381  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: March 07, 2024, 05:46:16 AM
To those users who are looking for an airdrop for "being early supporters Shuffle", check your notification in chat support from Noah. You will absolutely be happy. Cool

OK, what's the next casino that will mint their own token that's also under a year of their current operation. Lead the way, ser, and I will follow.

Got 482 tokens which I don’t know if the amount is good or just a penny since I only reach silver rank on my VIP. I fall short on farming more because I’m still invested on my other casino account for VIP rewards.

Good on you ser. 👍

I believe that amount is good enough if the token truly has a listing price of $1.00. But that's also depending on how much you have lost in gambling. If you lost thousands, then the price needs to surge to be "good enough".

Quote

I hope they will listed this on exchange or provide token conversion on the casino to different currencies with just minimal fee. Is there any info what will be the initial circulating supply of the token once the airdrop release? Finger crossed on 1$ each token price per SHFL.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

You probably should give it a chance and just merely HODL. Your 482 SHFL wallet might be worth more than the starting market value if the price surges to $10.00
382  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 07, 2024, 05:27:08 AM
I don't  know why I kinda hate it when someone  talks about shit coin  Tongue they are shitty and will keep on representing  their name.
It's even more had to know which is scam currently as they are masking behind the bullish market luring investors to dumb them.

I also started holding  BTC some few months back when I joined this forum  I knew about shitcoins though but I never invest in them .
Happy for you mate ( keep your keys safe Grin)

It's a waste of time and money to invest in shitcoin. But probably many of us had an experienced investing in this kind of coin when we're just starting. Because of our greed to profit and just going with the flow on what's the current trend. But what matter is, we learned from the past experiences and we became aware of what coins are worthy to hold.

Although I try to discourage newbies/plebs like me from making the same mistake that I made before 2019, I believe it's debatable and it depends on your ability, knowledge, and absolute luck. Plus plebs should be sure that they're "trading" to outperform Bitcoin - and HODL their profits in Bitcoin - which is very VERY difficult to do.

Quote

Anyway, Bitcoin is already soaring high. I bet many of us here bought during bearish season (as i'm one of them). This is a slap for investors who have doubt before, but now eager to invest because they already want to join the ride and don't want to miss the opportunity.

There will be many "traders" who will have less units in Bitcoin than those who merely HODLed since 2023.
383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 06, 2024, 10:25:42 AM
e

Taking profit from your investment is good, and actually suggested so you can re-invest those profits into another asset. BUT in a new asset class such Bitcoin, I would discourage anyone from taking profit in any price under six digits. Why? Because we haven't truly seen its real value financially, and its REAL value socially and politically.

Obviously, bitcoin is the best performing assets and cannot be disputed but I understand while despite its performance some folks worry about its sustainability which is one of the reasons why they want to take profit too early.

I believe it's too early to think about Bitcoin's market "sustainability". How many Bitcoin users are there today? How many more users in the world are financially underserved? There simply is too MANY. Cool

Quote

Bitcoin price today is 61K USD and even at this, bitcoin is still at its earliest stage. There are still so many people, institutions, and countries that would invest in bitcoin together with some market forces that will push the price above 100k. It is very attainable now.

But during 2019 there were merely a handful of people who would say with real confidence that Bitcoin will surge to six digits. Many times, those people were derided as stupid, or called "Moon Boys". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
384  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: (Ordinals) BRC-20 needs to be removed on: March 06, 2024, 10:11:17 AM

This low fee face has been good.

But, I wonder why the Ordinals guys aren't making their moves now.

Why are you only interested in doing this during busy periods?

Well, they are/were the ones causing the busy periods. Ordinals activity is down across the board. It appears the hype is finally subsiding; however, last time I said that (in October) it came roaring back with a vengeance, so I don't want to jinx it.

It appears there market has reached an inflection between a saturation point and boredom; there's just too many ordinals + BRC-20 for sale out there and a finite amount of BTC to pay for them. If anyone is interested, this is the collection that seems to be all the rage right now:

https://magiceden.io/ordinals/marketplace/nodemonkes

The floor price is currently >0.4 BTC for them and 45.5 BTC in trading volume over the last 24 hours Shocked  insanity. No way it will last.

