381  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why rollin.io closed their service ? on: October 25, 2017, 05:30:28 PM
- Before closing down site they have cut off their all promotions, lowered the pay rate for their signature campaign which shows they were having some financial problems.
- They even tried to sell their site but couldn't find buyer so ultimately they have to shut down their platform.
- They might also got afraid of getting into radar of local authorities, they closed site being happy with what they have already made with the site till now.
Just another wild speculation for me , in general bitcoin dice sites seems lost interest from users.
Also with the bitcoin volatile nowadays makes them struggle to make decision wheter they have to continue or just withdraw all the bitcoin profit they have with current nice rate.
It is just make me so pessimistic about bitcoin gambling business heading the future .
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: October 25, 2017, 04:41:36 PM
I believe that gambling can give you lessons in life as it teaches you that losing is not the end of the game , the most important part of it is to keep trying over over until you win . It teaches you also how harmful addiction is and that everyone should have self control instead of letting his addiction take over the commands .

But if we keep trying over and over again till we win, that means we will be addicted too fast. If we did that, we get no lesson yet from gambling. The real lesson from gambling is when we able to change our perseption regarding it. From, a way to get easy money - toward - a way to have fun only!
The problem is people usually always feel not satisfied on lost although you are planning to have fun since first time gambling.
That makes your perseption inversely with your action when it is live .
No wonder people do that , gambling always attracts with that way. That wasn't a lesson at all for me , nothing really you can get as a lesson from gambling , yeaaa unfortunately.
383  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: October 25, 2017, 04:28:20 PM
For now, its not on my mind selling my bitcoin. I have a mindset of just holding it, the market demand is continuously growing and the bitcoin value is also moving forward. I think Ill be selling once the number of bitcoin users doubled. Im currently having a good profit since I invested some good amount, and expecting to earn more.
This is my scheme : if i have 2 bitcoin i will spend 1 bitcoin daily in hope to grow it in the market and another 1 bitcoin to hold it forever.
So i won't sell my bitcoin anytime soon , and when it comes to trading i'll look at the sell wall for simple way and follow the train to sell.
But when i have a lot of time to make a research i will look at the bearish or bullish potential , of course with my own speculation.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: October 25, 2017, 04:15:56 PM
In both cases we have to risk our money and at the end we get profit or lose. So the input and outputs are same. But Gambling is totally depend on the luck factor whereas trading is based on the knowledge. The main problem is we do trade without analysing the market or on based of our limited knowledge and that is nothing but gambling.
Things make people consider trading as gambling is because of sometimes you feel everything there is about money game.
I mean you stake your money to predict the price and you stake your money to guess what color appear in roulette for example.
Both staking money and both predicting future right? The difference is only on the process making these predictions.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: October 25, 2017, 04:07:02 PM
Hi guys!
We all know that gambling is not only a fun but also potential danger. So are you limiting yourself somehow when gambling? DO you use casino's instruments to prevent you spending more money?
Or do you just limit yourself by setting a certain amount of money to spend? Or you don't limit yourself at all?
Thanks for sharing!
Cheers,
Yours OshiHugo, Oshi.io CM

If you are an active gambler and you don't practice a sound bankroll management system then you are making a big mistake ---> setting up a bankroll manage budget is probably the most important aspect of being a successful gambler ---> PERIOD!  It's vitally important.
Setting a decent bankroll means you are serious with your purpose in gambling and you are aiming for a long term success and that will only happen if you have the good qualities of a successful gambler. Winning is easy if you have the skills but bankroll management is very important because not everyday for sure is your winning day, you have to be discipline and follow your bankroll management diligently.

