361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the *easiest* profitable betting strategy? on: July 20, 2019, 09:23:39 AM
I'm not a bet-ter but a trader, so I'd say go with betting on altcoins when there's blood on the streets!
Many would argue with that but hey, you're asking about where to risk money, right?  Wink
362  Economy / Gambling / Re: New platform on the TRON network. Smart-games.io [updated] on: July 20, 2019, 09:20:00 AM
Okay I get the idea in general, but I'm curious about the TRON choice. Really just curious, I'm not opposing it nor approve it.

For example, why not Ethereum, ARK or EOS? Well ok scrap Ethereum, I'm not a big fan of it because of its scalability... the more apps are built on Ethereum the more expensive it gets for its users.
But from a development-pace standpoint, I'd argue that ARK would be a better option than TRON.
As for EOS, I haven't done any research so I can't comment on it.

Grin Cryptocurrency Executes First Hard Fork

Quote
Tromp said that today’s upgrade did not result in a network split. Rather, the old Grin network simply halted “in its tracks,” effectively forcing users to update their software. The upgrade was completed at 9:45 UTC.

https://www.coindesk.com/grin-network-executes-first-hard-fork-in-bid-to-decentralize-mining-power

I would expect at least a 30% rally after a successful fork.
As far as I can tell, everything went smoothly, this should speak tons of the team's capabilities and enhance the proofs that they are worth our trust... at least on delivering a great product.... for the marketing we'll have to see.
Hopefully the community will help with the marketing instead of trying to buy low and dump high, wining when they are not rewarded for siting in their asses!
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: July 19, 2019, 05:11:12 PM
Thanks for creating this thread.
It was much more useful than the many others I've noticed, thanks to this thread I learnt a new English word... "destitute"!
The word "poor" would also suffice though! Tongue
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OpenBeta] FirstBlood.io - Come Play!! 1ST Esports Competition Platform on: July 19, 2019, 02:51:56 PM
Bittrex listed it back today, I am not sure they did it just for fun so perhaps some blockchain development is going under the hood and team is in touch with bucket shops. AFAIK listings never happen without some representatives contacting bucket shops.

Looool that's true! They used to be there but got delisted more than a year ago. I haven't seen any official announcement from the team though.
Only a BTC-1ST market but still a listing nonetheless!

I'd like an ETH-1ST market personally.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ㉫ ENJIN COIN - World's most Secure Mobile Wallet RELEASED for BTC / LTC / ETH on: July 19, 2019, 02:46:46 PM
EnjinCraft closed beta is now open! Access codes have been emailed to all who registered.

Wallet linking, secure escrow trading, mini games, blockchain loot—here's what you should know before you jump in:

https://blog.enjincoin.io/enjincraft-players-guide-68f3748d9e75

Not a Minecraft player but I got a key, I'm just not sure if I should buy a specific Minecraft version or if everything is the same.
I've noticed that there's a "Windows 10 version" in the Microsoft Store, is this what I need to buy?
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grin | PoW Mining | Electronic transactions for all. Community driven. on: July 19, 2019, 02:44:08 PM
I am currently mining with 6 AMD RX 570 GPU but 2 of them are 4GB ones. I am using nanopool. Is there any pool that support 4GB AMD to mine GRIN?

Bring an Nvidia guy, I can't help you with that. However I can tell you that you're looking at it wrong... It's not about the pool but about the mining software, the miner!

Try looking for an AMD miner that suits your needs.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OpenBeta] FirstBlood.io - Come Play!! 1ST Esports Competition Platform on: July 17, 2019, 12:45:32 PM
dead project?

Yes, and can we leave the thread die as well please? Let us stop resurrecting it! Roll Eyes

PS: The project itself isn't dead: https://www.firstblood.io/ but they seem to have abandoned the idea of cryptocurrencies or they just used 1ST token as a way to gain popularity in the boom era. In any case, I wouldn't support these guys who didn't even post an apology or an explanation about their token.
369  Economy / Reputation / Re: ★ Alarming information about the crypto exchange "crex24" ★ on: July 17, 2019, 12:41:22 PM
Blaming exchanges for what they list is just stupid.
At least 90% of all the altcoins are scams, some are just better organised and better hidden than others.

Crex24 deposit and withdraw works fine, the fees are what they indicate and I've successfully contacted them through the forums once. That's all I need to know that Crex24 isn't a scam exchange.
Sure, it might not check the altcoins they list, but there are too many exchanges that don't check either or their checks are very mild.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: July 17, 2019, 12:26:22 PM
Lol, new bottom?