It will depend on their HODLers and if there's enough interest from people outside of their community. But it might not last. They're merely HODLing because they're incentivized when the price surges higher. People could ask how is "that" different from Bitcoin. The main difference is Bitcoin is an actual technology that acts as a backer of its ethos. It's no mere dick pick that those users like to keep in their wallets. It's a facilitator that can bring forth actual social and political change.
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are still early in this bull run. Retails have yet come back massively! on: March 05, 2024, 11:41:43 AM
Retail might not be in but wherever I go I am not getting calls for $100K, i am getting calls for $200K or $1M or something crazy and we didn’t even make the ATH yet.

Seems people are aping into crypto like crazy at the moment. Look at all the useless meme tokens are pumping. We got wif, shib, Pepe and of course Doge. Also some old coins like bitcoin cash, bitcoin sv, and Litecoin are pumping.

Not saying we are near the top but it sure feels like one.

That's understandable. I have the same "feelings" too, but it shouldn't truly matter if you're a mere HODLer without any profit targets during the current bull cycle.

Plus those altcoins are pumping? Because Bitcoin is pumping. If Bitcoin crashes, I'm very confident that they will also crash and the crash will be heavier up to -90%.
386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHO DOES CRYPTO DAY TRADING? on: March 05, 2024, 11:28:33 AM
I want to get into crypto day trading. It truly fascinates me. Out of curiosity, if anyone does day trading comment what crypto you made the most profit on in a 24 hour period. Please tell me what crypto and the total amount of profit you made. Thanks

Don’t believe on the numbers that people are claiming. No one actually shares how much profit he or she does. You need to learn about trading yourself only. You need to understand the basics at first if you are new to trading and try trading on demo balance. Trading isn’t at all easy. Hence it’s alright to get losses at first. People learn from their mistakes only. Now it’s better to learn the normal trading first before getting into intraday trading. Learn about the risks and make yourself better to handle the situations.

Plus those "traders" who make claims that they have made big profts from the market, and then he/she will sell you a book, an expensive day-trading course, or have a paid chat group to "teach" and tell you his next trades, are actually not very profitable traders. Because why would a profitable trader share his/her secrets to the people who would be his/her counter-parties in the market?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for March on: March 05, 2024, 08:35:10 AM
I don't see any traps with Bitcoin right now, what I can see is a breakout. The all-time high is the resistance and it is being broken.

So for me, once we just go pump above the current all-time high. I expect a massive run will commence.
Well, let's wait for a few days, it could be a bloody March.

It's actually why it's called a "Black Swan". We never know when it arrives, it merely arrives unannounced and it always traps 90% of us plebs. In the legacy markets, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerburg, and probably more of the people behind those tech giants have been selling the stocks of their own companies since December. Why? What do they know? Tin-foil hats on, the inflation print for the next few months will be an indicator if Jerome Powell will actually raise interests again. Plus the surge in the legacy and the cryptocurrency markets indicate that there's extra demand left, and everything might remain inflationary.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: My top 3 picks for up coming crash on: March 05, 2024, 08:22:35 AM
not being very popular doesn't mean the goods are useless, but indeed the use of the goods is rare and very rarely traded, only a handful of people like art, but this is different from commodities which are traded every day, of course it covers a fairly wide market, and many people use it.

I think the main crash is items that are not really used.

The market for Art and Commodities are very different. Commodities, like Oil, Metals, and also Orange Juice, are based on actual demand for the actual Commodities that they are. Art, althougn their real fair value is how much the market demands for them, is based on a sort of "scam" that artists, dealers, and collectors participate in. There's no actual utility in them. Bitcoin was in the same situation during its early years until the Silk Road was built which started the revolution for other Dark Markets to be built.
389  Economy / Economics / Re: My top 3 picks for up coming crash on: March 04, 2024, 06:01:42 PM
Assuming you can predict which markets will crash, is the idea to stay away from them or to buy when they crash and then sell when they recover?

I believe assets like Gold and Real Estate should be bought after the crash and HODLed. Gold as a commodity has been with human society for centuries. Real Estate is the only asset with an actual capped supply.

Quote

I'd be afraid to buy something like contemporary art because I don't have confidence that the price will get back up, for example. Real estate sounds more solid, but again, there's a big risk involved. Not to mention that all the options listed by the op significantly limit the number of people for whom such info is relatable because of a very high starting price point.