Yes ---> Variance is also very important concept to understand.  We're not always going to have winning days and sometimes we may experience long streaks of negative outcomes.  When we design our bankroll management system, we have to consider the specific game related tolerances and setup our budget within a safe range to account for negative streaks of variation.
You have to accept that in the long run gambling will make you have more losses than winning.
Why? It is about -EV , with setting limitation you might could avoid to get lost deeper and deeper to ended up in better situation.
I mean the feeling when you have successfully stick on the rules to limit your losing amount is so satisfying .
386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC--->USD day trading possible? on: October 24, 2017, 07:01:10 AM
Have you tried using Bitstamp? For starters, they charge 0.25% on every successful trades and this is subject to change as your account gets verified. So at the current market rates, that would be $15/1 BTC successful trade. You can also try Kraken and Poloniex if you think Stamp wouldn't cut the chase. Just be ready on verification of your identity so you can trade easily.
Bitstamp one of my favorite exchange , they are the oldest one too , no doubt about how good the service.
Coinbase is indeed sucks when it comes to taking fee , they are bunch of greedy people.
Just avoid to use poloniex especially when you planning to trade with big amount , my withdrawal pending for long time a lot of times.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: October 24, 2017, 06:49:26 AM
Be aware and be cautious would be the smartest way to play. Be aware about your expenses and be sure that you are not exceeding your limits. Be cautious in your emotions, don't let greed control you and learn when to stop and how to stop. Self control is a must if you are to play especially in a land base casinos.

In short, don't let emotion get in its way towards your gambling session as much as you can. The reason being is that, when you get too emotional, you tend to do some rage bets and we all know mostly what are the consequences with rage betting, right?

our minds are always gathered on one side badly if it is based only on gambling, and the gap that occurs will cause too much emotion so many losses that occur afterwards, if we apply multiple stream income then gambling should not be played every day and when you play then the mind will become more fresh and positive
Yeaa i have said something like that a lot of times actually.
You should not gamble frequently , it is just bring you more frustation time and addiction for sure.
When you gamble occasionally you won't get in trouble and that is the only wa you can act smart deal with gambling.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Is Bitcoin Gambling Industry So Successful in the World? on: October 24, 2017, 06:24:42 AM
It's not so successful but the amount of players are surely increasing every day. The reason behind this is surely the house edge which is max 1% on most of the gambling sites as well as the ease of gambling you need to put some fake details deposit and withdraw with any personal information to be provided

Then i think we should accept that it is successful because you also accept it that everyday players numbers are increasing, also you give us valid reason, in online gambling we could play it even we have no enough money because in it the house edge is very less. In gambling if we want to play but we can't play it because we have no more money, but in online gambling it has solved the problems.
Lol yeaa there must be a reason why the number of player who using bitcoin to gamble increasing drastically.
And it is just show how successful bitcoin gambling industry so far , not only the player but the number of gambling provider popping up day by day.
They know the opportunity in this business far more promising than any other business nowadays.
389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: October 24, 2017, 05:42:18 AM
I will say that real big players have entered into cryptocurrency and more will soon enter, that's why price keeps rising. I believe that Bitcoin still have a major role to play in the future and still in its early days. We haven't seen it all yet.

Those players you are telling are already in the bitcoin scene before but they haven't moved so the price of bitcoin didn't moved quickly just like what happened today. There's actually a major role for bitcoin to play as my guess is that it will be the major currency that everyone will use for transacting as we buy goods, services and other things through internet. It's now transparent the future of bitcoin, everyone has an idea on what's the future of bitcoin.
We are in so confident phase where bitcoin currently on top , yeaaa on ATH.
People will keep teeling that the future of bitcoin so clearly  secure and bright.
But guess what will people do when the price freefall? I don't think they will remain confident , the point is to keep support bitcoin no matter what happened.

Yes of course we have a bright future on bitcoin because many people have been benefited a work as partime or a fulltime due to the fact that many of our fellowmen working abroad to have a nice income. But when you have a bitcoin you can guarantee that you don't have to work outside the country.
Indeed it is good for those people who come from developed country or even poor country.
You can earn money with bitcoin rates which means you will get a salary equal to other people around the world who work with above average salary.
It is very helpful and show how powerful bitcoin it is , now or later.
390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: October 24, 2017, 05:32:52 AM
Well you really have to experience losses for you to succeed on your trading, personally i treat losses as a good experience that i can use for my trading skill. Trading with bitcoin will surely give you higher profit but of course you still have to be more careful when you are trading. Always trade with a plan so you will surely maximize your profit.
That is true , so you will learn something good from it right?
Experience hold a key role too here in trading , the more often you do trading the more experience you will earn.
And during the proccess you will know every situation such as when you get a loss , you have to be calm down and be patient to recover it all .
391  Economy / Gambling / Re: directbet.eu - How do we reach them to settle bets? on: October 24, 2017, 05:05:28 AM
Does anyone know how to get in touch with DirectBet?
I heard they were honoring all of their transactions even though the site is gone and I had a long dated bet on the Astros to win the championship and wondering how I can get in touch with them to honor the bet. I have the bet confirmation email and transaction information. Am I completely out of luck on this one?
Did you try their email (support@directbet.eu). direbet admin/support isn't active here(last active august 15 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=207436). emailing them is the only option.

