so i will link my bank account or something and i will tell them they were gifts

Linking a bank account will only raise your yearly limit to €2500/$3500.
Now they will probably want your ID and proof of residence also, if they already limited it.
3602  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: TheBitMint - Buy Bitcoins With PayPal on: July 01, 2012, 04:36:24 PM
the lady said they did this because i dont have a proper amount of info on my account they said they will unhold all the money once i give them A LOT of info..not 18 so idk how a drivers license would work out. they also want info on my bussiness
I suggest you do NOT tell them you buy and sell virtual money.  Do not mention Bitcoins.  But, having said that I do not know what to actually tell them.  You might try telling them it is not a business account Huh

Anyway, you may need to get your parents involved?  Can/Will they help you out?  You should be able to have a verified PayPal account without a driver's license.  Many adults do not have a license so there must be other things you can provide (Passport, etc).

I don't have a drivers license and I have 3 fully verified paypal accounts, 2 personal and 1 business, so yeah, passport/ID card also works. They also ask for a proof of address. A bank letter works to verify the address, unlike on MtGox lol

Uncomfirmed (Actually received): 0.05240187 BTC

A little short, eh?

http://blockexplorer.com/tx/5bdd18a15db46269301c02782dd2ec0e7dee126ef2d93ea0fec28da0734ce940#o0 shows you received the full amount.  It's in the same block as your bet.
Well unless there was a fee of .026 somewhere not being shown Blockexplorer is very wrong.

So, what you're saying is that the blockchain that every Bitcoin node has in them is wrong and you are right, right?
I find that difficult to believe...
Also, blockchain.info agress with blockexplorer.com and it clearly shows the payment of 0.0787528 BTC going to your address 1LtYUNi4sjNEtJtRdqgstbngKxhtAtX95R and that you already spent it on a 0.23 BTC bet at satoshidice http://blockchain.info/tx-index/10996110/2fbb0b2845e57217a8afb242026715eaadce810b6e165e198df41ff39f945f0b 45 min after you received it lol

3605  Economy / Services / [WTS] 200 Facebook Likes == 1 BTC on: July 01, 2012, 03:01:51 PM
That's right folks. For 1 BTC I will send 200 Facebook Likes to any website, blog post or Facebook Fan page.

Just PM me the URL where I should send the likes to and I'll take care of it.

Trusted forum members can pay after receiving the Likes. Newer members will need to pay upfront.

3607  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why Satoshi is Anonymous on: July 01, 2012, 01:30:21 PM
-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (MingW32)

Satoshi uses a GPG client for Windows?

He uses Windows ?

Must be some kind of joke.

Maybe that portion of the key was altered.

Can we check it ?

So, does Satoshi Nakamoto really use Windows? Or is someone just trying to make it look like he does in order to tarnish his reputation? Is Satoshi himself trying to make it look like he uses Windows in order to throw investigators off the scent? Will someone else come up with an even crazier explanation? We may never know.

If he didn't used windows then how would he use the first Bitcoin clients if they were windows only?

This added cost makes spamming more expensive and less profitable, thereby reducing the amount of spam.

That part right there... Spammers already pay for captcha bypassing, so your system will only make their life easier and probably less expensive, because if you wish to make it more expensive for spammers, it will be too expensive for valid users.

But anyway, good luck with your project. I'm curious to see the result and if it will work.
3610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using bitcoin addresses for captcha..... on: June 30, 2012, 11:32:31 PM
If you detect them spamming show longer and longer ads each time they show up....

If you want to spam me I will spam you lol

Edit: of course those would be bitcoin ads lol.

Like bots care with ads! Hand spamming, and looking at the spammed sites is for cashless amateurs Wink
Also, that will not be fair to advertisers, as they're the ones who'll end up paying for bots to "watch" their ads lol

Its  apity you couldnt make an anti spam bot that keeps the spambot occupied lol.

For real...

Now you just gave me an idea... I could test anti-spam/anti-bot measures for a price.
I have the means to do it lol

Me, and the company I represent are preparing to launch a public beta version of our bitcoin related page: bitcoincloud.com.

I would like to get whitelisted so I can introduce the project properly in the Project Development section.

Can you please insert the following meta tag on the site's source, on the head?
Code:
<meta name="bitcointalk" content="jankrib" />

You can remove it after, ofcourse Smiley

Out now

Checked. You're whitelisted. Enjoy!

that sounds more like the church of stupid.

Isn't that the church that's headquartered in the Vatican?

um is that supposed to be an equal retort?..

No, it's supposed to be a serious question...

Cool, so I suggest you then take it up with someone in a position of authority to answer it.

Ok, so you are not that person. Got it!
