About 3 years ago world bandit break into bitcoin Atm thinking they could get some coin from it. So funny they found nothing to go with. I'm very sure they were disappointed . Bitcoin is mysterious 😄
Well, bitcoin CAM be robbed and it's gonna be even worse than with USD. Criminals can make you send them your crypto and the bad thing is that you can't even go to the police because no one will find them and even if they are, no one will return your BTC because it's crazy easy to 'clean' BTC with mixers and other tools. So in that way, bitcoin is very unsafe. That's why never share how much crypto you have.

|
No, it's not.
You can say that bitcoin can't inflate because you can't print it, but because everyone is using it as an asset, it's price fluctuates like crazy and for some people, it could be even worse than inflation because when USD inflation is 7% a year and bitcoin is dropping 4% a day, people obviously will go with USD.
But bitcoin is good for other things, it's the best tool to gain financial freedom because no one except you can control your BTC. There are no bank or government that can freeze your BTC. That's why it's so great.

Bro why are you even saying that? Of course, they should! There are a lot of girls in the crypto space who are contributing a lot.
I think we should even distinguish genders in crypto game because bitcoin is for everyone and everyone can use it.
I thnk we just need to talk about how everyone should be educated about bitcoin. It would be good for bitcoin because the more people are into it, the harder it will be for government to fight it.

I think it highly depends on the country.
I was using physical exchange in Turkey and it was a really nice experience and the fees weren't too high. So I think if you use exchanges in crypto-friendly countries, it probably would be fine.
But I'm NOT recommending using exchanges in Africa and Brazil. In these countries, if something has to do with money, the risk is getting much higher. So be careful with that.
|
|
|
Yes. Because Binance is not a US exchange and CZ is not a US citizen. And overall, crypto doesn't care about the government and its lawsuits because it's about freedom and independence.

The whole point of Bitcoin is to avoid the banking system and take control of your own money without the government and banks.
That way banks are losing money and the government is losing control over us and our money. Bitcoin is making it harder for government to tax us, so it's another huge reason why they hate crypto.
They cannot allow money that they can't control to exist, that's why they are trying to fight crypto.
|
|
|
Sound good! I think it was an idea. We all contribute to bitcoin and without us, it won't work. I love bitcoin because the simple idea of taking money and freedom in out own hands created a new monetary system and the whole new market.

Well, they won't kill crypto cos they can't, but they can stop mass adoption and at least slow it down. It would be bad for most of the people and it will be hard to work with crypto without getting in the way of the government. But I think it's not gonna happen. It's really hard to fight bitcoin at this point because it become too big to do it. And there are also a lot of people who support it.

Can't wait for the halving. I hope we will finally see Bitcoin 100k after that.
But I guess it might take a pretty long time to get there after the halving because right now I don't see the economic situation getting better in the world. The US still needs to lower inflation and until then, it will be killing the economy with high interest rates

I think there should be no force. But we still need to teach our children what bitcoin is, because no one gonna teach them about it in school or uni.
And because bitcoin is the future, learning about it early will give your kids a big advantage in the future.
I think one of the good ways to teach kids what bitcoin is, is to give them some. When you gift your kid some BTC, he will see it "growing up" with him and getting more expensive. It will be a great lesson for the kid.

You can see how someone payed 10k BTC for two pizzas. Back then, there were no exchanges available to trade BTC so there was no speculation about the value of the coin.
Yes! This is the problem. We can't just follow two narratives all at once. We can't say "let's all pay with BTC" and think "wow this dude spend 10k BTC, it's such a big mistake". Even if people don't think about it, they probably have the same feeling when they spend bitcoin, they probably feel that they are missing out on it. So yeah, I don't even know how we gonna fix it. Right now, even supporting bitcoin as a currency, I don't want to use it as one. And probably no one want to pay for bear with bitcoins every day.

Nah, he (or they?) is just a smart person who found a way to lower banks' influence over our lives.
But the fact that he is disappeared worries me. Just imagine if a guy just spilled in the shower and died. No one will even know that he is Satoshi.

It won't become a Global reserve currency because right now bitcoin is just an asset for investors and it won't be close to being a currency until it won't becomes stable enough for that.
None of the countries will think "Well yes, let's put all our money into bitcoin that can price 10% but it can fall 10% and all in one day"

Oh boy, guess miners will move to Kazakhstan now and Bitcoin will probably dip even lower.
And I don't see a reason why they won't accept this proposal. The government hates crypto and miners are those who make crypto work.

Well, digital currency is the future that can allow you to be free and not use banks. Moreover, currencies like BTC can't be printed and manipulated so government can't use them to make people poor.
|
|

When you choose between banks and Bitcoin, always choose Bitcoin.
Bitcoin was created to solve the banking problem and allow people to own their money and transfer them without the middleman. So using Bitcoin can be safer if you think that your bank can go bankrupt.
|
|
|
Because people use Bitcoin as an asset and trade it. That's why its moves are usually correlated with NASDAQ.
So when investors see any news that can make people sell bitcoin, they sell it.
So when you don't know why bitcoin is doing something, just remember that nowadays bitcoin is NOT a currency, it's an asset people want to buy and sell later.

Nothing can be said right now with the current state of the Bitcoin market. Here as you have assured that the market may go down further but I can't say for sure at the moment whether the market will go down. But I would say those who have money to invest can invest. Because the market may not go down after that, if it goes up from here, your investment may be disrupted. So if a person wants to make a long term investment then I can tell him to buy bitcoins and invest from here. Because the market is still suitable for investment.
There are signals that indicate it. You can just look at the statistics and see that there is a correlation. And even now it's obvious that the economy isn't getting better. Biden was even saying that there is a danger of default happening. So considering all these facts, it's hard to believe that bitcoin will just magically go to 60k. That's why I pointed out some factors that might indicate that the economy WILL get better and Bitcoin will go up.

You need to know one thing that the government is behind running the banks and if people are slowly turning to bitcoin and giving up banking. What would make you think the government will legalize bitcoin more in the future when it harms them more? I'm a bitcoin investor and love it, but the reality is the banks in the US are in turmoil, but the world banking industry is fine right now, and people continue to believe in it. One more thing bitcoin is a better alternative than spreading it will be a replacement for the bank, war with the banks or government has never been in our favor. As for El Salvador, I'm not saying they failed, but we haven't seen them grow since accepting bitcoin as legal tender, and they're just a small country, nobody will care, and they don't affect the world economy.
Yes, that's my point. It's obvious that government will do anything to spot bitcoin from becoming a currency. That's why they can even use this trend to say "yes guys, bitcoin is an asset and you can trade it, but we will tax it. But you won't use it as a currency". And it looks like the majority of people will be happy with that because everyone just ignores bitcoin being a currency. That's why it's literally our fight against governments at this point and out community should protect bitcoin at all costs. But right now I don't really see that people care that bitcoin is in danger.