Real Estate, depending on the area, is actually low risk compared to something more volatile like Bitcoin. BUT its problem is its market, which make them very illiquid. That's a HODLers-only invesment.

Quote

I'm not convinced that there will be a global economic crisis any time soon, to be honest, so there's no need to jump the gun.

That's the reason why it's called a "Black Swan".

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for March on: March 04, 2024, 05:38:52 PM
Considering the way price is rising rapidly every day setting a new record after a long period of tiny rises, we can already say we are in a bull market with a very nice momentum that I don't think is going to slow down that easily.

Ser, if someone told you that at least one government entity, that's not El Salvador, has started purchasing Bitcoin to HODL in their vaults, what would be your opinion? Would you believe it?

Because Bitcoin, as a financial asset, has become more Gold-like than Cash-like, government entities might be starting to bid. Plus Bitcoin might have changed from the way Satoshi wanted the network to be, but that's because of the whole design, from the incentive structure to the transaction throughput.
391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHO DOES CRYPTO DAY TRADING? on: March 04, 2024, 03:53:15 PM
HODL is the best strategy for anyone who wants to sleep soundly with ongoing investments.
I agree.

I am better with holding and there's no need for me to check all the charts all day long and I don't have to run so fast as if I'm in a marathon trying to catch my breathe because I am on a leverage.

It's better to get into the spot whether you trade or hold. But if you're firm believer of long term holding, then obviously that it's always been the best idea to hold to your wallet.

Plus how can plebs like us win against the professional traders, who studied harder, who are simply better day-traders, who are also very well-capitalized, and who utilize an army of bots for each of their trades? We simply can't and if you compare the ROI of "day-traders" and the HODLers in BitcoinTalk, I'm confident that 90% of the Bitcoin HODLers will have a larger ROI than the "day-traders". They actually lost units counted in Bitcoin. Cool

Although retail money that's going to enter the ecosystem later in the cycle is going to be very important, I believe the entities that will truly make Bitcoin surge meaningfuly this bull  cycle will be government entities. There might currently be one that's not being noticed that has been slowly buying Bitcoin quietly.

Don't let them front-run you. YOU front-run THEM. Buy the DIP and HODL, DCA, do anything you can to buy more Bitcoin.
394  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [WARNING] Fake Sparrow Wallet app on the Apple app store on: March 03, 2024, 03:11:35 PM
App Store is getting worse, This scam app was reported by craigraw over two months ago and yet it has not been taken down.

https://twitter.com/craigraw/status/1743573811230863813

Haha. He said that users needed to install it in their smart phones to report. But it's very probable that the wallet could also install malware, no? I believe the best way to make Apple notice is to announce it publicly in X, plus the community should also be as loud as possible through liking and reposting.

I'm curious how common do scammers trick Apple's audit process for their walled garden.
395  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |Up To 80% RakeBack |SLOTS|SPORTS|ESPORTS| JACK Token on: March 03, 2024, 06:15:43 AM
I received some bonus offers as well. Five of them in fact. Probably also with high wagering requirements, but if I'm in the mood to play I don't care. I know BlackJack.Fun wants me to play Dig Dig Diggler, and tempt me with more opportunities to go inside Diggy's hole again especially after a losing Craps session.

Wow, there are lots of bonuses, you can use the bonuses to have fun or fill your free time. I only got a $100 welcome bonus with $20k wagering requirements, a very high amount and I could only get 12% of the wager.

A $20,000 wagering requirement for $100? Have the original admins and team members of BlackJack.Fun left their jobs in the casino? There's some probability that the people currently operating the casino are different. They were not that ungenerous with bonuses and free spins before.

Quote

I had $10 left in my balance and was playing keno, pretty good with placed 3 bombs and I was looking for 3x click then collect. But unfortunately my luck at the slot machine ran out, all my balance was eaten up. Will try a few more bucks next time, hope they are still kind  Cheesy

You don't want to go back inside Diggy's Hole without lotion?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That was a joke in the public chatbox because everyone had very many free spins in Dig Dig Digger and everyone was joking that we were abusing him.

We cannot take anyone seriously who doesn't even bother to read a page or two before commenting. An issue will be explained extensively, and a few comments later, another person is back asking the same issue, making it seem like the questions are not being answered. If you have any kind of interest in the subject, it behooves you to read before you comment. If you think it's not worth your time to understand the context from previous comments, then it is not worth our time responding to you.