The email addresses at directbet.eu bounce. And PM'ing their bitcointalk account doesn't help because they've been inactive since August. Was hoping someone knows more about who they are or how to reach them. It's not an immaterial bet... 1.2btc payout.

Also, I'm just using a newbie account because I was locked out of my account and have been unable to reset it. Waiting on response from mods.
They are not really anticipating something like this , i mean it is clearly stated that the payout will send automatically.
Even they have decided to leave and close the service , at least leave some bitcoin for the possibility winning of active bets such as this case.
Let's see what i can do to help you out , i have a contact in instra corp a place where the domain registered .
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: October 24, 2017, 04:46:21 AM
When I came to know that I can easily gamble with bitcoins online that made me more attracted towards bitcoin and whatever bitcoin I used to get I spent it on gambling hoping to double it in quick time but that never happened and every time I used to come back either to double my bitcoins or to recover my loss but all the time results were not in my favor.

Maybe its time to pause and rethink again if you still want to come back after failing to recover your losses because as what you've said the results are not in your favor. Maybe we should set limits to ourselves specially in gambling because the worst scenario will be either we become poor or addicted to gambling.
Mostly people get broke because of gambling addiction and several come back attempts.
They wish to win back what they hsve lost , and that is a wrong mindset when you so confident to do so.
It might just form of greedy , people don't want to accept the risk that they possibly get lost and just want to get win.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: October 24, 2017, 04:37:21 AM
yes absolutely even I have made a stratagy to earn a lot of money and do you know what that is...it is just stay away from gambling..and work hard on other jobs or any skills

Gambling gives you to earn money in several periods of time. You have win some of money ..But if you have lost, you are probably losing of your gain to have save of your profit. Makes some learn from it, to never came back as a gambler. Because it's 100% wrong..
In my own opinion gambling is not wrong as long as you will not get addicted on it. dealing gambling as stress reliever and for fun is not really wrong it will only get wrong if you put it all your time and attention on betting of unsure bet and the product of that is either you loss most of your money instantly.
Considering gambling is so addictive i think those people who did not aware about this will treat gambling wrong.
Yeaa when you know every single consequences you might receieved later in gambling , you will be just fine.
But when you gamble with high expectation , it is gonna be a disaster.
394  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 1 Year in Cryptocurrency still no luck earning bitcoin. Need some real advice. on: October 20, 2017, 11:03:43 AM
Im sorry to be the one to say you this, but you are 1 year into cryptocurrencie and you havent learned how to get bitcoin, are you real or you just joined a forum or some place to watch, because its impossible you not being able to earn some satoshis along 1 year... currently if you do any of the free ways, faucet and captchas... you would get atleast 0,05 bitcoins accordingly your free time. If you had invested and loose your money into trading or gamble its another issue.
Yeaa basically when you do make your own research about how to earn bitcoin , you should have some by now.
It is just doesn't makes sense to see people so hopeless like that and get nothing during the year learn about bitcoin.
You can simply buy computer parts to build a miner and start to earn there slowly easily and steasy.
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you going to keep your BTC on exchange during the upcoming forks? on: October 20, 2017, 10:52:22 AM
I will keep it as long as the exchange support BTG in the upcoming forks and must be trusted exchange. But currently only Yobit i heard support BTG.
That is reasonable enough , i did it in the last time fork and there's nothing to worry about it.
As long as they are trusted you can continue to trade there and get your BTG later , hopefully.
I don't recommend yobit as your primary exchange by the way , have bad experience with them.
396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: October 19, 2017, 10:05:00 PM
In my little experience price falling is not a problem at all. Because it's happens always. Be patient and hold your coin. Market will be rise soon. And don't panic. If you do then you will lose your coin.
Experience really sometimes is the best teacher. For so many people who have stayed in the game for a while, they have realized that FUDs will just stir the market a little bit and then after then, we end up seeing a huge rise which makes them stronger rather than making panic decisions.

