361  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Trust Wallet Alternative (multi currency) on: July 13, 2023, 11:32:41 PM
Buying a hardware wallet is a good option in this case.
That's the best option especially if you're planning to hold it for a long time.
Because IMO, these mobile wallets seems like hot wallet not intended for cold storage.

I didn't try this wallet but I think they're almost the same features as the Trust wallet.
Has anyone tried Mycelium wallet?  If ain't wrong here it is an open-source wallet the same as the Trustwallet.
362  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price forecast 2024 on: July 11, 2023, 11:10:02 PM
It could be, and a $100k Bitcoin price prediction is nearly possible.

There are a lot of predictions from a big whale or even a common popular celebrity and I only think that they're just trying to gain attention.
That being said, it's difficult to accurately forecast the exact timing or the possibility of a potential bull run.  Even though, given the historical patterns and the ongoing interest in cryptocurrencies, it is plausible to expect that Bitcoin might experience a bull run before the conclusion of the end of 2024 or it could be right after the next halving.

But I appreciate this kind of prediction, to give courage to the small Bitcoin holder.
363  Economy / Speculation / Re: The ideal price of bitcoin is $557.714,00 on: July 10, 2023, 11:59:29 PM
With this, it's all gonna be just a matter of time.
This should be the right answer, time will tell it that will happen because as we know Bitcoin price will always vary on the demand and supply.
But who knows if we reach that amount of price by next year or if it could be other years, so it always matters on the time.

Though I'm a crypto enthusiast and I'm happy that Bitcoin price will reach that amount but IMO, that's impossible and I think it takes how many years before it will happen or will never happen.

Seems like this song will be a good answer to OP's question.
364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things that influence our trading decisions on: July 10, 2023, 11:53:19 PM
Emotion is the main driving force on a lot of failed trades.
If this was in the system, it could be the main core. Cheesy
Our emotions have a profound impact on the decisions we make, especially when it comes to trading and there are two key emotions that often influence our decision-making process are fear and greed. Fear can be a powerful force, causing us to hesitate when entering or exiting trades.  It can lead us to exit prematurely, even when we know it may be too early to do so.  So this is very important to pay attention to.

By controlling emotions, we can maintain discipline and stick to our trading strategies, even in the face of market fluctuations because it allows us to make rational decisions based on objective criteria, increasing the probability of successful trades.  In fact, emotional control helps us manage risk effectively and maintain a long-term perspective, fostering consistency and most of all to have successful trades.
365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Crypto may go wrong for some people on: July 10, 2023, 11:33:04 PM
CONCLUSION
Crypto isn't for lazy people. It involves research and continuous learning. It may look bored if money isn't made in the first few months but will definitely make you smile after months of endurance.
I tend to agree with this and that's why many people when experiencing failure will easily quit because in fact from the start they didn't know technically about Bitcoin or crypto in general.  Crypto transactions rely on blockchain technology, which is generally considered secure, but the security of individual accounts and wallets is a concern.  Hacking incidents, phishing attacks, and thefts of cryptocurrency have occurred, leading to the loss of their crypto as OP said.  If proper security measures are not implemented, many of those new in the crypto space may become targets for cybercriminals.

So it's most important to be knowledgeable in the crypto space before investing in it.
366  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Has A Lower Value In Binance on: July 09, 2023, 11:59:18 PM
What the Hell is going on?  The value of Bitcoin in the Binance app is $29,125 but when I Google it, its $31,323?!?!?
Its just that the app is not updated or the Google might be delay? Which one could be more accurate to see, but if in Google its says 31k then probably a glitch on binance app. Before I can see that too, cause the app is lagging or having some sort of error. Anyway it could not be so far from the difference.
Not the app was outdated, it's already explained above.
OP using the Binance US app more than the global app, and the reason could be these,
  • Fiat currency support
  • Time zone differences
  • Regulation and compliance
  • Liquidity

Because the reason is Binance Global has a wide variation and supports more coins than the US.
150+ cryptocurrencies for the US and 600+ cryptocurrencies for Binance.
367  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 09, 2023, 11:35:07 PM
Apart from this tomato farming, I still run a poultry and a piggery farm as part of my agro business. Agriculture is lucrative and comes with alot of opportunities for both youths and adults. Invest in one or more Agro business today and save the world from hunger as well as to rescue your country from recession.
That's great and the same here too, and I'm thankful that I was part of a signature paid campaign that can able to sustain my capital on this kind of investment agro farming.  IMO, I find vegetable plantation and livestock farming to be my preferred choice in agriculture because it offers a range of opportunities for profitability, given the increasing demand for fresh and healthy produce.  By adopting effective cultivation techniques, efficient resource management, and market analysis, the vegetable plantation can be a rewarding and sustainable agricultural endeavor.  Aside from that, did you know that all kinds of farmers in my country were supported by our government, just like giving soil fertilizer and hybrid seedlings.