Thank you all for your understanding.

Ser, pardon me for the cynical nature of the people in BitcoinTalk, including me. BUT it's not about WHO read what you posted or not, or for you to take anyone seriously or not. YOU are the entity that WE should be concerned about. What it should be about is whether you're actually telling the truth or not, and I'm sure everything will be verified and validated with enough time.

Furthermore, we know that you want to make everything right with the community, but I'm very sure it's not merely about that. It's about you too and the future incentives, financial or otherwise, that comes after fixing this. We give you thr benefit of the doubt.
397  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |Up To 80% RakeBack |SLOTS|SPORTS|ESPORTS| JACK Token on: March 02, 2024, 11:26:06 AM
-snip

The only we know about 20$ Bonus it's in the Games Section but is for new user with a code.

They don't have promotion tabs, can't really check at all what promotion they have currently. To be honest, automatically add bonus to the user is a little bit weird and sketcy because in case people have a balance or deposit. Usually, bonus will come with wagering.

People who are not intend to take any bonus can get a limitation (cannot withdraw) due the waggering. It's sketcy to add bonus aumatically for user.

Ser, have you tried to play in BlackJack.Fun? The casino has two wallets for each user's account. A main wallet and a bonus wallet. All active bonuses given to the user are sent to the bonus wallet that will be available to transfer to the main wallet when the wagering requirement is acheived. There's nothing "sketchy" about that, plus why would BlackJack.Fun do something "sketchy"? They merely want you to go inside Diggy's Hole. Hahaha. Cool
398  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 02, 2024, 11:06:35 AM

I am not sure with that but I try to comprehend as well what he said. Whether we sell at a not so high price but we're able to profit from it. It doesn't matter how long someone has to wait for him to buy back.

It's not bad to take profits, actually we have to take profits whenever we can because that's the goal of everyone why we invest.

taking profit from your investment is not bad but still depends on the quantity of bitcoin you have accumulated. So in a scenario whereby a newbie started his journey of accumulating bitcoin, and he or she haven't gotten to anywhere with Their accumulation (have low quantity in their portfolio) and started taking profit from their investment expecially for those who are planning for long-term holding .

They doing so in taking profit from their investment in any increase in price of bitcoin. Shows that they lack principles in their investment, because that action may only result to slow growth of their portfolio. But as some one who have gotten far with us accummulation like holding from 4-5 yrs and above can start taken profit from their investment not those that just started their accumulation journey.

There were people warning us that Legacy Finance is coming, and they came. I believe there will be some people that will warn us that the Government is coming, not to ban Bitcoin but to BUY, and they will come. Russia is probably buying Bitcoin right now.

---Snip---

I'm quoting your last post in the topic, but I have another question.

Are you a regular of BitcoinTalk before you retired, after making millions through the exploit? Because I assume that you created a new account to protect your identity/maintain anonymity. OR are you actually not a part of the forum and merely want to do an AMA for the plebs like me?

Plus "millions"? Literally?

I just logged in to my account after more than a year without log in, surprisingly I see this notification:

Looking at the date, the bonus was added on January, 29th but it seems that the bonus has been removed already (maybe expired).
A bit confusing, what kind of bonus is this while I'm so inactive in this site?
I did not even receive any email from blackjack.fun about this bonus so I did not notice it on time.
Just logged in again because of the current discussion about the new 20USDT bonus with insane wagering requirement.

I received same bonus too probably this from their recent promotion of 20USDT with huge wagering requirements but this time including all members(possibly that done KYC if you do?).

I also received some bonus too last January 1 with a total of 100USDT that probably the reward from my tournament that I never had a chance to claim because I’m already too tired with their slow withdrawal process. If by any chance you will deposit and play here, can you give us an up on how long will it take to process withdrawal?

I received some bonus offers as well. Five of them in fact. Probably also with high wagering requirements, but if I'm in the mood to play I don't care. I know BlackJack.Fun wants me to play Dig Dig Diggler, and tempt me with more opportunities to go inside Diggy's hole again especially after a losing Craps session.

Welcome back OP. I hope that BlackJack.Fun has fixed all the issues in the casino.