Moreover, this forum is a good way for people to learn from experience to understand that panicking will never help but cause more loss.
Yes you know that doubt always there , but as time goes by you will learn how to deal with it.
Taking risk or get nothing principle could be used here to decide whether you will keep holding or cutloss.
Analyze the market carefully and make a decision . Sometimes keep holding drive people into deep regret and burn your investment.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: October 19, 2017, 09:47:00 PM
For games like poker, if you're not constantly examining and analyzing your play at every opportunity, you'll never get your poker game to where you want it to be. Yes, any player can go on a lucky Run and win for a while without really looking into their gameplay but a player that studies their gameplay and relys on past hand history is already 2 steps ahead.

In poker you don't really have to do analysis but you'll analyze the movements of your opponents. Analysis is mostly applicable to sports betting, you'll be a sports analyst in no time if you'll try to gamble with it and this is the reason why every sports bettor is becoming successful in this type of gambling. They/we have time to analyze and study the teams, the match and the players so we can choose properly depending on the odds too.
You can always use analysis in any games before start to gamble.
But the question is how effective it is?
I don't think using analysis in gambling could make you win  , it is just make you have no doubt anymore to make a bet as you have seen several facts.
But I think we can use analysis in sports games and other such games where do not depend 100% on our luck. For example in cricket matches if you know about the team and their players, you have good study about every player of a particular team, you know all the strong and week area of a player then you can predict and analyze about the team, but cannot analyze about dice games where we totally depend on our luck.
Still in the end luck has the biggest role deciding whether you win or lost it.
For example when you do know everything about certain game/event/player and so confident that your bet will win more than 99%.
But then the outcome turn around and everything you have expected messed up to lost , that is how gambling always work.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: October 19, 2017, 08:49:57 PM
Maybe it could be yes, but it only happens to a few gamblers who exist in this world. Because, most gamblers only achieve a momentary win and cann't be a profitable activity.

i am sure that in gambling, if we playing the games for a long run then it will not become profitable activity because we can not win every time we've played. i think if we search about profitable activity, then we can search the other things than only playing gambling because its not guarantee for us to get winning.
Yeaaa it always misleading when people come to gamble for making money .
It won't happened for sure , a lot of legit researches has been made to prove that gambling is not profitable.
So it is impossible for anyone to expect their gambling habit could turn profitable.

Yep, I have not seen many people making real profit with gambling. Sometimes I see players posting nice winnings, but you never see people posting their losses.
Even with research and really picking out your bets, there is still a factor luck involved.

That's the way they do advertise sometimes , to motivate other people to gamble with the good winnings shared.
Yeaa it is just making people lured that gambling is profitable for them but the reality it is not.
Just no way for anyone to keep getting profit more than their losses , it is the undeniable fact.
399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: October 19, 2017, 08:35:38 PM
if we look at the trading nature it is not said to be fun and games because in the games you will never face the reality while in the case of fun you will enjoy every action and in the case of trading it is serious activity and people are getting high risk in it and they earned more income through bitcoin trading and if we want to b successful we must do bitcoin trading

Don't need to be too serious like that! Sometimes, when you are too exhausted to trading, you can treat investment like a game. It can make you feel more happy and funny. That's also good for your health. If you are always serious, you will die soon, I think.  Grin

While trading its good to be serious but at a limit, not too serious that can reciprocate your result, but also not in a very casual manner that can never let you succeed or reach your goal. Fun should not be involved everywhere and neither too much seriousness. Everything should be balanced all the time.
Yeaa taking trading as a serious matter won't give you good result , take it easy as a money game isn't good way to trade also.
Make it balance , you have to trade seriously but sometimes you should go for having fun with it to release stress.
Consider trading as a pure game i think only for those people who don't know anything about trading.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $123 for few minutes on: October 19, 2017, 08:17:25 PM
Nice Winnings you got there but the number of bets was pretty large I think, but at least you have earn from it, even though you had so much number of losses, because gambling really works that way and it has so much risk in winning in it, but you didn't put what kind of game you had bet on?

I placed $33 only, won $123 Smiley my profit $90
Return was been 495%
I playing on http://oddevenbets.com

I think that win today.. But I see that this game "win 495%" is offline Grin Grin Grin work 198% now only.

I just know about that site  Roll Eyes seems legit but i am not sure if it was a right place for high rollers.
You just have got lucky bet i am pretty sure , when you continue to play like that o believe things won't run the same .
You might have won that $123 easily by now , in the long run you are at risk to get lost more than that. Well just congratulation and stay safe.