I tend to agree that fact, agriculture has the potential to help a country overcome a recession by providing employment opportunities, generating income, and ensuring food security.  By creating jobs, particularly in rural areas, agriculture can address unemployment and boost the overall economy IMO.
368  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW TO AVOID DOUBLE POSTING (CLOUDFARE ISSUE) on: July 09, 2023, 11:05:12 PM
It's very simple to avoid this mistake of double posting.

Refresh the website --> Check your profile history post --> Done.

How many of you here check your post history after done posting?
I think that's the best practice to avoid this mistake.
369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can gambling and crypto trading be considered as skills with $10k gain a month? on: July 09, 2023, 10:56:54 PM
• Can  gambling or crypto trading/crypto investment be considered as a skill?
• Can a gambler or crypto trader/crypto investor earn as much as $10k in a month besides any of the aforementioned skills?
• What other skills not listed here, can make one up to $10k a month?
• is it even okay to classify being a bitcoiner/signature/campaign member as a skill? If yes, under what skill bracket can it be included?
We all know that gambling and crypto trading/investment can be considered skills to some extent because both activities involve analyzing market trends and managing risks.  Skilled gamblers and traders can develop strategies, understand market dynamics, and apply technical analysis or even fundamental analysis to improve their chances of success.  So yes, though they have different percentages of chances, they'll surely have the same percentage of skills both of them

But none of them has a guarantee to make a profit because some traders and investors have been able to achieve substantial profits within a short period, while others may experience losses.  Though it depends on your skills and how frequently your winning than losing.

You can make a huge list of this that possibly can make up to $10k a month.
  • Software development
  • Sales and marketing management
  • Creative arts like in NTF
  • Entrepreneurship
Those skills could earn more than $10k in the crypto space.

Yes, we are.
It may not necessarily be classified as a skill on its own but these skills can be grouped under broader categories such as "Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Expertise" that's the reason why we're here as a community.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance cashback incentive - Would you hold BNB on the exchange? on: July 09, 2023, 10:24:18 PM
IMO if you're a regular user of Binance, why not.
Besides the cashback and incentives, it also opens those other benefits that are offered by Binance if you're holding their BNB.
Just like qualifying for the Binance VIP programs and allowing BNB users to apply for a crypto loan but if your purpose is to have cashback, that's pretty small to pay attention to.  So there are too many benefits that might you'll unlock while holding your BNB on Binance.

That's might the purpose why Binance users prefer to hold their BNB on exchange.
371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot on: July 08, 2023, 11:53:50 PM
Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot

And is there any other alternatives

I have 4k btc to invest
It depends on your trading skills and knowledge.
If you're a skilled trader and have good trading experience, using bots has a positive effect on your trading activity.
When using a bot for trading offers automation and the potential for more precise execution of trades, these bots can be programmed with specific strategies and algorithms to make decisions based on market conditions.  This option is suitable if you have deep knowledge and skills in trading strategies and want to maintain more control over your investments.
But, there's a big but that I mentioned ahead, it requires technical knowledge to set up and monitor the bot effectively.

If you're new to crypto and have zero knowledge, I would prefer to hold your Bitcoin as your investment for a long period of time.
Because both options you've said are very risky.
372  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Can technology and development of bitcoin be adjusted on: July 08, 2023, 11:37:19 PM
Just want to know if its possible to convert bitcoin into physical sensitive micro chips as programs, which can be codes with the chips to know the price of bitcoin with any electronic device that's inform of CASH~ point of service (P.O.S)
It's more likely on-chain transactions, right?
But if you're talking about the Bitcoin wallet and not Bitcoin itself turning into physically sensitive microchips, then you might be wrong about this.
Because we know the fact that Bitcoin is a digital cryptocurrency that exists on a decentralized network, and it primarily operates through digital wallets and online transactions.  So it should be broadcasted by the network or they called it a public ledger.

If this idea is what you meant for, it has existed already.
By using mobile wallets or QR code scanning to initiate transactions, we utilize the existing infrastructure of the payment terminals and didn't require physical microchips or special hardware.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AI can hold a Bitcoin balance, send/receive Bitcoin. Worrying? on: July 08, 2023, 11:14:21 PM
As folks who are bitcoin bullish do you have any concerns or worries regarding this development?

No. People who've tried chatbot (such as chatGPT) already know AI sometimes can produce wrong information. Imagine what would happen if the AI send to wrong recipient, send wrong amount or set wrong amount of transaction fee. So anyone who value their Bitcoin wouldn't let AI manage their Bitcoin.
I tend to agree with this and I think this picture out that no one will trust AI to hold funds.
IMO, trusting an AI system with the custody and management of Bitcoin may we feel uneasy, we might worry about the potential for errors or malicious actions that are made by AI.  We prefer to have full control over funds by holding their private keys.

So I think this is impossible to happen because AI isn't capable in the Bitcoin system.
374  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unconfirmed Balance on: July 04, 2023, 11:47:46 PM
Upon having small research because I dont have any idea of this wallet, you experienced a "Swept Lightning Anchor" as they called it.
I found this on Github related to your problem and it might it could help you.
https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/issues/6241.

