https://young-basin-20186.herokuapp.com* You only have 24 hours to register a node, after that period you won't be able to register one of these special elite nodes (thats why I thought it was fair to tell others in the wider community so no one can say they didn't have a chance) This is a red flag for me. Only 24 hours notice? This is my first time seeing the thread, so I think I can reasonably say that "I didn't have a chance". So, now I can't start a masternode and cannot earn a percentage of the transaction fees. This is similar to an instamine, but it is an instamine of masternode privileges. It is definitely unfair to those who find out about the coin after you cannot setup a masternode... Maybe it is still within the 24h period you claim, but I still will not participate in solidarity of all who will not find out about this coin until after that timeframe. It is unfair to them. Any cryptocurrency with such a scheme will never gain users and adoption, as the early adopters are given an unfair advantage. People had about two weeks to set up a node not 24hours. Wanna know how many were registered in two weeks? 500! Third of supply taken out of action. If it a scam a lot of people have been fooled lol. It's legit, personally I like the community amateur start to the project, I'm tired of ICOs taking a few million BTC, and investors end up with a coin that often drops in value. This seems old school crypto to me where propelled can get in on the bottom rung, love it. as i understand it there will be further chances for static nodes, because of the need to hard code them block 50k was used to implement the first bunch.

seems the update didnt go as smooth as planned there are still quite a few on the wrong chain/old client please update to latest wallets. available from the OP https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1789342.msg17843273#msg17843273or compile from src https://github.com/nobtcoin/Nobtcoinif you're not insync with http://84.200.210.130:3001/ you're on teh wrong chain, if you need to update your client, it should automatically choose the new chain and wipe out old chain, but if it doesnt delete your copy of the blockchain and sync from scratch. here is correct hash for block 56002 c0a5c5845cf7e50c037d743799a32281d0d80fb4a6f318b6d2eb6da8632da3a0 http://84.200.210.130:3001/block/c0a5c5845cf7e50c037d743799a32281d0d80fb4a6f318b6d2eb6da8632da3a0OLD CLIENT { "version" : "v1.0.0.0-g32a928e",

Hi HoneyCoiners Does anyone have the same issue as i do. Wallet is out of synch for 11 days. As i am a full node with open port i have atm 24 connections to the network. When looking at Yiimp pool its finding blocks. http://yiimp.ccminer.org/site/block?id=2009 and seems to be on the right chain and current Honey 1.0.4.0-Honeypot release and same for Coinminers Info pool. Am i missing something? Mine stays sync and can receive or send, but staked nothing in 11 days non-stop on.try deleting your chain and resync from scratch. remember to backup your wallet.

my staked weight (22230) has finally gone above the network weight (17843)! according to the blockchain estimate, i should stake in 47 seconds. i understand a lot of people's frustrations regarding the staking with NOBT, but ive seen the same thing occuring with other projects as well, and the end of POW for those currencies is much further down the road than what is faced by this project.
oh i'm curious, i've never seen it before (not that i haunt the ANN section very much ) can you share any other coins with similar issues?