Total failure so far. Worse performant upwards, best performant downwards.

"new bottom" doesn't stand by itself, it's called "a new bottom for the year".
And as all newbies know, a new bottom means it's time to sell, right? Wink
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 15, 2019, 06:41:53 AM
I think Ethereum has no chance to outperform its ATH in relation to bitcoin, there is too many delays and too many competitors for ETH to repeat its peak.
Money floated away f.e. to BNB, EOS etc..
What happened in 2017 due to extremely FOMO might not happen again. At least before Bitcoin reaches its new all time high. Even when Bitcoin hits its new all time high, I agree that it is hard for Ethereum and other top altcoins to come closer to their all time highs in BTC pairs (don't mention about probability to surpass their all time highs in BTC pairs).
your id says it all you dont need to be degrading other coins BTC has no real use case cuz its slow and lightning network cant be fully functional.. Ethereum will have many things to their side chains and would appreciate the hodlers.. unlike bitcoin which mainly would only appreciate if you hodl.. you need to look at the coins 2 sides .. The Grass is Always Greener on the Other Side Meaning when someone is not satisfied with their own lot in life and always assumes that there are better things in other places.
Regarding the price predictions, I'm a simple man!
I see BTC dominance @70%, I sell all my BTC for altcoins.
I see BTC dominance @50%, I redistribute my portfolio so as to hold BTC again.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 14, 2019, 04:14:17 PM
It depends on the game mostly, but most gambling games are easy to play so adding hard work on top won't change much if anything at all.
Luck plays a major role and you need to have self control and know when to stop.
373  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking to license Dice, Crash and other Crypto styled games on: July 14, 2019, 04:11:20 PM
That's a bit hard to do, since you are essentially a new account and there's no reason anyone would trust your "licence".
And is there even a need for a licence in the space? Trustworthy exchanges will have their calculation code open for everyone, then knowledgeable people will go through the code for free and post about it in forums.
If something bad is found, it'll circulate the internet quickly, a customer only needs to search for it.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card Game launch by Credits developers on: July 14, 2019, 10:32:57 AM
Why is this extension required? What is your site offering that can't be done without an extension?
This is a bullshit requirement (imagine every web app requiring their own extension to be installed!) and it also sounds fishy.

I'd stay away.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BEAM | Mimblewimble | Private | Scalable | No ICO | No Pre Mine on: July 14, 2019, 10:27:16 AM
There was no premine. You can read in detail all the info on the emission schedule here

https://medium.com/beam-mw/mimblewimble-emission-schedule-215551948259

it explains it all simply and honestly.

I don't like this chart they use to show emission though,

The last year in the chart is 2150 which makes the emission look like it's very low after the initial launch of the project, which is not true, instead a rapid emission will continue until about 2030.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - DPoS with Dynamic Fees 🔹 New CORE v2🔹 ARK Deployer 🔹 on: July 13, 2019, 05:22:31 PM
Influencers stick with projects that are on the top in order to draw more attention to themselves, we're in an age where people follow blindly like a herd, so if a coin happens to be on top, it'll be believed to be good and get much traffic and attention but if it drops, everyone forgets about it.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: July 13, 2019, 05:17:05 PM
XRP is really loved by Japan huh?
It seems like DMM is a huge entertainment company in Japan which is into many different sectors, for example they have their own crypto exchange, some gaming portals and it seems a lot more but I don't understand much of it.

I read they also had a huge mining business since 2017 which they gradually closed during the first six months of 2019.
Ripple is really picking up the beat companies to work with!
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - DPoS with Dynamic Fees 🔹 New CORE v2🔹 ARK Deployer 🔹 on: July 12, 2019, 07:27:46 AM
Is 2.6 going to be the "biggest upgrade yet"? Even bigger than v1 to v2? Shocked

And regarding the updated roadmap (https://ark.io/roadmap), I can't find ARK Logic / VM / SmartContracts anywhere, how is it named and when is this expected to be completed?
This is the most likely feature that will bring you customers and my humble opinion is that you should push it ASAP before your competition catch up to you.

Ethereum has some serious scaling problems and LOOM is the only viable solution at the moment, but I've read your whitepaper and what you're building for decentralized apps and games is much better than what we have available at the moment, just..... get it done soon please! <3

I noticed people are talking about a mobile version... I suppose they mean the web-friendly website? I didn't find any mobile application in the android Playstore.
Also, accepting 14 coins sounds impressive !