Does it support lightning network?
Yes, it's a mobile app that supports LN. (upon my research)
375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the best strategy Trading configuration on: July 04, 2023, 11:21:39 PM
I'd rather make a trade using my own skill rather than using trading bots as it won't bring me to success.
Skills are the most important above all and all bots or just ordinary trading tools.
Ain't against the automated bot because, in the first place, it will not work if you don't have the knowledge and skills to do it, this is just a tool and you're the one who primarily set up the bot.

Bots can execute trades and react to market conditions at a much faster pace than human traders.  They can monitor multiple markets simultaneously, analyze vast amounts of data, and execute trades with precision and speed, which means it works on behalf of you by following your command.  This allows for quicker order placement, reducing the risk of missing out on profitable opportunities.

But of course, IMO I only use a trusted and proven automated bot not like what OP mentioned, it's uncommon.
376  Economy / Economics / Re: Fix the money, Fix the world. on: July 04, 2023, 11:12:14 PM
Bitcoin isn’t going to close the bracket between the rich and the poor. Today bitcoin is $23,000, it’s not exactly affordable for the poor to buy at this time, only those who were smart enough to seize the opportunity to buy bitcoin in the early days are the lucky ones. Read the bitcoin whitepaper, Bitcoin doesn’t solve the poverty problem, it provides a safe haven from censorship and government control, unfortunately people are more concerned with making profits than using bitcoin as a currency.
Ain't know where did you get this price but it catch my attention and quickly look at the price chart but it wasn't.
But I tend to agree with you, that's why Bitcoin has a smaller fraction that can able to have as long as you can cover the fees.

That's good of what Bitcoin had.
One of Bitcoin's unique features is its accessibility to anyone, regardless of location or socioeconomic status.
With Bitcoin, everyone has an equal opportunity to store and utilize the currency, effectively eliminating the divisions between the rich and the poor.  By enabling self-custody of funds, individuals can take charge of their financial lives, free from the constraints imposed by traditional financial systems.  The most important is you must be knowledgeable enough about this system.
377  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What Wallet Do You Store Your Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2023, 11:59:22 PM
Wouldn't it be best to store the BTC in a wallet that pays high interest?
No, that's not important at all or called "the best".
The best purpose of storing your coin is to have better security for your valuable asset and always remember the golden rule of crypto space "Not your keys, Not your coin".  When using a custodial wallet, you are relying on the wallet provider to securely manage and protect your funds. You don't have direct control over your private keys, which means you are placing trust in the custodian to act in your best interest.

Quote
But there are other crypto wallets that pay high interest.
If someone was to buy and hold, why would they get a wallet that doesn't pay interest?
It's very risky to deal with this action if your sole purpose is to get interest while you are holding, it seems like the same concept as storing your money in traditional banks.  You let them have full control over your money, what's the purpose of Bitcoin being here and the word of having decentralized nature?
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I want to create a cryptocurrency discussion group to study trends together! on: July 03, 2023, 11:43:03 PM
Yes, you can create your own thread here and discuss those trends that you've said together.  It's better to show and view it publicly to avoid member's manipulation just like a group of pump and dump.

IMO, I never had joined any group of traders on Telegram, Twitter, Discord, or any social media except it here, all those I mentioned will potentially turn into a pump-and-dump group or it could be members are prone to become scams, these are also known us here a house of scammers.

I suggest you create a thread here and publicly discuss what you'd study and once you prove it you may gain the trust of the community or other members too.
379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is buying merit parmited on: July 03, 2023, 11:33:51 PM
OP needs to direct his energy to a productive habit which is increasing his post quality. For those finding it difficult to gain merits, we have numerous threads that helps users like yourself and you can apply on those thread and get your posts rewarded with merits. There's so much merits to be given out on the forum as we have many merits sources but there aren't many merits worthy threads been created as most of them are just repeated discussion. Be unique and work on your craft and you'll be merited, don't engage in selling or buying merits. It mightn't be in the unofficial forum rules and regulations but it's morally wrong and when you get caught you won't be treated with mercy.
I tend to agree with this.
Not only on the OP case but also for those newbies who have difficulties getting even a single merit.  That's because of the laziness they have, it should be they need to engage in more valuable topic discussion and also encourage them to make a quality post.  So getting merit isn't a barrier for them and thinking to buy just to rank up.

It's a high chance that you'll get caught if you'll frequently doing this buying merit to someone.
It possibly ruins your account in the future if you abuse this merit system, so thinking buying merit isn't good at all so I personally discourage you about this.  Focus on how to contribute to the forum well and this merit thing will unexpectedly come to you.
380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the most used indicators by institutions to detect divergences? on: July 03, 2023, 11:09:20 PM
And what do you think are the best indicators to detect divergences?
IMO, these indicators are specifically designed to detect divergences.
  • RSI
  • MACD
  • Stochastic Oscillator

Because as I see many experts considering these indicators are commonly used to identify divergences between the price and the indicator itself, which can provide valuable insights into potential trend reversals or continuations.  They often rely on these indicators to identify divergences between price and momentum or trend, which can help them make a near-to-accurate price forecast.