We need your opinion on start pure POS ,your participation in this poll is important, would you like to -stop POW at 55000 blocks (aroud 3 days) and start pure POS. - Waite to end of POW 70000 blocks
PoS has been broken for several weeks now, it worked only the first few days I've used the client. currently the code has an issue with how it manages difficulty (V1), t here is a switch over at block 70,000 (end of POW) which will change it's retargeting algorithm slightly (V2) and will start staking again.(actually given that the code exists in a few other coins, i'm impressed it hasnt been an issue before)so at the moment it doesnt seem like it ever wants to stake again ... but it's only for the moment even though it will switch over at block 70000 it's easily changed with a fork to change switch over block to an earlier block eg 55,000 as mentioned in the poll. . i think when Nobtcoin says "Start pure POS", they mean re-enable POS earlier rather than wait til block 70000. . personally i see advantages to both suggestions. 1. re-enable staking means staking will happen now 2. making the coin slightly harder to attain with a bit more investment needed through mining or purchase i've come around to seeing option 2 as more interesting as people can still accumulate coins and be ready for block 70000 with their coins accruing age. . for anyone interested, the last staking block has a time stamp that is earlier than the preceding block, current retargeting (V1) obviously has issues with using a negative time difference, https://github.com/nobtcoin/Nobtcoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1090the new method (V2) ignores negative numbers. https://github.com/nobtcoin/Nobtcoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1120block 28410 22nd Apr 2017 21:18:28 <<< prior block http://84.200.210.130:3001/block/afb5e094603c0d72c77c9d20bbc34b3239d90ef6ff1ea9146ff73a9bb3615d42block 28411 22nd Apr 2017 21:10:33 <<< last staking block http://84.200.210.130:3001/block/412eab8d387dd4ec313213b655e5e4e3fb211afce5f4a2383c118d22a1241ae8

I found this announcement thread via the signature campaign thread, and thought I'd share some information... Not sure how I did this, but I managed to download a file called "coin.dmg" for my Mac. I got this from the TorCoin.org website (download section), and when I tried to install it, I got the default "this app was downloaded from the web from an unknown developer and cannot be opened" message. So I went back to torcoin.org's download section, clicked to download the mac wallet again, and noticed that it was now called "torcoin-Qt-OSX-v1000.dmg".
I've re-traced my steps from earlier, but can't seem to reproduce how I downloaded the file called "coin.dmg". Is this an official TorCoin wallet file? Or should I be concerned?
you can check to see whether the files are identical and you did some fancy renaming by comparing their checksum shasum -a 256 torcoin-Qt-OSX-v1000.dmg 47ce6dd660a6820ea911f5ae4942c394ab83281fac4cc9baeb2278603b3d6317
if they are identical files with different names then they'll have the same result as each other, that result above is from the file i just downloaded from the tor site, I built the mac version-qt and the results also match my original build file.

How should we proceed with reduction? I've literally locked myself out of the 20m premine. That's a huge chunk of change, and would definitely benefit everyone if burnt. Link to address: https://rain.acc-pool.pw/address/RSEmiSifB1wSnYXf3132dAjFvbs1ABsJ4RAmount 20038160.00000000 RAIN Even the 38160 RAIN I mined afterwards are stuck in there, LOL The only option I can think of is to post the address publicly so everyone could see that I haven't moved them... ...but that would still require everyone to actually trust me here have a look here at Community Coin, they hardcoded to reject any transactions from a particular address, locking those coins away for ever !!! even if someone found the lost wallet https://github.com/communitycoin/communitycoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L306I've got 20,000 RAIN bounty for anyone that can sucessfully get this working in Condensate-Qt Send a pull request and a RAIN address Dont have much time today, tried it late last night but was half asleep looks like it's slightly trickier than a direct paste, i've barely looked at the actual code lol but it results in some funny boost errors. no doubt needs some modernisation https://github.com/OBAViJEST/rain-master/pull/2/files#diff-7ec3c68a81efff79b6ca22ac1f1eabba

If I understand correctly you want to reduce the supply to make a coin more valuable therefore it might not be necessary to lock such a big amount. Just send a chunk of the premine to a non-spendable address and you are good to go. it actually seems to be the same issue, ie losing access to the premine. one minute obavijest had the passphrase, nekminnit, he didnt have the passphrase. both the wallet in Comm and the wallet here have been "lost", coding this will make sure they stay lost

Cryptopia requires 2,000,000 DOT for a listing... @ ( 44 sat / 1 DOT ) that would be .9 BTC or $1400 I have a hard time believing all these new coins are all paying $1400 each Yes. it's quite expensive. The cryptopia exchange is good but the listing fees is not good . We can consider C-cex, Livecoin, yobit. it's suitable for our coin . lol. wait for btc to dump to $600 again :p maybe they'll reduce prices, who knows
