.
Also, the only transaction to that adress today was of 3.500 BTC, not 7.500 like you say.
Look at the first transaction that ever went to it, 1 year ago http://blockchain.info/tx-index/1018671/3f53678ae6f8d51f004705aae9dff75c62e924fe34fb26c04c869f861fade274

You don't seem as smart as you say you are, dude. Roll Eyes

I think the point was the huge spike in tx activity on 6/23 forward.  Plausible.

What's plausible is that it's a Bit-pay consolidation adress. Just look at the exact sums that get sent to the address.
Bit-pay converts the USD price to BTC each time a payment is made, so those exact amounts are impossible. Also, they use a different address for each transaction.
What you're seeing there is one of bit-pay's cold storage addresses. Ofcourse some of those coins are from BFL sales, but that's not a BFL address.
3592  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: TheBitMint - Buy Bitcoins With PayPal on: July 01, 2012, 06:04:58 PM
my permit is coming soon but it says my birthday the problem now is that im under 18

I think the real question now is: Did you open the account before or after January 1, 2012?
3593  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: TheBitMint - Buy Bitcoins With PayPal on: July 01, 2012, 05:57:13 PM
How to get verified by paypal. "He just needs to do what they ask. Nothing more to it.
Add a valid Credit Card and/or bank account and upload scans of his DL/ID/Passport and proof of residence."

It's that EASY.

it's not easy at all im not 18. so i have no id no passport and no dl only a bank account and a prepaid visa

You have no ID? Since when? Where do you live, man? Somalia? lol
In any civilized country you'll need to have an ID card.
So, scan that ID card, scan a letter from your bank, can be a pdf taken from your internet banking as long as it holds your address, and upload the scans on their site, and add that bank account to Paypal.

And, redrobin, yes, it's that EASY. If he sends them the stuff, the ID verification probably will be enough to take out the limitation of the paypal account, and that takes 24hrs or less. The bank account verification is usually done in 3 or 4 business days, sometimes less.

This turned out to be a great Idea!

No regrets, right guys?

Holly thread necro!
3595  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: TheBitMint - Buy Bitcoins With PayPal on: July 01, 2012, 05:27:49 PM
Well hopefully someone can advise TheBitman on how to get successfully verified!

He just needs to do what they ask. Nothing more to it.
Add a valid Credit Card and/or bank account and upload scans of his DL/ID/Passport and proof of residence.

ifit helps i have a premier...the one everyone is involved with then a personal i made a few days ago with no money idc about the personal

I suspect you'll only see the money 6 months from now, sorry to say. Under 18 and you opened the account a few days ago, when their terms clearly say you can't do it... They'll mail you a check in 180 days, so, I hope you used your real address. Smiley

Did you mess the punctuation and you mean you older account, the premier, is the one where this mess is happening?
Re-read that sentence 5 times and can't still figure that out lol

Also, sending or receiving too many gifts on a Premier account is suspicious, as Premier accounts are for persons who do business in their own name.
3596  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: TheBitMint - Buy Bitcoins With PayPal on: July 01, 2012, 05:23:31 PM
This one is for you Psy.

"No Multiple Accounts. Should you register for more than one Personal Account, PayPal reserves the right to terminate all of your accounts and will restrict you from the system going forward. Users may register and hold one Personal Account and either one Premier or one Business Account."   Grin

Reading that carefully, I'm within their terms, 1 Personal account in my name, 1 Premier account also on my name, and 1 Business account in the name of my company.
I should also note that the Personal and Premier accounts are in 2 different countries, each one verified with my ID from each of the countries Wink

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/terms-outside

II. User Responsibilities

As of January 1, 2002, you must be at least 18 years of age to register for an account and use the Service. Additionally, if your credit report reflects an unacceptable level of risk, you will not be eligible to use the service.

Let's hope he registered his account before that date, then Wink

Worked like a champ!   Grin
Thanks so much.  Guess we're newbies for a reason...  You're a lot better at searching than I--I tried to search on things like "0 blocks" or "connected no blocks".   I have been reading the board a lot for the last week and just decided to join today....

I just searched for "armory datadir" without the quotes and voilá lol
